The Cameragirl || snc
Tumblr media
You've been Sam and Colby's cameragirl for some time now. Usually, nothing too crazy happened to you in most investigations, but this time...
warnings: paranormal activity, reader getting attacked, near death experience, strangling(?), cursing, angst?
a/n: took a bit of inspo after watching the boys' video of the asylum, but nothing exactly like it. just the fact that the place is an asylum

As they were making their iconic intro and explaining what this new place was about, you made sure to have a sturdy pulse whilst filming them.
"Today, it's just me, Sam and our lovely cameragirl, Y/n." Colby said, letting you shift the camera towards your face and smile at it.
"Hello there." You said, making sure your face was extremely close to the camera, merely because it has become your way of introducing yourself.
"And since it's only us today like the good old days, we decided to make something fun. ALL of us." Sam explained to the camera and smirked, looking directly at you.
You batted your eyes, looking at them while they kept on smiling menancingly at you. "This wasn't a part of the contract." You said, gaining a laugh from both of them.
You zoomed onto his face and began talking with this soft, almost narrative voice. A voice you very well knew they enjoyed. "What is this oh so fun idea you seem to be hyping about, mr. Golbach?"
"Why thank you for asking." Sam nodded slightly, moving his attention towards the camera. "The three of us are gonna do a little challenge tonight." He clapped his hands together as you began unzooming the camera, putting Colby back on frame.
"That's right, we're going to walk alone, lights out throughout some of the most haunted corridors from this place." Colby continued. "The owners of this place told us it gets freaky when people are alone, so we thought this might get us some good activity."
"We have some cameras with nightvision but we're not gonna see shit." Sam added, "After a while, we all should find our way back to the main lobby."
"So stay until the end to see how that's gonna turn out." Colby says, getting close to the camera before covering it with his hand, making you stop the recording for the cut.
"That was pretty good." You said, looking at the video slightly.
"You're still good with the challenge, right?" Sam asked, looking at you. You scoffed.
"Please. I wouldn't have come if I wasn't sure about it. Remember you told me about it before the video?"
"I know, I know. Just making sure, you know how I am." He laughs. "Wouldn't want you to do something you're not comfortable with."
"You're saying that like we haven't known eachother for how long?"
He chuckles. "You're right. I'm sorry."
"Alright, so since we're all settled, should we start right away?" Colby chimed in, looking at both of you.
"Not yet. This place has some good cinematic potential, lemme cook first." You said, looking around with your flashlight.
"Aight, we'll let you do your thing, I'll go ahead and look for the equipment." Colby said.
"Oh, shoot. I forgot to ask the owners about something." Sam said, taking out his phone.
"Go out with Colby, I'll be here waiting." You said, fixing back your camera to start recording.
"Alone?" They both asked, looking at eachother and then at you.
"I do my best work alone, gentlemen. You know that." You begin walking towards the shadiest corridor you've seen in your life, without even looking back.
"Oh wow. Fearless. She's trying to do the challenge before us." Colby laughed.
"Alright, I'll be super quick. If anything happens, just yell. As loud as you can." Sam said, smiling.
"Copy that." You laughed.
In the blink of an eye, you were left alone. You were used to these type of things, so it didn't bother you much. You've somehow become numb to all of this paranormal adventuring.
And that was one of the main reasons why you liked to take control of the camera, since you were able to keep your cool in stressful situations, making it easier for the viewers later on.
Plus, you didn't know how to act on camera and they were the professionals... allegedly.
Whenever something odd happened, you made sure to try and record as much as you could, in the best angles possible. You liked to joke around and call yourself a professional in your craft, although sometimes it wasn't even a joke.
You were passionate about it. The videos and the ghosts, it was only natural to try and do more, risk yourself to do something more interesting and outgoing.
That's a piece of yourself they loved about you. You were simply a perfect match in their combo.
As you began to do your cinematic, you began to have shivers. A sudden draft of air passing through you, as if a window suddenly opened.
Looking around, there was no possible way of that happening. You were in the middle of the corridor, absolutely no chance of an air draft simply passing through so randomly.
You thought it might've been a bit odd, but nothing you haven't felt before anyways. While you kept on making some videos, an eerie feeling of someone watching crossed over your spine.
The sensation of a presence slowly getting closer to you behind your back.
Almost feeling the heat of another person behind you, towering over you.
Hurriedly looking back, you were met with Sam's hand almost touching your shoulder. He stopped midway, knowing he got caught trying to scare you. "You bitch." You spit out, making him laugh.
"Damn it!" He said mid laugher. "I was so quiet this time, how do you always seem to know?"
"I can feel you lurking closer, you stalker." You looked away from his gaze, trying to ignore the thoughts of his pretty face. You began walking back to where he came from, meeting Colby in the process.
"I'm not a stalker, if anything, I'm protecting."
"Quietly from the shadows, sounds like a stalker to me, but you do you." You smiled softly, looking at the confused Colby.
"I left for a second, what did I miss?"
"Stalker behavior, nothing else." You said, putting your camera up again and ready to record.
Colby shook his head from side to side, already being on your side of the story without even asking further questions. "I can't believe you brother."
"Wha- it wasn't-..." Sam sighed, defeated. He knew you were joking, so he wasn't going to win anyways.
You laughed and pointed the camera at them. "Ready when you are." They nodded and you began to record.
"So as you can see, in our hands we have some devices that we'll scatter throughout this first room. If you've been here before, you'll probably be familiar, but if you haven't, these are basically some motion censor devices that will let us know if something walks infront of it." Colby explained, turning one of the devices on and showing to the camera how it worked.
As they organized everything, the REM-POD immediately began beeping. "Oh, shit. That's the rem pod." Sam said, stopping on its tracks. "That was the temperature dropping."
You made sure the camera caught that as you got closer to it. "Oh fuck. I was feeling a bit cold since we got here." Colby added. "Alright. I think we're ready."
"Okay. If there's any spirit around that would like to communicate with us, we would like for you to use any of these devices we've put up for you." Sam started, as you made sure to get far enough from everything for the shot.
"You can touch these lights on the floor, or maybe this device I have on my hand." Colby continued, pointing towards the EMF reader. "We mean no harm, we'd just like to talk to someone."
A couple of seconds passed, looking around, waiting for something to happen.
"Maybe they don't want..." Sam began, before getting interrupted by the REM-POD beeping, making you hurriedly move your camera angle. "Oop. Nevermind. Thank you very much. Can you do that again if you're here with us? To let us know it wasn't something else?"
Silence filled the room for a while, before the device started to beep once again.
Excited, they began asking questions to this entity, expecting for it to be somewhat intelligent enough to give answers back.
Luckily, it was. It seemed to be someone that died inside the asylum, a woman. Curious about the story of this woman, they kept on asking questions. Some of them being answered, others being completely ignored.
Asides from the constant beep from their device, you heard a knock coming from one of the corridors. Quickly looking around, they stopped talking. "What?" Colby asked.
"Heard something." You whispered. The room went silent, followed by what sounded like footsteps getting closer. You turn the camera back at them and their faces were shocked.
"Holy fuck." Sam whispered.
"That was like... thumps. We're the only ones here, right?" Colby asked him.
"Yeah, we're supposed to be." Sam says, walking towards the place they heard the sound, quietly. You followed close behind. "Hello?"
Nothing. They kept on looking around, searching and at the same time waiting for something else to happen. "There's no one here." Colby says. "But that was clear as day."
"Super clear, the camera must've have heard that, for sure." Sam said, looking at you as you nodded. "That was crazy."
"Yeah, let's try something else but closer to this area, maybe it's more active." Colby said, and all of you nodded.
A couple of minutes later, and you were all set up. This time around, they turned on a spirit box to try and communicate better.
The idea was to first use it as normal, then for Colby to do the Estes Method.
And so, the spirits began to talk.
"What's this." It spat out. Colby and Sam looked at eachother, smiling.
"Hello, this is a spirit box, you can use it to communicate with us. Would you mind telling us who you are?" Sam said, looking around.
"Hello?"
"Hi, hello." Colby responded. "Who are we talking to."
"I'm scared."
"Scared? Scared of what?" Colby asked, furrowing his eyebrows whilst looking at the camera.
"Behind you."
They quickly looked behind them. "Oh, fuck. I hate that." Colby said, as you smiled at their gestures.
It quickly faded away when you felt the familiar presence of someone behind you.
Heart racing, you looked around for a second, but there was nothing there. It didn't mean the feeling went away, though.
"Monster. Care..." It seemed the audio cut before finishing the whole word.
"Monster... care?" Sam asked, confused.
"Or maybe it meant careful? Like, careful of the monster?" Colby questioned.
"It would make sense. What monster are you talking about? Is it harming you? Are you scared of this monster... or... person?"
It took a while before responding. Last thing it said, before a screech filled the radio was... "Run."
Quickly, they turned it off. They looked at eachother. "That was terrifying." Colby said. Sam nodded and sighed.
"Let's try and look around for some other place. This doesn't feel safe." Sam said and everyone agreed.
For the past hour of recording, moving around and joking here and there, you felt a bit uncomfortable. Usually, you weren't the type to get scared over the paranormal, but this place felt more eerie than usual.
You heartbeat has been increasing slowly, as well as a slight pain in your chest that quickly faded. You felt watched.
There was a point where you even felt slightly touched, quickly warning the boys about it.
Due to this, they almost discarted the idea completely, thinking you might be getting targeted, scared that it might do something to you. It took you a couple of minutes of convincing them to keep on recording before the conversation was dismissed.
You tried to brush it all off, as 'something you've felt before', but deep down you were really anxious about it. Perhaps it made you feel better to think about it being just the nerves.
But you weren't the type of person to feel these nerves for no reason.
"Hey, you good?" Colby touched your shoulder and whispered to you, noticing you seemed a bit weird. "You seem out of it today."
"Yeah, I'm good. I was just zoning out."
"Yeah, I noticed." He chuckled, looking into your eyes. "You sure you're okay though?" He raised an eyebrow, seemingly concerned. "You don't look well."
"What? Do I look like a ghost to you?" You asked, smiling, which quickly made him show that gorgeous smile you loved.
"More like you've seen one." You shook your head.
"I'm fine. I've just seen some shadows running in the corners of my eye, but nothing too big to point out."
He batted his eyes. "You've what?"
"Calm down, you know I see those things all the time. It's nothing new." Half of it was true. The other half, well... there was a chance you might've seen a whole figure standing close to a doorframe, but you felt your imagination was tricking you too much tonight, so you didn't say anything.
You weren't a psychic or a medium or something close to it anyways. If anything, you'd probably consider it more like a hallucination due to the constant lack of sleep you've been having lately.
"I know, I know, but still. You could tell us about it, you know? Maybe we all see the same thing you do and since you don't point it out, we don't notice."
You rolled your eyes playfully. You were about to say something, but a breeze passed through your ear, a soft whisper saying "Come play."
You jumped, covering your ear and walking closer to Colby. "Shit." You whispered.
Confused, he held your shoulders. "What? What? You heard something?" His worry was enough for Sam to stop setting the cameras up and walk closer.
"What happened?" He asked. You looked around where you were standing.
"Did you guys not hear that?" You asked, the shook their heads. "I heard something like... right next to me." When you said that, Sam began recording once again.
"Alright, so... apparently Y/n just heard something right next to her." He began explaining to the camera, pointing it at you.
"It was like a whisper, it.. uh... it just said 'come play', like, the creepiest shit you can say. I even felt the air on my ear, that shit made me jump." You tried laughing about it to not let the mood down, but it wasn't working much.
"Although I really want to, maybe we shouldn't do the challenge." Colby said, looking at Sam straight in the eyes, genuinely worried.
"Guys. Come on. Don't back down when we're this close." You said. "We're basically done for tonight, this is the last thing we're doing and we're out, right?"
"...yeah." Sam whispered. "Let's..." He sighed. "Let's do it. Just like she said, we walk through the corridor and come back straight away."
Althought skeptical, Colby nodded. "Fine. Let's hurry up then. The quicker we begin, the quicker we're leaving this place."
And so, everyone held their cameras and said their goodbyes. The three of you went through your respective corridors and began walking, alone, with no light.
"Alright guys. I'm not good at, like, talking to the camera but I'll try." You sighed, pointing the camera at your face while slowly walking the dark corridor.
"Honestly? I'm usually not as creeped out when we come to places like this, but this one is like... up there. It's giving me the chills, making me paranoid, I feel like I'm... seeing thing. Or maybe I'm just sleep deprived. That's... that's also an option now that I think about it."
Looking around with the camera, although it's absolutely useless, you started feeling out of breath. Almost as if the air didn't reach your lungs anymore. "It feels... hard to breathe." You took a deep inhale and shakily exhaled.
You gulped, your throat suddenly feeling dry as the lack of oxygen was evident.
"I'm just gonna walk... faster. I wanna get this over with..." And so, you did. But the further away you got, the worse it all felt. You felt your vision starting to get blurry although you could barely see anything.
You paused as your vision began to get used to the darkness.
At the end of the corridor, what you could shape out like a human figure was standing there. Seemingly the same one you barely saw before.
This time, it didn't seem to go away.
You were also alone.
Unable to breathe.
You don't know when it started, but you were unable to breathe properly. You choked, trying to regain yourself from the feeling.
Your neck feeling tight, your stomach hurting at the sudden feeling.
Putting your hands on your neck, you coulnd't feel anything that would make you feel this way. You started to get worried.
You felt as if you were being choked. You tried to scream, but all that you could spat out from your lips was a soft, quiet, 'help'.
Trying to turn around and walk back, you saw the figure again and got scared, falling towards the floor. You coughed for air, sucking back as much as you could but being unable to.
Leaving the camera behind, you tried to crawl back to where you came from, but the lack of circulation on your body failed you as you coulnd't handle it anymore.
Your body falling on the floor, the camera seemingly recording your movements come to a halt.
Your eyes closing, leaving you unconscious.
It didn't take long before Sam and Colby got back to the lobby. Waiting for you, something seemed off.
They knew the corridor wasn't as long as theirs. You should've been the first one out by that logic. They've been waiting long enough and they were starting to get worried.
Even though the concept of the challenge was to be alone in the darkness, the idea of you being in trouble was too much to bare.
Heck, even if you were pranking them, the anxiety of you not coming back on time was driving them insane, they were ready for a scare if it had to come to that.
But the scare they were expecting wasn't the one they got.
Minutes of walking and calling out your name came to a stop when they saw you on the floor.
Hurriedly, they ran towards you and fell to the floor, yelling out your name. "This isn't funny, Y/n!" Sam yelled, moving your body, only to notice how cold you felt. His heart sank.
"Y/n, come on!" Colby said, putting himself on the other side, looking at Sam. The color from his face was gone when he felt her body. Colby, worried, touched your body and understood why he looked that way. "Oh, fuck. Fuck!"
Throwing the camera to the side, Colby quickly checked your pulse. "Sam. Call 911. This is serious." You still had a pulse, but you weren't breathing. First thing that came to his mind was CPR.
While Sam began to call, Colby was trying as hard as he could to help out. He began doing mouth to mouth, trying to bring some oxygen back to your lungs.
Tears streaming down both of their faces. Colby started making compressions to your chest, while Sam was talking to the 911 dispatcher and using the flashlight to illuminate Colby.
Luckily, they weren't too late. You began to cough and moved to the side to spit out some saliva. You breathed heavily and both of the guys sighed in relief.
As you tried to catch your breath, they softly held you up in place while your color came back to you. You blinked a couple of times, adjusting your view to your surroundings.
When you looked at them, they hugged you tight. "Fuck..." Sam whispered. "Let's get the fuck out of here right now." He held you softly and helped you out, as Colby grabbed all of the cameras.
It was hard for you to walk. It felt as if a ton of weight was keeping you from even standing up. It felt as if your limbs went numb, the lack of oxygen probably acting up.
Sam noticed, and didn't hesitate on holding you up and putting you on his back so that you could rest. They began walking as fast as they could, reassuring you that you will be fine.
You were focused on getting your breath back while listening to them scream at the spirits.
"You are not allowed to follow us home." Listening to Colby talk like this, while taking all of the equipment made you feel light. You started moving your arms and made sure to hold onto Sam, closing your eyes.
"You'll be okay. We're leaving." Sam reassured you, waiting for Colby to grab everything and get out of there in a rush.
After the police arrived and handed you an oxygen mask, you started feeling much better. You had some marks on your neck, like some hands were just squishing the air out of you.
Your body... at first, you could even see your veins pop out of your legs because of your lack of color. The poor circulation that ran through your body for a couple of minutes really drove your body to its limit somehow.
It took you a while to be able to stand on your two feet again, but before the police left you could walk on your own just fine. Sam and Colby however still managed to help you out.
"Let's head back home." Sam whispered to you. You nodded slightly and tried to walk on your own, only to be held up by Colby.
"Don't force yourself right now. You need some rest." He said, taking you back to the car. Your face having a rush of blood because of the gesture.
"I... I can walk."
"Let us do this. Please. It's too much already that you fainted right when we weren't with you." Sam said, looking at you, your heart racing at the look of his blue eyes upon you. You gulped.
"...f..fine." You said, resting your head on Colby's chest, making him smile.

