So I’m terrified about LiS:DE and the myriad ways they could massacre our girl and be unfaithful to the OG.
I’m also definitely going to buy and play it because I am That Loser and I’m too in love with Max and her story not to.
Honestly, if it does end up being disrespectful crap, I’m just going to think of it as fandom fodder. I like to think that if it’s horrible, we can just forget how it actually played out and make lemonade for ourselves, you know? I also hope it’ll bring a fandom Renaissance, and maybe bring in some new blood that we can softly cradle into being as rabid about LiS, OG specifically, as we are.
It might end up being terrible, but life is giving us lemons guys! We must be prepared to make lemonade!

Borrowed Time
Charles Leclerc x single mother!Reader
Summary: you do everything in your power to make your sick son’s dream come true but what you don’t realize is that meeting his hero will change all of your lives forever
Warnings: terminal illness and death
Tumblr media
“You know what would be the coolest, Mama?” The soft voice of your son, Luca, breaks through the silence of the hospital room.
You brush a stray hair from his forehead, trying to coax a smile onto your face despite the weight in your chest. “What’s that, sweetheart?”
“To meet Charles Leclerc. Just once. To tell him he’s my hero.” Luca’s eyes, though tired, gleam with that familiar spark every time he talks about Formula 1.
Your heart aches, knowing how much this means to him. “He is pretty amazing on the track, isn’t he?” You respond, reminiscing about the countless races you’ve both watched together from this very room.
Luca nods, holding his toy race car, a replica of Charles’ Ferrari. “Yeah, but it’s not just that. He never gives up, even when things get tough. Kinda like me.” There’s a hint of pride in his voice, making you marvel at his resilience.
You pull him close, tears threatening to spill. “You’re my hero too,” you whisper, kissing his temple.
He snuggles closer, murmuring, “I just wish I could meet him, Mama. Tell him he gives me strength.”
You take a deep breath, new resolve settling in. “You never know, my love. Miracles happen.”
The determination you feel is like a roaring fire and you silently vow to make Luca’s dream come true. No matter what it takes.
***
As the evening shadows stretch across the hospital room, you find yourself deep in thought, racking your brain for any means to make Luca’s wish a reality. You think about reaching out on social media, starting a campaign, anything to catch Charles Leclerc’s attention.
You start by posting on your personal pages: a heartfelt message accompanied by a picture of Luca holding his toy race car, the walls of his room adorned with posters of Charles racing. #LucaMeetsLeclerc, you caption it, hoping against hope that the message reaches the right eyes and ears.
The following days are a whirlwind. Friends, family, and even strangers share the post, and the hashtag starts trending in your community. Messages of support flood in and local news channels express interest in Luca’s battle.
One evening, after reading Luca a bedtime story, your phone buzzes with a notification. It’s an email from a name you don’t recognize but the subject line sends your heart racing: A Special Meeting.
Opening it hastily, your eyes skim over the words:
Dear Y/N,
I represent Charles Leclerc. We were deeply moved by Luca’s story and would like to arrange a meeting ...
Tears blur your vision and you can’t help but let out a soft sob of relief and joy. Luca, hearing your cry, looks up at you with curious eyes. “Mama? What’s wrong?”
You pull him into a tight embrace, trying to convey all the love and happiness you feel. “Sweetie,” you whisper, pulling back to meet his gaze, “I think your dream might just come true.”
Luca’s eyes widen and his smile lights up the room brighter than any lamp ever could. The journey to fulfill a lifelong dream has just begun.
***
The hospital room feels heavier than usual. The rhythmic beeping of monitors fills the silence as Luca plays absent-mindedly with his race car on the bed. Just as you are about to suggest a card game, a knock interrupts the monotony.
“Come in,” you call softly.
The door opens and to your astonishment, Charles Leclerc himself steps inside, a shy smile gracing his features. He seemed different than on the TV — more human, more vulnerable.
“Ciao, Luca,” Charles greets, his voice gentle.
Luca’s eyes widen, his jaw dropping. “You ... you’re real.”
Charles chuckles, pulling a chair closer to the bed. “Last time I checked, I am. Your mom tells me you’re quite the fan.”
Luca nods vigorously. “You’re my hero. When you race, I feel like I’m flying. Free from this …” He gestures vaguely at the hospital equipment surrounding him.
Charles’ eyes soften. “Thank you. That means a lot to me. But, you know, you’re a hero too. Racing against challenges every day.”
You watch their interaction, touched by Charles’ genuine empathy. “Thank you for coming. It ... it means the world.”
Charles turns to you, a depth of understanding in his eyes. “When I read about Luca, I saw more than just a fan. I saw a fighter. Just like on the track, it’s the fights we don’t see that often matter most.”
There is a brief silence, filled with unsaid emotions.
Luca’s voice, trembling with emotion, breaks the quiet. “I have a question, Charles. How do you stay brave even when you’re scared?”
Charles takes a moment before responding. “I focus on the present. Fear often comes from thinking about what might happen. But in the moment, there’s a job to do, a race to finish.”
Luca looks thoughtful. “So, you mean I should focus on now and not think about ... later?”
Charles nods, placing a comforting hand on Luca’s. “Exactly. Live in the now and remember that every race has its challenges. It’s how we face them that defines us.”
Tears well up in your eyes, gratitude and admiration for Charles swelling within you. Here he was, not just a racing star but a beacon of strength for your son.
“Thank you,” you whisper, voice choked with emotion.
Charles smiles, glancing between you and Luca. “No, thank you. Today, I met a true champion.”
***
“You know,” Charles begins, playing with the edges of the signed Ferrari cap he just gifted Luca, “I once met a kid, a bit older than you, at a race. He told me that every time he felt like giving up, he’d watch one of our races. Said it gave him hope."
Luca’s fingers trace the signature on the cap. “Is that why you race? For people like him ... and me?”
Charles leans back, gazing out the window for a moment. “Partly. But also for myself. Racing ... it’s my passion, my escape. It’s where I find my strength.”
You feel compelled to share your own perspective. “We all have our races, don’t we? For Luca, it’s here, fighting every day. For me, it's trying to be strong for him, even when I feel like falling apart.”
Charles looks at you intently. “It’s incredible the strength we find when it’s for someone we love. Your journey, your race, is just as important — is more important — than any I’ve been on.”
Touched by his words, you continue, “I watch you race. The precision, the dedication. It’s art. I want Luca to have something like that, something to pour his heart into.”
Luca chimes in, his voice soft, “I think I already have something. Watching races with Mama, it’s our thing. It helps me forget, even if just for a while.”
Charles leans forward, engaging Luca directly. “Then let’s make a promise. You keep fighting your race here and I'll keep racing out there. Deal?”
Luca’s smile is radiant. “Deal.”
There is a pause, a moment of reflection, before Charles turns to you. “You're an incredible mother. The strength you show, the love ... it’s palpable. And it reminds me so much of my own maman.”
You blink away tears. “We do what we have to for our children.”
He nods, a faraway look in his eyes. “She would always say the same thing after losing my father. And sometimes, despite all the pain and struggle, we find connections, kindred spirits, who remind us we’re not alone.”
You smile, feeling a deep bond forming, not just between Luca and Charles but between two souls who understood the depth of love, sacrifice, and hope.
***
“I have a proposition,” Charles offers, the twinkle in his eyes belying the gravity of his words.
You raise an eyebrow, intrigued. “Go on.”
“How would you both feel about attending a race in-person? I can make sure Luca is comfortable and you both get the full VIP experience.”
Luca’s face lights up with hope and disbelief. “Really? I ... I’d get to see you race in real life?”
Charles nods, “Right from the best seat in the paddock.”
You hesitate, considering the logistics, the health implications. “I don’t know. It’s a beyond generous offer but Luca’s health …”
Charles raise a hand, preempting your concerns. “I’ve thought about that. We have top medical facilities at the track and I’ll make sure we have everything necessary for Luca.”
“You’d do that for us?” you whisper, the weight of his offer sinking in.
Charles leans forward, sincerity evident in his gaze. “I’ve won races, stood on podiums. But the race Luca is running, the courage he’s showing ... it’s unmatched. I want him to see a race, not just as a spectator but as a fellow racer.”
Luca looks up, eyes brimming with tears. “You make it sound like I’m a hero. But I’m just trying to get by, just trying to ... to live.”
“And that’s what makes you a hero,” Charles replies gently. “Facing adversity and pushing through, not because of fame or accolades but because of love, hope, and sheer will.”
You feel a lump in your throat, deeply moved by Charles’ words. “It’s not just race wins or trophies that make you a champion, Charles. It’s moments like this. Thank you. This means more than words can say.”
He smiles, a touch of sadness in his eyes. “In the grand scheme of things, life is the most important race. And in that race, I’ve found two champions right here.”
***
In Monza, as you settle into the VIP area with Luca by your side, the excitement in the air is overwhelming in the best way possible. The roar of the engines, the sea of red flags, the bustling energy of the crowd — it is a sensory overload that fills Luca’s eyes with wonder.
“Monza is special, you know,” Charles whispers, kneeling next to Luca’s wheelchair, overlooking the historic Italian track. He slips off a red Ferrari bracelet from his wrist, its well-worn leather showing its age. “This was given to me when I first joined Ferrari. I like to think that it’s brought me luck ever since.”
Luca’s eyes widen, tracing the intricacies of the bracelet. “Why are you giving it to me?”
Charles smiles, “Today, I want you to hold onto my luck. Keep it safe for me, will you?”
Nodding fervently, Luca reverently holds the bracelet. “I promise.”
When Charles leaves to prepare for the race, Luca clutches the Ferrari bracelet to his heart. “Mama, did you see? He gave this to me. His lucky bracelet!”
You smile, brushing a tear from your cheek. “Yes, sweetheart. He wants you to keep it safe. It’s a piece of his heart.”
As the race progresses, you both watch in awe as Charles’ navigates the twists and turns of the circuit. Your heart races with every lap, both as a fan and as someone who had come to know the man behind the helmet.
And then, the moment you’d never forget — a triumphant finish, Charles Leclerc taking the checkered flag. The Tifosi erupts into cheers, and during the celebration, you almost swear that Charles’ eyes find yours among the crowd.
Over the radio, his voice crackles through the airwaves, reaching not just the pits but into your very soul. “This one’s for Luca. Keep fighting, champ.”
Luca’s eyes widen, his hand clutching the bracelet even tighter. “Did you hear, Mama? He said it for me!”
Tears well up in your eyes as you nod. “Yes, sweetheart. He said it for you.”
The post-race interview is a blur of emotions. Charles, sweaty and exhilarated, is asked about the race, about his victory. But then he pauses, his gaze distant yet focused, his voice trembling with emotion.
“This win ... it’s for someone very special. A young friend of mine named Luca. He’s fighting a battle much tougher than any race and his spirit, his courage — it’s what carried me through today. Luca, this is all for you.”
***
The roar of the crowd has faded but the emotional high from the race lingers. You, Luca, and Charles head back to the hotel provided by Ferrari with laughter and memories of the day filling the conversation.
However, as the night passes by, a chilling silence envelopes the room. Luca’s breathing becomes shallow, his skin clammy. Panic bubbles up within you. The medical equipment that was always close by in the hospital is absent here.
You rush to his side, your hands trembling as you try to comfort him. “Luca, honey, stay with me. Breathe.”
Charles, witnessing the scene, feels a deep pang of fear and helplessness. “I’ll call for help,” he says, fumbling for his phone.
As you count the seconds for first responders to arrive, Luca’s weak hand reaches out, clutching Charles’ wrist. His voice, barely a whisper, shares a desperate plea. “Charles, if ... if I don’t make it, promise me you’ll look after Mama. She’s strong but she'll need someone.”
Charles, tears blurring his vision, nods, squeezing Luca’s hand reassuringly. “I promise. But you’re a fighter. You have to keep racing, okay?”
Luca manages a faint smile. “Always racing, Charles. Always.”
Emergency services arrive soon, the room transforms into a flurry of medical professionals and machines. Charles wraps an arm around you, pulling you close as you both watched, praying for a miracle.
Hours feel like lifetimes. When the medical team finally manages to stabilize Luca, the emotional toll is evident in every face in the room.
You approach Luca’s bedside, gently stroking his forehead. “You gave us quite a scare, sweetheart.”
Luca, though exhausted, manages a faint smirk. “Had to keep the race interesting, right?”
Charles, his voice choked with emotion, adds, “Every race has its challenges, remember? You faced this one head-on, just like a true champion.”
Luca’s eyes meet Charles’ own, a depth of understanding passing between them. “Remember your promise,” he whispers.
Charles nods, his gaze drifting to you. “Always.”
***
“You know, I’ve seen some tough races,” Charles begins, his gaze distant, “but nothing compares to what I witnessed last night. The strength, the love, the sheer determination.”
You sigh, exhaustion stamped across your face. “Every day is a race. Some days, the finish line feels close, other days it feels miles away.”
Charles takes a deep breath, his voice wavering slightly, “I ... I can’t pretend to know what you’re going through but I want to be there, for both of you. Luca asked me to look after you and that’s a promise I intend to keep.”
You look up, surprised by the depth of his commitment. “You’ve done so much already. You’ve given Luca memories he will cherish forever.”
He moves closer, his eyes searching yours. “It’s not just about Luca. It’s about you too. Through this entire ordeal, the strength you’ve shown, the love … it’s made me see life in a different light.”
A silence envelopes the room, broken only by the rhythmic beeping of the machines monitoring Luca.
“I’ve raced all over the world,” Charles whispers, “but I’ve never met someone who’s touched my heart the way you both have. I want to be there for you, for whatever you need.”
You blink back tears, overwhelmed by the sincerity in his words. “It’s been so long since someone offered to share the load. I’m not sure I know how to let someone in anymore.”
Charles gently takes your hand. “One step at a time. Just like in a race. We face each challenge as it comes, together.”
A tear escapes, trailing down your cheek. “Thank you, Charles.”
He brushes the tear away, his touch lingering. “No, thank you. For letting me be a part of your world and for showing me what real strength looks like.”
***
“Look at that,” Luca murmurs, pointing towards the sunset painting the sky with hues of pink and orange. The three of you sit atop a hill overlooking the city, a picnic blanket spread beneath you.
Charles takes a deep breath, the fresh air filling his lungs. “You know, moments like this make me appreciate life even more. The simple joys, the beauty all around.”
You nod, taking in the serene view. “It’s easy to get caught up in the chaos and forget these moments exist.”
Luca’s eyes shimmer with a mix of mischief and wisdom beyond his years. “You two sound like philosophers. All I know is that this sandwich tastes amazing.”
You chuckle, ruffling his hair. “Always living in the moment, aren’t you?”
He grins. “That's the secret, Mama. We have to savor every bite, every sunset, every laugh.”
Charles, deeply moved, joins in. “You're right, Luca. In the races, I’ve learned that every second counts. It’s the same with life.”
Luca nods earnestly. “Exactly! You can’t rewind time. You can only enjoy it.”
The evening wears on with laughter, stories, and shared dreams. The three of you revel in the simplicity of the moment frozen in time.
As stars begin to sprinkle the night sky, Luca turns to Charles, a serious expression on his face. “Promise me something?”
Charles leans in, listening intently. “Anything.”
“Make more moments like this with Mama, even after ...” Luca's voice trails off, the unspoken words hanging heavily in the air.
Charles squeezes Luca’s hand, his voice thick with emotion. “I promise, champ. Moments full of love, laughter, and sunsets.”
Luca’s watery laugh has tears pooling in your eyes. “You know, when you look at the sunset, remember me. Remember this moment.”
You turn to him, tears now overflowing. “Luca …”
He smiles, a mixture of melancholy and contentment in his gaze. “I may not be here forever but I'll always be a part of these sunsets. A part of you.”
Charles, his voice a gentle whisper, adds, “And a part of me.”
***
“Mama?” Luca’s voice, frail and delicate like the gossamer wing of a butterfly, quivers with fear.
You lean in closer, grasping his hand between both of yours, heart heavy. “Yes, my love?”
He swallows hard, searching your eyes with his own clouded ones. “I’m scared, Mama. I don’t want to go.”
Tears blur your vision but you muster a brave smile for him. “I know, sweetheart. But remember our sunsets? Sometimes, the sun has to set to make way for a new dawn.”
Luca’s fingers weakly grip yours. “But what if it’s dark, Mama? What if it hurts? What if I’m all alone?”
Charles, unable to remain a silent spectator, interjects, his voice cracking with emotion. “You won’t be. It will be just like falling asleep. You’ll have the sunsets, the memories, and all the love we’ve shared. That light will never fade. We will always be here. I promise.”
Luca’s eyes shimmer with tears but also a glimmer of hope. “Will you sing for me, Mama? The song from when I was small?”
Your heart breaks, remembering the countless nights you’d sung him to sleep. Taking a deep breath, you begin, your voice soft and lulling:
“You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine,
You make me happy
When skies are gray ...”
Luca’s breathing slows, his grip on your hand loosening.
“You’ll never know, dear,
How much I love you,
Please don’t take
My sunshine away.”
As the final note leaves your lips, Luca’s chest rises gently one last time, then stills. The room is silent, save for your heart-wrenching sobs.
Charles steps closer, wrapping his arms around you as you crumple into him, your world shattering. “I’ve got you,” he whispers, tears streaming down both your faces.
***
The somber quiet of the funeral is punctuated by the soft cries of mourners. The backdrop of gentle flowers contrast starkly with the weight of the grief in the air.
Charles stands next to you, holding a polished helmet, the vibrant colors of his Monza race-winning headgear gleaming under the sun. He turns to face you, eyes red-rimmed.
“This,” he starts, voice choked, “is my helmet from Monza. The race we won together. He was my co-driver that day, in spirit.”
You take a shaky breath, reaching out to touch the helmet, feeling its cool surface, the memories of that day flooding back. “He would’ve been so proud to have this.”
Charles nods, tears streaming down his face. “And this,” he says, taking the Ferrari bracelet off his wrist, “he held onto it for me once. I ... I want him to have it. To keep it safe.”
You clutch the bracelet, feeling its familiar weight, the leather still warm from Charles’ wrist. “It meant the world to him. And to me. Thank you.”
The two of you stand side by side, staring at the small casket adorned with flowers and memories. The embodiment of a life cut short but filled with love and unforgettable moments.
Together, you place the helmet and bracelet inside, a final tribute to a young racer whose journey had inspired so many.
“He’s free now,” Charles whispers, his voice barely audible. “Racing in the skies, no pain, no limits.”
You nod, tears flowing freely. “Our little champion, forever.”
Charles pulls you into a tight embrace, both of you finding solace in each other’s warmth. The wind picks up, rustling the leaves, carrying with it the memories of a brave soul, forever remembered, forever missed.
***
The familiar crest of the hill looms ahead, the very spot where laughter and dreams once danced in the wind. You and Charles reach the top, the vast expanse of the horizon stretching out before you. The setting sun casts a golden hue, much like that unforgettable evening a year ago.
Charles lays down a blanket, reminiscent of that day, and the two of you sit, lost in memories. The silence isn’t empty — it’s filled with remembrance of a young boy’s laughter, his dreams, his courage. The hole he left behind in your hearts.
“Do you ever feel,” Charles hesitantly cuts through the quiet, “that Luca is still here with us, watching these sunsets?”
A tear slips down your cheek. “All the time. Every time I close my eyes under the setting sun or look up at the sky, I feel his presence.”
Charles takes a deep breath, struggling with his emotions. “I’ve been thinking about a way to honor Luca. To keep his spirit alive.”
You turn to him, eyes questioning.
“A foundation,” Charles begins, “In Luca’s name. To help children with terminal illnesses and their families. To give them hope, love, memories.”
You feel a rush of emotion, a tidal wave of love and loss. “He would have loved that. To know he’s making a difference even now.”
Charles nods, tears rolling down his cheeks. ‘It’s not just about the financial help. It’s about the moments, the memories. The sunsets and the picnics. The dreams and the hopes.”
You intertwine your fingers with his, drawing strength from the bond you’ve forged. “We’ll do it together. For Luca.”
The sun slowly dips below the horizon. As the first star appears, a sense of peace envelops the two of you. In the heart of sorrow, a new purpose is born, ensuring that Luca’s light continues to shine, guiding countless souls out of the darkness.
***
The sun sets in a blaze of colors, casting a warm glow over the hill that has become a symbolic memorial. Charles and you sit side-by-side, hand-in-hand, watching the bittersweet horizon.
A small voice breaks through the silence. “Mama, Papa, why do we come here?”
You turn to your daughter, a smile tugging at your lips. Lucia, with her curious eyes and radiant smile, is a constant reminder of love and life renewed.
“We come here to remember someone very special,” Charles explains gently, his eyes, so similar to your daughter’s, filled with tenderness.
Lucia looks at you both, a hint of understanding in her innocent gaze. “Luca?”
You nod, voice soft. “Yes, sweetheart. Your big brother. We come here to celebrate him, to tell stories about him, and to show him how much we love him.”
Lucia frowns slightly. “But I never got to meet him.”
You stroke her hair, your heart aching and swelling simultaneously. “He’s always with us, in our hearts. Just like you are.”
Charles leans down, wiping away a tear that escapes your eye. “And you’re named Lucia after him, to carry his memory forward.”
Lucia’s eyes light up, smile shining bright. “I’m like a part of him?”
“Yes,” you say, your voice filled with emotion. “A part of him lives on in you. In all of us.”
As the sun dips below the horizon, bathing the world in twilight, you hold each other tightly, a family united by love, loss, and the enduring spirit of a young boy whose legacy lives on in every sunset, every star, and every beat of your hearts.

