I love when people see a Star Trek species that looks like a humanoid with half the show's budget plastered on their face in the form of silicone and paint and they say "Oh yes this is great. But what if it was an animal". So here's my Cardassian.

They move kind of like very agile bears: mostly on all-fours, but easily capable of standing on two legs. Their hair benefits from regular sand baths.

Introducing a running gag in which Garak keeps jokingly trying to kill Quark after 'Body Parts' would've been such a funny running gag. Missed opportunity.
