The way I’m literally not appearing in any of the Ferrari stories because they don’t want to show Carlos dropping his marker and going on all fours to retrieve it
Someone on twitter said the way people treat Franco now is how they treated Lando at first. Everyone used to love him because he was funny and bubbly and chronically online and a breath of fresh air. People started to turn on Lando only recently when he became more confident in himself and his skills and was no longer the insecure shy teenager he once was but an actual title contender. I hope this is not Franco's fate, and that he will show confidence right away so no one can blame him for "turning cocky" later on in his career like they say about Lando
This is the video that has circulated in so many places as "proof" that Checo didn't push Carlos's helmet, with the caption "Y'all are just as blind as your fave driver."
THIS is the video from another angle that shows no, Checo did in fact push Carlos's helmet, which means the first video of Carlos's onboard was in fact purposefully edited to cut out Checo's contact with Carlos's helmet.
"Y'all are just as blind as your fave driver," what a joke. This person on twitter was apparently willing to falsify media and lie for their favourite driver - and taking advantage of thousands of fans who can't verify cut videos because F1TV isn't in their locality.
How many people shut down their reblogs and edited or deleted posts and tried to clear Checo's name only to realise now that no, actually, Checo did forcefully push a fellow driver's helmet back after a high-speed crash before a medical assessment to rule out any spinal injury, and he got away with it scot-free.
will: lando, do you mind if i dedicate this to someone?
lando: go ahead will, of course you can!
will: my dad passed away 10 years ago today as i was on the way to Singapore or just about to leave to Singapore. So, this is to him. He would be very proud of us all.
"It's so needless, probably particularly on Perez, who's got a clearer view and has space to move to the left-hand side."
"It's on Perez for me. He's behind, and he just drifts towards Sainz."
Carlos already made the overtake, and he's getting in the racing line.
Checo, who is behind Carlos, with a whole left side of the track opened, does not move and pushes straight on. Contacting Carlos' car, making the tyre to touch and causing him to lose control.