Batman pulled up a world map as soon as the alarm started blaring. There was a red dot centered in Illinois, so that's where the map zoomed in.
"That's Amity Park!" Robin exclaimed.
Batman hummed. "Robin, contact Red Huntress and find out what's going on from her end." The boy nodded and left the room. "Constantine, Zatanna, figure out what's going on."
"Already on it, Batsy!" Constantine called in English before going back to his now four alternating conversations in Esperanto and Latin. Zatanna didn't even acknowledge the order.
"Everyone else," he continued as though he hadn't been interrupted, "set up a perimeter a few miles out from the town. Keep it in your line of vision, but don't get too close." He turned to look directly at The Flash. "I want you to run recon. Make sure this is the only place they're coming from. Once we find out their goal, that's what you'll be looking for."
"Aren't they looking for a child?" The Flash asked. He was ignored.
The heroes emptied the room swiftly, quick to ZETA as close as they could to the town before setting up a perimeter ten miles out. Close enough to see the town, but not close enough to cause any panic.
It was nearly twenty-five minutes later before Constantine and Zatanna joined them all. Though, they were both quick to make it known that the town was wholly aware that they were there.
Constantine went to join the hero's block-in, though he didn't stay in one place. He moved from hero to hero, keeping both eyes and one ear on Amity Park. If it was going to move, he would be aware of it only seconds before it did. He needed to be ready.
Zatanna pulled five of the American based heroes away from their posts to explain what she knew. It was barely any better than a recap from the meeting that they had vacated.
"Like we tried to explain earlier, they're looking for a child that the US Government took from them."
"The one from the pictures right?" Aquaman said, "Phantom??"
Zatanna nodded. "Yep. He's the town vigilante; Operating for several months longer than Red Huntress. From what Deadman told me and Constantine, Phantom is a baby ghost; he's only been dead for about a year." She ignored the various reactions. "He's also favored by several Ancient Beings."
"'Ancient Begins'?" Superman asked.
"Think Primordials,"
"Oh, dear," Wonder Woman muttered.
The magician continued, "Don't attack any of the R̶͎͔̿̅ḛ̴̗̦̯̭͇̰̎͑a̸̻̜̤̼͕͔̘̱̫̓ĺ̴͉̘̥͚̪̹́̈́͋̓͜m̶̬͇̅͑͌ṣ̷̨̺̜̣̮͔̤͕̃̍́͂ denizens under any circumstances. They're already going to be hostile towards us, we don't need to give them another reason to be."
"A bit late for that, don't ya think?" A new voice called, startling the heroes into falling into defensive stances.
It took several seconds to find the source. When they did, Batman asked, "Who are you?"
The being, female in appearance, was above and slightly to the left of the group. She looked to be in her late teens with teal-grey skin, a slight teal glow, and flaming teal hair tied in a high pony, bangs framing her face. Her eyes glowed the same radioactive green as Phantom's had in the picture, though less so. She was wearing black pants, a black crop-top, grey knee boots, and a single black elbow glove. There was a guitar strapped to her back that gave off a slight purple glow. Even from where the Justice League heroes were standing, they could feel heat radiating off of her.
"It doesn't matter who I am, does it?" the girl sneered down at them, "What matters is that you dickheads took on of ours, and we intend to get him back." She very obviously assessed the group, not hiding her distaste. "Phantom told me this world had other heroes." She lowered slightly, crossing her arms over her chest. "Where were you."
"Excuse me?" Green Lantern asked.
"Where were you?" she reiterated.
"I'm not quite sure what you mean."
"You're talking about the threats here, right?" Zatanna asked.
The being turned her full attention to the magician. "You knew?"
Zatanna nodded. "My colleagues and I have been keeping an eye on Amity Park since the rifts opened up last year."
The girl's eyes narrowed and she nodded at the five heroes. "These your colleagues?"
"Technically."
"I don't much like technicalities," she hummed. "You must be the one Deadman told us about."
"You know Deadman?" Green Lantern asked. He was ignored.
"Yeah?" Zatanna nodded.
"I'm Ember," she said after a moment, touching down in front of Zatanna. "Deadman convinced the Council to hold in Amity Park until the end of the day. The second the sun goes down, we act on our own."
"I'm Zatanna," she shook her hand, "We're going to find him."
Ember glared, her grip tightening. "You better. He's done more for your world than any of you could ever acknowledge." She turned her glare on the five heroes before flying back up. "And once he's back with us, where he belongs, we'll think about calling a ceasefire." She left before another word could be said.
Zatanna fell into a crouch, her hands covering her face. "This is a nightmare," she whispered before popping back to her full height. "That could've gone better."
"It also could've gone worse." Aquaman tried to console. It didnt work.
"Well, you heard her, we have less than twelve hours to find the kid before the R̶͎͔̿̅ḛ̴̗̦̯̭͇̰̎͑a̸̻̜̤̼͕͔̘̱̫̓ĺ̴͉̘̥͚̪̹́̈́͋̓͜m̶̬͇̅͑͌ṣ̷̨̺̜̣̮͔̤͕̃̍́ denizens set themselves loose."
The group shared a loo, quickly moving to pass on the word to everyone else. Off to the side, Superman was relaying to The Flash.
***
Barry had worked on time limits before. Hel, he was usually pretty good at meeting them ever since he got his powers! What he wasn't great at was working under huge amounts of pressure.
He had to cover the entire United States in less than twelve hours. Easy, done. Adding on every out-of-country US Base around the world? Slightly less easy, but still very doable. Looking for a child in what was probably a secret, undocumented, or at least heavily covered, US Base is a bit harder, especially undetected.
Normally, the Justice League would have no problems with making their opinions on matters known, but this was a delicate matter. Even more delicate than the Metahuman Rights Act and Diplomatic Missions to other worlds. This was an issue they'd not been previously aware of, and the dimension that it most affected was now very close to decaring war.
No pressure.
He'd already cleared all of the known Government Bases along the East Coast and was steadily moving inland. Superman, upon Zatanna's and Constantine's advisement, was being productive away from Amity Park. With The Flash covering the US and Superman literally everywhere else, they had hopes of finding the child within the next few hours. The problems were going to start anew after that.
Batman was already working on several extraction plans based off of the blueprints for every US Gov. Base he has access to- don't ask. But, without knowing the actual building's layout, guard posts, shifts, security, whereabouts, etc., no one could make a concrete plan.
There were too many unknowns and it was upsetting everyone.
Robin had managed to get ahold of both his team, readying them for evacuation, and Red Huntress. Apparently, there was nothing she could do. She'd tried to capture the ghosts - as she'd called them - but they'd quickly overwhelmed her. Everyone was locked in their homes until further notice. Luckily, the ghosts seemed content to them the humans alone as long as they stayed out of the way.
There was now five hours until the sun set in Illinois, and Barry had only just cleared the Midwest.
Nothing. Not a single hint as to where they were keeping this child! They had the two fastest heroes out looking for him, the had pictures of what he looked like! By all means, they should have found him already! And yet, they were still empty handed.
The people of Amity Park were getting restless. The ghosts that had taken over Amity Park were getting restless. The Justice League were getting restless.
Constantine and Zatanna had declared that the town would likely not be moving any time soon, not that anyone even knew what the meant. They'd still be keeping an eye and ear on the town, but it no longer had most of their focus. Instead, they were trying to get ahold of Deadman with little success. If they didn't reach them soon, one of them would have to go into the town proper and talk to the ghosts. No one was very excited for that.
Minutes before the sunset in Illinois, Robin received an emergency call from Red Huntress. One that everyone was patched into.
A boy was missing from his house. Daniel Fenton, son of the town's resident Ghost Hunters, hadn't been accounted for.
The sun set over Amity Park Illinois.

“You look so beautiful tonight” Paige expressed her admiration for you, her eyes roaming across your features relentlessly, it became like a second nature to her, no matter where you two were.
As for tonight, the Washington Spirts Soccer game was one of the many side quests you two had planned together. If there was ANY women’s sporting event occurring within a 30-mile radius, you could bet money you two would be in attendance.
“Mmm.. so what about all the other nights?” you teased, knowing you’d be amused by her reaction, you just loved to egg her on.
She clicked her tongue at your antics, “You look beautiful every night baby, but you already knew that” her tone low and soft eyeing your facial expression.
“Ewww! Can you guys stop being so cringey and watch the game” Drew groaned dramatically, moving over 2 seats away from the two of you. He never failed to make you laugh even though he was being so serious, he was definitely a 2.0 version of Paige.
“Just relax and eat the popcorn you begged me for”, she side-eyed him playfully
“Now you’re just dragging it, I can’t wait until Azzi gets here” shaking his head shamelessly, fixing his pride hat in the process.
“She’s not gonna save you Drew” you laughed, reaching over to flip the top of his hat inside out. You loved messing with him every chance you got, over the past few months, he’s become one of your greatest little sick kicks. “Eh she might, y’know she has her favorite children, too bad you’re not one of them” she shrugged.
“Not too much on Drew!” you snapped, mushing her face into your hands. “Guys! stop you’re on the big screen, look!”
Both of your eyes jolted upwards, only to meet eyes with the jumbotron zooming in on the two of you. The stadium erupted with loud cheers and applause that shook the seats.
“They left out Drew” she muttered through her cinematic smile, waving at the screen.
Without a 2nd thought, you pulled Drew back to his designated seat next to you, he cheesed at the screen with delight
“Yeah that’s definitely getting posted on Tiktok, guess you’ll have more to add to your collection hm?” a familiar voice rang from behind you. “Azzi! finally, I was getting tourtered out here” Drew said exasperated, pulling her down into a tig hug.
“Wow so now we’re lying for fun” her nose scrunched up in disbelief, “remember those words”
“Gosh what did ya’ll do to him this time?, kiss??” she questioned lingering with sarcasm.
“No! we’d never do that“
“THATS A LIE! I still remember that day I caught you guys outside-“
“Okay anyways!” you intervene, saving yourself the embarrassment of re-living the moment. “There’s a spokesperson heading our way so act like civil human beings”
“I already talked during the Mystic game so I’m clocked out for the day” Azzi sighed, climbing over the row of seats to sit next to Drew “Paige this is all you” tilting her head to the woman who stood near the railings waiting for people to clear the path.
“I don’t even know what to say..” she trailed off, her fingers lightly tapping your forearm trying to gather her thoughts, her social battery had to be low by this point, but she would never turn down an opportunity to speak out at events, a professional yapper in her natural habitat always thrives.
“Come with me” she asserted standing up to her full frame as you remained planted in your seat. There is no way you were going to endure a microphone being shoved in your face for thousands of people to see, being on the big screen was good enough for you.
“What am I supposed to say?!” you said barely above a whisper. Your brain began to rattle with scenarios
“Just stand there and look pretty like you always do” her hands met yours as she gently peeled you from your seat.
“Don’t forget to make eye contact, it gets em everytime” Azzi winked, you chuckled at her antics, she was so effortlessly charming, although she’d never admit it.
“Make sure you remind her to blink, sometimes she forgets” Drew laughs, popcorn spilling from the bucket he soon forgets he was supposed to be holding.
Paige swung her arm across his lap, sending the popcorn flying across the stands. “Make sure you clean up your mess, sometimes you forget” she grits. You gasped trying your best not to bring any more attention to the scene unfolding. Pulling her away from the seats you made your way to the spokeswoman.
What a fun way to spend your Saturday night, and to think it was only the beginning.

