Hey, Jake & Jack fans, is this anything?

Both men imprisoned (literal & metaphorical).

Both offered an out from their current predicament by an outside force (arguably in the case of Brain Ghost Dirk).

Both have loose ties to Lord English visually.

Yellow initial glow & Gamzee involvement too.

Sometimes a guy just needs to explode (same pose too).

Both dual wielding weapons.

That same said weapon type (for Jack Noir) having killed Jane Crocker.

It's really looking like Jake is going to do her in.

I would also like to point out that we've had interactions involving these three (Jane, Jake, and Brain Ghost Dirk) before that consisted of similar topics & themes.

Brain Ghost Dirk implying that he's just there as moral support, a manifestation of Jake's powers, and as a coping mechanism. Jane also talking about ruling an empire with him while talking down to him, similar to how she saw and/or still sees him in Beyond Canon's Candy timeline. Jake also being uncertain about doing anything to harm her despite all the bad things she's doing.

Brain Ghost Dirk going away tells us that Jake's more hopeful than he's ever been. This is the moment where he is the most sure of his decisions than he's ever been in his life, whatever those decisions may be in regards to Jane and how to handle this situation.

He is probably going to shoot Jane down, quite literally. I would also argue that after all this time, the lad isn't beating the Lord English allegations. We might as well have a parallel of him killing Jane much like how Jack Noir killed her right before he got possessed by Lil Cal & given some of Lord English's immense power.

Alternatively maybe we'll get to see what the power of hope or hope bullets can do to someone whose done so much wrong & come so far off the deep end in terms of moral wrongdoings. Maybe with every shot that hits her, she'll begin to be swayed to the side of good & start to self-reflect.

I'm still not fully convinced that Gamzee actually cured Tavros' peanut allergy, I mean just look at the panel.

This could absolutely be interpreted as Jake injecting his hope power into the epipen and by proxy injecting both his power & the epipen into his son! If younger Jake is strong enough to defeat Grimbark Jade, then adult Jake might just be strong enough to defeat a peanut allergy is all I'm saying! In fact, now that I'm rambling about it, this seems like the more likely outcome is Jake's hope power swaying or (in the very least) confusing Jane mid-fight. Hope bullets, they would look cool & would be pretty strong!

The power of believing in others & wanting things to change can be a strong tool indeed, Mister English.

If there's one person who still believes in changing Jane's mind (or bringing her back to proper canonicity depending on how you interpret the recent lore), it would be Jake English, the believer.

Okay, maybe this is something! Tally ho!

#I fucking hate commercial binders so goddamn much #50$-60$ to be sweaty and uncomfortable- not even get sufficiently flat bc anything above the smallest sizes gets only half effectiveness #IF THAT #not to mention them stretching out in like 2 years max #idc if you're supposed to get new ones every couple years I SHOULDNT HAVE TO!!! THOSE BITCHES ARE NOT MADE OF BIODEGRADABLE FABRICS EITHER #I already made a better one out of an etsy pattern that was more general corset inspired #AND IT DOES WORK BETTER..#i just dont quite have access to some of the better materials it needed so i wound up with the boning that stabs you #very willing to try again/fix this one in the future if i can get ahold of metal boning at some point but yeah #the flapperesque ones though..#like. it could work..#flattening was LITERALLY the point.. i miss horses

#horseback riding is insanely expensive in big cities though #idk if ive talked about it here but i did do horseback riding for i think six? or seven years? something like that #i was super lucky i got to do that bc i was able to get my equipment 2nd hand and #and my mom had 2 jobs and she thinks every kid should have at least one sports hobby and #she knew how much being able to do riding would mean to me so she made it happen and #it did so good for me so i'm very thankful #*did so much good #man i was in such a good shape when i still did riding. by good shape i mean great ass.#anyways i was even pretty good at it. the coach always wabted me to compete but i was like #''hmm no ♡'' bc i didnt want to have to learn and remember what to do at which point #i do sometimes think about what if i started competing #probably not much bc idk if it works with someone elses horse but hey i could have gotten ribbons #anyways i miss it #i dont think i could even get on a horse anymore. i need to start stretching regularly #also im probably too heavy to ride a lot of horses #but i want to brush a horse so bad rn #pretty recently after i stopped riding someone asked me if i did ride bc they could see it on the way i carry myself #which was interesting but i get what they meant #sigh my posture was so much better too #also im kinda scare i wouldnt bounce back from falling like i did when i was younger #it's a miracle i never broke anything or worse #leevi talks