The soft hum of background music filled the cozy living room as Taesan and Y/n lounged on the couch, side by side, each engrossed in their phones. The gentle rustling of their scrolling was the only other sound, comfortable in their quiet companionship. The afternoon sun streamed through the windows, casting a warm glow over the room.
Suddenly, Taesan jumped up from his seat, startling Y/n. His eyes were wide with excitement, and a grin spread across his face.
“Holy—no way!” he exclaimed, almost bouncing on his feet.
Y/n, confused and slightly amused by his sudden burst of energy, lowered her phone and raised an eyebrow at him. “What’s gotten into you?” she asked with a small laugh. “You look like you won the lottery.”
He turned his phone around to show her the screen, his hand trembling with excitement. “Oasis!” he practically shouted. “They’re holding a concert in Korea!”
Y/n blinked, leaning closer to read the post on his phone. Sure enough, there it was: Oasis Live in Seoul. She looked back up at him, his excitement contagious as he practically vibrated with joy.
“No way,” she said, a smile creeping onto her face at seeing him so hyped. “You’re a huge fan of them, right?”
“Huge fan?” he repeated, flopping back onto the couch beside her, still buzzing with energy. “Y/n, Oasis is like my lifeblood! I’ve been waiting for this for ages. I am definitely getting tickets. I don’t care what it takes.”
He was already swiping through his phone, checking the ticketing site, his fingers moving rapidly as if the concert was going to sell out that second. Y/n chuckled, watching him.
“Calm down,” she teased. “You’ll probably crash the site with how fast you’re trying to get in.”
He shot her a playful look, eyes gleaming with determination. “I have to be prepared! This is a once-in-a-lifetime thing! Oasis. In Korea. We’re going!”
“We?” she asked, raising an eyebrow.
“Of course!” he said, beaming. “I’m not going without you. Plus, who else is gonna calm me down when I lose it during all the songs’?”
Y/n laughed, shaking her head as he continued to scroll. “Alright, alright, I guess I’m going to an Oasis concert then.”
“You won’t regret it!” he said, throwing his arm around her shoulder and pulling her close, his eyes still glued to his phone. “I’m getting those tickets no matter what. It’s gonna be great!”
As he leaned into her, still bubbling with enthusiasm, Y/n smiled to herself, amused by how excited he was, yet feeling warm at the thought of sharing the experience with him.

