its crazy how competitive gamers (bc apparently this isn't just ffxiv frontlines people) seem to not understand that 'throwing' means losing intentionally (often in exchange for some kind of reward), not losing (unintentionally) in a really stupid way.

great news: daytime ddos (?) this time!
i got yeeted off the server literally seconds after i finished a craft, got lobby errored about three times, then started getting one i don't think i've ever seen before, or if i have it's been so long that i don't remember it (3070 - world data could not be retrieved) and then i got past that only to be put in a queue of 29 people that never moves (it's been 5+ minutes).

#final fantasy xiv#ffxiv#whoever's doing the ddosing needs to get a real hobby#im crafting w/ macros too since this is an old craft that i have to do a lot of so not only will i lose my mats if i 90k#but any time there's a packet loss spike it'll fuck up my macro progression and ruin the craft whether i disconnect or not#so i'm just. sitting here in diadem watching tv camping umbral nodes hoping the connection will stabilize so i can actually craft.

so apparently, according to gamer escape anyway, if i've finished the aloalo variant dungeon paths (or at least the 12th one - i've done them all) this part of the msq was supposed to acknowledge that by adding the dialogue in green...
and it just. didn't. i only found out this part existed when i was looking the quest up to check something.
