A Tale of Two Warriors - my 2 wol au fic and a very big boy that I uhh…..probably need to get back to lol. Lots of plot twists and divergences planned for that one, but for now, enjoy the Crystal Tower arc and one young and spry version of our very favorite red cat boy!

To Save the Queen - stars my beloved Tortilla (T’orr Tia, but I call him the former cause I think it’s funny) and Mikoto during the events of the Save the Queen quests; a smut fic to leave you questioning just what kind of relationship those two have…

A Day in the Life of Eorzea University - a wolgraha university/coffee shop/volleyball au based off of the Eorzea high school manga! This one is just really silly, and there for if you want to have a few giggles (also need to get back to writing this one but not to fret—I shall get there…..eventually 👀)

Kuporella - my wol has a fever dream during the events of SHB and dreams herself in the story of Cinderella! I don’t know what I was on while writing this one, but it’s fun lol. If you ever wanted to see Ardbert as a tiny rat, this is the fic for you!

Do you have any advice on finding ethical cat breeders? I've only ever adopted, but I'm hoping to get hairless (or slightly haired) breed in the future due to my partner's allergies.

oh sure, here's what sold me on the breeder I'm currently wait-listed for:

she lists the 40+ health tests her animals have gone through, and has the results uploaded onto her website

each cat has their coefficient of inbreeding visible

it's not a kitten factory. there are set times of year when breeding occurs (in this case, spring and fall)

breeding animals have short careers and then are retired, to avoid strain on their bodies, and allow them to live as pets

she attends cat shows to ensure her animals are meeting breed standards

there are rarely any kittens 'for sale', as most sales are done through a waitlist. this means that even before being born, most of the kittens she produces already have waiting homes.

she requires buyers to sign a contract saying that this will be an indoor cat, and that there will be no declawing

also in the contract: if for whatever reason you can no longer care for your cat, she will take it back and find a home for it.

doesn't breed for any unethical traits (extreme brachycephaly, manx tails, folded ears, lykoi fur mutation, munchkin legs, etc.)

doesn't make outlandish claims - anyone who breeds lower allergen cats should be forthright about the fact that no cat will truly be hypoallergenic, only less allergenic

requires the cat to have a feline companion if it is of a more social breed (oriental, siamese, devon rex, etc)

has a 2 year congenital health guarantee

there's probably more, but that's off the top of my head!

EDIT: as for your particular situation, aim for breeds that produce less of the protein in their saliva that triggers allergies. Devon Rexes (the breed I'm getting) are a double whammy in this regard, as they produce less of the protein, and shed less fur into their environment.

This week I have been doing Stoned Exposure Therapy which is where I wait for the edible to hit, leave the house, recite the litany against fear ("I must not fear, fear is the mind-killer," &c.), then psych myself into attempting a mundane activity that freaks me out for autism reasons (if avoiding it is impeding how I want to move through the world). Today's Stoned Exposure Therapy was "take a shorter but totally unfamiliar bus route back from the movie theater instead of a familiar bus route that is 35 minutes longer with an extra transfer." I did it and only got lost once 😤

I think some folks MAY have gotten the wrong idea about how I feel about Circe with some of my posts. So, to clear the air...

Homies, I love that fucked up sorceress.

I love how we're never given a reason why she turns people into animals. That's so funny and so awful. And another potion-making magic gal?!?! I love that she's just basically vibing on an island doing whatever she wants. I even love the fact that she scares Odysseus shitless! She's morally gray and that's why she's FUN.

I just sincerely hate when people try to girlboss her or have her be a victim of SA when she never was Looking at you, Miller. Especially when she was actually the one who coerced Odysseus in exchange for his men being transformed back into humans. And even then, while he was clearly afraid of her, (it's in the language of the Odyssey) she likely meant him no harm after a certain point. He just didn't know that.

Why does she need a reason to do awful things? Why can't she just be a goddess who does whatever she wants? That's the reason why I love her!!! She's fucked up!!! :D