The soft glow of a laptop screen lit up Taesan’s tense face as he sat hunched over the coffee table, fingers poised above the keyboard, eyes glued to the screen. He was sitting cross-legged on the floor, bouncing his leg nervously, unable to sit still. The ticking countdown on the concert ticket website loomed in front of him, each second feeling like an eternity.
"Come on, come on," he muttered under his breath, glancing at the remaining time—just seconds to go. His heart pounded in anticipation.
3… 2… 1…
The timer hit zero, and Taesan lunged forward, his fingers flying over the keyboard as he clicked frantically to secure the tickets. The screen refreshed, loading… loading…
His chest tightened. The queue moved at a snail's pace, but finally, the buy button appeared. He clicked it with desperation, but before he could even exhale, the screen flashed red.
“Sold out.”
His stomach sank. He blinked, staring at the mocking words in disbelief. "No way," he whispered, his hand hovering above the mouse as if it could somehow change the outcome. He tried refreshing again, but the result was the same.
Hours later, the front door creaked open. Y/n stepped into the apartment, kicking off her shoes and calling out, "Dongminnie, I'm back!"
There was no response.
Frowning slightly, she made her way to the living room, where she found Taesan still sitting in the exact same spot, staring blankly at his laptop. He looked completely drained, his face devoid of any of his usual energy.
"Hey," she said softly, walking over to him. "Did you get the tickets?"
His silence spoke volumes.
She knelt behind him, her arms wrapping around his shoulders, pulling him into a gentle hug from behind. Resting her chin on his shoulder, she looked at the frozen screen in front of him. "They sold out, didn’t they?" she whispered, understanding instantly.
He nodded slightly, still not taking his eyes off the screen. "I can’t believe it," he said, his voice low and filled with disbelief. "They sold out so fast."
Y/n tightened her hold on him, rubbing his shoulder in comfort. "I’m sorry," she said softly, resting her cheek against his.
For a moment, they just sat there, quiet and close, the disappointment lingering heavily in the air. Taesan let out a long breath, finally pulling his gaze away from the screen and leaning into her touch. "I’ve been sitting here for hours," he admitted with a frustrated chuckle. "I was so ready."
"I know," she said, her voice soothing. "But we’ll find another way. There’ll be more concerts."
"Yeah," he sighed, trying to cheer up, but the weight of missing out still hung over him. He rested his head against hers. "Guess I’ll have to settle for watching videos online."
Y/n smiled, kissing his cheek lightly. "Or maybe I’ll make it my mission to get you those tickets somehow," she teased gently, trying to lift his spirits.
He chuckled softly, finally breaking into a small smile. "If anyone can pull that off, it’s you."
★🎸🎧⋆。 °⋆
The soft glow of the TV flickered in the otherwise dark living room. Taesan sat slouched on the couch, scrolling through his phone. He sighed in frustration as he came across yet another post of someone bragging about their concert tickets. It had been two days since he failed to secure tickets, but the disappointment still lingered. Every tweet, every post—it all felt like a taunt.
The clock ticked toward 11 p.m. Y/n still wasn’t home. He glanced at his phone again, noticing his last message to her, sent hours ago, still sat unread. Usually, she was back by 8 after her shift, but now it was already late.
Just as his worry began to escalate, the door clicked open. He perked up, sitting straighter, and turned toward the entrance. Y/n stepped inside, a little breathless, carrying her bag over one shoulder. She froze momentarily upon seeing him awake.
"You're still up?" she asked, surprise flickering in her eyes.
Taesan stood up from the couch, eyeing her with a mix of concern and curiosity. "Yeah. It's kinda late, don't you think? I was waiting for you. You didn’t answer my texts."
She set her bag down carefully, avoiding his gaze for a moment. "Oh… yeah, sorry about that. It was just a really long day," she replied, her tone tired yet strangely distracted. "I didn’t get the chance to check my phone."
He frowned slightly, sensing something off in her demeanor. "You okay? Work rough today?"
She nodded, but her answer was delayed. "Yeah, something like that."
Y/n shuffled past him toward the kitchen, busying herself with pouring a glass of water. Taesan followed her, leaning against the doorway, watching her with a concerned expression.
"Everything good? You’re acting kinda weird," he said, his voice gentle but probing.
Her hands paused, gripping the glass tightly. "Yeah, I’m fine," she said, forcing a small smile, but it didn’t quite reach her eyes. She took a sip of water, then cleared her throat. "I just wanted to tell you… I’m going to be really busy for the next few days. You might not see me around much."
The way she said it sounded rehearsed, and there was a nervous edge to her voice that wasn’t lost on him.
"Busy?" he echoed, raising an eyebrow. "With what?"
She shifted her weight from one foot to the other, her back still turned to him. "You know… work and other things. I’ve just got a lot going on. I’ll probably be out late, so don’t wait up for me."
Taesan stared at her, his gaze narrowing slightly. She was being evasive, and he knew her well enough to pick up on it. But instead of pressing her, he let it slide—for now. "Okay… if you say so."
She finally turned to face him, offering another weak smile. "Thanks for understanding."
He returned her smile, but it was laced with quiet suspicion. Something didn’t feel right, but he wasn’t going to push it just yet. "Yeah, no problem," he said, though his mind was already racing with possibilities. What was she up to?
As she headed toward their room, Taesan remained in the doorway, watching her with a mix of curiosity and concern. There was definitely something she wasn’t telling him.
Whatever it was, he had a feeling he was going to find out soon enough.
★🎸🎧⋆。 °⋆
The sound of the shower dripped to a halt as Taesan turned off the water, wrapping a towel around his waist. The past few days had been gnawing at him—Y/n had been acting off. She’d been leaving the apartment earlier than usual, coming home late, and constantly checking her phone, flipping it face down every time it buzzed. He didn’t want to jump to conclusions, but with each passing day, it became harder to ignore the sinking feeling in his gut.
Drying off quickly, he stepped out of the bathroom, running a hand through his damp hair. As he walked down the hallway, a faint voice caught his attention. He paused.
It was Y/n, her voice low, almost a whisper. She was on the phone, and though he didn’t want to eavesdrop, something about her tone made him freeze in place.
"I know," she murmured, her back to him as she stood by the kitchen counter. He could just make out her figure from where he stood, hidden around the corner. "But he can’t find out. He has no clue right now."
His heart skipped a beat.
Y/n shifted, pacing slightly, her fingers gripping the phone tightly. "I talked to Jaehyun already. We’ll make sure everything’s set. Just don’t let him know. I don’t want him to find out."
Taesan's stomach twisted painfully. Jaehyun? Why would she be talking to Jaehyun behind his back? And what did she mean by he can’t find out? His mind spiraled with possibilities, each one worse than the last.
Was she hiding something from him? Something serious? His throat felt tight as the worst-case scenario flooded his mind—was she… cheating on him?
He shook his head slightly, trying to push away the thought, but it lingered like a dark cloud. He wasn’t the type to jump to conclusions, but the secrecy, the late nights, the constant checking of her phone—it was all piling up.
He took a small step forward, his heart pounding in his chest, but before he could do anything, she ended the call abruptly. "Okay, I’ll see you later," she whispered into the phone before hanging up. Her shoulders relaxed, and she put the phone down, letting out a quiet breath.
The tension in Taesan’s chest felt unbearable. He stood there, unsure of what to do, caught between confronting her and giving her the benefit of the doubt.
Without thinking, he stepped fully into the room, acting casual as if he hadn’t just overheard the entire conversation. "Hey, everything okay?" he asked, trying to sound normal even though his voice came out a little too tight.
Y/n jumped slightly, clearly startled. "Oh, yeah! Everything’s fine," she said quickly, giving him a smile that didn’t quite reach her eyes. "Just talking to a friend."
His eyes flicked to her phone, now face down on the counter, and then back to her. "Anything I should know about?" he asked lightly, though the tension in his voice was hard to mask.
Her smile faltered for just a second, and she shook her head. "No, nothing important."
He nodded slowly, forcing a smile, but the knot in his stomach remained.
As Y/n went back to what she was doing, Taesan stood there for a moment longer, feeling the weight of everything unsaid between them. Something was going on, and whatever it was, she wasn’t telling him.
The silence between them felt thicker than usual, and as he sat down on the couch, he couldn’t help but wonder—was she keeping a secret that could tear them apart?
★🎸🎧⋆。 °⋆
The soft hum of the television filled the living room, casting a warm, flickering light over Taesan and Y/n as they sat on the couch. But despite the comfortable setting, an uneasy silence hung in the air.
Taesan was lost in thought, his eyes fixed blankly on the screen but not really seeing it. The conversation he overheard a few days ago still gnawed at him, his mind running in circles. He couldn't shake the doubt, the questions, the fear.
Beside him, Y/n noticed his silence. She glanced at him, concerned. "Hey," she said softly, nudging him. "What's going on? You’ve been quiet all day."
He didn’t respond immediately, his jaw tightening as he debated whether to say what had been weighing on his heart. The tension between them had only grown over the past few days, the distance widening like a chasm.
Finally, he turned to her, his voice low but direct. "Are you cheating on me with Jaehyun?"
The question hung in the air like a heavy cloud, thick with uncertainty.
Y/n’s eyes widened in shock. "What?" She sat up straight, her heart racing. "Where is this even coming from?"
His gaze didn’t waver. "I overheard you talking on the phone a few days ago. You were whispering about how I couldn’t find out, and you mentioned Jaehyun. You’ve been acting suspicious for weeks now. I didn’t want to assume the worst, but… what else am I supposed to think?"
The disbelief on Y/n’s face quickly gave way to anger. Her mind raced, and in her frustration, she forgot the real reason she had been acting so secretive. But the accusation caught her completely off guard, making her lash out.
"Are you serious right now?" she snapped, standing up from the couch, her eyes blazing with hurt and anger. "How could you even think that?”
“Well, I wouldn’t have thought this way if you weren’t being so secretive!” Taesan snapped back, standing up from the couch. Y/n brushes her hair back in frustration.
“I know you’re smart but I can’t believe you would come up with that conclusion. Maybe you should stay out of my business if you’re going to make stupid assumptions." she blurted out.
The words left her lips before she could stop them.
Taesan flinched as if she’d physically struck him. His face went pale, his eyes filled with hurt that cut deep. For a moment, he just stood there, stunned.
"You want me to stay out of your business?" he repeated, his voice soft but filled with disbelief. He stared at her, the sting of her words hanging in the air. "Is that what you really want?"
Instantly, Y/n regretted what she’d said. Her anger melted into guilt as she realized the gravity of her outburst. This wasn’t about keeping him out of her business—she had been planning something special for him, but in her frustration, she had lost control. She opened her mouth to take it back, to explain, but the damage was already done.
The room felt suffocating with the weight of everything unsaid.
Taesan took a slow breath, clearly trying to hold himself together. "I’m not gonna fight with you over this," he said quietly, his voice strained. "You need space, fine. I’ll give you space. We can talk when you’ve calmed down."
He turned and walked toward the door, each step heavy with the pain he was trying to conceal. Y/n watched him go, the words stuck in her throat, but she couldn’t bring herself to say them.
As the door clicked shut behind him, the silence that followed was deafening.
She sank back down onto the couch, her heart pounding in her chest. She hadn’t meant for any of this to happen. She had just wanted to surprise him with something that would make him happy, but now she had hurt him instead. Her hands trembled as she realized how badly she had messed up.
All she wanted was to make things right. But now, she wasn’t sure how.
★🎸🎧⋆。 °⋆
The tension in the apartment had been unbearable for the past few days. Every attempt Y/n made to apologize was met with silence. She tried small gestures—making his favorite meals, leaving sweet notes, even trying to strike up conversations—but Taesan would just nod or walk away. The rift between them felt wider than ever.
It was two days before the Oasis concert, and Y/n was at her breaking point. She knew she had to tell him the truth, even if it meant ruining the surprise. Anything was better than this painful silence. She found him in the living room, sitting on the couch, scrolling through his phone.
Taking a deep breath, she walked over, standing in front of him. "Can we please talk?" she asked softly, her voice trembling.
Taesan didn’t respond, his eyes still on the screen.
Her heart sank. She had been holding it together for days, but the weight of his cold shoulder, the guilt that gnawed at her for keeping the secret, and the regret for the fight was too much. Tears welled up in her eyes, her chest tightening as she tried to hold them back.
"Please, I’m sorry," she whispered, her voice cracking as a tear slipped down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away but more followed. "I… I wasn’t cheating on you. I swear. I was trying to surprise you." Her hands fumbled in her pocket, pulling out two Oasis concert tickets. "These… these were for you. I got them with the help of your friends. That’s why I was being so secretive."
Finally, Taesan looked up from his phone, his eyes widening as he saw the tickets in her hand and the tears on her face. His heart dropped as guilt hit him like a punch in the chest. He had been so convinced that she was hiding something worse, that she was drifting away from him. But now, seeing her standing there, crying and holding those tickets, he realized just how wrong he’d been.
He stood up quickly, closing the distance between them and pulling her into a tight hug. Her body shook as she cried into his chest, her arms hesitating for a moment before wrapping around him.
"Hey, hey… don’t cry," he whispered, kissing the top of her head. He pulled back just slightly, just enough to tilt her chin up, and pecked her lips softly. "I’m sorry," he murmured, brushing his thumb over her damp cheeks, wiping away the tears.
Y/n sniffled, her lip trembling. "Can you forgive me?" she asked, her voice so small and vulnerable.
He nodded, guilt still gnawing at him, but the love he felt for her far outweighed it. "Of course I can. I’m sorry too, for jumping to conclusions and giving you the cold shoulder. I shouldn’t have assumed you were cheating."
She smiled faintly through her tears, leaning into his touch. "I just wanted to surprise you with the tickets…"
He chuckled softly, shaking his head. "And I was so butt hurt about not getting those tickets, I actually thought you might’ve cheated on me with Jaehyun because of it." He gave her a sheepish grin, clearly embarrassed.
That lightened the mood, and Y/n let out a weak laugh, sniffling again as she wiped the last of her tears. "You’re an idiot."
"I know," he admitted, pulling her back into his arms. This time, the embrace was calm, comforting. They stayed like that for a long moment, neither one wanting to break the warmth and peace they’d finally found again.
"I love you," he whispered into her hair, holding her close.
"I love you too," she replied softly, her head resting on his chest, the steady beat of his heart soothing her. They had been through a storm, but now, in each other’s arms, everything felt right again.

Just an idea that popped in my head (because i love you and your writing) but how do you think gojo would react when he's sitting on couch, waiting for reader to get ready so they can attend a party, and she emerges from their room, wearing the sexiest red dress and red lipstick?
Like, one min gojo is tapping on his phone, the next minute he's choking on air 😂
no mentions of reader's pronouns but reader wears a dress and makeup, suggestive, kinda deviated from what anon originally wanted, gojo is dumb and in love nevertheless.
Tumblr media
“if you don’t kiss me this very second, i might die.”
“excuse me?”
“if you don’t kiss me this very second, i. might. die,” gojo parrots, putting more emphasis on his words, as his eyes burn blue flames of determination and unwavering grit.
a laugh slips past your lips, “you’re being silly, satoru,” is all you say before walking past him and towards the genkan where you put out the red heels you were planning on wearing tonight.
“but i’m being serious!” he whines, “you don’t want me to die now, do you?”
“what started this?” reaching down to put on your shoes, your boyfriend is beside you in an instant, holding out his hand for you to grab as if acting like a glorified stand. you take it easily, putting your weight onto him to balance.
“when you’re looking this irresistible i can’t help it, and it’s a red dress, what do you want from me?” the white-haired whistles before bending down to his knees when you’re back on two feet. his hands then reach for the straps of your shoes, wrapping them up for you. “is it so selfish of me to keep you all for myself?”
he kisses your calf when he’s done, standing back to his full height. “well, you are a selfish man, after all.”
“only when it comes to you,” gojo reaches for your hand to place on his cheek. his other hand tightens around your waist, gentle with his grip, but fully possessive. “you’re too gorgeous for my health, i’ll die of jealousy before lack of attention.”
you laugh, drunk on love and affection as gojo pouts at you. “oh satoru.”
“what?” exclaims the sorcerer. “you’re going to capture everyone’s hearts. i don’t like it when other men look at you.”
“is that my fault?”
“no, never your fault, baby. i’ll fight off anyone who looks too long.”
you smile at him, eyes crinkling. “what am i gonna do with you?”
“stay with me forever?”
“if you’re good enough, sure.”
“how about a kiss, then?”
pinching his cheeks, you take a step away from him, breaking the hazy, lovestruck daydream that gojo had entered. “not when i have this lipstick on.”
(he takes a second to admire your retreating figure, only looking away when you send him a pointed and unimpressed look, to his dismay.)
“why not?” his tone is one of utter distraught and like a magnet, the sorcerer finds himself drawn towards standing beside you again, hand snaking up to hold your hips as you check your appearance in the hallway mirror.
“it will leave a lipstick mark, duh.”
“maybe that’s what i want.”
“you’re awful.”
“just one kiss, please?”
“but it will ruin the makeup.”
“i’ll die otherwise, y/n, won’t you save me?”
you scoff. “fine. one kiss.”
the look of pure joy on gojo’s face could rival the brightness of the sun and you wonder how you could ever learn to resist this man’s charms. turning around in his grasp, you pull him in for a kiss that fills his lungs with absolute adoration, a warmth that threatens to melt him into a puddle at your feet.
his heart sinks when you pull away, and hits rock bottom with a ‘thud’ when you don’t return to him.
“hey! that was too short.”
“makeup, satoru,” you lecture pointedly. “we should probably leave now, don’t want to be too late-”
“-i think we just don’t go at all.”
“that would be impolite and rude, we can’t-”
“-we can,” he murmurs before sealing your lips with his, this time with a lot more passion and weight than you likes. however, not one part of you moves to push him away, giving in to his touch despite how you know you shouldn’t.
“satoru, you’re going to have lipstick marks all over you,” you reason against his lips.
instead, he kisses you harder. “just what i want.”
when his hand bunches up your red dress in his grasp, you know you’ve lost this fight, bending to gojo’s wishes under him.
you arrive looking prim and proper whilst your lover’s neck is littered with kiss marks.

