I saw your tag about how Carlos is autistic and not brushed with melancholy. And find it a bit bizarre how other people have re-blogged your tag and are howling with laughter? Like what exactly is so funny if he does indeed have some autistic traits that people are having screaming laughing fits.

Carlos quivers as he forces his hand beneath the stream of cold water. It swirls around the basin, ribbons of blood spiraling against ceramic. The wounds are small but deep; a string of ragged holes punched into the back of his hand. He looks into the edge of the mirror, polished silver reflecting the mess of a room behind him. His soul is crushed into the corner of the bathroom, cowering behind the towel rack. Scarlet fur forced into hackles as one paw is held shaking off the tiles, her brown eyes meeting Carlos’ own. She pants rapidly, jaw slack and painted red. Water splatters across the floor as Carlos throws a handful into his face, finally letting out a breath. ‘You’ —his fingers tighten around the edge of the sink— ‘are barely my dæmon.’

I'm a bit baffled why people are confused they're not protesting a *checks notes* normal wet weekend that was halted at appropriate times, a state of racing that drivers voluntarily know they will experience and will race, or *checks notes* the insane and complicated political weavings of the countries they are directly reliant on for racing and/or the continuation of their entire career.

I think some people have lived in Tumblr and Twitter too long and have neglected reality.
