OKAY ANYWAY. i crossed out "hate" to say dislike instead bc its not like i hate natsuki, not as much as i hate horropedia AHHAHAHHAHAH, but natsuki just... isn't a fave of mine. there's characters that i like more than her. tsunderes are just not my thing. but that's only when it comes to the canon game! she's really annoying in the game due to the nature of how it's written as a stereotypical dating sim. but i think she can be pretty cool when depicted in fanworks!

this was really fun and interesting to work on, since it was my first time creating banners from scratch and not using a photo i found online as a banner and editing it slightly and calling it a day. i kind of struggled trying to fill the space in the first banner and at first i didn't know what to do with it. also i'm not too satisfied with its colors but i don't really feel like changing it...

i did 2 kinds of pfps where it's a transparent sprite/photo and another where there's a frame. i think ones with transparent backgrounds are rather popular right now on tumblr so i wanted to edit those as well.

You can reblog literally anything you want as long as the post doesn't have reblogs turned off. Did that text post make you laugh? Reblog it! Did you like that fanfic concept? Reblog it! Did you like that art? Reblog it! You don't need to if you don't want to, but it's very much allowed. "Will I cross someone's boundaries if I reblog too many times?" Nope. Reblog as much as you want, be as weird as you want. Plenty of artists on here take it as a compliment and a sign of excitement. You don't need to be as afraid on here.

• THERE IS NO ALGORITHM!! Everyone on Tumblr over here is equal and clout means basically nothing over here. We just like cool art, funny stuff, and cool ideas. Post your stuff to the tag and just watch as people who are interested in it come to you. We're just here to have fun--this isn't a game of clout. Sit back, relax, and find your people! The days of clout are no more.

• We Tumblr users LOVE reading and writing! It's in our nature. So you're probably gonna see a lot of long posts on here with blocks of texts. Don't be scared of it, check some of them out! That said, short but sweet posts are fun over here too. Feel free to type as much as you want. We have unlimited text over here! It's so cool.

• Speaking of writing and tags, remember how you had to censor your words on TikTok? No need. You can say literally whatever over here and you don't have to fear getting banned. The days of "unalive" and "sewer slide" are ALSO no more. SPEAKING OF WHICH. A lot of users still put tws on their posts and tags. If you're shoving it in the tags, PLEASE do not censor it. • The first thing you should do over here after you get your account set up if make your blog look special. • You can post videos on here too! Feel free to upload old TikToks you save! I've seen a lot of other TikTok refugees who want to see some old content. I never was on TikTok, though I think it'd be neat to see your old stuff.

If you have a niche interest, go ahead, include it into your introduction-- no one will judge on here and you just might find someone else who's just as crazy over it. You can check the tags for other people who posted about it, too! It's fun to go scrolling through the tags. I included Ducktales 2017 in my interests list--I didn't lose any cool points. I even still post about it! Literally be as weird as you want. We don't care, you have no limits. This is a fandom haven!

• You can have opinions here. Post about the most random crap you want and spit whatever opinions you have, people are very non-confrontational on here. Use your blocklist, you have it for a reason. Blacklist tags you don't want to see. Again, be as weird as you want. You WILL find your people. Just don't go fighting people--unlike TikTok, we'd rather live our lives on here and having beef with other people isn't going to give anyone any clout. Intro!

Howdy!

I'm running this blog on behalf of all the apothisexuals, apothiaroaces, and other acespec/apothi folk who want to speak up about their experiences anonymously.

You probably want to learn more about me first, understandably so.

I am an 18yo apothisexual panromantic in a nonsexual same-gender relationship. I will not be making my main account OR partner known for personal reasons. I use she/her pronouns.

The flag in my pfp/banner is my own apothiaroace flag. I could only find apothisexual and apothiromantic flags, not one for both, and I didn't want to use someone else's without permission.