Reblogs and feedback are very much appreciated! Feel free to send requests! 🧡
Masterlist
"Lando Norris rounds the final corner in Monaco, the roar of the crowd almost deafening. It's been a long and arduous journey for the young Brit, facing countless challenges and setbacks. But today, all the hard work, all the perseverance, has finally paid off.
The checkered flag waves as Norris crosses the finish line, and the realization hits – Lando Norris has won the Monaco Grand Prix! What a moment, what a triumph!
This isn't just a win; it's a testament to Lando's incredible spirit and determination. From his karting days to this very moment, every lap, every turn, every sacrifice has led to this unforgettable victory. He's conquered the streets of Monaco, a feat that many drivers dream of but few achieve!"
The atmosphere at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi was electric. The crowd erupted into cheers as Lando Norris crossed the finish line, securing his first Formula 1 World Championship. The roar of the engines mixed with the jubilant cries of fans and team members, creating a symphony of victory. Lando could hardly believe it. He had finally achieved his lifelong dream.
You stood in the McLaren garage, your heart pounding with excitement and pride. The energy around you was palpable, and you could barely contain your joy as you watched Lando bring his car to a stop. This was the moment he had worked so hard for, and you felt incredibly proud of him. You've spent over a decade supporting him in every step towards this exact moments. All the sad and happy tears the two of you had shed over the years were finally worth it.
As Lando climbed out of his car, he wasted no time and ran straight towards his team, and you watched as they congratulated him with high-fives and hugs. Soon, he was hoisted onto someone's shoulders, a huge grin on his face. You couldn't help but smile, your heart swelling with love for your boyfriend who had just achieved his life-long dream.
Lando was then ushered towards the podium for the trophy ceremony. The crowd roared as he took his place on the top step, the gold medal around his neck.
Your teary eyes met his as he searched the crowd of the McLaren team. You mouthed an "I love you" which he seemed to understand quite well as he mouthed back to you "I love you too". You watched with tears in your eyes as the British national anthem played, your heart bursting with pride.
After the anthem, the champagne celebration began. Lando, along with the second and third-place finishers, shook their bottles and sprayed the fizzy liquid everywhere. The sight of Lando, drenched and laughing, made you laugh too. It was a moment of pure joy and triumph.
Once the celebrations on the podium were over, Lando was whisked away for interviews. You watched from the sidelines as he spoke to the media, his face glowing with happiness. His words were full of gratitude for his team, his fans, and for you. He mentioned you several times, and each time, your heart skipped a beat.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, Lando made his way back to the garage. He looked at you with that signature smile, the one that always made your heart flutter. Seconds later your body crashed against his as you two finally let it all out. Wrapped around each other's arms you kissed passionately, smiling against Lando's lips as your tears mixed in the kiss. His hands were gripping your waist as if there's no tomorrow, holding his favorite person in the whole entire universe and not wanting to ever let go.
After the high emotions worse off you separated your body from his, finally looking at his teary eyes that sparkled with a type of emotion you've never seen before from him.
"Congratulations, world champion. I am so proud of you." You said as you reached for his cheek, laying s gentle peck on the warm skin of his face.
His bright smile appeared second later as he kissed your forehead. Even though Lando was feeling emotional there was still something very important that he had to do. And that made him nervous, so nervous he barely found words to speak.
"Thank you baby. I love you so much, I couldn't have done it without your support. Thank you thank you thank you." Lando said, burying his head between your neck and collarbone, breathing in the nice floral smell of your perfume that made him go crazy every time his nose caught it in the air around.
You stood there, one of your hands buried in his messy curls that you adored so much while the other hugged Lando around his waist.
A few moments later you boyfriend spoke again, his voice quiet, coming from his hiding spot next to your neck.
"Y/N, there's something I want to show you," Lando said, his eyes sparkling with excitement as he looked at you. "Come, sit in the car."
Your eyebrows furrowed in confusion, but you complied, taking his hand as he helped you slide into the driver's seat of his race car. This was something unusual as he'd never done this before or even suggested it. You even though it was forbidden as it might seem as tampering with the car in the steward's eyes.
The seat felt surprisingly comfortable, yet alien. You had always admired the car from a distance, never imagining yourself inside it. Around you, the mechanics and team members exchanged knowing smiles.
"What's going on, Lando?" you asked, your heart pounding. You looked around both confused and worried. Being the center of attention wasn't exactly your favorite thing.
Lando stepped back, when suddenly, Max appeared out of nowhere holding the large sign which they use to announce their driver's finish positions. You squinted, trying to read it as Max slowly lifted it above his head so that the halo wouldn't be in your line of sight. The sign read, in bold letters: "WILL YOU MARRY ME?"
Your breath caught in your throat, your shaking hands flying to your mouth as tears welled up in your eyes. You looked back at Lando, who was now kneeling beside the car, a small red, velvet box in his hand.
"Baby, you are my rock, my best friend, and my greatest love and supprter," Lando said, his voice trembling with emotion as his own eyes got teary. "winning the championship means the world to me, but none of it compares to how much I love you. Will you marry me?"
Tears were streaming down your face by the time he finished talking as you nodded vigorously. "Yes! Yes, Lando, of course, I will!"
Everyone around started clapping and congratulating the newly engaged couple.
The crowd, having caught on to what was happening thanks to the live broadcast, erupted into cheers once more. The commentators, caught up in the moment, couldn't contain their excitement.
"Ladies and gentlemen, not only has Lando Norris won his first World Championship today, but he's also just proposed to his girlfriend! And she said yes! What a moment!"
Lando stood up, pulling you out of the car and straight into his arms. He slipped the ring onto your finger, and you shared a kiss that was broadcasted to millions of viewers around the world. The world seemed to fade away as you lost yourself in the moment, feeling the warmth of his embrace and the softness of his lips.
Max, still holding the sign, laughed and joined in the celebrations. "Congratulations, you two! Looks like we have a double win today!"
The entire McLaren team gathered around, clapping and cheering for you and Lando. Surrounded by friends and teammates, you felt the warmth of their love and the joy of your shared moment. The ring on your finger sparkled under the bright lights of the garage, a perfect symbol of the new chapter you were about to begin together.
As the celebrations continued, Lando looked deeply into your eyes, waiting for your reaction to the stunt he just pulled, his heart full.
"I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you, Y/N."
"And I can't wait to spend mine with you, Lando," you replied, your smile brighter than ever. "It is very much your style, this whole thing. But that's one of the many reasons I love you." You said as you pecked his cheek once again.
In the midst of victory and love, Lando Norris's proposal had become a moment that neither you nor the world would ever forget. The memories of this day would be etched into your hearts forever, a beautiful beginning to your life together.

It's early in the morning, 8 AM in fact, Sebastian, you and Painter all in the living room. Sitting on the worn-out couch while nursing a mug of coffee in your hands, bringing it up every so often to your lips to take a quick sip, the hot beverage waking your senses a tiny bit. The sun shining brightly through the windows and sheer curtains, the rays of light giving the place a cozy feeling, watching as the light reveals the particles floating through the air. A certain glow that can't be achieved with simple lights.
It was a slow morning really. Sebastian was lying on the rug all curled up—like a cat—directly in the sunlight, eyes closed. You watched as his chest rose and fell with each breath he took, it seemed a lot slower than an average human, could be because of a bigger lung capacity. You feel a small ping of jealousy, oh how you wished to at least hold your breath for that long.
His angler lure twitches every so often, along with the fins on the side of his head. If you listened closely, you could hear a low rumbling-gurgling sort of purr coming from him. It . . . it kind of sounds like someone drowning for some reason.
Ah whatever, it's cute.
Painter seemed to be feeling the sleepy early morning vibes as well—despite being a computer—their screen dim as they lazily draw something on the tablet only to erase it out of frustration with a few sleepy grumbles.
Downing the rest of your coffee, you slammed the cup down onto the table, standing up from the couch with a sudden determination filling your veins; your fast movements and loud noise startling both Sebastian and Painter awake, Sebastian's tail hitting the coffee table with a loud *SMACK* as a yelp left Painter. You winced at the loud sound, especially at the loud 'FUCK' that Sebastian lets out, his hand immediately going over to smooth the part of his tail that was just hit.
"Sorry." You immediately say, a glare being all that returned your response, an apologetic smile on your lips. Shrugging it off, you walked over to your room, changing into more comfortable clothing suited for walking, grabbing a bag with some extra clothes and towels in it on your way out to the kitchen, packing plenty of snacks and drinks for the small outing.
Sebastian looks at you in curiosity when you came back into the living room with a different change of clothes and a bag, your hiking shoes in hand, "Where are you going?" He asks with a tilt of his head, his lure bobbing slightly with his movements, eyes narrowed a fraction.
"Correction," A grin tugs at the end of your lips, an air of excitement surrounding you, "-it's where we're going! Now get changed, we leave in 10 minutes."
~~~
The crunch of small twigs and the rustling of leaves filled the air as you walked along the well-worn trail, Painter held firmly in your hands as you avoided all the dips and rocks along the trail to the best of your ability. The sun peaked out from the trees, bringing light down to the forest floor, the life of the forest seemingly becoming livelier.
Sebastian trailed behind you, swiveling his head to take in his new surroundings with of look of amazement and curiosity, stopping every once in a while to observe something for a little longer before catching up to you. A smile stretches across your face when you risked a glance back at him, a feeling of joy buzzing throughout your blood as you continued forward.
"You never told us where we're going." Sebastian mutters, catching up to your side. In his hands was a Baby Blue Eye, bringing it up to his face to examine the delicate bright-blue petals closer. Eventually, he tucks the flower behind your ear, making sure it was secure before taking his hand back, face flushed a pretty blue. "It looks prettier on you . . "
A flush floods your face, averting your eyes away from him as a wobbly smile threatens to break out on your face, "Oh, thank you!" The beating of your heart was loud in your ears, you wouldn't be surprised if Sebastian hears it. Quickly trying to shake off the feeling, you answer his previous question, red still tinting your cheeks.
"We're uhm, we're going to a place I used to frequent before . . before that." It seems that he understood what you implied, nodding before looking forward, his hand occasionally brushing against yours as you walked deeper and deeper into the woods, sun slowly climbing up higher and higher in the sky.
The sound of rushing water could be heard, getting closer and closer the more you walked, your pace slightly increasing in excitement once you saw the familiar tree you used to climb came into sight. Finally coming to the end of the path, a massive grin now present when a large waterfall greeted the three of you. It still looks the same as it did before you left; moss-covered rocks of all sizes scattered around, plants still flourishing as they glowed vibrantly—colors of all sorts dotting here and there, trees towering over the whole entire area as they swayed gently to the breeze, frothy white water gushing towards the lake below surrounded by a shore of gravel and sand.
It's good to come back to this place.
Carefully placing Painter down on a rock without moss and away from the water, you quickly stripped yourself of the clothes you were wearing. Sebastian sputters, looking away hurridely as the blue flush from before comes back in full force, "What are you DOING?!" A look of confusion overcomes your features at his sudden outburst—taking off your shoes and socks, putting them in the bag you brought—before a look of realization washes over you, a teasing smirk now present.
"I have swimwear on, dummy~" Hesitantly, he looks back at you, seeing that you were indeed in swimwear. Embarrassment floods his body once again, a scowl overcoming his features. "I didn't know you had swimwear underneath!" Crossing his arm, he grumbles out a, ". . at least warn me next time." You couldn't help a small snort slipping past your lips, walking over to the grumpy fish, cupping his face once you got close enough.
"Sorry, sorry-" Standing on the tips of your toes, you gave a small peck to his chin as a way of apologizing for the small misunderstanding, giving him a big smile when you moved away. The fins on the sides of his head twitch at the gesture, his features softening just a fraction. He looks at you for a few seconds more, expression unreadable, before grabbing you with all three of his arms. A yelp slips out from you only for it to be interrupted as his lips meet yours for a proper kiss.
Shock fills your senses at what just happened, before smiling into the kiss, eyes fluttering close as you let your hands caress his cheeks, butterflies erupting in your stomach. It's not everyday that Sebastian decides to lead, so you'll savor this.
"AHEM." Or maybe not. Quickly breaking away from the kiss, you both look over to the AI still sat upon the rock, unimpressed look on their screen. You felt a little bit of embarrassment forgetting that Painter was there, but you couldn't help the chuckles that left your mouth, sheepish smile on your lips.
"Sorry, Paints."
"You seem to be saying that word an awful lot today, aren't you?"
"Oh shush! Put me down!"
A low chuckle leaves him as he places you back on the gravel-sand floor, playfully sticking your tongue in his direction as you walked over to the water.
You know the water will be cold, it always was whenever you came here, so without hesitation you took a running start—jumping straight in. For a few seconds, you were surrounded by cold water, prying your eyes open as you observed your surroundings. Everything seemed so peacefully quiet—save for the silent roaring of the crashing water—flickers of sun gave way to the greenery at the bottom of the lake as they gently swayed to the soft current, rocks big and small wedged into the wet earth, a few fishes swimming past you only to flee once you moved.
Breaking the surface, you took a deep breath of needed air, letting out a laugh of joy as you float in the water. Swiveling to face where Sebastian was—about to call him over to join you—only to stop short in confusion when you didn't see him there, only his shirt on the ground and Painter, who had a look of mischievousness when he saw your face of bewilderment.
"Wait, wher-?" A shriek interrupts your sentence when you were lifted up from the water, looking down only to meet those smug fluorescent eyes you've grown to love as he sets you atop his bare shoulders, looking very pleased at what he done.
"Sebastian!"
"Hehe, sorry sweetheart~" Oh he so wasn't sorry.
~~~
After several hours spent within the water, the two of you finally decided to take a break, the sun now high in the sky as it shined down on the two of you. Painter was now atop a towel you brought along in the shade, peacefully drawing with a look of content on their screen.
Not too far away from them, you laid stretched out on Sebastian's tail directly in the sun, the light feeling great on your skin after being in the cold water for so long. Drops of water still littered the both of you, mostly on you since they seemed to literally fall off Sebastian quite quickly after you left the water.
Watching the clouds pass by, you munched on a few snacks that you brought with you—offering Sebastian some every now and then, who happily munch on them. The man seemed to preen in the warmth of the light provided, that same purr he made earlier in the morning coming back full force, you could practically feel them.
Though, it does make sense that he might like sunbathing, since he's quite cold. Like, very cold. It doesn't seem to bother him much, though.
"You really remind me of a cat." You tease, popping a chip into your mouth as you continue watching the clouds high above, watching how some of them began to take on shapes. Hey that one looks like a fish.
"A cat?" He mumbled out, cracking his eyes open a fraction to look at you, a bemused smile on his face. He looks so handsome when he smiles, his hair framing his face perfectly, eyes gleaming with joy.
"Yeah, you purr like one, sometimes you act like one too." Another tease, offering him another chip before continuing, "Grumpy but always looking for affection."
"I'm not grumpy."
"Uh-huh, sure gramps. Let's get you back to bed."
"Oh you are just begging to be thrown into the water, aren't you?"
"Nooooo?"
"Mm, not convincing enough."
"WAIT WAIT WAI-!!"

Calypso put the new flowers in the vase.
It didn't matter how much water she poured in or how often she changed the plants - the flowers always wilted after a few hours and nothing of her magic could prevent that. She didn't understand that. Just like she didn't understand a lot of things that had happened since her Beloved had shown up on her island.
The late dinner was slowly cooling, the smell wafted throughout the house and the last wisps of steam were disappearing somewhere in the air. She was used to waiting for him. To waiting for him to turn up in her bed at night, for him to join her in the warm springs of the island and rest in her embrace, for him to give up those childish dreams of Ithaca and burn all those tools he was trying to hide from her.
She had waited so long. She could have waited a little longer.
‘Oh darling, this looks just amazing.’
It wasn't Odysseus' voice. Odysseus never sounded so cheerful.
She turned and clenched her fist, and the candles in the room flickered.
At the head of the table, where she usually seated Odysseus, sat a strange man.
No, not a man.
A god, smiling at her with his teeth bared. He sprawled comfortably in a chair, holding a chalice in his hand, Odysseus' chalice, into which she had not yet had time to pour wine. However, the intruder seemed not to mind as he took a sip from it without taking his eyes off her. In his other hand he held a strange staff, entwined with two snakes. He rotated it in his hand, as if slightly bored.
‘This place is not for you, Hermes,’ Calypso growled, and the candles went out completely.
She noticed with anger that the Lilies of the Valley, which only an hour ago had tempted her with their fragrance in the meadow, had begun to bow to the ground. The petals were covered in spots.
The Messenger of the Gods only laughed heartily. Something about that joy made the hair on the back of her neck stand up. He waved the Caduceus, and the candles lit up again, but this time with a rosy glow. She gritted her teeth.
‘So you remember me? I shouldn't be surprised, I can make an impression, after all I am-’
‘Uninvited. And unwelcome.’
‘Funny, I don't recall you being bothered by not being invited when the waves tossed a certain wanderer onto the shore.’
She turned.
‘I enjoy his company.’
She had work to do. She placed the pot over the hearth.
‘I don't doubt it, darling. Tell me, though, does he enjoy yours?’
The wind wailed and hit the shutters. Out of the corner of her eye, Calypso noticed that the petals of the buttercups had fallen on the table. She had to restrain herself from shouting.
‘He will learn to enjoy it. I have time, all the time in the world. His wife cannot say the same. Even his son will eventually turn to dust. And he will finally be able to move on.’
'Ah, so you put your trust in the workings of Chronos, the god of time. A touching method, mortals claim, but even they can tell the difference between it and a vain hope. How long has it been, darling? Seven years, if I count correctly?'
She slammed her hands on the table, glancing at him over her shoulder.
‘Oh, please, what is seven years?’
‘For us?’ waved the Caduceus between them. ‘Nothing. For them?’ he waved his hand towards the window. ‘It's a bit more complicated.’
‘Why do you care? Why couldn't you fly over my island without looking back, like you always do?’
‘For many reasons. If only for the fact that, as you know, I am the god of travellers. What kind of a patron would I be if I didn't make sure that such a determined man didn't make it home?’
‘He is home.’
Although Hermes took a compassionate tone, his face remained sullen.
‘A lie doesn't suit your eyes, darling.’
She clenched her fists and furrowed her forehead.
‘I won't let you-’
Hermes was no longer sitting behind the table. He was hovering over her, and his eyes, though hidden by the shadow of his helmet, glittered with rage.
‘You will let me speak, for as the Messenger of the Gods, I speak not only with my voice, but also with the voice of Zeus, the King on Olympus. You will let Odysseus go. You will end his torment. You will let him sail home. You will give him everything he needs for the journey. And then you will come back here and learn to live without him.’
Calypso didn't think she could still be afraid of anything after all these years. She took a step closer and raised her head so that their noses nearly touched.
‘He's going to die.’
Hermes tilted his head.
‘Let me worry about that, darling.’
His voice was cheerful again.
He moved away from her and began to play with the dried flowers.
She stood in silence, afraid that if she opened her mouth she would start to cry. Finally, she quieted the storm in her chest.
‘What if I convince him?’ she looked at the god, a challenge burning in her eyes. ‘What if he decides to stay?’
‘Then I will be more than impressed, darling, even as a god whose one of his myriad talents is deft eloquence.’
Hermes moved closer to her. In his hands he held a garland braided with petunias, monkshoods and yellow carnations. Fatal was a crown for the queen of Ogygia.
She had not brought those flowers. She took one last look past the set table and the cold food. The only flowers she had brought herself that had not fallen from their strength were yellow roses, the scent of which now made her choke.
Hermes adorned her head with a garland in the gentlest of motions.
‘Go on, Calypso. I shall watch.’
The wings rustled and Calypso was alone. Again.
___
I hope you enjoyed a little dangerous Hermes c:

