It’s time Seven Some Sentence Sunday! Thank you @lemonlyman-dotcom @nisbanisba and @emsprovisions for tagging me!!

Here’s a snippet from Turn and Burn! I’m going to try to get the first full chapter into posting order sometime within the next couple days.

Roja! You have to get on the trailer!” Carlos is begging now, as he pulls, trying to get the thousand pound animal on the end of the lead rope to yield to him, but she seems to have her mind made up. She is not getting on the trailer. He shifts his weight to one side, pulling her head over in an attempt to throw her off balance so she has to take a step forward. But instead of giving, she yanks her head back and rears; the rope burns Carlos’s hands as she drags him over and pulls free from his grip. She takes three steps back and stops, instinct telling her to run but loyalty making her stay.

Big wet droplets of rain begin to splatter the ground as Carlos collects himself out of the dirt. He reaches for the rope dangling from her halter, but she rears up a second time, snatching the rope away from him, narrowly avoiding capture. Lightning crackles across the sky, illuminating the black night and is followed by a clap of thunder that rattles Carlos to the bone.

“Carlos, we have to go!” Louisa calls, attempting to climb back out of the truck. She sounds substantially more sober than she had when he first shoved her into the back seat, but still drunk.

“Stay in the truck!” Carlos shouts over his shoulder as he grabs hold of Roja’s lead rope. This time she doesn’t pull away. He turns his full attention back to the mare. Her ears are pinned back, flat against her head and she’s pawing at the ground. She’s scared and angry. In the daylight the trailer is manageable, but at night it's a black hole, a tomb containing every evil terror the horse’s mind can conjure up.

Carlos knew this was a bad idea, every single part of him had screamed at him not to come, not to sneak out with his sisters and take Roja with them. Now he’s alone with two drunk sisters and horse that refuses to get back on the trailer. His dad would know how to get her to load, he’d know what to do, but he’s not here. He’s at home and he has no idea they’re out. He thinks about calling him, but if he does that, all four of them are dead meat. Roja rears again, and for a second calling him almost seems worth it.

Carlos grabs hold of Roja’s halter with both hands; she tries to pull away, but he stops her.

“Roja,” he says firmly, forcing calm into his voice, and the horse stops what she’s doing. “I need you to get on the trailer. I need you to trust me. Please.”

A second clap of thunder shakes the earth, and Roja flinches but doesn’t pull away this time. He takes hold of the lead rope once again and turns towards the trailer. The mare hesitates, and for a second he thinks she’s going to try to pull back again, but instead she lowers her head and follows him into the darkness of the trailer, trusting him over her own instincts.

Bruce Wayne had a child that was somehow kidnapped right out of the hospital just hours after being born. He of them ever stopped looking despite how cold the trail had grown.

Years later there is some rouge attack and a civilian child was injured and taken to the hospital. Bruce does a DNA test on the blood found at the scene and concludes that the child is actually his long lost kid.

Dani was planning to sneak out of the hospital the moment the doctors stopped looking at her. Then Bruce Wayne of all people comes in and claims that she is his long lost child. She knows that this is very impossible because she is a clone, but Bruce won't listen to her and she really doesn't want to explain the clone thing to a "normal" stranger.

This does brings up a lot of questions about how Danny ended up living with the Fentons though.

For context: in the tags I discussed about How since in my headcanon Grujaja was taken to the grove young, he was most likely dropped off in buzzhuzz or Milldread since those places explicitly discussed having schools. I ended up choosing to place him in Milldread.

Of course the main issue of this being Grujaja would rather curl up into a ball and die than be anywhere bright and loud and well..... you know how schools can be. The easiest thing to do would be to run and hide somewhere quiet- but that just made everything worse.

There's a reason why he refused to step foot into the town after the god seemed to have gotten angry- we only see him at the edge of the town on the way to hobbyhoo.

Thinking about how if Shermy Pines. And like, if he is the baby, he’d be born in the 1970s and be 40 by 2012 and he’s already a grandad. He had to be a teen dad in the 80s (after a severe economic recession) and then his kid ended up being a teen parent by 1999 (Which is 8 years before ANOTHER SEVERE ECONOMIC RECESSION LOL)

Also he was born into a pretty broken family, probably rarely if ever saw his brothers. Do you think he ever saw Stanley before he had to start pretending to be Ford? Do you think Ford visited from college??? Because he didn’t seem confident facing his father until he made millions, so like???

And, like, do you think Filbrick and Caryn changed as parents by the time they raised Shermy? Because it seems like a trend that as parents get older they mellow out a bit, so Shermy probably has a completely different experience with their parents then Stan and Ford, and talking to them is just “is this seriously the same parents???” (Imagine the silent resentment that’d cause 😭😭😭)

Personally I headcannon that Shermy had a daughter (Mabel and Dipper’s mom) and not a son like it says on the wiki because c’mon. Can he just have a daughter. Idk why this is important to me but… c’mon. Can he just have a daughter. It just feels right to me.

Idk if this is anything but Dean's decision to let Jack sacrifice himself because he cannot withstand the suffering of being a puppet to Chuck's whims any longer reminds me so much of Dean, Righteous Man, breaking under the torture of Hell and turning to torture himself.

