Random FYI: you know how there are two options for viewing your own blog now? The one where only your blog is visible, with any customized theme (marlynnofmany.tumblr.com) and the one where it's just a center column in the larger Tumblr page (tumblr.com/marlynnofmany)?
You can only blaze your posts from the second one. The icon doesn't show up on the first.
#which is a pity because I far prefer looking at the first option#the second one feels like I could click on the wrong thing and have it all revert back to the dashboard#anyways this took me an annoying amount of sleuthing#and conversation with the help line#to figure out last time I wanted to blaze something#was there a problem with my account? was I shadowbanned for some obscure reason?#lol nope#I just had to look at it the other way#harrumph#blaze#tumblr failr

#RIP to the legacy post editor. you will be missed. while queueing this post and the last one it's removed the option for me to switch to the#old one and is making me use the new one. which is like not bad. it's not a bad editor. i just don't like change as most tumblr users don't#it also just appends the post you make directly to the top of the currently-displayed posts behind it even if it's not meant to go there#which is a little bit scary when i'm on the queue page and i click “add to queue” for a post that's supposed to go up on august 18th#to see it immediately appear above mega metagross. the legacy post editor didn't do that. it made you refresh the page if you wanted to see#your own new post on the dashboard. which i think was better!! honestly!! i've never Made a post using the new editor to see how it behaves#only ever queued up FFP using this thang. but that's also bc i feel like i don't post very much. i need smth Interesting to say when i post#on my main blog i mean. i don't make extraneous posts on here (usually) unless i'm answering an ask or something. which. still have yet to#miss one to this day. going strong#bibarel#can you tell idk what to say about this guy. what are they‚ water-type? big chance i'm fucking wrong and they're just pure normal#OKAY i was right. normal/water. semi-interesting typing and i get why they're a water-type. but. i never use. bibarel. even as a kid who#didn't understand or care about competitive. i knew bibarel was not very strong. it's a route 1 normal-type fucker. and maybe it's like#better than i think or something but tbqh it's a sinnoh 'mon and i already have another sinnoh water-type that has my heart. buizel#so bibarel was not so much in the cards for me. bro i should do like. a mono-type run of a pokémon game one day. that would be fu#do folks do that? is that a challenge run that actually exists? nuzlockes exist so i don't see why not. okay i'm doing it. my next replay o#any pokémon game is hereby decreed to be a water-type mono-type run. i may or may not liveblog it on my main blog#and it may or may not be nuzlocke. we shall see#hell maybe i'll stream it. maybe that could be fun. i don't know of *anyone* who would be interested in that but it tends to help me#actually go about completing games when i have someone there like. waiting for me to do so

#it won't affect me too much because ALMOST all my posts fall below 30 pics each#but it sucks i won't have the option anymore#like the last 2 casper posts both clocked in at 45+ pictures because of the way i formatted it with the text#oh well i really only wanted to use that format for that scene anyway#i hate the new editor though#it's so hard to rearrange photos they just jump all over the place or get stuck#and you can't just click between photos to add a new photo between them. you have to insert it at the bottom and drag it alllllll the way up#i've sent in multiple support tickets in the past couple years and the issue is still there lol#nonsims

Thredup is a great site for if you care only about what brand your clothes are and not about any of their features
#all of the search and categorizing options are so terrible#I mean the options are fine. it would be nice if selecting them meant you were shown clothing that matched them#also. you say on the site that sizing is wildly inconsistent between brands (we know)#you also provide (some) measurements for most items#why are you using tag size to sort things. you could use the measurements#‘my size’ is a basically useless filter because you want to put in the full range of sizes that might fit you in some brands#(since there’s not one size that fits you in all or even most brands)#but then 98% of results when you actually click on something cute are not your measurements anyway#because that size in that particular brand doesn’t fit#also why do you use only chest measurements for dresses. where is the waist measurement.#those are different things and there’s not a consistent ratio between them you can’t skip one#same with skirts having waist but not hip#although usually I’m looking for (and not finding because again filters don’t work) for styles where the hip measurement is irrelevant#you sure can search and sort by brand though!#thank god nobody cares about the style and fit and characteristics of their clothing and only the name on the inside#mine#tangent in the tags#not really though it’s all very much on the same topic lol#I got bored with poshmark browsing last time so I decided to switch it up#you would think a site where everything runs through it would standardize their stuff better but no it’s somehow worse#than the site with a thousand random people doing different things#thredup#thrifting

I fucking love having weird-ass dreams. Especially when I get to remember them when I wake up.
#this one might be one of the weirdest of all time.#it's up there next to the one I had last fall where it turned into a side-scrolling pixel graphics youtube video complete with subtitles.#this one was like I was playing bg3 combat complete with the lag.#but there was an option for my character to kiss one of the enemy characters mid-combat. so I clicked it and they started making out.#and this continued for a solid 30 seconds until one of the other enemy characters was like ''wtf are you doing? you're supposed to kill the#it was really funny.#I should also say that both of the characters kissing were purple tieflings.#The one that was my companion was clearly a rip-off of Molly from Critical Role. And the other one was a rogue who could go invisible.#I woke up as soon as the old lady started yelling at them though.