Shot Through The Heart II
Alexia Putellas x Archer!Reader
Summary: The story of your love
Tumblr media
A camera pans down from the treeline to focus on an unassuming house on an unassuming street in an unassuming part of Barcelona. It zooms in to the front door, swinging open and investigates the hallway - passing by a collection of family photos, a World Cup medal framed along with a bow and arrow mounted above a doorway.
It turns sharply to the left to an open plan lounge that borders a kitchen.
An interviewer is sitting in an armchair facing you and Alexia, snuggled on the sofa.
"You caused quite a stir," The interviewer says," When you both posted on Instagram. I guess my first question is, how did it begin?"
Alexia chuckles. "We shared a garden. It was one of those old gardens where the end of it shared a fence with the neighbour behind you. I kicked my football over it."
"And I shot it, pinned it to the fence and everything."
"I climbed that same fence to get it back. And we just stared at each other. Then, I burst into tears."
●~●~●~●~
The girl who just climbed over your fence stared at you.
You stared back, brows pulled together in confusion.
Her mouth opened and closed a few times before she pointed an accusing finger at you. "What did you do to my ball?!"
You pointed to where your arrow had pinned it to the fence. "I shot it." You put your hands on your hips. "You shouldn't kick balls over my fence if you don't want them shot!"
The girl burst into tears, sobbing hysterically and you jolted in shock. You glanced back at your house in worry before you frantically unpinned the ball from the fence.
"Sorry! Sorry!" You said, holding the ball out to her," Stop crying! Look! Here! Take your stupid ball!" You threw it at her.
She caught it, turning it over in her hand as it began to very slightly deflate. She pointed at your bow. "What's that?"
"It's my bow," You replied, before puffing out your chest," I'm an archer."
"I'm a footballer."
"Cool."
"You bow's kind of cool too."
"I'm y/n."
"Alexia."
●~●~●~●~
"So not the best first meeting," The interviewer jokes.
You shake you head. "Not the best but we ended up getting on after that. Our Papas had to knock down the fence and replace it with a door so we didn't have to keep climbing to see each other."
"I think your dad still has the scar," Alexia replies and you roll your eyes.
"It all worked out though. We attended the same schools, sat together in class, ate together at lunch. We walked home together too."
"And was it difficult to find time to hang out together while you were both training?"
Alexia thinks back to it and shakes her head. "We would walk home together after school and our mamas would take it in turns to drive each of us to practice."
"La Masia was closer so Alexia always got out first but I finished earlier so we would get driven back home with each other too."
"Sometimes we'd have sleepovers."
The interviewer smiles. "And when did your romantic relationship start?"
"We were sixteen. Alexia asked me."
●~●~●~●~
Alexia was late. You weren't entirely sure why but she was. You glanced at the clock, tapping your foot impatiently. You couldn't stay long, you had a competition that your Papa was taking you to - you had gotten the rest of the day off school.
The canteen was filling up with students and you glanced at the clock again. You sighed, checking your phone. No messages from Alexia.
It wasn't like her to ghost you like this but you just assumed she had been asked to stay back after class.
You shouldered your bag, ready to make your way to reception to sign out and wait for your father to pull up, when a body crashed into yours.
Alexia curled around you, head in your neck. You felt her grinning.
"You're late," You informed her," I have to get going."
She retreated from your embrace, lacing your fingers together and walked with you to reception. She waited as you signed out and joined you outside when you went for your Papa to arrive.
You could feel her staring at your side profile, not looking away.
"What?"
"You're so pretty."
You rolled your eyes. "You're pretty too, Alexia."
She shook her head in annoyance as if trying to gather her thoughts. Her mouth opened and closed repeatedly. "Date me."
●~●~●~●~
The interviewer laughs. "So, not much of a question then."
You laugh too. "I knew what she meant. It was a no brainer to say yes."
"I wanted to take her to the movies," Alexia says," But my Mama told me that if I wanted to go, I had to take Alba so we just ended up in the park."
"We spent hours there, though," You continue," And we ended up at this cute little café that we always go back to. It was run by this cute old couple that had been together for years. They're gone now but their son took over."
"We used to sit there all the time and do our homework when we didn't have practice. He watched us grow up. We get free doughnuts when we go there now."
Your hands draw circles on Alexia's arms as you hum, watching the interviewer lap up all the information.
"And, obviously, Alexia you ended up at Barca but y/n...You went to South Korea?"
You laugh at her shock. "Yeah, Korea's pretty damned good at archery. In fact, my trainer when I was younger came from there originally so he recommended I head over. I mean, I've trained all around the world for archery but the Koreans are dedicated. They're extremely good and I'm honoured that I got the chance to try and keep up with them."
"And how did the long distance work? Was it difficult?"
●~●~●~●~
Alexia's offseason never lasts really long. Between club duties and country duties, she was always on the pitch.
Your schedule was a bit more lenient, allowing you to train anywhere you wanted although you mainly stayed in Korea. You flew to France a few times a year, a brief two-month stay in the US, a couple of weeks in Spain and then back to Korea again.
It was rare that she had this kind of time off so, there you were, waiting at Incheon airport for the love of your life to get through the doors.
She crashed into you as soon as she spotted you. You held her tight, nose buried into her hair as you breathed her in.
"I missed you, amor," She said.
"Not as much as I missed you," You replied.
You pulled back, taking her cheeks in your hands and pulling her in for a long, sweet kiss - trying to put all of your longing and love into it.
"I missed you," You said again as you took Alexia's hand in your own while your other grabbed her bags.
You brought her back to your apartment, dumping the suitcase in the lounge before turning to look at Alexia. It wasn't the first time she had been in your apartment but she still marvelled over it like it was.
Her hands ghosted over the pictures of her mantelpiece - particularly the one with you and her at school, grinning at the camera like two crazy people. Your bow leaned up against the tv and a medal hung from a hook attached to a magnet on your fridge.
"I watched this competition," She said as she poked the medal," I couldn't understand anything the commentators were saying but you looked really good in your uniform."
You sent her a lopsided smile. "You think I looked good?"
"Hmm." She sauntered over, her hands coming to rest in your back pockets. "Very good. Made me a little upset that I wasn't there to congratulate you." She raised a brow and your throat bobbed.
"Well..." You said, glancing at the clock - you had a reservation at your favourite barbeque place soon," You scored a fantastic goal last week. I...I think I'd like to congratulate you too."
Alexia gave you a wolfish smile. "Good..." She turned around. "Bedroom still in the same place?"
●~●~●~●~
"We made it work," Alexia says.
"I earned a lot of air miles," You boast," I'm still cashing them in." You grin lazily. "Our trip to Greece was bought off those miles."
Alexia rolls her eyes. "She'll tell anyone who listens about that but it's true. We spent a lot of time flying out to see each other whenever we could. I think we saw each other more than we saw our parents."
You laugh, resting your head on Alexia's shoulder. "I think I once told my parents not to fly out to see me because you were already on the plane."
"And, obviously, one of you proposed. How did that happen?"
"I proposed."
●~●~●~●~
It was a beautiful night. Not too hot. Not too cold. You'd made sure of it, comparing the weather forecast for days before selecting the one you wanted.
You took her out on a walk. You bought her lunch.
Every time she smiled at you, your heart fluttered and you had to look away. You wanted to spring the question each time but you had planned this. You didn't want to ruin it.
"Not that I'm complaining," Alexia said as she followed you onto the balcony of the fancy hotel room you had rented," But what gives? Was there something special today? Something I've forgotten about?"
"Can't I just do something nice for you?"
"You've been doing a lot of nice things. A walk. Lunch. A shopping spree. Dinner and now a hotel room. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you were trying to seduce me."
You grinned at her. "Is it working?"
"You don't need to seduce me," She said," I don't keep you around for just the sex."
You scoff in jest, a dramatic hand on your heart. "But you keep me around partly for the sex? Alexia!"
She laughed, shaking her head. "You know I keep you around because I love you."
"I should hope so," You said. Your hand dipped into your pocket and dropped to one knee. "Because otherwise, this would be really embarrassing."
●~●~●~●~
"We got married within the month," Alexia says," We eloped. I don't even think we told our parents we even got engaged."
"Your Mama grabbed me by the ear and yelled at me for hours," You laugh, rubbing your ear in phantom pain," I think she thought that I could have stopped you from dragging me to that courthouse."
"I..." Alexia's face glows red as she speaks. "I just didn't want to wait. In all honesty, for us, it already felt like we were married, we'd been together for so many years that getting the marriage certificate signed seemed like just the final checkbox. I didn't need a big wedding or anything. We love each other. What more needed to be done?"
"Her mother still holds it against me."
"Mama is being dramatic." Alexia rolls her eyes. "She got to hold her little party for us."
"We snuck a way for that too," You say to the interviewer," For someone that didn't want a wedding, she was very eager to get to the honeymoon."
"We bought that on her air miles too."
Everyone in the room laughs at that.
"So, childhood sweethearts," The interviewer summarises.
"Childhood sweethearts," You confirm. Alexia moves a bit closer to you, leaning her head on your shoulder after pressing a soft kiss to your cheek.
"And, now you're living together in Barcelona. Is it a big adjustment after so many years of long distance?"
"It's a good adjustment," Alexia says," It feels good to finally be in the same place as each other, permanently."
"She likes that I get the groceries," You joke.
"Oh, yes," She says with a grin," It's what I keep her around for."
You stick your tongue out.
So does she.

hi hello !!
could you write an ushijima x reader: where reader is a known sports interviewer and she interviews ushijima after every game - but he slowly falls in love with her every time and then finally after winning a big game he looks into the camera and announces that they're engaged.
(P.S. your write so beautifully) 💕
Ushijima Wakatoshi was never one for unnecessary words, and it was part of what made him one of the most focused and driven volleyball players on the court. Every game, he led his team to victory with an intensity that was both admirable and intimidating. And every game, there was you—the sharp, insightful interviewer who always managed to draw a few words from him, even when he would rather let his actions speak.
You’d been interviewing Ushijima after his games for nearly a year now. The first time, it had been just another job, and you had approached him like any other player: professional, polite, and to the point. But as time went on, there was something about the quiet determination in his eyes and the way he answered your questions with careful precision that intrigued you. It became a sort of ritual—after every match, you’d wait for him by the sidelines, microphone in hand, and he’d offer his succinct answers to your probing questions.
At first, Ushijima found your presence just part of the routine. But soon, he started looking forward to it. The way you listened so intently, the slight smile that tugged at your lips when he gave a particularly dry response—it was subtle, but he noticed. Your energy was a stark contrast to his stoic nature, but there was something comforting in it.
You never pushed too hard, never forced him to say more than he wanted to, but your questions were thoughtful, and you always showed genuine interest. Over time, he realized he was lingering in the interviews longer than necessary, his normally curt answers becoming just a bit more detailed, just for you.
Today was a huge game. Ushijima had led his team to the national finals, and the stadium was electric with excitement. The moment the final whistle blew, signaling their victory, the crowd erupted in cheers. As usual, you waited at the edge of the court, microphone ready, watching as Ushijima and his team celebrated.
When he finally walked over to you, his expression was serious, as always, but there was something different in his eyes—an intensity that made your heart skip a beat. You were about to start your routine questions, but before you could even speak, he took the microphone from your hand.
The camera zoomed in on him, and for a moment, the world seemed to hold its breath.
"I’ve been doing these interviews for a long time now," Ushijima began, his deep voice reverberating through the stadium. "But today is different."
You blinked in confusion, not understanding what was happening. He wasn't supposed to deviate from the usual script. You glanced around nervously, wondering if you should say something, but Ushijima’s gaze was locked onto the camera, focused and determined as always.
He took a step closer to you, his large frame towering over you as he spoke, "For months, I’ve come to these interviews and answered every question. But there's one question no one has asked yet. And I think it's time to answer it."
The crowd had fallen silent, sensing something monumental was about to happen. Your heart was racing, unsure of what he meant. He turned to look at you, and for the first time, there was something warm and tender in his usually stoic expression.
“I’m not just here to play volleyball,” he said softly, his eyes locked on yours. “I’m here because… I’ve fallen in love.”
The words hit you like a spike to the chest, knocking the air out of your lungs. You stared at him, wide-eyed, trying to process what he was saying. The crowd was buzzing with whispers, but Ushijima ignored it all.
Without breaking eye contact, he lifted the microphone again. "And I want the world to know… we’re engaged."
The stadium erupted in gasps and cheers, the cameras zooming in on your shocked expression. You felt heat rush to your face, your heart pounding in your ears. You hadn’t expected this—how could you have? He had never shown any signs, at least not that you had noticed.
Ushijima gently took your hand, and the weight of the situation finally sank in. This wasn’t some spur-of-the-moment declaration. He had been planning this. You looked up at him, your voice barely a whisper as you managed to speak, “Are you serious…?”
He nodded, the corners of his lips curling ever so slightly into a rare, soft smile. “I’ve been serious about you for a long time.”
The crowd’s cheers grew louder, but all you could focus on was the warmth of his hand in yours and the intensity of his gaze. You weren’t sure how it had come to this, but standing there in front of thousands of people, with Ushijima Wakatoshi announcing your engagement to the world… it felt right.
Later, after the initial shock wore off and the cameras had stopped rolling, you stood together in the quiet hallway outside the locker room. It was just the two of you now, and everything felt a little more real.
“You really planned this?” you asked, still trying to wrap your head around what had happened.
He nodded, his usual serious expression softening as he looked at you. “I didn’t want to wait any longer. I’ve been thinking about it for a while.”
You smiled, shaking your head in disbelief. “I can’t believe you kept that a secret.”
Ushijima shrugged, his hand still holding yours. “I didn’t see a reason to tell anyone until now.”
There was something so undeniably Ushijima about that statement, and you couldn’t help but laugh. “Well, I guess I’m engaged now,” you teased, glancing down at your hand where an imaginary ring would one day sit.
“Engaged,” he repeated, as if testing the word out himself. His serious demeanor cracked just a little as he added, “And I don’t plan on losing you. Ever.”
In that moment, you realized that this wasn’t just some spontaneous declaration—Ushijima had fallen for you, slowly and steadily, the same way he approached everything in his life. And now, standing there with him, you couldn’t imagine it any other way.
Requests are open. Send as many as you like.

Carmy x Silly TikTok Trends
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
You guys - I just saw that trend of girls running away from their BF’s screaming on tik tok after challenging them to a race and I know Carmy A) if you challenged him to ANYTHING he’s falling for it & saying he’s gonna win, and B) Feel so gullible and embarrassed when he realized what was going on. Please, it was too funny not to imagine so let me share what I saw in my mind's eye. (Forgive me if this is stupid or cringe being either isn’t a CRIME OK?!)
So of course you’d see this trend online somewhere or another & Carmy didn’t because the man is chronically OFFline, so when you’re walking out of a restaurant after a date one day & you turn to him being like - “Bear, I bet I could totally beat you if we raced to the car right now, wanna try?” he would smile cockily and chuckle, because let's be honest the man is fit- Carmy looks like he has a runner's body with slight weight lifting, so I wouldn’t doubt that he's a cardio king. He would be like “No- No way babe, I’d smoke you- even with a head start” and he's all confident and cocky. So you take your phone out and giggle, sliding your camera open “Really? Can I record it just so I can show everyone I beat you?” and he chuckles and nods and is like “Yup- I’ll even give you 3 seconds head start” as you start recording and you’re like  “Hey guys! So I just told Carm I could beat him on the way to the car in a race- he says I can’t so were gonna see” with a big smile in the camera knowing your plans and he’s like “Babe- I’ll fucking smoke your ass. No doubt,  ready I’ll give you your three seconds-” he said and you took off jogging nonchelantly knowing what you had in store “Is that all you got?” he asked as he took off sprinting after you, you laughed as you took a deep breath and start screaming “HE’S CHASING MEEEEEEE!!!!! HELP!! HELP MEEE!! HE’S GONNA KILL ME!!!” You picked up your speed, sprinting as fast as you possibly could towards your car while keeping his shocked face in frame with his arms spread out in the what the fuck are you doing!! - way, that always made you crack up. He stops dead in his tracks, jaw dropping at your cheating antics and he starts cracking up, shaking his head as a few strangers heads turn, knowing you were just fucking around when you stop and turn the camera zooming in on him when you got to the car, laughing amusedly “I wonnnn!” you said happily and he jogged over, squeezing your hip and kissing you as you ended the recording. “If the cops come pounding down the door cause they think i’m kidnappin’ you you’ll get to explain that you like to fuck around like that in public” he spanked you playfully as he unlocked the car, opening the door to take you both home.