I tried to mod something and the good news is, it didn't crash the game. 🥳 The bad news is, not what I was looking for lmao.

Like, don't get me wrong. I've seen way worse (the stuff of nightmares) on a modding channel I've been teaching myself this stuff lately, so. It's not like I completely fucked this thing up or anything like that.

It's just... I still gotta ask though.

What went wrong here?

#personal #my mods #(sort of kjdkd)#i was just lamenting this stuff on a fandom discord channel. saying i'm at my wits' end here and about to quit this shit #i tried following a tutorial on a modding channel and i got the whole thing working for the most part #he's sized correctly. animations seem to work. nothing is stretching apart from hair. the textures are all fucked up now but yeah #but because what i'm trying to do here is a little different than what that tutorial does #(they still keep pointing to that very same tutorial though)#it seems that either i did something wrong. maybe i skipped some important part?#(because one answer claimed if it's a model extracted from the same game it doesn't need to be rigged or weight-painted)#but then that video tutorial also says you need to separate some parts so that nothing's stretching etc.#which is obviously a thing that's happening above. that hair is in fact stretching. A LOT #i'm guessing because cloud and zack have different hair. so they must have different hair physics or something #but then. i also learned on that channel that zack doesn't have his own animations. because he's neither playable/non-playable #because he only appears in this one cutscene towards the end of the game. he has his own model and textures though #so i don't know whether that means he doesn't have his own physics either or...?#meaning i probably need to use another model's hair physics as well and somehow transfer them on zack's hair too or smth like that maybe #i don't know. i'm so confused #like i've put so much effort into this. so many retries already. i'm getting sick of the shaders input part actually lmao #and i'm so close but i'm stuck!#i tried asking for help on a modding channel but because my question didn't get answered in a couple of hours i chickened out and deleted i #and now i'm like i need help. i just don't know what i did wrong 🙈 i need strength and courage

unironically do any of you guys have any tips on how to feel more awake before like noon cuz this shit is the bane of my existence and I feel like I've tried everything atp

#juno.txt #ive started eating breakfast which i didnt do as recently as a year ago #I'm much more hydrated than i used to be #i get out of bed p quick after waking up #i have a lamp on a timer that simulates the sunrise so its at full brightness by the time i wake up #i do stretches. i stretch so fuckin much #i take my meds ofc #im even sober. for now at least lol #caffeine either makes me more tired or makes me jittery no in between #I've been trying to get to bed earlier but even before then i was averaging 7-8 hours of sleep on weeknights and longer on weekends #so like i am truly out of ideas #and i know this post will probably go largely ignored esp since ive ruled out a lot of options/ideas ppl might have #but like i wouldnt be asking here of all places if i wasnt really at the end of my rope #my mind wakes up easy but my body takes absolutely fucking forever and it affects my mental state #i really dont even Start to feel awake until 12-3pm #and i get a stupid burst of energy at 11pm that makes me wanna stay up late but i feel guilty if i do #but i feel like im missing an opportunity if i dont #like my window for when i have time to do things is entirely offset from the window for when i have energy to do things #and i really truly dont know how to help it but im so fuckin tired man im TIREDDDD IM TIRED OF BEING TIRED AAUHHGHH

Did plot outlining for the probably-beginning of the Slayer Mabel AU. Still some big backstory questions unresolved but not ones I need immediately!