How would Tokyo Revengers react to their girlfriend s/o taking a hit for Emma and dying instead of her.
A/n / warning: Note this is kind of going to be really sad headcanons. I am just warning you all before you read this. This is going to mention death and is going to be really sad.
Mikey:
Tumblr media
Mikey's heart shattered into a million pieces as he watched his beloved Girlfriend s/o take the fatal blow meant for Emma. The sound of the metal baseball bat striking against their body echoed in his ears, sending a wave of agony through his entire being. In that moment, everything seemed to move in slow motion as he rushed to their side, his hands trembling as he tried to hold onto them, hoping against hope that they would open their eyes and smile at him once more.
But as s/o whispered their final goodbyes, Mikey felt his world come crashing down around him. Tears welled up in his eyes, blurring his vision as he clutched onto them desperately, unwilling to accept that they were gone. He could hear Emma's sobs in the background, her grief mirroring his own, but he couldn't tear his gaze away from s/o's lifeless form.
In a daze, Mikey tried to shake s/o awake, his voice cracking as he begged them to come back to him. But the reality of the situation hit him like a ton of bricks, and he collapsed to his knees, his heart aching with a pain unlike anything he had ever felt before. The loss was unbearable, the guilt of not being able to protect them weighing heavily on his shoulders.
As he looked up at the sky, tears streaming down his face, Mikey vowed to avenge s/o's death. He would make Kisaki pay for taking away the light of his life, and he would ensure that s/o's memory lived on in his heart forever. But for now, all he could do was hold onto the memory of their love, a love that had been tragically cut short.
The last words he said to his S/o who was dying in his arms: "Stay with me baby. I can't bear to lose you. Please, don't leave me. I need you... I love you."
Draken:
Tumblr media
Draken's world came crashing down the moment he saw his girlfriend s/o lying lifeless on the ground, a victim of Kisaki's ruthless attack. His heart shattered into a million pieces as he knelt beside her, desperately trying to wake her up, to hear her voice one more time. But she remained still, her eyes closed, her body cold.
Tears streamed down Draken's face as he cradled her in his arms, unable to accept the cruel reality of her death. The pain in his chest was unbearable, aching with the loss of the person he cherished more than anything in the world. He couldn't understand why she had to be taken from him, why fate had been so merciless.
As he looked at her peaceful face, memories of their time together flooded his mind. The laughter they shared, the moments of pure joy and love they experienced, all now tainted by the devastating loss. Draken felt a deep sense of guilt for not being able to protect her, for failing to keep her safe from harm.
In that moment of grief and despair, Draken made a silent vow to avenge her death, to make Kisaki pay for the pain he had inflicted on him and on his s/o. He would not rest until justice was served, until he could find some semblance of peace in a world that had turned dark and cruel.
And as he held her lifeless body close to his chest, Draken whispered words of love and sorrow, promising to always remember her, to carry her memory in his heart until the end of his days. He knew that he would never be the same without her, that her absence would leave a void that could never be filled. But he also knew that he would honor her memory by fighting for a better future, by ensuring that her sacrifice would not be in vain. And with that determination burning in his soul, Draken rose to his feet, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead, fueled by the love and loss of the one he had lost.
The last words he said to his S/o who was dying in his arms: "Stay with me, please. Don't leave me alone. I can't do this without you. I love you more than anything. Fucking fight, don't give up on me now. I need you. Please, stay with me."
Takemichi:
Tumblr media
Takemichi's world shattered into a million pieces when he witnessed his beloved Girlfriend s/o take a fatal blow meant for Emma. The sound of the metal baseball bat hitting her body echoed in his ears, haunting him with the image of her falling to the ground. His heart clenched in agony as he rushed to her side, desperate to save her, but it was too late.
Tears streamed down his face as he held her lifeless body in his arms, his mind unable to comprehend the cruel reality of her death. The pain of losing her was like a dagger through his heart, leaving him gasping for air as he struggled to accept the harsh truth.
Takemichi's determination, usually unwavering, crumbled in the face of such a devastating loss. He felt lost, alone, and broken beyond repair. The guilt of not being able to protect her consumed him, filling him with a deep sense of regret and sorrow.
As he mourned the loss of his s/o, Takemichi vowed to carry her memory in his heart forever. He would never forget the sacrifice she made for Emma, and he would honor her by fighting for a better future, one where such senseless tragedies could be prevented.
But deep down, he knew that his world would never be the same without her by his side. And as he lay awake at night, haunted by memories of her smile and her laughter, he whispered her name into the darkness, longing for her presence once more.
The last words he said to his S/o who was dying in his arms: "I love you more than anything in this world. You've brought light into my life, and I'll carry your love with me forever. Thank you for being my everything. Please know that you'll always be in my heart."

Reverberate AU - Trick
Daemon is there for the twins' first steps.
Since Reverberate AU has already passed the twins' first steps...that meant I couldn't do a proper trick here (write the next paragraph). Alas, that means you get a 1K treat instead of their first steps!
Bonus Treat: Reverberate!AU First Steps
“This is ridiculous,” Rhea said, surveying the course Daemon had set up in the currently-empty hall.
Chairs formed a broken line down the length of the hall, spaced several feet apart. On each rested a toy or treat, all of them selected from his sons’ favorites, designed to provide the perfect temptation to take their first steps.
His sons had watched him set it up with a skepticism that matched their mother’s, each clinging to one of her legs to stand upright. Daemon crouched down to kiss each of them on their soft, round cheeks. “Can you walk for your kepa?”
He took a step backward, then another, and both their gazes followed him, though they continued holding onto Rhea. Daemon walked slowly through the course, picking up each prize to reveal dramatically before setting it back down with emphasis, until he had reached the very end, some forty feet distant.
Jon was the first to let go of Rhea’s leg, and Daemon encouraged him loudly from across the hall. “Can you find the blueberries, Jon?”
His son took one wobbly step in his direction, and Daemon’s breath caught, torn between anxiety that he might fall back onto the hard stone tile of the hall—and anticipation. Another step followed, then another, slow with determination. Daemon swallowed a shout of excitement, not wanting to startle him, but his chest continued to swell as Jon approached the first chair and its bounty of blueberries—
Only to continue past it. His son’s gaze was fixed on Daemon, his tiny brow wrinkling as he continued to toddle. Faster, then faster, until he was nearly tripping, hands flailing at his sides for balance as he crossed the length of the chair-line, refusing to avail himself of any for aid.
Daemon dropped to a knee just in time to catch Jon as he barreled into him, springing to his feet then, with him in hand, to a shout of triumph. He spun his son around until dizziness set in, breathless laughter overtaking him, joy filling him at Jon’s answering giggles.
His first steps. I have seen his first steps.
Not as they would have been, with Elys and Corwyn Redfort, but as they should have been.
Daemon smothered him with kisses before setting him down finally, looking back toward Rhaegar. His younger son almost seemed to be waiting for something, though he was not sure what.
“Rhaegar—” Daemon paused, trying to think of a suitable temptation, since his chair strategy seemed to have failed. “Come to your kepa, and we shall ride Caraxes.”
Caraxes proved an irresistible lure. His son’s fists loosened their grip on Rhea, and Daemon smiled encouragingly at him. Rhaegar’s first steps held a similar trepidation to Jon’s, but he continued onward. Like his brother, he bypassed the distracting treats along his path, but he kept his pace steady throughout, slow and deliberate, until he was close to Daemon—at which point he too broke into a waddling trot.
Daemon scooped him up, tossing him up high above and then catching him. He could feel Rhea’s anxiety from across the room, so he restrained himself to just two tosses before hugging him to his chest to pepper him with celebratory kisses of his own. Rhaegar caught his hair in two fistfuls, yanking on it with merriment. “Awazhee.”
“Is that all I am to you?” Daemon teased. “Your personal saddle for Caraxes?”
Rhaegar blinked, purple eyes brimming with sudden upset and Daemon murmured soothing apologies until it had mostly subsided. He crouched again, as he had with Jon, and sprang to his feet again, tossing him even higher than before to catch him a third time, and all distress was forgotten by the time he had set him down beside his brother.
Rhea was watching them from across the hall, her grimace at his final toss still present. She called out her own congratulations, her own joy muted, and Daemon bit back a sigh, equal parts impatience and regret.
He felt more certain than ever that she had held herself apart from them before out of guilt, knowing that she had stolen them—and that guilt had prevented her from enjoying the spoils of her theft. He had never known how to feel about the opportunities she had squandered with his sons; had she loved them as a mother, his jealousy would have been a hot and bitter thing, nursed for years. But the more time he spent with them as infants, the more his heart hurt at the thought of them having grown up bereft of any parent’s love.
They deserved the love of both parents here in this world. The sooner Rhea accepted them as a gift to be cherished rather than a prize she had stolen, the better.
Daemon put a gentle hand to each of his sons’ backs. “Will you go to your mama now? Else she will be sad that you have only shown your kepa your love.”
This time it was Rhaegar who waddled with reckless abandon, Jon moving more cautiously behind him, but they walked the length of the course once more to crash into Rhea, who blinked away tears as they called for her. She picked one up in each arm, her strength impressive for a woman of her size, and kissed their hair as she bounced them lightly.
“Not so ridiculous as you thought,” Daemon said, once he had rejoined her.
“They did not touch a single one of your chairs,” she said, but she was smiling now.
“Or perhaps the chairs were the very insult they needed to prove themselves.”
Daemon went to the first chair and picked up the bowl of cooked blueberries. He offered them a spoon each, but only Rhaegar took him up on the offer. Jon spurned the spoon to stick his hand directly into the bowl to lick from his fingers. His other hand reached for more, and Daemon read his intent far too late.
“Purple suits you,” Rhea assured him as he glanced down at his blueberry-streaked hair.
“Bath,” Daemon informed Jon with a mock glare, to his son’s unrepentant howl of laughter. “And then Caraxes.”

• she’s incredibly protective of you. One wrong look your way and she’s ready to start shooting or swinging. Shes so a ‘ why don’t ya take a picture, it’ll last longer ‘ baby has some slight anger issues
• falls very much into the ‘ I hate everyone except you ‘ category. So stoney faced and ready to brawl with everyone, but soft gazes and tender touches with you.
• you hear her before you see her. She’ll ride back home to you after going after a bounty and proudly announce her return with a ‘ honey I’m home! ‘ as she rides up to your home.
• secretly adores the way you fuss over her before she goes out. She lost everything other than you in the space of like. A year. so it’s nice to be reminded how much you care about her. And that she has someone in the world to care about herself.
• she’s actually a pretty decent cook. And you can often expect her to try cook you something nice. Especially if she’s gotten onto your bad side some how, she knows a nice romantic meal will butter you up nice and quick
• I have this thought that she is just a nightmare to share a bed with. Girly tosses and turns and takes up too much damn space. But it just gives you the excuse to crawl up close to her and get comfy in the little space she leaves, falling asleep practically on top of her.
• and on the subject of sleeping. Has just the finest motherfuckin morning voice you’ve ever heard. Her raspy ‘ Mornin my darlin’ in your ear everyday makes you wanna melt into a puddle every damn time.
• loves sharing a bath with you. Especially if she’s been gone for a few days. She’ll make some excuse that it’s just to save on water. But in reality she just wants to relax and hold you close to her, feel your skin on hers to remind her she’s not just some angry bounty hunter. All tough and rough and fighting. She needs the gentle and the calm you provide her.
• hand holding. Forehead kisses. Sitting in her lap as you read on the porch. Just small, gentle acts of intimacy. The kind not discussed but well practiced between lovers.
• she can get in her head a little sometimes. She knows it’s not easy being in a relationship like that in 1907. And she knows that she doesn’t make it much easier on you with the works she does either.
• but she loves you wholeheartedly. And she knows that you love her just as equally. And as much as she feels she doesn’t deserve you, she’ll keep loving you until you don’t want her anymore which would never happen of course
•NSFW•
• she needs to be the one in control all of the time. This isn’t to say she doesn’t like receiving, or like having you on top of her. She just likes to be the one with her hands on the reins yk.
• in fact. She quite enjoys you on top of her or In her lap. But even so, know that she’s the one pulling the strings and she’s two steps ahead of you at all times
• she’s gentle and soft with you, but determined. Whether that’s knowing exactly where to touch you and abusing that same spot over and over again until you’re a shaking mess. Or telling you where and how to touch her.
• I said this in my last hcs but fingers in the mouthhhhh. Idc what anyone says. I see it so vividly. She loves it. Loves watching you suck her fingers to get them wet. Or clean them off.
• eats pussy like a god. Will have you seeing stars and thanking whatever Lord may exist for putting that woman right between your thighs. Sloppy and thorough and has you coming with her name on your tongue.
• thigh riding!!!!
• girly loves to manspread. Will sit there and pat her leg for you to perch on, but manoeuvre you to straddle her leg instead. And she loves how it makes you blush ‘ you’re a regular ol’ cowgirl now ain’t ya honey? ‘ as she leans back in her seat to watch you I’m literally going insane
• morning sex!! Waking up spooning with her, teasing her by wiggling your hips against her until she slips a hand over your hips and between your legs
• ‘ this what y’ wanted? Been dreamin of me honey? ‘
• will absolutely get up afterwards as casual as ever and ask what’s for breakfast. As if she hadn’t just had her fingers buried in your cunt.
• her aftercare is just so gentle. Especially if she’s been gone a while and has you coming for hours on end. She’ll praise you and hold you and help clean you up. Maybe drag you into the tub with her and sit behind you to wash your hair.
• and she enjoys the intimacy of dressing you so much more than undressing. Getting you comfy and cosy in clean night clothes before snuggling up with you in bed, letting you rest your head on her chest and tangling up your legs together.