Sandman Sneak Peek Analysis
There is Brief Lives in this, but you’ll miss it if you blink…
Is everyone recovering? 🤣
So we obviously got our fill of thirst traps, but I wanted to analyse the sneak peek (click to watch) a bit more closely.
Many people were commenting they only see Season of Mists and Song of Orpheus in the clip, but I don’t think that’s true. We obviously don’t know what exactly they did to the arcs and what might have changed, but I still predict that the first batch will be Season of Mists and Brief Lives (with other stuff thrown in, I wrote about it here). [I think we also saw a clip from Thermidor in the sneak peek, and that Lady Johanna Constantine was in it, but that just as an aside.]
So let’s start with stills I think are definitely from
Brief Lives
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I honestly think it’s this (they’re lighting his face from below for a campfire effect, there are candles etc):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Edit 22/09:
We sleuthed a bit more across several platforms, and some clever people pointed out this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These two frames appear in different places of the sneak peak, so we can’t know for certain if they are from the same scene. It is possible though. And if they are: He is wearing his ruby on the one to the left. It’s hard to tell if it’s the same thing to the right, but it could be? If so, that would mean this could be from Song of Orpheus instead of Brief Lives.
Tumblr media
He does wear a clasp in Brief Lives all the way through, so that’s also possible, but again: If these shots are from the same scene, which it honestly looks like, I’m now leaning towards Song of Orpheus, and this particular scene (there’s a fire there, too):
Tumblr media
Plus, if you zoom in and squint really hard, he seems to be wearing something on his shoulder here, too:
Tumblr media
What else?
Tumblr media
We see Despair’s Realm. But we don’t in Season of Mists. So this is either Brief Lives, or they give us a bit of Three Septembers and a January (which I’d love tbh, but I’m not going to hold my breath).
Next:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think this could be Ruby’s/Wanda’s death/the fire. It’s really hard to see, but that could be Indya Moore sleeping? Let me know what you think…
Then this one:
Tumblr media
I bet my bottom dollar this is Suffragette City and Ishtar’s dance. Now, the bottom panel is a tricky one because in the sneak peek, it’s actually right after the shot of (presumed) Wanda, so my initial response was it’s the fire. But the curtains look exactly the same as in the one with Ishtar’s dance, plus I think the glass is also in both shots. Which makes me think they either just put those scenes randomly together in the clip despite them being separate, OR that they changed the arc a bit and pulled Wanda/Ruby and Ishtar’s dance together. Either way, we’re definitely in Brief Lives I think.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Over to…
Season of Mists
Tumblr media
I cackled like a lunatic when I saw this. IYKYK, but I somehow didn’t expect them to give us that one. Hurray (or not, depending on whether you like spiders I guess 🤣)
Angels looking modern…
Tumblr media
Shame really, I wouldn’t have minded a more comics accurate look, but hey. Also: Is that your man Edward, @marlowe-zara ? Hard to tell from this angle, but I think it could be?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
That’s also Andre Flynn in the background (also an Angel then).
Shivering Jemmy with the balloon! 🎈 If she doesn’t dump it on Dream, I’m gonna riot!
Tumblr media
These ones with Lucienne are hard to place, and they could be anything, but they somehow give me stronger Season of Mists than Brief Lives vibes, although both is possible.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I have a hunch it’s this one:
Tumblr media
Then there’s naturally all the obvious stuff (Cluracan, Susano-o-No-Mikoto, the family dinner etc etc), but I don’t think I have to get into those because they jump out at us straightaway.
More in the realm of
Casting
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I think that might be Ella Rumpf as Eurydice, @tickldpnk8 What do you think?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is definitely Wil Coban, but who he? Fae (the ears suggest so much)?
So what’s everyone thinking?

An Animalistic Disaster
Summery:You find yourself in a bit of a tight spot...
Masterlist
CH-13: A small problem arises
Tumblr media
Charlie's scream brought Vaggie and Pentious in the room as they stood there agape as well.
'What's with all the ruckus around here?' Alastor said as he stepped inside the cabin again for the second time. 'Niffty's human again!' Pentious answered from your door looking back at Alastor.
Alastor quickly peeked into the room over Vaggie's shoulder.
Indeed there was Niffty, who now had much more humane appearance being held by you. She had short light brown hair with red hues which were all damp and wet. On top of her milkish white skin was a pair of light yellow eyes blinking at you, not knowing what just happened while holding onto your shoulder.
She also had her old maid uniform on. But there was a tiny hole behind her dress where a small dog tail was poking out and she had a pair of dog ears as well. Despite her small frame, she was still an adult. But you kept holding her up like she weighted nothing.
After your eyes adjusted finally you slowly opened your eyes. "Niffty..?" You choked out. You were surprised to find yourself holding onto a human, well almost a human girl instead of the cute puppy of a few seconds ago.
"Oh my god Niffty you became human too!" Charlie sequeled as she ran over to you both. As she was talking about Niffty's new look to her you felt water droplets fall on your chest. Looking down you realised you may have been holding Niffty for quite a while and water from her hair was falling on you. You decided to put her down as others came to examine Niffty's new form.
"Niffty you have dog ears! How cute!" Charlie squealed as she leaned down to her level. Alastor came close to Niffty, taking in her new form.
'Niffty, dear, tell me exactly what you were doing before you turned into this. Spare no details' Alastor quickly inquired as soon as he stepped inside the room.
"Let the girl breathe Alastor. She just turned human, let her get used to her form first" Vaggie stepped in front of her.
"Niffty you feel any different?" You asked crouching down to her height.
"No I don't think so? But I can clean properly now! There are some spots I couldn't reach as a dog. I'm coming for those now!" She ended with a creepy laugh as she sprinted to finally clean with proper stuffs.
You nervously laughed looking at her. "At least she's making the best of her form" you stood up.
'Sooo, Charlie ...' Angel began to speak .
'As of so far about turning into human, the timing is from when you come here right?'
"Seems like it for now yeah! Why?" Charlie asked turning to face the spider. Meanwhile you grabbed a new loose t-shirt and shorts and went to take a quick shower in the bathroom.
'That means I'm next right? Haha, fuck yeah! Can't wait to finally get out of this shitty spider body!' Angel said celebrating by himself.
'Hold on that means I'm last! Fucking great..' Cherri looked the exact opposite of Angel dust.
'Heh don't worry toots, I'll personally carry you around when I become human again.'
'oh fuck off'
When you came out of the shower, you were faced with Niffty literally zooming from place to place with a duster and big ass needle, that gods knows where she found from, cleaning your place up. You could appreciate her enthusiasm. At least you don't have to worry about cleaning your cabin any longer.
"Hey (Y/n), could we borrow some of your clothes?" Vaggie asked standing beside you. "Me and Charlie wanted to take a shower if you don't mind but we don't really have other cloths..."
"Oh yes please go ahead!" You quickly reassured her. "Choose whichever you'd like, please. Most of my clothes are kinda oversized since they're most comfortable to wear. But I have some tight fitted ones of my own size too. You should be able to find the ones that fit you "
"Thank you, we'll go pick some out then" Vaggie smiled at you as she went to fetch Charlie and get the cloths. You went outside at your balcony as you sipped on
some coffee and scrolled through twitter.
"They're gonna sell trading cards now?" You were wide eyed looking at the video that the Hazbin hotel twitter account just posted. "There's keychains and literal key too!! Ahhh I want it! I want it so bad!"
But your wallet was practically crying. If you were to buy those right now, it might be hard to even last the week. Especially since there are three new people in the house. Your next paycheck should come after this week was over.
There was another thing to consider, if all of the cast turned human, you might not have enough money to feed all of them. Something needs to be done so at least you all don't starve. So it was a bit of a problem.
You headed back inside so you could call for a meeting. You found Charlie and Vaggie drying their hair in your room. Vaggie wore a oversized hoodie of yours with shorts and Charlie wore one of your dresses. Your heart practically swooned at the sight of them wearing your cloths. Was this the reason people in relationship steal each others cloths so much?
You explained the situation to Vaggie who quickly gathered the other animals and Niffty. You sat on your bed and explained your concerns. Vaggie volunteered to translate for the animals.
"We really need to find a way to make more money. My salary might be enough to somehow feed three to four people at best. But not about eight of you"
'What if we attacked drunks and perverts in the streets and took their money? We would be keeping the streets clean AND get the money we need' Alastor suggested.
"Are you fucking nuts? No way we're doing that!" Vaggie screamed.
"Wait what did he say?" You asked confused looking at both of them.
"Oh he said if we could kill people and take their money" Niffty answered for you while swinging her feet from the bed.
"What the- noo!" This time you screamed looking at Alastor. "Can you not about think anything except hurting others?"
'You are the one who asked us for our suggestion'
'What if you guys become stripper's instead? It pays good money~'
"I don't think I'd be comfortable with that Angel..." Charlie nervously laughed.
After a lot more talking and presenting ideas and erasing them, Pentious finally spoke up.
'What if Charlie and Vaggie gets a job here?'
Vaggie translated it for you. "Job huh..that might be the best but where could you guys work around here without any papers.." you mumbled by yourself. "Not to mention Charlie's horns and Vaggie's antenna's on the head."
"Oh oh I could make something at home with my sewing if you'd like! Then we can go sell it!" Niffty chipped in.
'And I could create new gadgetsss when I become human! No doubt people will go crazy with the inventionss made by the great Sir Pentiousss!'
You smiled after you heard Niffty and Vaggie translated Pentious's words. "Yes that could work as well. Nice thinking both of you"
"As for the rest of you, we'll decide once you become human. For now we'll focus on getting Charlie or Vaggie to work so the load lessens a bit.  Though it'll be hard finding a place that doesn't require any paperworks or something.."
You scratched your chin, deep in thought. Suddenly you remembered about a certain someone.
"I think I know just who to call for a little help to get through. But I really would rather not call her without an emergency." You sighed.
"Oh who is it (Y/n)?" Charlie asked with curiosity.
"My cousin, Melody." You said looking at the phone. "It's been some time since I last talked with her." You said sadly.
'Do you have an issue going on that girl or something?' Husk asked from the chair he was sitting and Niffty translated it for you.
"No no, not at all. It's the opposite in fact. I see her as my little sister and we basically grew up together "
"Then what's the matter?" Vaggie was confused with you answer. "Why didn't you call her all this time?"
"Her parents hate me. So I try not to call her as much so she doesn't get in any trouble. But I think a call is long overdue by now" you dialed up the number and exhaled trying to prepare yourself. "I'll be right back after the call" You said while moving out to the balcony and calling her.
'Why would anyone hate someone so sssweet as her?' Pentious said as he looked at all of them.
"I know right? She has been taking care of us all these time and she's practically an angel!" Charlie exclaimed.
'Now now Charlie, don't go jumping to conclusions just yet. We haven't seen all of her. Who knows what she's hiding in her past.' Alastor said with a grin. 'There must be some reason for this'
'Even though I hate to admit it, this fucker might be right. Don't get all high horse about her now. We barely know her properly.' Husk looked away and lied down on the chair and curled up facing away from everyone.
"Let's not all get hasty. We should wait for her to come back and hear from her what happened" Vaggie tried to stay neutral about all these as she looked in the direction of the balcony.
Melody didn't pick up the first call. But she picked the second. With your heart pounding you asked softly first like you always do.
"Hey is this a good time?"
This was to ensure your aunt, uncle or her dreaded brother weren't nearby to stir up trouble for Melody. You smiled when she said yes in a overjoyed tone.
"Yes it is! Skylar got in trouble for drinking last night and mom and dad's letting him have it. They won't be here for some time. And why haven't you called all this time?? I missed you!"
You smiled gently hearing she still misses you. And it looked like her brother was being a pain in the ass as usual.
"Isn't that guy like 15 or something? Anyway, I'm sorry for not calling you Mel, I was afraid of getting you in trouble.. "
"Girl stop worrying about me! I'll handle them one way or another. But I suppose you had a reason for calling me now hm?"
You felt guilt travelling through your entire body to reconsider your decision to ask her for help.
"Yes I actually did..but let me hear about how your life's been so far! Tell me all the gossips!"
"Hm,sure then. There was this guy...."
Melody talked about a guy she has a crush on, how her parents are overpressuring her with their expectations to a new shitty series she just started watching. You both laughed and joked just like old times. It was almost enough to make you forget about the whole deal.
"And the story's so fucking boring too like god you won't believe! Bitch at least have interesting characters! Oh and anyways what was the thing you wanted to talk to me about?"
"I was hoping you could lend me some money... I'm kinda in a tight spot recently after I bought the new cabin. I'll repay you don't worry -" you got cut off from her answering.
"Shut up, not a another word from you! Take as much as you need and don't worry about paying!"
"But-"
"No buts!" Melody's voice became a bit softer. "You never really ask me for anything. You're always the one helping me out since we were little. Let me have this at least (Y/n)"
"Alright...and who says you don't do anything?" You said with small smile creeping on your face.
After a bit more talking you told her a decent amount of money that you needed in case of emergency. You made sure to not ask more then you might need. After a few seconds of cutting the call, you got a notification saying the money has been transferred.
You went back inside with a smile on your face. "I got the money guys! We don't need to worry about starving for now." You happily announced at the lot.
"That's great to hear! Also (Y/n) some of us was a little curious about what you said before, of your aunt's and uncle not liking you.." Charlie said looking at Alastor and Husk especially.
"Oh yeah about that......" You sighed. You were unsure on how to present the story to them.
"So when I was six.."
A.N: This was a rather mild chap but it needed to be done to get rid of some questions people might have in future.
Also I'm making their human apparences based on their ethnicity and fanart I find online and add my own little twist there. So everything might not be entirely accurate.
Which show you guys think Melody was watching? 🤔🤔

