Pride Petty Watch (SOTUS) 1/5

The crowd picked two blacklisted shows for me to watch during Pride, which were Love in the Air and The Untamed, and so even though I finished the first, I've stalled on the second, and it's all because of the beast named SOTUS. I watched this show when it aired in 2016, but I don't remember any of it. All I remember is that I'm very mad at it, yet this was the wild card show that was unlocked during the voting, so instead of fearing this show so much that I cannot bring myself to finish The Untamed, I'm going straight to the big boss, and fighting this demon NOW!

It's me and the gear in a battle until the very end, and even though I cannot remember a single thing about this show, as soon as I pressed play, all the hate in my body rose to the surface, so I already know this is going to be a ~journey~

First and foremost, I'm going to give this show and Krist a compliment because I HATE Arthit, which is exactly what I should be doing in the first episode. He is 🎶The Worst🎶 and he leans all the way into it. He snarls. He yells. He forces a girl to give him her number through mere power dynamics and sexism, and this isn't just 2024-me thinking this. 2016-me knows that this character is written well because the worst thing Arthit can think of doing to another man is making him say he is gay.

Then to casually whisper in that man's ear that he could find him a skirt to wear . . .

Arthit really is the epitome of the homophobe-to-homo character and I can't believe that it worked in 2016 since I feel that was late for a character like this to still be a love interest, yet it's still working so well in 2024 because here I am, pissed, pressed, and ready to fuck him up for being the douchiest bro in this damn cafeteria. It's refreshing how much I'm allowed to hate him.

Because even the way he screams Kongpob's name with his student ID every fucking two seconds is setting me off.

And I'm very disappointed in BL Land for only ONE video existing of him screaming Kongpob's name, and it's only the times from the first half of the first episode. Thanks, OP, but we are slacking!

But, honestly, if I had a boy who looked up at me like this every time I screamed his name, I'd probably be a lot worse than Arthit. You know, instigating fights and hands on me or something like that.

And now I'm questioning this series because if these two would just choke each other out then kiss, I would be fully for it and enjoying all my snacks along the way. I'd be fine with Kongpob telling the entire room he would make Arthit his bitch, but Kongpob instead says he'll make Arthit his wife, and . . . the vibe is not as kinky as I need it to be to support all that is being thrown at me from these two.

Which is why I'm heavily shipping Kongpob with M! Kongpob got in trouble for having two books, one which was M's, and had to say he liked men. Now, they are drunk at this table with homophobe Arthit and the hazers are staring them down while Kongpob is just holding M's face.

But let me actually rewatch this show instead of reflecting on how GMMTV messed this enemies AND lovers premise up twice (looking at you, Dangerous Romance) because right now, this show is trying to make me believe the girls would not wave hello to a babyface Off.

Once again, back to the actual rewatch, and because I don't remember a thing about this, I don't know if Wad is good or bad, but him busting out this move when Prem told him to apologize was equivalent to an older white Southern Christian woman telling someone to have a blessed day, so I felt that shade through the screen!

And I'm not victim-blaming, but I do actually think Kongpob and Arthit are trying to push each buttons to see who will break first and fuck (up) the other one because this is not a sane answer to "why did you stay?" when the possibility of the hazers physically harming someone is extremely high.

I only see my Kongpob and M ship now because when Arthit asked if anyone knew M, Kongpob immediately stood up and knew his entire life story. I have known my best friends for decades, and I still could not recite half of that information. Kongpob, what are the heterosexual reasons for you know any of this information about M?

Once again, Arthit is 🎶The Fucking Worst🎶 because instead of just taking his L, he made Kongpob say everyone's damn name, then ripped up May's name tag, only to scold Kongpob for giving her his, and now the kids are passing out from his ridiculous physical activities! As a member of a Greek-letter organization who was hazed because that was the culture of the time period, Arthit is being soooooo messy!

Hear me out - Kongpob and M would be so good together! Arthit is the antagonist. Kongpob is the protagonist who meets a sweet quiet boy on his first day of orientation. He helps the sweet quiet boy come out of his shell and watches over him. He cares for him. THEY FALL IN LOVE!

But instead I'm getting a love interest who nominated Kongpob because he knows he is cute, yet can't admit it because ~internalized homophobia~ Ryan from The OC would have never treated Seth this way, and they were in the early 2000s. What is your excuse, Arthit?! The show wants me to hate you, and for that, I'm thankful.