A Lesson and Love
Halsin x Tav // Halsin x Reader (GN) Summary: An accident in the forest leads to an injured child and a rattled Tav—cue daddy Halsin to the rescue.  A/N: One of my favorite things to imagine are these little vignettes of life after the events of the game, when Halsin and Tav and all the children build a life for themselves in Thaniel’s realm. I love the idea of Tav coming into a more parental role after a life of high adventure, and how out of their depth they feel, especially when it appears to come to naturally to Halsin. And, of course, I’m a sucker for Daddy Halsin just as a concept.   Warnings: broken arm (not graphic), fluff (is it hurt/comfort if it’s just physical pain and not emotional angst lol?)
The sun filters through the tree canopy of the forest just outside Moonrise Towers. The echoes of children’s laughter surrounds you as you relax against a sturdy tree trunk, catching your breath.
You had coaxed the children into their favorite game of chase—not that it took much convincing on your part—in a desperate attempt to rid the children of as much energy as possible, hoping it would make for an easier bed time tonight—a foolish hope considering how endless their energy seemed to be these days.
Not that you mind the extra energy. No, in fact, after everything you had been through, nothing brings you more joy than this life you’ve carved out for yourself: surrounded by children and their boisterous laughter, in a safe haven serving to provide hope and safety to all who need it, and then, of course, there’s Halsin.
Halsin, who you had forged such a deep and lasting connection with over your journey, who shows you the true definition of love and selflessness every day. The love you had found with Halsin will always be the greatest treasure to come out of your ordeal. You’d go through it all a thousand times over again just to end up here, in Thaniel’s Realm, with Halsin, and all the many charges you gained along the way.
The very charges who seemed determined to send you to an early grave.
“Nathaniel, be careful!” You admonish from your spot on the forest floor. The young boy, hardly more than six, makes his way up an oak tree, climbing onto a limb with a carefree dexterity that could only come from a child who had been spending far too much time out in the forest with Halsin.
“I am being careful,” Nathaniel quips back, slowly rising to his feet to grab onto an even higher branch and lifting himself up on it.
“That’s high enough.” Your voice has a final note of warning in it as you rise to your feet. “Come down from there, now.”
“Aww, that’s no fun.” Nathaniel pouts, but ultimately acquiesces, turning his body and kicking his feet over the edge of the branch to begin his decent.
The accident unfolds before you as if in slow motion, but you’re utterly helpless to intervene; feet frozen in place. Nathaniel releases his grip, but his foot just barely misses the lower branch, sending him barreling towards the ground. Your heart stops. A sickening crunch sounds out as he hits the ground, arms out trying to break his fall. There’s a heartbeat of silence before Nathaniel’s wail pierces the air.
You’re at his side in seconds, crouching low to the ground. The other children swarm in around you, their cries of concern and fear adding to the din.
“Back up, now please,” you order, not unkindly, assessing the damage in front of you while also trying to maintain an aura of calmness. A quick observation tells you that Nathaniel’s arm is definitely broken, the crunch you heard earlier serving as its own confirmation, but other than that, plus a few bumps and bruises, he seems okay. The relief is overwhelming.
“Nathaniel, sweet, come here,” your voice has a soft, calming tone to it that seems to have an instantaneous effect. The small boy doesn’t need to be asked twice, scrambling into your lap and holding his injured arm close to his chest. You hold him close, pressing a kiss to his temple, as his cries quiet to low whimpers.
“Cana and Ava,” you call out to the two eldest girls in the group. “I need you two to go find daddy Halsin, okay? Be quick, but be safe.” The pair nod eagerly before dashing off, and you send up a quick prayer to the Oak Father they hurry.
The rest of the children watch on as you continue to soothe Nathaniel, rocking back and forth. More than a few are shedding sympathy tears, the rest in various shades of distress.
“He’ll be okay,” you soothe the group. “But this is an important reason we have to follow rules, even when they’re not very fun. They’re there to help keep you safe.” A ripple of nods tells you they’ve more than learned the lesson and its one they won't be quick to forget.
“Go on,” you nod to the clearing, “go play. Daddy Halsin will be here soon.”
The children reluctantly sulk back to the playing area, though their spirits are too down to continue the game of tag with the same ferocity.
“You’re being very brave right now, Nathaniel,” you murmur, looking down at the child in your arms. He looks so small, and you feel your heart break in two. Nathaniel presses his head up against your chest and sniffs, wiping his nose on his tunic with his good shoulder.
“I’m sorry I climbed up high,” he whimpers, fresh tears falling from his thick eyelashes.
“Oh hush, hush, hush, none of that,” you refute. “The important thing is that you’re safe. A fall from not much higher could have been far worse. Daddy Halsin will be here soon, okay? Just keep being brave, can you do that for me?” You feel Nathaniel’s nod against your chest, and you continue your rocking.
Finally, you hear the thunder of footsteps running through the forest. You turn your head just as a large brown bear bursts into the clearing, two children atop its back. With practiced ease, they slide off, landing softly on the grass and joining the rest of the children who watch in awe as a burst of bright, magical light erupts. The bear disappears, Halsin standing in its place.
“My heart, what happened? Are you okay?” Halsin’s eyes are wide with panic as he takes in the sight of you on the ground, Nathaniel curled around his injured arm in your lap.
At the sight of daddy Halsin, Nathaniel’s tears start up again with vigor. “Daddy Halsin,” he wails. “My arm.” His sobs wrack his tiny body, and you wrap gentle arms around him, starting your soothing rocking again.
Halsin crouches low, getting on one knee. “Now, now, my little adventurer,” his voice is low and gentle. “Let me have a look.”
Nathaniel leans back against you, carefully exposing the broken and swollen limb, a deep bruise already blooming across the surface. Halsin hums in acknowledgement as he examines the limb.
“Hold very still for me,” he warns before closing his eyes and raising a hand sheathed in golden magic. His hand hovers above Nathaniel’s arm, causing Nathaniel to bury his head in your chest. “You’re doing such a good job,” you whisper to the boy, pressing a soft kiss to his forehead.
The glow of Halsin’s magic fades. “There, how does that feel?”
Nathaniel perks his head up and gives his arm a tentative wiggle. “Wow,” he marvels, his eyes growing wide. “It doesn’t hurt anymore!” Jumping up off your lap, he throws both arms around Halsin’s neck. “Thank you daddy Halsin!”
Halsin’s strong arms wrap around the child, and the sight nearly brings tears to your eyes. “Of course, my boy,” he replies. “Try to be more careful now, promise?”
“I will, I promise I will,” Nathaniel hastily replies, already wiggling out of Halsin’s arms and eagerly chasing off towards his adopted siblings.
Halsin chuckles as he takes a seat next to you in the grass.
“Well, he got over that quickly,” you joke, leaning into his side as he wraps a strong arm around your waist.
“These children are strong, resilient. They’ve been through so much at such a young age. It’ll take more than a broken bone to keep them down, I’d wager.”
You hum in agreement, absentmindedly picking at a few blades of grass. “Thank you for coming so quickly,” you murmur.
Halsin says nothing, just pulls you closer, holding you even tighter. “I’ll always be here, my heart.” His warm lips press against your temple.
“You’re so good with them, Halsin. You always know what do to, how to act, what to say.” You can’t stop the sigh that escapes your lips, rustling the small pile of grass blades you’d compiled.
Halsin’s brows furrow. “What is it, my heart?”
“It’s nothing,” you attempt to shrug off his concern, but he knows you all too well.
“Tell me what’s on your mind,” he urges. “Please.”
One look in those green eyes has you giving in. With another sigh, you pull your knees up to your chest, resting your chin atop them. You keep your eyes on the children playing ahead of you as you attempt to sparse apart your thoughts and feelings.
“When Nathaniel fell, there was a moment where I just…” you pause, gathering your breath. “I just froze. I didn’t know what to do. I was terrified. And then I heard him cry and my heart broke into a thousand pieces. There was nothing I could do. I failed him.” You bury your face against your knees.
Halsin nods his head in understanding, letting your words sit in the air for a moment before nudging you with his shoulder. “Would you like to hear my perspective?”
You pause for a beat, before giving a slight shrug of your shoulders.
"I saw you taking charge of the situation. Your fearless heart, your sharp mind, willing to do whatever it takes to take care of the people you care for. You’re relentless in the heat of the moment, whether it’s on the battlefield or here in our home. I saw Nathaniel in your arms; I saw you providing a sense of safety and comfort at a time when he was scared and in pain. You were everything he needed in that moment.”
Halsin’s words of confidence stir you and you raise your head up to look at him.
“I was so scared,” your words are barely above a whisper, a confession. “After everything we’ve been through, I thought I was beyond ever being scared again. But he looked so small crumpled up on the ground.”
“You’re not alone with those feelings, my love.”
At that, you offer Halsin a quizzical expression. “You? I feel like fear isn’t even in your vocabulary.”
“Me? A stranger to fear?” Halsin chuckles. “My heart, as soon as the girls told me there was an accident here in the forest…” He trails off, his voice taking on a somber pitch. “There aren’t words for the way my heart stopped.”
You place a comforting hand against his arm, the thick bands of muscle briefly tensing and relaxing at your subtle encouragement.
“I raced here as fast as I could. It wasn’t until I had you and the children in my sights that I felt I could finally breathe again.”
Halsin covers your hand with his own, a soft smile on his face. “I think perhaps the drawback to living such an idyllic and wondrous life such as this, is that we have so much more to lose now than we ever had before. And there is a fear in that. But I know that this magnificent journey of ours is only just beginning. There is so much more joy to come.” With that final sentiment, Halsin presses a kiss to your forehead. The warmth of his lips against your skin radiates through your entire body, and you tilt your head up to meet his lips with your own.
A chorus of “ewwws” and “yucks” erupts from the herd of children now gawking at the two of you, and Halsin doesn’t bother to hold back his howling laughter.
“To be continued at a later time, my heart,” he murmurs in your ear before pressing another kiss to your cheek and rising to his feet to join the children in play. His grabs two of the closest children in his arms, lifting them up high off the ground. Their squeals of delight pierce the air, and the rest of the children clamber over one another for their own turn.
You smile, leaning back against the oak tree, letting the warm rays of the setting sun graze your face, as you take in the beautiful view before you.

Helloo, can I request priest! Dan Feng x fem! Demon reader? Where Dan Feng is devoted to his God but ends up being in love towards reader, a demon. But he would never admit his true feelings and was in denial, and that denial led him to go the church to ask for forgiveness from his God like "Forgive me, Father, for I have sinned" and just blamed reader for making him fall in love, thinking she puts a spell on him or something. He was concentrating but then reader shows up behind him to annoy him as usual (you can come up with the scenario yourself, but if you can, please make reader have a teasing/flirting side since she's a demon)
‘Lovely Sinner’

-ˋˏ✄┈┈┈┈┈✩┈┈┈┈┈𝄞
‘That’s wrong.’ Dan Feng, laying on his bed, thought to himself. Over and over again, thinking about how wrong it is... How wrong it is, that — he, Dan Feng, a priest, has fallen in love with a demon? A demon of all creatures?! He’s a priest, a well respected one at that! You just appeared in his life out of nowhere, and decided to cling yourself onto Dan Feng. For what? He did nothing to deserve it — right?!
Oh but how his heart fluttered everytime he had thought about you. He was in denial, for so, sooooooo long! Now he’s here, laying in his bed as his heart almost leaps out of his throat at the constant thought of holding you! It drives him insane!!
“That’s it. It must’ve been a spell!” He says, getting up from his bed with determination. He needs to go to church, he needs to pray and ask his father above for forgiveness. That was the only logical explanation Dan Feng could think of — of course you casted a spell on him! Surely if he asks God for forgiveness, the spell will be lifted — no?
...
“Heading to church?” Yingxing asked, watching as Dan Feng was heading out. “Yes, I’ll be back as soon as possible.” His voice shaked. He couldn’t let anybody know about his greatest sin. No, not at all. After all, being in love with a demon is a far more grave sin than any other.
“Dan Feng!” You call out to him as he’s about to pray. He decides to ignore you, not even attempting to bat an eye towards you. Which, agitates you, so you call out again. Again, he ignores. He’s too focused on his prayer. He has to ask his father in heaven for forgiveness! He must!
So you stand in front of him, looking directly at his face and interrupt his prayer by slightly pushing him to the side. “You interrupted my prayer.” He scowls at you. You merely scoff in response. “Well, you were ignoring me and my good looks! I had to do something about it.” Your tail peeked out, wagging a little in joy he finally placed some attention to you. Dan Feng caught notice of your tail, and felt a bit flushed. ‘How adorable’ He thought.
And there, oh how the realization hit... You? Adorable? Blasphemy! You’re a demon! Dan Feng is devoted to his God, finding a demon such as yourself adorable is a sin, a tremendous one!
You caught him, a bit flushed, to which you took the opportunity to tease him for it. “Oh? Am I really that irresistible that you can’t help but blush?” You lean closer to him, smirk on your face, his breathing subconsciously stopping. “No, not at all. You never will be.” He refuted. What a blant lie...
You chuckle, causing his heart to skip a beat. “You and your blasted spell...” he mutters under his breath, inescapable to your ears. “Spell? What spell?” You sat yourself besides him, leaning a bit back, using your hands for support.
He stares at you, a bit perplexed. “The spell you casted on me... The one that makes my heart yearn for you.” Yearn for you? This was the first you’ve heard of this... “you’re a demon. You’re capable of such things! You caused my fantasies!” he tried defending himself.
“a spell...? Fantasies...???” you ponder to yourself. Your mind concentrated on wondering ‘what the hell is this guy talking about...?’ he stares at you in anticipation, hoping you would realize and undo whatever spell you casted upon him.
“explain your symptoms — fantasies in more detail.” you ask. In response, he obliges and starts to talk about his symptoms. The symptoms of where he wants to run his fingers through your hair, watch you put on make-up and occasionally help you, hold you as you drift off to sleep in his arms, let you do his hair in whatever style you want — all of it.
You could feel your heart thumping more and more as he continued talking about his ‘symptoms and fantasies’. Your train of thoughts was running wild, until he broke it with one simple sentence. “the spell that caused me to fall in love with you.” he admitted, looking you directly in the eyes which the moonlight was reflecting on. Hell, he looked so pretty...
You forget to speak. Dan Feng, looking down, thinks to himself. Just as you’re about to say something, he cuts it off with a quick kiss. He’s fallen in love, he can’t deny it. “It’s not a spell, is it?” Dan Feng asks you, pulling you closer to him, watching your face slightly blush before you let a grin break free. “Nope, you’re just a dummy in love” you tease. Instead of him getting upset, he grins back — kissing you once again in the church, moonlight falling upon the two of you. “Gorgeous woman, you are, aren’t you?” he surprisingly teases back. Your response being: “a thousand men could die to have me”
———————————
His grin, unfaltering as he kisses your cheek. “yet I am that one alive man, which managed to have you”
HOLY SHIT WHAT WAS THAT?????????????????????????????