How could you not know?
tenth doctor x GN!reader
Summary: In which an alien fortune teller lets your feelings for the Doctor slip
Tumblr media
“5027, the outskirts of Alpha Centauri,” The Doctor explained, landing the TARDIS with a flourish. The ship retaliated with a shake making you wobble a bit in a desperate attempt to not fall over. Sometimes you wondered if the Doctor actually did know what he was doing when it came to the TARDIS. He claimed she was a finicky ship, but you had your suspicions regarding his flying abilities.
Once you had regained your footing you exchanged a childish grin with the Time Lord, both of you excited for your next adventure. Without warning, you bounded excitedly out of the ship, anxious to see what was on the other side.
The sky instantly caught your attention, its purple hue so different from anything you’d seen before. Multiple moons littered the skyline, and cars zoomed through the air above your head. The grass was soft and emitted a faintly sweet aroma. You turned your face to the sky, allowing the light rain to fall on you. With an over joyous giggle you looked back at the Doctor “It’s fantastic!”
He smiled at you lovingly from the TARDIS’ doorway, leaning on the frame slightly. He loved seeing you like this.
“Allons-y?” He asked, more a question than an exclamation. You nodded enthusiastically and held your hand out for him. He locked the door before running to your side, slipping your hand into his.
“By now you lot have spread yourselves across the galaxy,” The Doctor explained, “Mingled with aliens and traveled amongst the stars.”
You watched the Doctor as he talked, completely smitten with his knowledge and passion regarding the vast universe. He talked about it with such passion and enthusiasm, that you had no choice but to listen intently.
“Planets like this sort of turn into a melting pot,” He continued, “you can find just about any species here,” He looked down at you with a smile. “The center of the city is a big ‘ol market of sorts. You can get goods and foods from all around the galaxy,” He explained.
“Kind of like an alien farmers market?” You asked with a laugh.
“Sort of,” He shrugged, “you’ll see.”
After a short walk, you had found yourselves in the aforementioned city center. The Doctor wasn’t joking when he called it a big market. For as long as you could see there were rows and rows of vendors selling everything from oddly colored fruits to exotic fibers, and everything in between. It was almost too much, all of the sights, smells, and textures hitting you at once.
Much to the Doctor’s dismay, you asked to stop at every single booth. It was your first space market, and you wanted to see everything. After all, there was so very much to see.
“Where do we even start?” You breathed, still trying to take it all in. As much as you wanted to run wild, the Doctor was the expert here.
The Doctor scanned the area quickly before leading you to a wooden booth selling what appeared to be bread. Surely the Doctor hadn’t taken you to an alien planet for bread? You were almost certain he was aware of the numerous kinds of bread on Earth.
The Doctor paid for two small loaves and handed one to you.
“Did you really just buy bread?” You laughed, looking at the food in your hands.
“Just try it,” The Doctor grinned.
You examined the loaf, finding it to be more of a pastry than a simple loaf of bread. Deciding it was safe enough you bit into it warily. A slightly sour taste assaulted you, catching you off guard. You pulled the bread away to examine the bright pink jelly that filled it.
“What is this?” You asked the Doctor wide-eyed.
“Neo-fruit,” he smiled, taking a large bite out of his own. “Like it?” He asked, mouth half full. You nodded and took another bite, letting the combination of sweet and sour melt on your tongue. The Doctor finished his treat quickly,  but you savored yours as the two of you walked along.
At some point you found yourself stuck at a small booth displaying beautiful scarves. Their silky smooth texture had initially drawn your attention, but the longer you looked at them the more interesting they became. In your hands, you held a scarf the same blue as the TARDIS, with lighter-colored swirls and small yellow dots littered throughout. You must have been holding it for a while because the Doctor noticed.
“You like it?” He asked, pulling you from your thoughts.
“Reminds me of the TARDIS,” You smiled. The Doctor nodded and pulled a few coins from his jacket pocket before handing them to the vendor.
“It’s yours,” He smiled back.
“I- um. Thank you.”
“May I?” He asked, gesturing to the scarf. You nodded quickly, handing it over to him. He ran his fingers through the fabric, unraveling the scarf, before wrapping it gently around you. The action felt so shockingly intimate you couldn’t help but turn a bright scarlet. The Doctor, per usual, had become too distracted to notice. He ran off, leaving you starstruck in his absence.
By the time that you caught back up to the Doctor, he already had two pints of steaming liquid in his hands. He shoved one into your own hands before clinking your glasses together. You stared at the drink, shocked.
“Hot chocolate,” He explained before taking a gulp of his. Foam from the top stuck to his upper lip. You smiled and sipped your own drink, getting the foam on the tip of your nose. Without a second thought, the Doctor used his thumb to wipe it off, the simple touch sending shivers down your spine.
Always in motion, the Doctor kept making his way through the market as you enjoyed your drinks.
You loved spending time with the Doctor like this, taking and laughing while you held hands. His hand always seemed to find its way into yours, almost as if he was scared he might lose you amongst the chaos that followed him.
By the time you had walked through all of the booths, both you and the Doctor were carrying small purchases and laughing comfortably. You decided to loop back through the market on the way to the TARDIS. You walked hand in hand, taking in all of the sights around you.
Your eyes caught on a small booth you hadn’t noticed before. The setup was akin to a fortune teller’s booth. You tugged on the Doctor’s sleeve, excited to see what an alien fortune teller looked like.
You slipped your way through the drapery and into the booth. Inside was a beautiful alien. Her skin was an iridescent white with large ears poking out of her long, silky hair. As your eyes settled on her face, you instantly became aware of her eyes - or lack thereof.
“Greetings!” She hummed, gesturing to the seat before her.
You looked at the Doctor, warry of the stunning creature before you. He nodded, and you took a seat before her. She grasped your hands lightly with her own, her touch feather-light.
After a few moments of silence, she spoke up.
“You love him.”
You cast a wayward glance back at the Doctor, panic coursing through you.
“Yeah,” you laughed, “he’s my best mate.”
“No,” she continued, “you truly love him.”
You stammered, not knowing how to react.
“He’s just a friend,” you smiled painfully. It was true, that’s all the Doctor was.
“But you want more,” she said plainly. You were almost certain if she had eyes they would be baring into your soul.
You looked back at the Doctor, panicked, but he was already walking out of the booth. You pulled your hands from the aliens and dashed after him.
You caught up to him quickly, but he didn’t seem to fully register your presence. The walk back to the TARDIS was silent. The Doctor didn’t seem to have anything to say, and you were too scared to speak up. Was he angry? Your greatest fears settled around you like a very uncomfortable blanket. This was it, the Doctor was finally done with you. All because of one stupid alien.
The Doctor unlocked the ship silently and made his way straight to the console, busying himself with flicking switches and pressing buttons.
You peeled your coat off slowly before draping it over the railing. Absentmindedly your hands went to the scarf around your neck, pulling at the threads anxiously.
“I don’t know what she was talking about,” You laughed, though it wasn’t very convincing.
“No?” The Doctor asked calmly, looking you in the eye. His gaze was so heavy it was almost impossible to look away.
“Really, honestly!” You said, trying to hide your voice crack. The Doctor pulled his eyes away from you and back to the console in front of him. Anxiety built within you again. When the Doctor never responded you spoke up again, “Please say something.”
The Doctor turned his attention back to you, his usually expressive eyes impossible to read.
“Please.” You whispered, pulling at your new scarf desperately.
“You really are oblivious,” He said, pulling his eyes from yours.
“W-what?” You stammered.
“After all this time you still don’t know?” He asked, shoving himself off of the console and walking over to you. “You don’t realize just how hard I’ve fallen for you?”
“Me? Are you sure? Out of the whole universe you fell for me?”
The Doctor laughed brightly, “How could I not?” He asked, his hands ghosting on the sides of your body. You looked up at him, finally seeing all of the love hidden within his honey eyes. You crushed yourself for never noticing it before.
“You’re the most magnificent person I’ve ever met,” he whispered.
Tired of waiting, the Doctor wrapped his arms around you with a newfound urgency. His lips connected with yours, sending all kinds of sparks down your body. You quickly relaxed into the kiss, allowing your arms to drape over his shoulders.
He pulled away briefly, wanting to make sure this was what you wanted. He didn’t even get to open his mouth before you cut him off, a more desperate kiss erupting from you. The Doctor was more than happy to oblige, his arms wrapping even tighter around you. One of his hands moved upwards to cup your face delicately, his thumb rubbing circles into your skin. When you finally pulled away, gasping for air, the Doctor grinned at you.
“Can we do more of that?” You asked, breathlessly.

Niki Lauda and James Hunt — Friday 18th July 1975 Silverstone - Practice Runs for the Grand Prix
ATV Sports Reporter Gary Newbon interviews championship leader, Niki Lauda from Austria and Britain's James Hunt, about the race and the new car they will soon be driving. In 1975 James Hunt was driving for Hesketh Racing and Lauda was driving for Scuderia Ferrari.
In the race, Niki Lauda would hold fourth place off the start, but soon a heavy shower brought a flurry of tyre changes. A wheel had not been fastened when Niki was released and fell off within 20 meters, resulting in a scramble to reattach it. He stopped again a lap later for it to be tightened properly, and rejoined a lap down.
As the track dried, he showed blistering speed: four seconds a lap faster than the rest, but then came another deluge and the field was decimated by a series of aquaplaning shunts and the race red-flagged. The official results announced shortly afterwards were based on a count-back lap, which meant that Niki was classified eighth despite being third across the line. Ferrari protested, but without result.
James hunt would make it to the final lap without major incident, before retiring along with many other drivers. His final position: fourth, was unaffected.
A miserable race for the both of them, all in all.

Clipped and Cropped • Colour Corrected • Removed Colour Cast • Upscaled with Artemis • Denoised • Sharpened and Enhanced • Recovered Original Detail • Added Noise and Film Grain • 60fps Frame Interpolation • Edited Gamma and Exposure • Stabilised • Audio Cleaned • Manual Cleaning of Degraded Film
• While the lower logo is a lost cause, I had a real good go at cleaning up the upper logo. Despite it being easy to remove in James' zoom sections, where it hovered and moved over the banner made the erasure too disruptive and time intensive to clean up in whole.
• I did all the film cleaning manually, therefore it's very likely I missed out on some damage. I got all the major stuff though.
• At the beginning, for god knows what reason, the upscaler has a hissy fit and throws up coloured blocks. Incredibly annoying, but I couldn't find a way to fix it.
• The video is dark at the start due to cloud cover, and it's more noticeable without the colour cast, there's better lighting by the end.
• There's much more to the original video: cars practising at the track, a later interview by Niki in 1977, and a separate one of James the same year. I cut those, so I could focus on this interview, and because the film degradation of the practice runs is noticeably severe. But, if people are interested, I'm very happy to also tidy those.
• I'm here nor there on the cleaned up audio. I wish there was an easy software where I could more manually tune it.
• I snipped off like a second of the end because the degradation got so bad it was easier just to cut it since James had finished talking by that point anyway.
Despite all this, please enjoy.

Goodbye
"Have a good summer Pollix! See you in September Zyz! Have fun in the Lakes of Nebula Ezshi!"
Today was the last day of the youngling centre and the first day of summer vacation. Although according to the Captain and his second in command it's the Galactic Solar Solstice. But Kim and Max preferred to call it summer.
Both humans walked around the centre saying goodbye and farewell to the younglings. Many of whom gave hugs or small gifts as a sign of thanks or respect in their respective culture and planet.
All but two children who stood away from the others. Looking not as happy as the others.
"Hey. Look." Max nudged his friend to the two kids.
"Ah...Sam and Dan." together the two walked towards them.
.
"Where's Kim and Max?"
"They're over there."
"What are they doing?"
"I think they're checking on Sam and Dan."
"Why?"
"I don't know."
"Look they're hugging. Maybe they're just sad that we won't see them for a long time."
"Probably. Lets play!"
..
"Teacher?"
"Yes Emira?"
"Why did you hug Sam and Danny longer than any of us?"
"Oh...because this is probably the last time I'll see them."
"Why??"
"Sam and Dan are leaving. They're going to a new school. One that's on Earth and we live in different parts of Earth so this is probably the last I'll see them."
"But your only supposed to have one teacher! They can't just leave!"
"Humans are different. We don't have one teacher all our school life. We have different teachers and can change schools."
"Even if you really like your teacher?"
"Even if you really like your teacher."
"Even if you really like your friends and classmates?"
"Even if you really like your friends and classmates. It's not always easy."
They stand in silence. Emira's feathers ruffling as she thinks.
"That must be sad." she finally says.
"It is. Sam and Dan tried to convince us to go work at the new school they'll be going to. They were pretty sad today too but we told them to remember the good memories we have-"
"No I mean for teachers."
"..."
"I know they were the first ones here. They love you a lot, Danny even called you both Mom and Dad before. And I know you both love them."
"...Your quite observant Emira. You know what that means?"
"I'm good at noticing things."
"Yeah. I don't have siblings like Kim and I'm actually not that much older than Sam. I'm the same age as their oldest brother...and to be honest they sometimes felt like my younger brothers."
"So you're going to miss them a lot?"
"Yes. Kim has done this before but this is my first time. Kinda sucks that its with kids I've known for over 3 years..."
"Do you want a hug?"
He nodded and the little avian hugged him.
...
"Max!"
"Hey Kim."
"I got something for you."
"Thanks...but my birthday isn't till next week?"
"Not from me, from Sam and Dan." she handed him the wrapped up gift.
He slowly opened it. It was light, like a feather, and was the size of a picture frame. It was a black screen.
"What is it?"
"Tap the screen."
He did and the screen lit up. Dozens of holographic pictures shot out from it. Most were from class field trips and events but were zoomed in on him and the two brothers. Some he doesn't remember Kim taking but he remembers the time the place.
"I got one too. It started out as a gift for the boys so they could remember us but then they and their parents wanted to return the favor so they made an extra two for us. Some of these are from the parents." she explained smiling at the biggest picture of the boys holding a sign saying 'Thank you for the memories, love Samuel and Daniel'
"..."
"I know I don't show it but I'm gonna miss them too. It does get easier with each time but you never stop missing the kid. Remember the kid I told you about, Penny?"
"The girl who gave you 3 stitches?"
"She was my first goodbye. She was at the preschool I first started at. Sweet, kind, a little ankle biter, but I really liked her. I had known her for 3 years when she left."
"...I'm really gonna miss them." he sighs, slumping towards his friend. She holds him in a side hug.
"I know buddy, me too...me too" they looked at the pictures in silence and if one of them let a tear fall then that was nobodies business but their own.

SUMMARY: You and Dean Winchester are the top agents from Major Crimes. You’re also assigned as partners on the same case- a crime syndicate is running loose and buying out most of downtown New York. He hates you cause you hate him. You hate him cause you think he got in his position with his daddy’s influence. But this case is personal to one of you more than the other- and you may be getting too personal for comfort.
TW: Agent Dean Winchester (yes, he’s a warning in itself), mention of murder, murder, Knights of Hell but they’re just murderous humans, description of injuries, use of firearms, a mole in the FBI, Azazel, Asmodeus, crime syndicates, (slightly), pressure, it’s a Kevin and Jo episode guys