He's reached his limit. His family is already splintered, Mary is dead and he's struggling to forgive Jack for it, but there was hope, there was supposed to be rest in sight, they were supposed to have a plan and then time for grief and healing and forgiveness after they won. But no, Jack has to die. And I truly believe that snuffed out Dean's hope. Not even in what is supposed to be the last fight can Dean have peace on the other side because the future he was supposed to have will never come true. There will always be a piece missing.

And Dean is so so so tired, he needs it to stop. If he could give himself as the sacrifice he would, he's tried so many times. And he has, for decades, sacrificed his own happiness because the world needs someone to save it. Chuck has once again bled the Righteous Man dry of all he has to give. So Dean took himself off the torture rack and that part of himself that had hoped to reintegrate Jack back into his family with time and healing was dead, so he picked up his torture instruments and he let someone else take the suffering for once. He let someone else be the sacrifice. And he let his rage block out all the pain so he could get the job done like he always has.

I like to think that I’m not good at writing, I’m good at imagining and I’m good at editing.

Whenever I write, it’s absolute trash. Pure garbage. I would be embarrassed to let anyone else even go near it. But then after I edit and rewrite and edit at least three more times, I can finally see my story start to come together, bringing scenes and characters to life in ways I couldn’t have predicted— and love so much more.

I always have to remind myself not to shoot so high when I first start typing. It doesn’t have to be perfect, it doesn’t even have to be coherent. It just has to exist, and from there I can take it anywhere I want.

Hey i am back with a thought.

I know we already mentioned like. The future future plans concerning kids in the New Age storyline.

I was thinking. Who would carry/get the kid in the couples? (Yes this implies mpreg. If this aint your thing no worries you can just ignore everything else :3 )

As you mentioned before. Nightmare and error would most likely adopt.

Between dream and blue i think blue would end up carrying the kid. Dream would feel too locked up and locked down if he had to take it easy. Also. Let this man pamper Blue. He deserves that.

Ccino and Killer. Ccino wouldnt want kids for a LONG time and even just the idea would be slow going. But killer has his soul situation (is that also a situation in this story?) And he is a knight being out and about. Ccino is safely at home and would be the safer option. But they would need a long time before ccino would feel comfortable with the idea.

Horror and Crop. Crop. Hands down. Horror with his work and Crop has help on the farm. But i doubt thwy would get a kid because they have along distance relationship.

Cross and Lust it depends on who wants it more. I can see both being the one who does it mostly because i can see pros and cons for both sides.

Reaper, Geno and Dust. Only one option. Reaper. Dust doesnt have a healthy enough soul and that with his spell around it? No way he can carry a kid. Geno meanwhile only has a soulshard so he isnt healthy enough to carry a kid either. Leaving only Reaper as an option.

Haha! Omg I keep forgetting this is smth I can think about! Usually it's not my scene so it might not cone up much in-stiry but it IS how I picture the cast having kids in this one, so!!! We're diving in!!

With Dream and Blue it's a bit hard, because I think that Dream would be really really worried about Blue the entire time. Like, terrified his magic would accidentally trigger the whole Twin thing. But, ultimately, yeah, probably Blue! Dream *would* get too restless, and Blue rlly does deserve to be pampered hehe- (I just think Blue would have to really really talk Dream into it. Dream does NOT want to be like his mother anymore.)

Killer and Ccino... let's go with a yes on Killer's soul situation, so Ccino would be their only option. But, like you said, it would be ages before they even thought about discussing the idea, let alone actually having a kid.

Ohhh yeah. I see Horror and Crop as the ones least likely to have kids (as u said, long Distance relationship, but also they just have to much on their plates? They're practical guys and focus on their work and existing families first. Plus, someone has to be the cool uncles to their nieces and nephews!) But definitely Crop. Especially because Horror is pretty low on natural magic as-is and even though his soul is healthy, his body might not even be able to form a firm ecto, let alone anything safe to harbor a forming soul. (Unlike Ccino, Horror was born that way, and the injury didn't help lmao-)

Cross and Lust? I think they'd both regularly get baby fever, but neither of then would be ready to settle down for a *while* in that way, so I think they'd push off the question until years later. Then when it comes up, they 'fight' over it. Insisting that they should carry- I think they'd end up choosing Cross though! As much as Lust seems like the more convenient option, as he's not a knight, Cross is just built different and insists that if anything goes wrong he wants to be the one it happens to. Which, ofc, leads to him doing training whilst in the early stages until someone (probably Killer or Dust) notices he's a little off and then Cross admits he's got a soulling. He did not expect to immediately get horrified looks (because they were fighting someone with a lil guy inside them, not because he has a lil guy) or to immediately get ushered out of training and to his room because??? Idiot??? What were you thinking??? Cross is the worst at staying off his duties, but his brother's have him covered, thank god-

And yep, put perfectly! Reaper is so genuinely the only option! It leads to some odd interactions, since Reaper can't exactly stop being King, but he manages shockingly well and has Geno there to help him (and probably later on Dust, since Night isn't about to leave Dust out of that due to work-) And. I like to think these three in particular have multiple kids perhaps, Kane and then another, and it's kinda a running joke that Reaper's the one hauling them around lmao- (Also very convenient! Because Reaper is the one with death magic in his soul, the kids are effectively immune to it! They were made from that stuff basically, so ofc they're fine!)