dreamy (from different types of kisses) + angel baby steve <3
— ivy / @inkluvs
i am realizing now how difficult kisses are to write smoothly lolz. hopefully this is okay <333 | 1.3k gn!reader
“You know, I don’t think you’re actually supposed to aim for my toes when we do this.”
Your head falls to his chest in resignation, a groan of equal sentiment dying out in the cotton of his shirt. Even though his subsequent laughter is genial and bright, your face still burns against him. You’re sure if you stayed there any longer that the searing heat of your cheek would leave a discolored patch on the garment.
“You are such a jerk, I’m trying my best!” You argue, pulling back with your eyes squeezed shut and nose facing the wall to avoid his gaze.
He watches with a wide grin as your expression twists in embarrassment. And though he can clearly see that your eyes are closed, he still ducks and tilts his head to make sure they’re level with his own. His stare is stuck on your eyelids, frantically darting between the two to see if you’ll give him the pleasure of opening them any time soon. He laughs again when he sees your timid smile before you pull your chin to your chest.
“How am I the jerk? I’m the one with a broken foot, here.”
As dramatic as he is, the words carry no real annoyance. He’s fine; his foot is intact and he’ll most certainly live. Still, your palm grows sweaty where it’s clasped with his.
It was a silly idea that he’d proposed. Well, enforced to be more accurate. An off-handed comment — a little muddled by a handful of popcorn in your mouth — about having two left feet made him spring up from the couch and offer his hand. He was absolutely determined to help you practice slow dancing, hyping up his adequate sense of rhythm and decent coordination.
And he’d looked so eager, with fluffy hair and old clothes for pajamas, smiling down at you with a fondness that made it impossible to refuse. You take up his offer with little hesitation, figuring it would be easy enough. Plus, it might be worth it to be this close to him for a while, and he’s thanking you for it in his head.
But a couple of scratchy, romantic records later, and all you have to show for it is an imprint of Steve’s big toe on the sole of your sock-clad foot.
While he’s red in the face from laughter and joy, frustration is pulling the corners of your lips into a frown. Because what should be a romantic scene is a little more difficult for you than you want it to be and you might be getting in your own head about it. Admittedly, you’re taking it a bit more seriously than he is.
“I promise I’m trying,” you mutter under your breath, barely audible as you stare down at your feet to make sure you don’t step on him again.
His brows crease in concern at the change in your demeanor. “I know,” he answers softly. When you don’t look up at him, his arm tightens around your waist to pull you against his frame. A reassuring squeeze is sent to your hand before he’s toying with the promise ring on your fourth finger, smiling as he recalls the matching one on his own. He finishes with a deeper cadence, still just as gently, “I know. I was just messing with you.”
There’s a beat of silence between you before he sighs and halts your swaying completely. He smooths his hand up your back, leaving a line of fire across your spine with his blunt nails until they end up at the nape of your neck. Meanwhile, the hand that’s wrapped in yours is guided to his torso, prompting you to hold onto him there instead. All for the greater purpose of cradling your face in his hands.
He knows you too well. A promise of love shines in his eyes as they catch the subtle annoyance hidden in the creases of your face. The softness of his smile, his touch, is a manifestation of that promise and it has you taking a particularly hefty breath to calm the chaos in your chest.
“Hey, you’re doing fine. Promise. Stop worrying that pretty little head of yours.” He looks you in the eye the entire time, rubbing his thumbs over your cheeks to emphasize his final point. And maybe being this close to him was a bad idea because you’re afraid your knees are going to buckle at his attentiveness.
And the fear becomes even more prominent when you spot his eyes dip down to your lips just for a split second before returning. You can feel your heart jump into your throat and the gooey smile being pushed onto your face before you can restrain it. He mimics the same expression, as if it’d be any help to your current state. You’re so out of it, you barely hear him ask, “Wanna keep trying?”
“You make me nervous.”
He blinks. “Me? Why do I make you nervous?”
“Dunno!…’Cause you’re, like…you’re looking at me like that,” you try to explain. It comes out in between nervous laughter, pushed out through teeth glued together in a smile only he can seem to cause. And he decides to take full advantage of it.
“Hmm. Like what?”
His brow raises suggestively before inching closer to you. His mouth just hovers over yours, tauntingly tickling your skin with a smug grin. You swallow down your nerves, nudging his nose with the tip of your own.
“Like…”
You push closer, puckering your lips against his in a kiss that’s barely there. Tenderness seeps through his fingers as they cup your jaw, and scratch the nape of your neck to elicit a sigh from you. His breath hitches at the sound and he’s pushing into the kiss out of poorly constrained excitement. His lips drag slowly, like he’s savoring the taste of you and committing it to memory. He all but whines when you’re finally pulling away for air, resting your forehead on his.
His lips are slick and kiss-bitten, face flushed and ears bright red. His chest is heaving and his eyes are closed in bliss. He looks wrecked and you’re not doubting that you look the same, but looking at him like this makes your stomach flutter.
You giggle, this time a more deliberate sound. “You’re distracting me.”
He huffs in disbelief and pulls back to look at you. You can feel his hands grow warmer in your skin with each passing second, the blush on his face deepening. “You’re distracting me! I’m supposed to be teaching you.”
“Well, you’re not doing a very good job,” you wince playfully, nudging his wounded foot.
As if it were possible, his smile widens and an airy laugh reverberates in his chest. “Yeah, cuz you’re looking at me like that.”
He dives in to capture your lips once more and hums at the contact. It’s notably more difficult this time around, your smiles getting in the way as your teeth clumsily scratch against each other. But it doesn’t stop either of you from pressing on, lips locking and clicking with every ebb and it makes your fingers twist into his tee. He pulls back with his lips comically puckered and placing them on your forehead for one final kiss.
“You're fine. You’re gonna get it, hmm?” He looks at you expectantly and you just about melt in his arms. It’s a silly thing, sure, but he sounds so sure, so confident in you. And his brown eyes are wide and teeming with ardor. You nod, a huge grin on your face.
“Let’s just hope you’re not in a cast by then.”

can i use you up?
pairing- sirius black x auror!reader warning(s) - angst. a/n- a different take on my style of writing.
little train series masterlist.
Tumblr media
sirius wanted nothing more but to punch the wall beside him. his feet were atrociously restless and he felt something within him that he'd never felt before. he was sure his knuckles would turn white with the grip he had on the newspaper.
in a span of a few years, he'd escaped the treacherous hold of his nightmares, been accepted into a place he could happily-safely call home. he'd escaped the prison- the hell hole that bound him down, depriving him of the ever sweet freedom. he had found people he could keep close and call home.
little did he know his home was really only just the town where he'd be arrested.
he didn't know he'd be barricaded to his ghosts, tied together with his pasts and prison. he didn't know he'd been bound by shrieking dementors that'd reminded him of his memories he'd so carefully concealed within the corners of his mind.
and with each passing day, when his trial is put off, he feels his hope blur and the fire of rebellion seeded within the crevices of his heart die.
he feels his last bit of sanity fade.
*-
sirius doesn't get any visitors. he never expected any the moment he'd been thrown away into the cell. so when the dementors rattle down on the cell, he grumbles, turning and tossing onto the stone floor.
'sirius!' moody's loud voice bellows. sirius recognizes it, he's learnt to memorize it and hate it so very well.
'what is it alastor!' he screams back. he fills the rage fill him up again. he likes it when he's left alone - when he's not treated like an animal in a zoo. he feels revolting, it scars him into the very depth of his skin.
'the ministry has decided to look into your case once again.' alastor says. his fake eye moves erratically. sirius has learnt to not let the joy affect him. the dementors don't scare him, no. the memories do. so with lifeless eyes, a true contradiction to the gaze of sirius black, he stares at him.
'i thought the ministry was far too fed with injustice? did their big fat brains come back to senses again? or is today april fool's alastor?' he spits.
'black, mind it. i might change my mind.' he piercingly glares at him. he chooses to stay silent and not give him a reaction upon his statement.
'who's taking on my case?' he asks, silently. he's quietened down. he doesn't want the emotions to overrule his logics.
'i am.' a new voice replies. sirius stares for the source of the voice, suddenly interested.
you appear from the shrouded darkness. staring ahead into his piercing gaze, you stand determined on the floor. as formality you offer him your name. he shakes his head, gazing at your form up and down. you shiver under his cold gaze.
'what interests you in my case, young lady?' he asks. to establish your seriousness, you stare right through his cold gaze.
'the injustice.' you whisper. he stares at you before his face breaks into a mocking smile which turns into a harsh, cruel laughter. his head heats up with rage he's never felt before.
'injustice?' he spits. 'i've to believe suddenly all you have gotten your senses back and you should hold a trial for someone who was arrested without proper evidence?' he waits for you to say something. he notices a shift in your body language as you relax your shoulders and shift your eyes on the ground before staring into his again.
'i don't care if you believe me or not. what i can promise you is that i'll give you your freedom.' you say, so serenely. for a moment, he feels a pang of jealousy at your calm state. but it quickly dissipates when the rage controls him over again.
'is that so? what lovely words! why should i believe that you don't think i'm the killer? what confirmation do i get, young lady?'
'that's a fair point you've got there mr. black. but i believe you because...well there's no way you could've been the cold blooded killer. i can only promise you and give you the surety of my words. if you insist, i can make the unbreakable vow with you.'
'you can't do that,' grunted moody, 'it'll trigger the dementors.'
'fine. if he wants, i can make the vow on the day of the trial.' alastor grunts.
'no.'
'yes,' you emphasize. 'do you want me to make the vow? will you believe me then?' sirius stares at you. he tries to decipher through the curtain of your blank stare.
'yes.' he says, his voice quiet and seemingly calm. within him, however, he breaks. he hears the hurricane with his name on it, coming nearer and nearer. the blood rushes to his ears, and he buries the heat within himself.
so, he does his best to lay to rest all of the feelings that have been in his heart. but in his mind, they sink into a swamp.

Birthday Boy → Blackpink 5th Member
Synopsis: When she spends the day with her favorite person on his 27th Birthday.

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
9:30 PM April 5th
"Only a couple hours left," she sighed, sliding the fragrant cake out of the oven and onto the counter, where she began to prepare the icing. Originally intending to start this process much earlier in the day, but unforeseen obligations had postponed it until now.
It was her boyfriend's birthday, and the anticipation swirled in her chest. Mingyu was turning 27, marking their second celebration together. Last year's festivities had been rushed, with her tour schedule limiting her preparations. But this year, she was determined to go above and beyond, ensuring he felt truly cherished and adored.
With each dollop of icing and every carefully placed decoration, she poured her heart into the creation. Mingyu deserved nothing but the best, and she was determined to make this birthday one to remember.
After hastily finishing the cake and placing it in the fridge, Mirae rushed to get herself ready, ensuring she had ample time to reach Mingyu's house and surprise him. With a quick text to Wonwoo, letting him know she was on her way, she grabbed the cake and hurried out the door.
Navigating through the apartment complex with a mix of excitement and nerves, Mirae couldn't help but smile at the thought of Mingyu's reaction. As she approached his doorstep, her heart raced with anticipation, eager to see the joy on his face when he saw the cake she had lovingly prepared just for him.
She grinned as Wonwoo opened the door, only five minutes left till midnight. Quietly, she asked him where Mingyu was. "He's in his room," he replied softly, following behind her as she headed straight to the kitchen to quickly prepare the cake for the surprise.
With deft hands, Mirae placed the candles on the cake and lit them up, the warm glow adding to the excitement in the air. They then made their way outside his door and waited in the hall, their anticipation mounting as the clock ticked closer to midnight.
When the clock struck midnight Wonwoo, opened the door and let Mirae go first as the pair sang happy birthday. Mingyu who was laying on his bed with his phone in his hand got up quickly shocked at the surprise.
"What the hell" he said laughing as he made his way over, he smiled at the pair and said thank you before blowing out the candles. Mirae smiled and placed the cake on his nightstand as he hugged and thanked Wonwoo before coming to her and hugging her tight.
"I thought you were busy tonight?" he said softly nestling his head between her neck and shoulder and holding tight to her waist, "I can always make time for you gyu" She said softly before pulling away remembering that Wonwoo was still in the room.
The trio made their way into the kitchen, chatting and indulging in cake until Wonwoo excused himself to his room, leaving Mingyu and Mirae alone. With Wonwoo's departure, Mingyu pulled Mirae onto his lap, planting a sweet kiss on her lips.
"Thank you so much," he whispered against her neck, peppering it with gentle kisses. Mirae responded with a soft smile as Mingyu continued to shower her with affection.
"Hey, it's your night tonight, baby," she murmured, gently pulling away and taking his hand. Leading him towards his room, they disappeared into the quiet confines, ready to celebrate his special day together in their own intimate way.
11:30 AM April 6
As sunlight filtered through the window, Mirae stirred from her slumber, greeted by the soft sound of Mingyu's snoring and the warmth of his arm wrapped around her waist. With a contented smile, she shifted slightly and turned towards him, nestling into the comforting curve of his chest, relishing in the intimacy of the moment.
Aware of the day ahead and the plans awaiting them, Mirae knew they should rise from bed and start their activities. However, as she lay enveloped in Mingyu's embrace, she found herself torn between the allure of their shared warmth and the demands of the outside world. In that fleeting moment, all she desired was to linger in his arms a little while longer.
Reluctantly pulling away from Mingyu's embrace, Mirae gently disentangled herself from his arm, placing a tender kiss on his cheek before softly calling his name into his ear. With a gentle caress of his head, she whispered his name again, coaxing him awake. As he stirred beneath her touch, she leaned in to kiss his lips, his eyes fluttering open in response.
"Hey, baby," she greeted him with a soft smile, giggling at the adorable expression on his face as he rubbed his eyes and stretched. "Good morning," she chuckled, sitting up beside him as they welcomed the new day together.
The pair got up and dressed before heading out to a nearby cafe for a cute little brunch date, savoring each other's company over coffee and pastries. Afterwards, they returned to Mirae's house, where she had his gifts prepared.
As they entered her home, she ushered Mingyu to the couch, where he settled in comfortably. Mirae hurried off to her room to retrieve the gifts she had carefully chosen for him, leaving Mingyu to play with her dog, Luna. Returning with five beautifully wrapped gifts in hand, Mirae couldn't contain her excitement as she presented them to Mingyu, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.
"All of these?" he exclaimed, his eyes widening in surprise as he looked at the array of gifts in front of him. With a grateful smile, he eagerly began unwrapping each one, discovering a couple of items of clothing in one, some shoes from his favorite brand in another, followed by new headphones, and finally, his favorite item: a new watch from his preferred brand. Mingyu couldn't help but feel overwhelmed by Mirae's thoughtfulness and generosity.
"You didn't have to do all this," he whispered, his voice filled with appreciation as he pulled her into a tight hug and kissed her deeply. "You deserve it so much," she replied, returning the hug warmly.
Taking the watch out of the packaging, Mirae placed it on his wrist with care. "Let's see how it looks," she said, clasping it securely. Mingyu smiled as he admired the watch. "It's perfect," he declared, before pulling her onto the couch and showering her with kisses once again.
The pair spent the rest of the day cocooned in each other's arms, savoring the warmth of their togetherness. Eventually, Mirae decided it was time to break away and prepare a homemade dinner.
With care and love, Mirae prepared a delicious meal, delighting in the opportunity to spoil Mingyu on his special day. They shared a cozy dinner, filled with laughter and sweet moments, before settling in to watch movies and TV shows for the remainder of the evening.
As they enjoyed each other's company, they also took the time to respond to the flood of birthday messages Mingyu received, adding to the warmth and joy of the day. For Mirae, there was no greater pleasure than being able to spend such a perfect day with him, ensuring that every moment was filled with love and happiness.
She felt incredibly blessed to have his presence in her life every day. He was her safe haven, her rock, and she cherished every little thing about him. The thought of spending more birthdays by his side filled her heart with joy and anticipation. She looked forward to growing old with him, experiencing new adventures, and creating countless memories together. With him by her side, she felt ready to take on whatever the future held, knowing that their love would guide them through it all.
As the clock neared midnight and his birthday drew to a close, she gently cupped his face in her hands and pulled him close. With a soft smile, she whispered, "I hope you had the best day, baby. Happy birthday once again." Then, she leaned in and pressed her lips to his in a tender, heartfelt kiss just as the clock struck midnight, marking the end of his special day.