THREE WEEKS AGO:
The dimly lit operations room was filled with the hum of computer monitors and the soft clatter of keyboard strokes. Kevin and Jo, both were hunched over a desk, their eyes glued to the footage playing on the screen in front of them. The grainy video showed the supposed death of Cain, a case that had puzzled them for days.
Kevin paused the video, leaning back in his chair and rubbing his eyes. "Something about this just doesn't add up," he said, his voice tinged with frustration. "We've watched this footage a dozen times, and it still feels off."
Jo nodded, her brow furrowed in concentration. "Yeah, I know what you mean. There’s something... staged about it. But I can’t quite put my finger on it.”
Kevin replayed the segment where Cain was supposedly killed, focusing on the details. "Look at the way he falls. It's too clean. No struggle, no desperation. It's almost like he knew what was coming."
Jo leaned closer, scrutinizing the screen. "You’re right. And check out the angle of the camera. It’s positioned perfectly to capture the whole scene. Almost like it was set up deliberately."
Kevin's fingers flew across the keyboard, enhancing the footage and zooming in on Cain's face. "See that? He’s looking right at the camera. That’s not a look of fear; it’s... calculated."
Jo's eyes widened. "He’s playing to the audience. He wanted us to see this."
Kevin nodded, a sense of excitement building in his chest. "Exactly. But why? What’s his endgame?"
Jo frowned, leaning back in her chair. "Maybe he wanted us to think he was dead. Take the heat off him, so he could operate from the shadows."
Kevin paused the footage at the moment of Cain's supposed death. "That would explain a lot. But it also means we’ve been chasing a ghost. Cain's out there somewhere, and we’ve got no idea what he’s planning."
Jo ran a hand through her hair, her mind racing. "We need to look at this from a different angle. If Cain wanted us to think he was dead, he must have a reason. Something big."
Kevin started pulling up files on Cain, scanning through his known associates and recent activities. "Cain's always been a step ahead. If he's faked his death, he’s probably planning something major. We need to figure out what that is before it’s too late."
Jo nodded, determination hardening her features. "Right. But first, we need to confirm our theory. Let’s see if there’s any evidence that supports the idea that Cain is still alive."
Kevin brought up a series of reports, focusing on unusual activities that could be linked to Cain. "Look at this. A string of unexplained deaths in the last month. All of them have Cain’s signature—decapitation with a single clean cut."
Jo’s eyes widened. "That’s his calling card. He’s definitely still active. We need to alert the higher-ups."
Kevin hesitated, a frown crossing his face. "Wait. If we go straight to them without solid proof, they might not take us seriously. We need more than just a hunch."
Jo nodded, her jaw set. "You’re right. We need to gather enough evidence to make our case airtight. Let’s start with the footage. There’s got to be something we missed."
Kevin replayed the footage, slowing it down frame by frame. "Look here," he said, pointing to a shadow in the background. "There’s someone else in the room. They’re just out of sight, but you can see their reflection in the window."
Jo squinted at the screen, her heart racing. "That’s it. Cain had an accomplice. Someone who helped him stage his death."
Kevin enhanced the image, revealing the faint outline of a figure. "If we can identify this person, we might be able to track them down and get to Cain."
Tumblr media
TWO WEEKS AGO:
The sun was just beginning to set as Kevin and Jo arrived at the scene of the latest decapitation. The crime scene was an abandoned warehouse on the outskirts of town, eerily quiet and shrouded in shadows. They parked their car a safe distance away and approached on foot, their flashlights cutting through the growing darkness.
Kevin’s heart raced as they reached the entrance. He glanced at Jo, who nodded in silent agreement. They needed to be cautious; if Cain was on a revenge mission, there was no telling what they might find.
They slipped inside the warehouse, the scent of decay and stale air assaulting their senses. The beam of Kevin’s flashlight fell on the chalk outline of a body and a pool of dried blood. He knelt down, inspecting the scene with a critical eye.
“Looks like the usual M.O.,” Kevin murmured, his voice barely above a whisper. “Clean cut, no signs of a struggle.”
Jo scanned the area, her flashlight revealing the remnants of a violent encounter. “Yeah, but something feels different. This doesn’t seem random. Cain’s targeting someone specific.”
Kevin stood up, dusting off his hands. “Let’s look around. Maybe we can find something that ties this to Cain.”
They moved methodically through the warehouse, searching for clues. It wasn’t long before Jo’s flashlight caught something glinting in the shadows. She moved closer, crouching down to inspect it.
“Kevin, over here,” she called softly.
Kevin joined her, and together they examined the object. It was a medallion, intricately carved with symbols that Kevin recognized immediately.
“This is a syndicate insignia,” he said, his eyes widening. “Whoever this was, they were part of the syndicate.”
Jo’s eyes narrowed in thought. “So Cain’s not just killing randomly. He’s targeting members of the syndicate. But why?”
Kevin turned the medallion over in his hands, his mind racing. “Revenge. Cain’s on a revenge mission.”
Jo frowned. “Revenge for what?”
Kevin’s face grew grim as he pieced it together. “For the death of his wife, Collette, and his brother Abel.”
Jo’s eyes widened in realization. “Of course. Cain’s been harboring a grudge for centuries. The syndicate must have been involved in their deaths.”
Kevin nodded. “It makes sense. Cain’s always been driven by a sense of justice, twisted as it may be. If the syndicate had a hand in Collette’s and Abel’s deaths, he’d stop at nothing to make them pay.”
Jo stood up, her expression determined. “We need to find out more about this victim. If we can identify them, we might be able to connect the dots and figure out who Cain’s next target will be.”
Kevin agreed, pocketing the medallion. They continued their search, hoping to uncover more clues that would shed light on the identity of the latest victim. As they moved deeper into the warehouse, Kevin’s flashlight caught a glimpse of a piece of paper pinned to the wall.
“Jo, over here,” he called, moving towards the paper.
Jo joined him, and they examined the paper together. It was a list of names, each one crossed out except for the last two. Kevin recognized a few of the names immediately—prominent members of the syndicate who had been killed in recent weeks.
“This is a hit list,” Jo said, her voice barely above a whisper. “These are Cain’s targets.”
Kevin nodded, his heart pounding. “And it looks like he’s almost done. We need to warn the remaining targets before it’s too late.”
Jo took out her phone, quickly dialing the number of their superior. “We need to get this information to Sam and the others. They need to know what we’ve found.”
Kevin scanned the list, noting the names and locations of the remaining targets. He quickly pulled out his phone, dialling Sam.
He answered on the second ring. ‘Hey, Kevin. What’s up?’
Kevin took a deep breath, steadying himself. "Sam, we’ve got a situation. It’s about Cain."
There was a pause on the other end before Sam’s voice came through, cautious and curious. ‘Cain? I thought he was dead.’
"Yeah, that’s what we all thought," Kevin replied, glancing at Jo for support. "But we’ve got evidence that he’s still alive. And it’s worse than we expected—he’s on a revenge mission."
‘Revenge?’ Sam’s tone shifted, growing more serious. ‘For what?’
Kevin explained quickly, summarizing the events of the past few hours. "We’ve been investigating a series of decapitations, and we found out that all the victims were part of the syndicate. Cain’s been targeting them because he believes they were involved in the deaths of his wife, Collette, and his brother, Abel."
There was another pause as Sam processed the information. ‘That explains a lot. But if Cain’s alive and out for revenge, that means we’re dealing with a Knight of Hell who’s hell-bent on destruction.’
"Exactly," Kevin said. "We’ve already secured the remaining targets on his hit list, but we need to find Cain and stop him before he kills anyone else."
Jo stepped closer to Kevin, speaking up. "Sam, we’ve got a lead on his location. An abandoned farmhouse on the outskirts of town. We’re gearing up to head there now."
Sam’s voice was firm, filled with determination. ‘I’m on my way. Don’t do anything until I get there. We need to handle this carefully.’

ONE WEEK AGO:
The evening sky was a wash of fading orange and deepening purple, casting long shadows that seemed to pulse with the tension of the impending confrontation. Sam led the charge, his expression grim and focused.
And hoping his hair wouldn’t fall in his face.
The intel Kevin and Jo had uncovered suggested that this dilapidated farmhouse was Cain’s hideout. After weeks of relentless investigation and countless dead ends, they were finally closing in on the man responsible for a series of brutal murders, each victim a former member of a notorious criminal syndicate. Cain’s revenge was nearly complete, and they knew they were running out of time.
Sam motioned for silence as they approached the front door, his eyes scanning the surroundings for any signs of movement. Kevin and Jo flanked him, their weapons drawn and ready. The tension was palpable, each agent acutely aware of the stakes.
Sam took a deep breath, then kicked the door open, the sound echoing through the empty farmhouse. They moved in swiftly, clearing rooms with practiced efficiency. The air was thick with dust and the lingering scent of decay. As they reached the living room, they found Cain seated calmly in an old armchair, a faint smile playing on his lips.
“Looks like you found me,” Cain said, his voice low and steady. “But you’re too late.”
Sam stepped forward, his gun trained on Cain. “Where are the others?”
Cain shook his head, his smile widening. “They’re gone. All of them. My revenge is complete.”
Kevin felt a chill run down his spine. They had been too late. The realization hit him like a punch to the gut. Jo’s eyes were locked onto Cain, her expression a mix of anger and frustration.
“What do you mean, ‘they’re gone’?” Jo demanded, her voice tight with barely restrained fury.
Cain leaned back in his chair, his eyes cold and calculating. “I’ve taken care of everyone responsible for Collette’s death and my brother Abel’s betrayal. Every single one of them.”
Sam tightened his grip on his weapon. “This ends now, Cain. You’re coming with us.”
Cain’s smile faded, replaced by a look of somber resolve. “You think I’m the biggest threat you’re facing? You’re wrong. There’s someone within your own ranks, someone who’s been working against you all along.”
Kevin and Jo exchanged a confused glance. Sam’s eyes narrowed, his jaw tightening. “What are you talking about?”
“There’s a mole in your organization,” Cain said, his voice carrying a weight of certainty. “Someone who’s been feeding information to the syndicate, undermining your every move.”
Jo’s eyes widened in shock. “A mole? Who?”
Cain shrugged, his expression inscrutable. “I don’t know their identity. But I do know they’re close. Closer than you think.”
Kevin felt a knot of dread tighten in his stomach. A mole within the FBI could explain the many setbacks they had faced during the investigation. But who could it be?
Sam took a step closer to Cain, his voice a low growl. “Why should we believe you?”
Cain met Sam’s gaze, unflinching. “Because I have no reason to lie. My revenge is complete. I have nothing left to lose.”
The silence that followed was heavy with tension. Sam exchanged a look with Kevin and Jo, then holstered his weapon. “We’re taking you in, Cain. You’ll have plenty of time to tell us everything you know.”
Cain didn’t resist as Sam and Jo cuffed him, his expression one of resignation. Kevin’s mind was racing, trying to process the implications of what Cain had revealed. If there truly was a mole within the FBI, they needed to find them before more lives were put at risk.
Tumblr media
Back at the FBI headquarters, the atmosphere was charged with a mixture of frustration and determination. Cain was secured in an interrogation room, under constant watch. Sam, Kevin, and Jo convened in a conference room, the gravity of their situation weighing heavily on them.
Sam paced the length of the room, his mind clearly racing. “If Cain’s telling the truth, we have a serious problem. A mole within our ranks could explain why this investigation has been so difficult.”
Kevin nodded, his fingers tapping nervously on the table. “We need to re-examine everyone. Look at their access, their movements, any anomalies in their behavior.”
Jo leaned forward, her eyes sharp with focus. “We’ve already ruled out the usual suspects. We need to think outside the box. Consider people we haven’t scrutinized as closely.”
Sam stopped pacing and turned to face them. “We’ll need to do this quietly. If the mole realizes we’re onto them, they could cause even more damage. Let’s start with access logs and communication records. Anyone who’s had unusual access to sensitive information.”
Kevin pulled out his laptop, quickly accessing the FBI’s internal database. Jo began sifting through recent case files, looking for any discrepancies or unusual patterns.
Tumblr media
FOUR DAYS AGO:
Kevin and Jo sat across from each other in the dimly lit interrogation room, the sterile walls echoing with their frustration. The clock on the wall ticked mercilessly, reminding them of how little time they had left to uncover the mole within the FBI.
Kevin sighed, rubbing his eyes. “We’ve gone through the files a hundred times, Jo. There has to be something we’re missing.”
Jo leaned back in her chair, staring at the ceiling as if the answer might be written there. “I know, Kevin. But everyone we’ve investigated so far checks out. There’s no indication of anyone working against us.”
Kevin flipped through a thick stack of personnel files, each one meticulously marked with notes and red flags. “Let’s go over the interviews again. Maybe we missed a detail.”
Jo pulled out a notebook, the pages filled with hastily scribbled observations. “We’ve already ruled out Sam, Benny, Cas, Meg, and Ruby. They’ve all got alibis and their stories check out.”
Kevin nodded, his mind racing. “But what if the mole is someone we haven’t even considered? Someone under the radar?”
Jo tapped her pen against the table, deep in thought. “Like who? We’ve gone through everyone in our immediate circle.”
Kevin stood up, pacing the room. “Maybe it’s someone who’s not directly involved with us but has access to sensitive information. A support staff member, a janitor, someone who blends in.”
Jo’s eyes widened with realization. “You might be onto something. We need to broaden our scope. Look at everyone who’s had access to classified information, even if they’re not directly involved in our operations.”
Kevin nodded, feeling a spark of hope. “Let’s start with the cleaning crew. They’re here late at night when no one else is around. It’s possible someone could have overheard something or found a way to access our files.”
Jo jotted down a list of names. “Alright, let’s split up and start interviewing them. We need to be thorough.”
They moved with renewed determination, ready to uncover the truth.
Tumblr media
THREE DAYS AGO:
The break room was quiet, the usual hum of chatter replaced by the soft buzz of the vending machine. Kevin and Jo sat at a small table, reviewing the cleaning crew’s schedules and backgrounds.
Kevin sipped his coffee, his eyes scanning the list. “So far, everyone we’ve talked to seems clean. No suspicious behavior, no access to restricted areas. Cleaning crew was a bust.”
Jo nodded, tapping her fingers on the table. “But we need to keep digging. There has to be a connection we’re not seeing.”
Kevin set down his coffee, leaning forward. “Let’s think about motive. Why would someone want to betray us? Money? Blackmail? Ideological reasons?”
Jo frowned, her brow furrowing. “It could be any of those. Or something we haven’t even considered. We need to think outside the box.”
Kevin’s eyes lit up with an idea. “What if it’s not about the usual reasons? What if it’s personal? Someone with a grudge against one of us?”
Jo looked thoughtful. “It’s possible. But who would have a personal vendetta against us?”
Kevin pulled out a piece of paper, jotting down names and potential motives. “Let’s make a list of anyone who’s had conflicts with our team in the past. Even minor disagreements could be a clue.”
Jo grabbed a pen, joining him in the brainstorming session. “Alright, let’s start with recent cases. Anyone we’ve crossed paths with who might hold a grudge.”
They worked in silence, their minds racing as they compiled the list. It was a long shot, but it was the best lead they had.
Tumblr media
TWO DAYS AGO:
The FBI archives were a labyrinth of files and documents, stretching back decades. Kevin and Jo had spent hours sifting through the records, their eyes tired and their bodies aching from the constant strain.
Kevin pulled out another box of files, setting it on the table with a heavy thud. “There has to be something in here. Some connection we’ve overlooked.”
Jo flipped through a stack of papers, her fingers smudged with ink. “We’ve reviewed all the recent cases. Maybe we need to look further back. See if there’s a pattern.”
Kevin nodded, opening the box and pulling out a file. “Let’s start with cases that involved multiple agents. Larger operations where more people were involved.”
They worked in silence, the only sounds the rustling of papers and the occasional murmur of realization. Hours passed as they delved deeper into the archives, their frustration mounting with each dead end.
Jo suddenly looked up, her eyes wide. “Kevin, look at this.”
Kevin leaned over, peering at the file in her hands. It was an old case, one that had involved a large-scale operation against a powerful criminal syndicate. Several agents had been involved, including some who were still with the Bureau.
“This operation was a mess,” Jo said, pointing to the notes in the margin. “Several agents were compromised, and there were allegations of a mole even back then.”
Kevin’s mind raced. “But they never found the mole. What if it’s the same person, still operating within the Bureau?”
Jo nodded, her excitement growing. “It’s possible. We need to cross-reference these agents with the ones currently on our list.”
They worked quickly, their energy renewed by the potential breakthrough. If they could find a connection, they might finally be able to unmask the mole.
Tumblr media
ONE DAY AGO:
The surveillance room was filled with monitors, each displaying different angles of the FBI headquarters. Kevin and Jo watched the screens intently, their eyes scanning for any sign of suspicious activity.
Kevin pointed to one of the screens. “There. That’s Agent Harris. He’s been acting strange lately, always staying late and avoiding eye contact.”
Jo nodded, making a note. “And there’s Agent Parker. She’s been spending a lot of time in the restricted areas, even when she’s not on duty.”
They continued to watch, their suspicions growing with each observation. They had compiled a list of agents who had been involved in the old operation and were now focusing their surveillance on them.
Kevin glanced at Jo, his expression serious. “We need to be careful. If the mole realizes we’re onto them, they might make a move.”
Jo nodded, her eyes never leaving the screens. “We’ll keep watching. Sooner or later, they’ll slip up.”
Hours passed, the tension in the room growing with each passing minute. They monitored every movement, every interaction, hoping for a clue that would lead them to the mole.
Suddenly, Jo’s eyes widened. “Kevin, look at this.”
Kevin leaned forward, his heart pounding. One of the agents on their list was meeting with a known associate of the syndicate— Azazel, no less, their conversation hushed and secretive.
“No way.” She whispered, grabbing her phone and rushing to make a call while Kevin stared wide eyed at the screen.
“That’s it,” Kevin whispered. “We’ve got our mole.”
Tumblr media
NOW:
You felt numb. You felt… you didn’t know how to feel. In fact, your feet were barely carrying you towards the interrogation room, where you met Sam. He gave you a small nod, reassuring in hopes to calm the rising of bile, venom and blind fury that rose in your gut, threatening to boil over, but you shoved it down for the sake of it.
“He’s in there.” Sam nodded through the door, but stopped you before you could go in full guns blazing, pulling you in for a brief hug, his chin on your head. “Keep your cool, ok?”
“I will.” You assured quietly, and made your way in, your blood turning to ice.
There he was, at the interrogation table, cuffed to the desk. Smirk playing at his pouty lips, sandy hair slightly tousled from not having come quietly, red flannel and knowing look on his face. Green eyes following your every move, every slope of your body as you walked, tongue now tracing his upper teeth.
Dean Winchester. Dean was the mole in the FBI.
“Took you long enough, sweetheart.” He chuckled in a gravelly voice, which you ignored, taking the case file from Kevin with a small nod that said ‘well done’ to him and Jo. They’d been working the case while you were out playing a part in some badly written romance movie.
You cleared your throat, looking him in the eye. “So. It’s you. Why didn’t I see what you were doing?”
“I don’t think you were ever that perceptive, eh?” He grinned at you, clasping his hands together. “Ain’t no game that’s worth it if you ain’t the winner, am I right? But I played you good.”
“You sure did.” You replied, being cold about it the best you could. Your arms folded, jaw set and staring him dead in the eye. “But why did you do it?”
He laughed, throwing his head back before he looked back to you with a smirk. He cracked his Cheshire grin and gave you his best cocky-ass smile, one that made him look like the Devil. But there was only one thing worse than the Devil and that was the Devil in lion's clothing. “Because it’s fun.”
“You had sex with me because it was fun?” You frowned, folding your arms. “You wanted to get me this big win, is that what you wanted? Is this your idea of a big win?”
Dean smirked, leaning forward. “It’s my big win, darlin’. I said I’d get you a win, never said who’s.” Then he chuckled. “My patience’s worn thin. Adiós, sweet thing.”
His cuffs dropped from his hands, a Bobby pin clattering to the floor as the officers yelled out in surprise. Before they could react, they were knocked out with a clean few punches, and Dean had tackled you to the floor, the impact of your head hitting stone making your vision go blurry and the corners of it black.
You felt his lips on yours, further kissing what felt like the life out of you before he pulled back, hearing his footsteps disappear into the hallway along with hells and grunts that followed.
Your vision turning black.

