can we stop spreading the complete misunderstanding of how machine learning works? if you give the function an image INPUT, that's not how you train the neural network. honestly they didn't need to tell you they don't save your image because, if you actually know the data and privacy laws of china, they're not allowed to without permission (bc it's user upload), and ALSO, function inputs do not get thrown into the neural network (saved) because those inputs aren't the target style of the set, unless it's explicitly stating that you will be adding the image you upload into the pool of images they're trying to generate an image based off of.
Hey, do y’all remember how Tencent said they were developing faceID AI to identify people in riots, and then they suddenly created an AI art generator to turn your selfies into anime?
Do y’all remember that time that someone discovered facial recognition cameras couldn’t see through Juggalo makeup, then Facebook had a fun “see what you’d look like with Juggalo makeup” thing, and then facial recognition cameras could suddenly see through Juggalo makeup?
Do y’all remember how, on Twitter, Elon started a tirade against artists who ask for credit when their art is reposted, and he suddenly he created one of the first big art AI programs?
Do y’all remember how AI destroyed the field of translation, despite the inferiority of the machine translations, because people didn’t care about the quality of the translations? They just wanted it done for free?
Do you know how companies will see a lot of money going into a New Tech Thing (like, say, AI art apps) and will jump to try and implement that New Tech Thing into their tech? For example, how it felt like every big company and celebrity had an NFT to sell?
Just wondering.

The Cloud Revolution: How Cloud-Based Software is Transforming Industries
Tumblr media
Technology is evolving at an unprecedented rate, reshaping the way businesses operate. One of the most significant shifts we've witnessed in recent years is the Cloud revolution. But what exactly is this revolution, and why does it matter for businesses of all sizes? Let's break it down in simpler terms.
Understanding the Cloud Revolution
Traditionally, businesses used to manage their computer programs and data on their own physical computers. This meant they had to invest in expensive equipment and hire experts to maintain everything. Enter the Cloud revolution, which is like having a magical space on the internet where you can store and use your software and data without needing your own computers.
Why Does the Cloud Revolution Matter?
Think of the Cloud revolution as a superhero that equips businesses with agility and superpowers. Before, businesses needed loads of time and money to set up new software or services. With the Cloud, they can do it in a flash. It's like having a superhero that can change costumes instantly to match the situation – businesses can adapt to changes quickly and stay ahead of the competition.
Changing the Game for Businesses
Here's where things get exciting. The Cloud revolution isn't just about tech-savvy talk; it has real-life benefits for businesses everywhere.
Access to Cool Tools: Imagine having futuristic gadgets like AI, machine learning, and big data analysis in your toolkit. The Cloud lets even small businesses get their hands on these power-packed tools, helping them make smarter decisions and stand out in their industries.
Teamwork, Anywhere: Remember the days when teamwork meant being in the same room? The Cloud makes it possible for people to work together from different places, just like collaborating on a shared online document.
Saving Bucks: In the past, businesses had to spend a lot on fancy computers and software. Now, they can simply rent what they need from the Cloud, like borrowing a tool from a friend instead of buying it. Plus, they only pay for what they use, which is a huge money-saver.
Locking Up Secrets: Security is like having a superhero shield around your valuable information. The Cloud providers make sure your data is super safe with fancy locks and alarms, even more secure than your own computer systems.
The Cloud revolution is like upgrading from an old bicycle to a rocket ship. It's made businesses more flexible, powerful, and efficient. But, like any adventure, there are challenges – like figuring out which Cloud service is best and making sure your data stays safe from cyber bad guys.
In a world where technology rules, the Cloud revolution is the secret weapon that businesses are using to transform industries. So, the next time you hear about the Cloud, remember, it's not just a fancy tech term – it's the superhero cape that's changing the game for businesses everywhere.