I have been stalked and harassed for my appthisexuality before and called a "puritan" or "anti-kink" for stating my discomfort countless times, and that's what convinced me to make this blog in the first place.

My apothisexuality is trauma-induced. Despite this, due to extensive exposure therapy (and actual therapy) I am desensitised to most topics and I am open to talking about them.

The creature in my pfp is named Hambee the HamsterBeetle! I want to give the blog some kind of mascot so I drew a silly creature with no real narrative. He was a placeholder at first, but people seemed to like him so now hes sticking around!

There are a few rules of the trade as to avoid harassment towards others and other problems.

Apothis, it is recommended that your send asks and submissions anonymously if you are sensitive to harassment. There are some real unsavoury people out there who like to harass and shit on apothiaroaces. Those who want to make your apothiaroace identity known however, be my guest!

First drawing is screenshot redraws of Meryl n’ Milly from Trigun for practice since I plan to make more fanart of them so I wanted to get myself familiar with their designs and see how I can draw them in my style!

Second drawing was a birthday drawing for my sister in law! I drew some of her favorite characters which were Nifty from Hazbin Hotel, Hatsune Miku(specifically the Cinnamoroll Miku) and Koro senseii from Assassination Classroom!

Third drawing was a quick drawing I made for my banner on discord, which were lil chibis of Leon n’ Luis from re4, Vash n’ Wolfwood from Trigun and with the addition of my self inserts from each fandom!

Then the last two are birthday drawings for a friendo so that we could match on discord! I drew some of his favorite characters which were Octane from Apex Legends, Kaneki Ken from Tokyo Ghoul, Aqua from Kingdom Hearts and Leon from re4! Then I drew my favorite characters which were Wattson from Apex Legends, Luis from re4, and Vash n’ Wolfwood from Trigun! i use diana marmol's soft brush for everything, usually on 40% opacity (and i make it pretty big) and then i polish it with the eraser tool (using the same brush). i use this whole pack to some extent, but soft brush is my go-to for literally anything. opaque is the second most used brush. usually for clean lines on my merch, or flat coloring.

do you take requests?

I have this tinfoil hat theory that the death of customization made people technologically illiterate.

Back when customization was big, it wasn't exactly user friendly. Sure, there were default themes for a lot of places, but if you wanted to truly customize something, you had to learn HTML and image editing.

Not to mention that when PCs were new-ish, the fact that it wasn't just a black screen with green text, but a blank slate that you could put any program with any function on was also novel. Even that degree of customizability was unheard of beforehand. We knew it came with a promise of infinite possibilities, and so if you wanted your PC to do something, you knew that you had to learn how to get it to do it. That was just how it is.

If we wanted a program from the internet, we either got it as an exe file or a zip/rar file. We learnt that there's a free program that can unzip compressed files. Today, ads are the norm, but back then, we learnt that if we see ads, they're most likely a virus and we need to block them with an anti-virus software or a browser extension. Everyone and their mother knew how to torrent and crack programs. They knew it could be done somehow and so they learnt how to do it.

Now, all you can customize are your posts and pfps and banners, and if you're lucky, you can choose between dark or light mode, but that's it. We've been needing to put up with shittier and shittier website updates that slowly but surely took out every morsel of customizability and I think by 2016-ish we just gave in. Of course, OS' followed suit along with everything else, seeing the success of the first things that were sleek and minimalist (I suspect that it was Windows 8 and the Windows Phone as much of a trainwreck as they were at the time or maybe Apple).

And now everything is homogenized. Nowadays I keep meeting so many people who have no idea about 95% of their PCs' functions. They don't know that they can install an adblocker or how to unzip zip files or even that they don't have to put up with Microsoft's bullshit and they can just get rid of the tiles and Xbox-related functions if they don't need it. They've been conditioned to think that customization is at best minimal on any given platform and so they won't even try it.

I often hear that all they do on their PCs is check social media (the same things they can do on their phones as well).

It's genuinely making me sad.