heyy so I literally got this kind of idea like not really long ago, how about a donnie x reader fic/scenario/prompt where donnie makes a new AI hologram assistant (the reader) but ends up falling in love with them ?? (kind of blade runner 2049 inspired)
thanks ! luv your work (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ)
一∑ Dizzy・゜・。
Tumblr media
author’s notes: so this may not be exactly what you asked for, this donnie is a bit… cagey? protective? overbearing! but hopefully the ending is a good indication that he did indeed fall?? :D
warnings: fluff, platonic to romantic, cursing, very unedited, & super short >.<
word association: sentience, slight yandere!donnie, light projection, holograms, creation, possessive, obsessive, fluff, change, feelings
song: “ Round & Round by Selena Gomez ”

“Y/n”
Donnie waited for you to appear in his vision as he was glued to a new construct. Both hands busy with small tools that required the utmost care and attention. And patience.
He waited a couple of more seconds before a crease appeared between his draw on brows.
Seriously?
“Y/n!”
Donnie shouted louder. There was no way you couldn’t hear him. He was this close to pushing up his goggles but like magic you apparated in his vision. A tiny version of yourself in the corner of his eyesight, “Yyyessss?”
You drawled, dipping forward dramatically but not obscuring his view of his hands so he could continue his work.
“Where are you?”
Habitually it seemed he had to ask you this. He was like this with Shelldon too. But ever since you started getting curious and venturing out of his lab, he just had to at least check in…
He would have just checked your holo-tracker but his hands were busy at the moment. So calling out your name was more efficient. His wrist tech was voice automated and connected to your system easily enough.
“And why did you ignore my first call?”
He questioned further, eyebrows still drawn. His tongue peeked out between his lips as he carefully pieced together two small bits in the right formation.
“I thought we agreed Donnie. If you didn’t need me, I could explore the perimeters!”
You glitched momentarily, moving from the corner to right in the center of his vision before going back to your original place with a raised brow.
“Yes yes. That was the agreement but addendum six was—“
You groaned.
“Y/n it’s been… how long has it been..?”
He just knew it had to be four or so hours since you last checked in. Which meant he could call! As per agreement! If you didn’t check in then he would worry and a time frame was even added into fine print for this very purpose! Donatello prided himself on thinking of every-little-thing!
“It’s been 30 minutes.”
His eyes widened. Looking at you now and squinting.
No way.
You sighed dramatically as you brought up the time. Sure enough. It was only 2:30 in the morning. Not 5.
“Ah, well my mistake.”
Donnie placed down the tools and pushed up his goggles. The zoomed in version of his project gone, as well as the time and your miniature self.
He could still hear you though with his headphones on.
“You didn’t answer my first question…”
He still wanted to know.
“I think that should be void considering you can just check now!”
Your voice was exasperated but it had a teasing quality.
“I’d rather you tell me,”
“With your brothers!”
“What?!”
No response. “Y/n?” No response still. He grumbled bringing his goggles back down and yep, you were gone. He shoved them back up and shot out of his chair.
Two years ago. Donatello went a step further from robots. A step further from Shelldon, definitely still a very proud achievement of his! You were a hologram program. One that connected just like Shelldon to all of Donatello’s devices and gadgets. But you didn’t have a physical body. You were a pure light so to speak. And while Donnie had agreed for you to explore…he hadn’t really disclosed another sentient being in the lab to his brothers.
Selfishly… Donnie had created you solely for him. While Shelldon had been sort of a prank but definitely for his brothers… you weren’t.
“Y/n.” Shelldon whispered harshly as he peeked out of the doorway from his lab. You were nowhere in the vicinity. He scowled. “If this is supposed to be funny, let me be very clear! It is not!” Then Donnie started to rush with his words while he crept further out into the lair.
“Those dumdums have no idea of your existence Y/n! For all we know they could— I don’t know! Attack?!”
You were radio silent. And it annoyed to Donnie to know end. You were ignoring him on purpose. Dragging him away from work to chase you down. And he would do the dragging this time, right back to his side if he must!
The further he went, the more apprehensive he felt. He could hear music. He could hear hollering. It was not the right cues that said ‘Y/n is just pranking me! They wouldn’t reveal themselves without my go-ahead! Surely!’ Yeah none of that was feeling close to happening right now. Donatello’s teeth ground together as he gave up being stealthy in favor of finally seeing what the fuck was happening.
And boy was he in for a shock.
As he cleared a corner that gave him a full view of the arcade that stretched down a distance away. The DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) was on, bass pumping throughout the room. A beautiful voice beckoning him closer like a siren’s song. Where Raph was dancing on one side. And you on the other.
Donnie stopped short. His breath catching as he watched your hologram dance, when your shoes met the correct arrows your whole body took on a glow of purple, blue, red, and yellow. It reflected throughout your entire being. You hit perfect after perfect, head tipped back in laughter as Raph started to trip up, losing his footing and sweating profusely. You on the other hand would never tire.
You were completely energized. You were having fun! It shined in your eyes. It reminded him of how you were when he first created you. When everything he introduced to you excited you.
Donnie felt like such an ass. Keeping you tucked away from the rest of the lair. From his brothers. From the world! As he watched you now he knew he was going to have to change. Because he surely wasn’t letting you go completely. But maybe he needed to loosen up, him and his contract.
Because he wanted you to be like this more. To smile more. To be exuberant and full of life! And he couldn’t stop smiling as you tilted your head towards him. You didn’t falter, you just smiled brighter and winked as the song came to a close and the points were tallied up.
Of course anything created by Donnie would be extraordinary at dancing. Therefore it didn’t surprise him one bit that you received a maximum score of 10,000,000. What did throw him off guard was the rapid pace of his heart. And maybe a bit dizzy? He hadn’t even been the one dancing!
Yeah this wasn’t good!

Bridgerton S3 Review
Dearest gentle reader, I am disappointed, sadly.
And as I respect your opinion, so too, shall you respect mine. I'm not here to bash on #Polin fans and the fact that they enjoyed it, but what -was- season 3 of Bridgerton truly?
I love the Mondriches, but do they really need so much screen-time? What did their own ball add to the story exactly? Had the same feeling about the Dankworth-Finch ball at the end, but at least that one proved its necessity as -the reveal all- ball. Because there was of course no Duke of Hastings (Simon) to host it, so they improvised.
This season had too many stories going on at the same time which were all fighting for the spotlight when it should've focused on #Polin, cause that is what was advertised/hyped. It did not deliver…
Season 1 - Daphne and Simon They had the most screen-time and all other stories got a little bit of shine. But even then some of those had either Daphne or Simon in the picture/background. (Marina-Colin, with Daphne as chaperone is one of the examples) None of the other stories distracted from the main focus.
Season 2 - Kanthony Same here. While there was a lot going on in this season with Anthony courting Edwina and going all the way to the alter with her (creative license, since it didn't happen in the book) and then on the other hand we were seeing the other side with his having the thickest desire and longing for Kate. You could cut that shit with a knife, I tell you. But no side stories were overpowering. It was 90% lead character -stuff. Season 3 - Benedict---, I mean #Polin -minus the actual #Polin Were their (the directors/screenwriters) initial thoughts that we've been seeing them for 2 seasons, so we don't have to pay that much attention to the leads? Wrong! That was friendship, this is love, longing and passion. So much new ground to explore for these two. Little scenes like dancing in the church, stealing loving glances is cute and all, but we got nothing more than that. Nothing memorable.
No wait, we got carriage frolicking in part 1 and a mirror first time in part 2. You're right, I apologize. Anything else? Name any other thing you remember from this whole season. I'll wait, seriously.
Did maybe the night scene come up in your memories? Where they had an angry make out and he once again let his hand venture below? I felt the anger/passion in the coming together and pushing her against the shop, sure. The quick flash of him reaching between her thighs was more of a recycled scene from episode 4 or even from S03 Kanthony. I mean honestly. Was there really even a chance he'd take her in the streets? It felt unnecessary and forced. The dialogue was good and would've been better at their home where it's believable they could enter an intimate scene that -could- be finished if they so wanted it. Or not if his anger won over his desire. Did I mention they were both drinking before they met? I didn't say drunk, I said drinking.
I guess they improvised the whole Mme Delacroix scene (before the angry make out) with her offering advice and booze just to give Pen a reason to drink and coincidentally be in Colin's path for the scene? Wasted screen-time. Do I also need a drink to feel the -love- this season?
First part, Colin helping and chasing Pen. Second part, let's ignore and distance myself from her. They really stretched out Colin's pulling back from her because of the whole Whistledown thing, when they could've done fast forwards, saying things like 'Colin, it's been weeks. Or it's been so long, can we get passed this' just to show the time frame. But instead we get long minutes of silence and ignoring each other. Filming Colin from the back, zooming in. Then from the front zooming in. Then him watching her leave the house, slowly getting up from sleeping on the sofa, walking towards his desk. Lifting and opening and reading her old letters. Do you have any idea how long that feels? When she exited the bedroom and delivered her dialogue he could've already been behind his desk. Did we see Simon (S01E02) walk into the room, open his father's desk, take out the unopened letters etc.? No, the flashback ends with him already seated and holding the letters. Same thing could've been done here.
Oh, let's not forget side character-stuff. Let's talk more about that.
Again, I cannot stress it enough. Mondriches. Duke of Kent stuff and moving up, is fine. Seeing them struggle constantly onscreen is not. Wasted screen-time. You can easily have us hear about that in conversation. How miserable and sad he is because he had to close the bar when he became part of the ton. So many ways to handle that. Moving to part 2. Why did we have to get the whole preparation for their ball? What did it add to the story exactly? Just let everyone arrive at the ball and let that be the first we all see of the decorations. Did we see Lady Danbury prepare for the huge conservatory ball in S2? Lady Trowbridge's ball in S1? All of Her Majesty's balls? No, so it was wasted screen-time.
Francesca's story was sweet, bless her, but also unnecessary detailed. Was it the autism angle they were trying to push forward? I'm all for it, but only when you have a series with more than 8 episodes. (God, I miss 22 episode series) Because she is still a side character in #Polin's book, no matter which way you turn it. At Francesca's wedding we had the whole vows scene and everything and the two LEADS!!!! were stealing glances at each other while standing behind the whole ass family. You're the leads, act like it! It felt like S1 and S2 with them being in the background.
We all know Bridgerton's known for taking liberties with the wardrobe. The tailored waists for Pen enhance her body beautifully, but Cressida's wardrobe is bordering… scratch that! has taken a 250 MPH free-fall, into ridiculousness. I also absolutely did not care for -seeing- the reasons behind Cressida claiming to be Whistledown. Should've just kept her as a bitch. That's what we enjoyed about her. Fine, you decided on that development for her character, so here's an idea. She was so chummy with Eloise. Could've just had her tell Eloise that she was being pressured by her parents to marry and then being send to the country to live with a horrid aunt. Wasted screen-time. You only have 8 episodes to work with for crying out loud.
And then there's the side character of all side-characters. Benedict. Didn't they make the very -deliberate- decision to push back Benedict and Sophie's story in favor of #Polin as S3? To then give me so much useless Bentilly sexy time; Time that could've easily been given to #Polin things. If you can make up stories about him being confused as to his sexuality, you can just as easily come up with new, none book, stories for the actual leads. Could've left everything they forced on us about Benedict for his actual season. What's gonna be left for his own season? Wasted screen-time. Should've made him absent, continue the art-school in the background, anything. I mean, an extended honeymoon for Kanthony instead of a forced story to have them onscreen. Do the bloody same for Benedict and focus on #Polin. Every time we saw Benedict, he was playing twister with Tilly and later with what's his name (don't even care) It's not relevant, it's wasted screen-time.
I'm gonna end my review (rant!) with one last thing.
Shallow kisses. Heck it's acting, so you don't have to shove your tongue down your co-actor's throat, but keep your lips open and hollow out your mouth to at least make us think you're playing tongue-twister. As soon as their lips touched, they closed their mouths and it became a fervent peck-fest. Like kissing air and practicing in front of a mirror. Yes, they look good kissing each other, but the kissing itself was bleh.
First kiss in part 1 was going the right direction and was pretty believable, but after that… shallow as f*ck. And to think they were supposed to be increasing in passion after that first kiss. All of them were closed-mouth pecks, I'm sorry. Was it the height-difference that didn't allow them to actually suck each other's face off? ---------------
I will not do a TL;DR, because if you skip this review/rant, you will not have missed anything. Have a great day people.
Yours truly, Venin Orchid (aka Lady Regency-nerd) PS: did anyone notice the nice touch at the end? The Whistledown Silhouetted lady on the top of the page had been changed to look more like Penelope. You're welcome <3

