DEMON WALLY DESIGNS! im still working out his design but here’s a general vibe hehehahe as well as some thought provoking sketches... HUUUGE infodump about the design & demon wally au below!

below i explain my choice of representing hindu designs as opposed to christian ones! if you want to skip to the relevant information pertaining to the actual au, jump to the big bold JUMP HERE paragraph!

alright, to address the elephant in the room: no, this isn’t the typical demon/devil design you may be used to! i was originally going to keep within the red-horned pointed tail kind of mythos that generally stems from christianity/christianity aligned concepts, but then i realized i honestly don’t know much about that stuff and don’t really feel qualified to handle it in a narrative. i also know that, especially within the welcome home fandom itself, a lot of people have religious trauma that generally tends to be from various branches of christianity, so i thought this would be an interesting solution: seeing as i know a fair amount about hinduism, wally’s design is inspired by concepts about demons in hindusim in general! that way, it’s easy to write and hopefully refreshing/non-triggering to the audience! also it’s fun!

JUMP HERE: Wally’s design in the demon AU is inspired by Asura in hindu mythology! That’s why he’s got like a billion hands- I’m looking at adding jewellery/a tail/other stuff, but it’ll fall in that general theme. in terms of lore relevancy: asura in hindusim were not strictly evil, which you will find reflected in my story. wally isn’t evil per say; the neighbourhood is his turf, and he will protect it from outside threats. that being said- he is generally self-serving for now and may not always have the best intentions for his fellow neighbours. what his overarching goal is and who exactly his enemy is (as well as Home’s relevancy to the story) is being left to you to discover as the comic goes on! themes of puppetry, where wally darling ends and the asura begins, and stuff like that is left ambiguous for now! puppetry will also play a role in the story, as well as self-awareness and meta themes. hinduism and religion WILL NOT play a role in the story itself. anything i think might need contextualizing will be contextualized in the description of every update; honestly im just pulling the asura elements for Wally’s design and part of his character! this will still be a very accessible comic to people of all backgrounds. if you have any questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to send them to my askbox or leave them in the comments!

After failing to convince the royal family of his skills in defeating ganon, revali takes it upon himself to prove he could do anything the knight could do, but better. Stealing the master sword and returning to rito village, he awaits their pleas for his talents.

Zelda journeys to "hear revali out," while link follows to search for his sword during the distraction. After exploring the suspiciously empty village, zelda is confronted by revali (QUE MUSIC), while link finds the master sword. But something isnt quite right...

Had those in my pocket for a while but didn't really know what to do with them,,, Saw @evillillad 's metal au and wanted to revive my sillies!! I love the ideas you come up with for this one!!

Lineup of Iris' band! Just a concept for now tho, might add one more member later! ❀

I feel like Poison Garden would be a more old-style hard rock/glam rock/glam metal band at first , but Daria as the youngest would bring more modern elements into their music. They love to experiment with genres so it's really welcomed!

Annie has been a close friend of Petals for a long while, knowing them almost since childhood, so she was all up for Iris's idea of creating a band

Oh to be two old punks raising your silly cats together 😔😔 (though they're not even that old, somewhere around early/mid 40s). Young and reckless in their past, Iris and Fozzy are now loving and supportive parents of two lil rascals. Okay I think I am going to take a short socials break after this but I just wanted to make a few points.

1. As I said, you have all been so incredibly sweet and it’s super heartwarming and I don’t know what I would have done without y’all rallying behind me

2. Please nobody send hate to Marcia, and don’t send hate to the original poster either, that will just fan the flames (I don’t think any of y’all have been or would, I just want to make where I stand on this clear!)

3. I don’t think Marcia had malicious intent retweeting it — especially given her taking it down relatively quickly. The fault lies with the person who posted the original tweet. That being said, after all of this, I have some very complicated feelings regarding Marcia and I ask that that be respected, for me and anyone else who feels that way. I don’t think any of us hate her or wish her ill will, and once this is less imminent I may go back to stanning her, idk! But for now I have very complicated mixed uncomfortable emotions surrounding her and I think I am allowed to feel that way given that whatever fallout there is will inevitably center around me, and I am fucking terrified about that fact.

4. Again I love you all and I’m so grateful for how sweet you have all been. I may pop in here and there to message friends but I probably won’t be posting much if at all for a bit, and I’m gonna go on a bit of a writing hiatus while I figure out next steps

I love you all and I love this community and I hope that this is all a blip in the past soon, but for now I need to prioritize my safety and wellbeing and that means separating myself a bit 💕