At times of chaos, a little bit of happiness seems to drive everyone away from their troubles. When there was an announcement of an engagement at the cantina on one particularly glum day, things started to take a turn for the better. There were a lot of tears, all tears of joy as the glimmer of happiness sparked a whole lot of peace in people’s minds.
You grinned at the happy couple, one a member of the red squadron and the other a tech at the operating base, who also happens to be your best friend, Kamira. They looked so elated and their happiness was clearly contagious. You congratulated the couple, kissing your best friend’s forehead and bringing her in for a hug
“Be my maid of honour,” she whispered through her tears and you nod without a second of hesitation.
It took you a while to gather yourself but you were determined to make this the best wedding ever, to make it the best glimmer of hope the resistance has ever seen.

You were now trudging around a busy market place, searching for the final accessories you were adding to Kamira’s bridal headdress, a small  astromech droid rolling at your heels telling you to hurry up.
“Yes, BB, I won’t be long. Go on, go bother your dad.” you said, turning to chastise the irritated droid.
It was then when you realised that the man in question was not behind you. You stopped and looked around, frowning when you couldn’t catch the unruly mop of curls or sharp stunning brown eyes
“Wher- Bebs, where’s your dad?” you knelt down to pat his round head. BB-8 made a sound that sounded something like “ Don’t care, am mad.” and you rolled your eyes at the droid.
“He can be mad all he likes, I’m not buying him new fittings until he learns how to behave himself.” a soothing masculine voice with a hint of authoritativeness cuts through the buzzing sounds of the market making you smile.
You gathered your face into a frown before turning to face him.
“You went into a whole lecture about me running off too far when you can waltz off wherever you want and whenever you want?” you poked the man’s chest as he stared you down with a smirk on his handsome face.
“You hadn’t even noticed how long I’ve been missing.” He raised his eyebrows indignantly at you and you couldn’t help the smile at creeped up onto your face.
“Oh shut up, Poe, here, hold these bags.” you shoved your things into his arms and walked away before he could catch anything else from the expression on your face.
Your friendship with the Black Leader had been a unrequired one. You had been working late one night, deep in focus when an X-Wing swooped into the base and landed slightly clumsily. You squinted into the darkness and quickly ran towards the ship when no one came out of it. You pried the foggy glass covering the cockpit open and you were shocked to find Poe Dameron semi-conscious and on the verge of death.
You had pulled him out with all of your strength, hulling the 80 kg pilot onto one of your trolley’s and pushing him to the med bay, screaming for help. You hadn’t heard from him for about two weeks when suddenly one of your favourite droids, an orange and white astromech, delivered a little message for you from Poe. You both got along amazingly and now here the pilot was, helping you search for wedding preparation things.
You watched as Poe adjusted the large bag of items on his shoulder as he bargained with a seller. You couldn’t deny that he was a beautiful man to look at. His sweet mannerisms and innocent eyes meant that he could easily get his way at times but you allowed it. The setting suns created a beautiful glow that complimented Poe’s tan skin and brown eyes, turning them into caramel orbs that sparkled like gems at a distance. Poe turned to you with a triumphant smile, indicating that he had won the bargain as the shopkeeper mumbled something and stuffed the things into another bag.
“Come on, it's getting late, we should get some rest.” Poe’s voice cuts through your thoughts and the both of you walk towards a nearby inn.

“What do you mean one room?” Poe runs a hand down his face and takes a deep breath.
“We’re all booked up unfortunately,” said the bored receptionist.
“It's alright Poe, we’ll adjust, we’ll take the room sir.” you said, hooking your arm around Poe and grabbing the key that was set out in front of him giving the receptionist a forced smile.
Whatever negatives Poe and you thought about the room had been magnified to tenfold when you unlocked the door. The floor was absolutely filthy and the room was cramped, with a bed that was too big for its space. You turned to Poe who was staring into the room with the same expression you had brewing in your head. You couldn’t help but giggle and pinch his cheek at how blatant his emotions were showing through and he snapped out of it, following you into the room.
BB-8 was camping the night in his little astromech pod on the ship Poe flew you in. That just left you and Poe to find somewhere to crash for the night before heading back to base when the suns arose. You sigh and pull out a few scarfs that you brought with you for comfort, laying it on the bed so that you could have some peace of mind when you sleep. It took you a while to realise that Poe was staring like a lost child.
“You okay?” you turned to Poe, a worried look on your face.
“Uhm, yea sure. I’ll take the floor, you can have the bed.” he mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck bashfully.
“Don’t be stupid, Poe, you can sleep on the bed with me, I’m not going to throw you off the bed in my sleep.” you chuckled.
Truthfully, you were worried about his back. Ever since that accident, he had been complaining about how bad his back would hurt and nothing seemed to solve it. You didn’t want to be the cause of more of his pain, that might essentially take him away from his true love, flying. You gave him a small smile and head to the refresher to freshen up.
A few minutes later, there you were, staring face to face with Poe Dameron, casanova of the resistance. You can’t help but think of the many women and men that this man had bedded and you internally smack yourself for thinking up such vulgarity. You close your eyes and pretend to sleep, eventually lulled to unconsciousness by the soft warmth of Poe’s body heat and his soft breathing.
Poe, on the other hand, was wide awake. His plans of falling asleep in a lone bed were quenched by the bored receptionist and he was now given an opportunity like no other. He knew you were pretending to sleep, so he did too but when your breathing steadied and your eyelids relaxed, Poe laid there and stared at you. He almost never got enough time with you, just to observe you and swim in the feelings that he felt for you. Why would he want to travel to the land of dreams when all he dreamt of was before him?
Now, he pulled himself out of the urge to graze your face with his fingers, to memorise your lips with his. He tucked his hands under the pillow so that they didn’t betray him. Everynight, when he succumbed to the few hours of sleep that he had, he would dream of you. He would see your worried face, the face that you wore when you discovered him at the brink of his death. Your hair was a mess and you had an oil smear on your forehead but Poe thought you were an angel who was going to take him to a better place.
His hands itched to tuck a stray piece of hair that fell on your face as you soundly slept but he reeled himself back again. Suddenly, with a big sniff, you shifted in your sleep and one of your hands landed directly in front of Poe’s nose. He slowly took in a breath and smelled your soft soap and it was then when all of his urges took over him. Slowly, he extracted one of his hands from under the pillow and traced your hand softly, every line etched painstakingly into his brain as his fingers skimmed them, willing himself to remember every single detail.
You didn’t rouse from your deep sleep although a small smile graced your face as your pinky twitches gently. Poe sighed, slowly letting his heart leave its cavity and fill the lines on your hands. He hooked his pinky around yours gently and waited with bated breath to see whether you would be jolted awake. Your pinky stopped twitching but your breathing stayed the same and Poe continued to stare at you until his eyes betrayed him, sleep consuming him like a hungry curse.

You awoke to something warm under your face. It was so soft and smelled like clean skin with a hint of motor oil and leather, giving you a sense of comfort like no other. You nuzzled your nose into the warmth and slowly opened your eyes. All you saw was an arm extending from whatever was under your face and memories of last night flooded back to you. You didn’t move but your eyes met with the sleeping Poe, who was snoring softly, a respectful distance between the two of you, minus the hand that was softly tucked under your cheek.
The rebellious commander looked ethereal in the morning sun, his curls everywhere, his eyebrows and lips set in a neutral position, giving him an angelic resting face. You resisted the urge to close the gap and feel his soft pouty lips on yours. Your heart pounded as you took the chance you had and softly brushed his curls that were at his forehead. The second your hand came in contact with his forehead, a jolt of electricity ran up your spine, and you had to literally pull yourself together and not throw yourself over the sleeping Poe.
His eyebrows twitched and you resumed your original position, closing your eyes. He slowly woke up and his hand that was under your face gently cupped it as a soft sigh emitted from him, twisting at your insides. Your heart was pounding under your chest and you felt the bed dip slightly as Poe slid out of it and pulled his hand with him.
You only opened your eyes as you heard the door to the refresher close. You silently flung yourself out of bed and did your happy dance as all the receptors of your brain fired at once, your heart pumping adrenaline throughout your body making you feel like a mad woman. The sound of water hitting the floor stopped and you bit your lip, sliding back into bed and pretending you just had woken up when Poe opened the door again.
“We’ll leave for the base after we get some breakfast.” Poe said smiling at you and you nod with a knowing smile, a smile that could only be fueled by the sweet feeling that your commander has fallen for you.

You were running now, fabric billowing around you as you ran through the halls, in search of that one door. You found it, keying in the password and letting the door swoosh open before storming inside. Poe turned to look at you, adjusting the buttons to his uniform with a small frown on his face, but the second he properly took a look at you his mouth dropped into a soft smile.
“How’s it going, Commander?” you giggle, realising that he had put all his buttons wrongly, setting a small jar aside and reaching for him.
“I look ridiculous.” he mumbled and you laughed, patting his lapel down and pulling him towards his table.
“You look powerful, trust me.” you say, perching on his table and pushing his shoulders down so that he is seated at the chair.
You reached out for the jar of mousse and lifted his head up by his chin, so that he was at eye level with you. Without a single word, you started to adjust his curls, twisting each piece so that they fall beautifully. Poe was looking at you with his huge tempting eyes, and you looked past them, not wanting to be distracted. Once you were satisfied with his hair, you grabbed some powder and dabbed it lightly on his face.
“Ready for your big speech?” you murmured, smoothing down his eyebrows with your fingers and letting your hands trail over the sides of his face, examining him.
He shrugged, making you nod with a grin, knowing that Poe was more of the pep talk kinda person, preferring to steer clear from large structured speeches. You placed a hand on his chest and slowly pushed him against the chair as your eyes finally met his. They were slightly hooded and he gave you all of his attention, tuning his entire body towards you. You held eye contact, determined not to falter as you started unbuttoning his uniform. You tugged it and righted his buttons, your fingers working slowly and carefully on the intricately ordained uniform. Once you were done, you turned and picked up the mirror behind you, holding it in front of Poe.
“See you look cute” you smile from behind the mirror.
Poe’s hand came to rest atop of the mirror, slowly pushing it down to reveal your face. His eyes were glittering under the dim lights of his room and he was gazing at you with a new look on his face, one of wonder and amazement. You’d recognize the look on his face, the same face he used when he would blow up a TIE in the sky, his face ablaze in the monitor and a maddening expression that made him look like a scientist who had discovered all he wanted to know.
“Yea, beautiful.” he whispered softly as his eyes grazed your face.
He reached his hand out and cupped your cheek, calloused thumb tracing your jawline, making your eyes flutter close and heart quicken instantly.
“Poe…” you breathed, trying to keep your eyes on him.
“So beautiful…” he was getting closer now and you could see the light dusting of pink across his nose.
You held onto the mirror between the two of you like it was your lifeline fingers digging into its hard ridges as Poe’s nose brushed against yours softly. Suddenly a loud beep launched the both of you apart and Poe stood up from his place, turning just in time for the door to whoosh open again.
“Found your data pa- Why are you both looking at me like that?” Finn says, holding up Poe’s data pad.
You adjusted your expression casually at Finn’s raised eyebrow as Poe coughed and straightened his uniform.
“Knock next time, damn.” you heard Poe murmur and you purse your lips, keeping in a laugh.
“Time for the-”
“Right, rehearsal.” Poe said shortly, exiting the room and Finn shot you a look of surprise and followed him a second later, leaving you stunned with your own thoughts.

Poe watched you throughout the ceremony, unable to think of anything else as he watched the way you smiled lovingly at your best friend. Poe found himself replacing the bride and groom with himself and you, his hand coming up to fiddle with his mother’s ring on the necklace around his neck. You would make the most radiant bride, your smile itself would be the highlight of Poe’s day and to be the reason for that smile would be his greatest blessing.
He got through his speech just fine, his eyes searching for everyone except you, worrying that he would stumble along the way if he looked at you. After the ceremony, he looked around for you, his mind racing at the events of the morning and wondering how it would feel to speak to you again. You weren’t anywhere near the party, and Poe had a good idea where you would be. He ran, the resistance of the wind messing up his curls again and his boots thudding against the floor.
He stopped when he caught the sight of you, your cape billowing in the wind as you looked over the balcony at the scenery before you. You looked no short of a queen, your posture regal and your head held high. Poe was mesmerised, even more than he ever was when he had the chance to feel your lips against his moments before. He should have said something to you before he left for rehearsal, his heart now punishing him as he stared at you.
“I know you’re behind me, Poe, I could hear your boots from a mile away.” you said humorlessly without turning around, your voice soft as it carried away in the winds.
Poe approached you slowly, twisting his fingers slightly and taking his place beside you.
“Why?” Poe knew what you were asking and he quite frankly didn’t need you to say more.
“You saved my life, so it's undoubtedly yours.” He said softly but firmly and you turned to look at him with a shocked expression, your eyes wide, not expecting him to say what he just had said.
“Oh Poe,” you breathed, grabbing his hand and tugging him close, claiming his lips with yours as you cupped his face with your free hand.
His arms snaked around your waist as he pulled you closer, deepening the kiss, sighing as his heart gave way completely. He pulled away, but one look at the way your face was flushed made him pull you back for another kiss, one that blazed something so violently inside of him that he found it hard to pull back. Eventually, he rested his forehead against yours as you held onto him, the both of you breathing in each other’s air as your hand rested against his chest, over his heart.
“I-” you tried to say but Poe softly clamped his hand over your mouth and brought your head down to his shoulder, hugging you tightly.
In that embrace you felt it, that glimmer of hope, the best one you had ever seen in your time with the resistance.