it was way past rush hour when hao came to pick you up, he was waiting by his favorite ride, astra, as he scrolled on his phone before you came, calling out to him before you came up to him.
“hi ganda, tired na po?” hao says as he pockets his phone before grabbing your bag from you, placing it on the seat behind him before he lets you wrap your arms around his waist, breathing in his cologne.
you nod as you tighten your arms around his frame, feeling hao do the same before he settled his lips on your shoulder to kiss it.
“inaantok na pero—“ you say before your stomach growls, making hao chuckle as you blushed profusely.
he doesn’t mention it, instead he pulls away from the hug and takes your helmet from his motorcycle before slipping it on your head, safely buckling it in underneath your chin.
hao smiles before he flips the face shield down, taking your hand to lean in to place a soft kiss on the back of your hand, making you chuckle as you shook your head.
“let’s eat muna bago tayo umuwi.” hao says before he helps you hop on the bike, his brain briefly short circuits when he sees that you were wearing thee skirt that gets his brain all mushy.
innocently, you looked at hao who blinked a few times before he too hopped on the bike, securing his own helmet in place before he revved up his bike a few times before he drives off and has dinner with you which has your tummy happy.
nearly an hour and a half later, you two are going on a leisure drive, passing time before you both headed home. sometimes, you both liked to ride together just to spend time with each other, liking how the breeze would feel on your skin all while looking at the city’s landscapes.
but to hao, he liked to hear your giggles and satisfied sighs through the coms in the helmet, speaking to you ever so often. he liked that you enjoyed going on a ride with him despite the nerves rushing through your veins, he loved that you were able to take a quick breather with him.
“saan tayo pupunta, pogi?” you asked as hao kept driving ahead, heading into streets that he recognized.
“no place in mind naman, ganda. may gusto kang puntahan?” hao answers, looking over at you through the side mirrors, meeting eyes with you before you both smile at each other.
you shake your head, “take me wherever you desire, pogi. ikaw bahala.” you replied, trusting hao with wherever he wanted to go.
following your orders, hao just keeps driving, soon heading into the highways where he could rev up his bike before zooming through the highways like a bird in the sky.
you squeal before wrapping your arms tighter around hao’s waist when he picks up the pace.
when the pace is a little too fast, it gets a little too windy, giving you a subtle reminder that you were wearing quite a short skirt. now, your skirt was hiking up your thighs, bits of the fabric scrunched up on your front as you tried to keep it flat on your thighs.
he notices this as he feels you unwrap one arm off of his waist, pushing the skirt down in between your thighs.
hao tries so hard not to make your skirt fly up despite his fast speed, the wind glides through your skirt, you squeeze the front part of your skirt in between your thighs before pulling yourself closer to hao who’s hands tighten on the handlebars.
“babe, ang bilis— my skirt—“ you stuttered as you kept trying to keep the fabric still in between your thighs but despite the attempt to do so, it kept flying up due to the wind and speed that hao kept.
since you had your arms wrapped around hao’s waist, you had no choice but to inch closer towards hao’s back to keep your skirt in between your bodies, trying to avoid flashing those on the other side of the road.
but really, nobody could actually get a peek with how fast hao was going on the highway.
he mentally groans and curses when he feels your front pressing against his back, inching closer towards him innocently without knowing how worked up your boyfriend was getting as he drove.
“wait lang ha? i’m getting off the highway soon.” hao spoke, feeling you nod behind him as you crept closer to his back, now your front was placed right behind hao, separated by his favorite jacket and your top.
true to his words, hao does get off the highway and enters the city, his pace slowly slows down as he drove, making you sigh in relief as you took an arm off of his waist, now able to fix your skirt that was now fully hiked up, giving anyone a peek of your red panties if they were awake during these unholy hours.
“sorry, should’ve given you my jacket pala bago tayo pumunta ng highway.” he says softly before turning into a corner, hearing you hum when he turns into a secluded parking, thee secluded parking lot that you two dirtied up years ago.
hao smoothly parks into one of the darker parts of the parking lot, shutting the engine off once he parks his motorcycle.
unraveling your arms from his waist, hao hops off before taking off his helmet, placing it on the floor by the front of his bike.
hao’s hair is messy by then, he fluffs it up with e hand before he looks over at you taking off your own helmet, handing it over to him despite not knowing why you did so.
“harap ka nga, ganda.” hao says as he inched closer to you, watching as you shuffled in your seat, now letting your legs dangle over one side of the motorcycle as you faced hao who’s hands reached for your exposed thighs, caressing the goose-bumped covered skin from the cold breeze earlier.
“you like teasing me, huh? yung favorite ko pa talaga suot mo e alam mong susunduin kita gamit motor?” hao snickers when you blinked helplessly, not even trying to defend yourself. you liked to look pretty, but you loved it when hao drooled over you especially when you wore skirts around him.
“cat got your tongue, hmm?” he says before he reaches for your wrist, pulling you for you to stumble right on your feet as you hopped off, standing right in front of hao.
“ano? tutuwad ka o tutuwad ka?” hao asks, hand now busy in untying his sweatpants before you quickly turned around, flipping your skirt up and slipping your panties off, leaving it to dangle on your knees before you bent over for hao, forearms flat on his bike’s seat as you turned your head to look at hao who now jerked himself off as he came close to you.
“mag-ingay ka, ha? let it all out, wanna hear who makes you feel good.” hao purrs as he inched closer towards you, cockhead away from your hole by a few inches.
you could feel his head poking your cheeks as he jerked himself off, hearing hao’s grunts as he got himself fully hard for you before he inched closer before he reached and spread your cheeks apart just enough for him to slip right inside of your pussy, making you gasp and drop your head at the feeling of hao filling you up.
your mouth instantly releases breathy moans and calls, hips pushing back to further slip hao’s cock inside of you. your walls immediately pulse around his length, clenching repeatedly around his girth as hao starts to thrust inside of you, cock head hitting right at your spot because of your position.
your body nearly moves out of instinct, you move and rock forward, pulling your pussy off of hao’s cock before pushing your hips back, ass meeting with hao’s pelvis as you sunk back on his cock, repeating it before hao started to thrust into you, picking up the pace nearly immediately.
whilst pounding into you and listening to your loud moans that echoed into the dead of the night, hao’s hand reached down towards your pussy, fingers meeting with your puffy folds that dripped with slick as he kept thrusting into you.
the sound of squelch filled the quiet parking lot along with your moans, sounds of skin slapping were getting louder and louder by the minute because of how worked up hao was being especially with his thrusts and the way he touched you.
his nimble fingers quickly made their way in between your folds, meeting with your swollen clit that begged to be touched. your cries were desperate and loud once hao started rubbing your clit, no longer caring that you were in public as you moaned wantonly.
hao’s fingers are moving expertly against your pussy, pads of his fingers placed atop your clit as he massages them while thrusting, “basang basa ka, babe.” he hums, thrusting into you even faster when you moan as a reply, pussy clenching around his girth as you pushed your hips back, fucking yourself on him as he thrusted.
you continue to bounce on hao’s cock, moaning wantonly as he fucks you even harder, his hips roll even harder against yours as you pull yourself off of his dick before sinking back.
he knew you were slowly going dumb, only a few words were being spewed from your mouth along with his nicknames that you liked to call him.
“baby.. hmm sarap aahh.. bilis pa.” you moaned, picking your head back up as you threw a hand through your hair, brushing it up before hao pulled his entire length out before slamming it all into you, making you yelp before you held onto the sides of the seat.
hao keeps on slamming his cock into you until he fills you up to the brim, reaching deep into you as he grinds his hips against yours.
your pussy drips with slick after every thrust, your slick and hao’s precum dripped out of your pussy and onto your inner thigh, making each sound of skin slapping get even wetter because of how wet your thighs were getting.
by now, your skirt became all wrinkled by the way that hao held it in his hands as he gripped your waist, pulling you closer as he’s pounding your pussy.
sinking your teeth into your bottom lip, all hao could hear was your muffled whines, wet skin slapping against each other, and the squelch in between your legs.
“ano babe? sarap na sarap ka na agad?” hao chuckles when your pussy siezes up around his cock when he spoke, a silent reply to his question.
stilling his hips behind you, hao kept his entire length inside of you as he stopped moving, making you whine as you looked back at hao.
he looks at you with a teasing look on his face, “galaw ka naman, ganda. work for your orgasm too.” hao says, only holding onto your hips with your skirt all crumpled up in between the pads of his fingers.
whining as you took your eyes off of him, you held tightly onto the sides of the seat before moving your hips to pull a bit of his cock out of you before sinking back onto his length, moaning when his entire length is in you again.
hao watches you intently as you start to move and fuck yourself against his cock, walls clenching hardly around his girth as you kept pulling and pushing back to fill you up, to keep you both satisfied.
abruptly, he pulls away from you despite wanting to stay in your pussy before he cums deep inside of you, you cried out to him, whimpering when hao manhandles you. hao turns you around to face him before he held onto your waist, placing you on top of the motorcycle’s seat before making you lie down.
thankfully the seat was wide enough to cover your lower back as you tried to get comfortable before hao held onto your knees before lying the underside of your legs flat against his chest before sliding right inside of you, plunging his cock repeatedly into your pussy as you moaned his name.
“d-da— shit, oh my god.. i can’t—“ you cried, whimpering as you felt hao’s hips piston into yours as he fucked you, tears now streamed down your face as he fucked you harder. your chest heaved with pants as you cried and moaned, feeling your pussy clench around hao’s cock as he pulled out and pushed into you.
“‘m close, ganda.. gonna make you full with my cum, gusto mo ‘yon, ‘di ba? buntisin kita, gusto mo?” hao panted, fingers digging into your skin as he kept your legs flat against his chest.
you whimpered, nodding as you looked up at hao tearfully. “mhm, cum inside— please love, putok mo sa loob!” you cried out to him, feeling hao’s thrusts start to stutter as he plunged into you. his pace started to break once he heard those words coming from you, he always liked to hear that you wanted him to cum in you.
“please please, d-daddy.. sa loob mo putok, hngg ‘m gonna cum!” you whimpered a series of words, no longer knowing what to say first as you felt yourself nearing your orgasm.
you gasp sharply when hao suddenly thrusts hardly into you, his thrusts become merciless as he tries hard to get you cumming. hao keeps sliding his cock into you, head poking right at your spot which has you squirming and moaning his name as your hands reached up and scratched his veiny forearms.
“baby, ‘m close ‘m close..” you warn him as you clenched hardly around him once more, you warned him once more before you shrieked as you felt hao’s thumb rubbing your swollen clit once more, rubbing the swollen nub after each thrust which as your thighs shaking in his grasp.
by the time you start cumming around his cock, hao already has his eyes fixated on your cunt, watching as strands of slick and wetness connected both your cunt and his cock together. each thrust was wet, hao kept pounding your own cum deep inside of you, pussy contracting around his cock as he milked you dry from your orgasm.
he continues to thrust into you, listening to your whimpers after each thrust into your cum-filled cunt, your walls are repeatedly pulsing around his length after your orgasm, cunt practically begging him to dump his cum into you.
“putok ko sa loob, punuin kita ng katas ko— ugh shit babe, pussy so tight..” hao grunts before he curses once more as he pounds into you a few more times before he starts spurting cum into your pussy which gladly takes his cum.
cumming right into you, hao’s chest heaves with pants as he thrusts a few more times into you as he came, pushing yours and his cum deeper into your pussy before he pulled out, watching as a stream of cum dribbled out of your pussy and onto your skirt that lied underneath your ass.
“bili ka nalang ng bago pang skirt, hmm? nadumihan na po ulit.” hao chuckles as he quickly gathers the cum off of your skirt and onto your pussy instead, making you moan out loud once more once his fingers meet your wet and swollen pussy.
“babe naman eh, naka-ilang bili na tayo kaka-dumi mo.” you whined as hao moved in front of you, grabbing a pack of wet wipes from your bag before wiping you clean before doing the same to himself.
he briefly smacks the back of your thigh before snickering, “gustong gusto mo naman pag pinuputok sa loob.” hao says before you whined as you sat up, smacking him in the chest before complaining repeatedly.

I like to think that in a modern au, if Keith had any kind of social media, it would be a little bit like one of those accounts where you go “is this guy just really committed to the bit or is he just Like That?” Like his instagram account would be full of nothing but reels where he sets the phone camera down after staring silently into it, walks far enough away that his whole body is in shot and does like, ten backflips before the video just abruptly ends with him still in motion. Another video where he walks around town with a ton of little throwing knives and it’s just a montage of footage of him lodging them into billboards and signs and other random hard to reach places. A lot of his videos are taken in the dark at indiscernible locations with nothing but the flash too bright and distorting his face, his eyes flashing like a raccoons in the brightness, and those videos are the rare times he speaks in his vids but it’s always something like “if life has to include suffering then how come it’s minor shit. I’d rather be miserable in a big way that is kinda badass then go through one more awkward conversation with a barista.” His most normal videos are of his dog just zooming around (no commentary or caption) and just. Footage of his legs dangling from absurdly high places with beautiful views.
Lance just randomly comes across his account while scrolling through his Instagrams suggested reels and immediately becomes OBSESSED with xxjustkeith.xx4510fu. At first Lance thinks it’s a meme account, some kind of bit but then the more he watches the less sure he is. He kinda can’t believe someone That good looking would make anything other then thirst content. He spends hours scrolling the account. He starts to wonder if maybe this guy is a serial killer or something. Then he notices in one of the videos that…hang on…he recognizes that place. And that too. And holY SHIT they totally live in the same town!!! So under one of the videos he comments something obscure but that is undeniably From Their Town, basically calling this guy out on where he lives without doxxing him.
Keith immediately dms him like. Who the fuck are you and what do you want. Lance is like teehee hi uh. I think you’re insane 🥰🤪😉. And Keith is like meet me at x spot at x time for a fistfight. And Lance is like hell yeah brother, writes his last will and testament (a text to hunk) and goes to meet this unhinged hottie who literally said they were going to fight. So they meet up and like. Keith is how he is, kind of mostly just awkward and shy with an inclination for feral hobbies and knuckle first thinking and Lance is how he is all chatter and bravado and challenges and charm and so. The do spar a little bit but once they’re both breathless they just go get coffee and talk.
And after that in all of Keith’s videos there are snippets of someone chattering in the background, tan legs dangling just out of frame, a dude who does backflips with him, someone cheering or whining saying “let me try 😞 Keith hey. Let me try.” When he walks around throwing knives. A dude who is otherwise not mentioned anywhere or tagged in anything.
All the people who are fans of Keith account for its adventurous and surreal humor start speculating in the comments. Eventually Keith gets fed up and posts a video reply to the comments.
It’s in selfie mode. It a beautiful day, and him and Lance are side by side. Wherever they’re sitting it’s up high. A breeze ruffles their hair. Keith looks straight into the camera and says completely monotone. “This is Lance. He’s my boyfriend.” Lances silent shock gets cut off by the video ending (he did not know they were dating.)