But I could never hate Minnie! Arthit came up quick like he was protecting the boys from Minnie being a predator, but Minnie would NEVER! I could never fear Minnie with the bisexual scarf? And now MDL is telling me the actor has only acted in one other series and that series is Deep Night. Gold star resume, and I truly mean that.

Look at them. LOOK AT THEM! Tell me they don't look good together. Tell me they wouldn't have wrecked every other ship. This is why I need GMMTV to let these MEN (no longer boys) kiss their homies. Kongpob x M. Singto x New. I ship it.

*punching walls and ripping doors off hinges* Kongpob gets kicked out the group and the FIRST one to stand up for him is the boy he loves (it's canon to me and IDGAF what the story's gotta say about it). Quiet and sweet M finds his voice just so he can ask to have Kongpob back. THEY ARE IN LOVE!

Arthit is wildin' out here trying to gaslight Kongpob with this bullshit of "if you keep helping out your friends, then they'll never stand on their own." Sir, you wanna fuck Kongpob so bad, you look stupid.

AND KONGPOB SAYS IT!

I cannot stress enough how kinky this is and could have been if 2016 BL Land was allowed to lean into this because Kongpob has already established through his actions that he likes showing up for the punishments, and here he says the quiet part very loudly - Arthit likes punishing him.

Taking a break from the kink to point out that GMMTV was always going to get My Love Mix-Up because in 2016, May's friend said that "In Japan, if you write down the name of your crush on an eraser and use it, that person will love you"

Then we have May asking for an eraser and keeping it just so she can write Kongpob's name on it. But who gets upset about it? M! Because he loves Kongpob and I'm not accepting that he likes May just like Atom realized he liked a boy instead of girl eight years later. M loves Kongpob. That is my truth!

And here comes the kink lite again! Kongpob could leave. He doesn't have to take this verbal abuse from Arthit. He doesn't have to eat that damn spicy ass plate of food. He doesn't have to finish it either because Arthit gets up and leaves, yet HE DOES! Because he likes this treatment. This makes sense if it's sadomasochism, and that will guide me through these next couple of episodes.

Because the decision to make Arthit the one who likes pink milk is a choice, and now I want an entire TED Talk on how Arthit is probably the most well done homophobic bully with internationalized homophobia falling in love with the boy he is bullying.

Because, joke's on him, the guy he falls for is into that kind of shit.

And all of this happens so we can end with Kongpob getting pink milk for himself after he finished an entire spicy meal that he didn't need to since he enjoys being punished should make me so happy, but the show is trying to lighten Arthit's behavior by having him pay for the bill (and get the freshmen food, and having been hazed himself, and blah blah blah) instead of just letting the toxicito be toxic and Kongpob being into it.

I never thought I'd write this, but I don't want Arthit to be tamed. I want him to be so much worse.

Silver Lining - What If #3 : For A Dreaded, but Inevitable, Separation

[Music is a very big part of my life and I’m MOSTLY INCAPABLE of writing without music, so I just thought I'd share what I am listening to while writing this]

My Dear Ladies, Gentlemen, and Distinguished Enbies, how are you all?Let me tell you, I’m in a rather poetically-nostalgically romantic mood. Could it be because of FESTA? Or maybe PRIDE MONTH? I don’t really know. All I know is that LOVE IS IN THE AIR and is not the type where animated birds are singing along with you while you bust out in a colourful choreographed rendition of 🎵You Make My Dreams Come True🎶[500 Days of Summer]. No. It’s more like the kind where you have a secret lover in a period of time preceding a looming world-war that nobody sees coming and the way you communicate with your lover is through letters, one of which ends up in the hands of a very naive child [Atonement]. Hence, as a natural consequence, I started thinking about Jikook.

Supposing Jikook are a couple, I can’t preface this fact hard enough I would imagine that the prospect of soon having to be separated for at least 2 years (As realistically speaking they would be enlisting months a part) isn’t the most delightful 🤡. Wanna be a little delulu together? Cool, let’s step into Delululand for a minute or the entire post, let’s see …. Situation:

Person A, who claims to be sleepy, starts a whole Wlive where for a good 50 minutes at least, while not really interacting with his fans, watches a program where Person B appears. He then goes on to watch Person B’s MVs, Person B’s dance practice, a compilation of Person B’s clips, Person B’s TikTok challenge (on youtube). He goes even as far as to reveal that he has watched, on his own time, more of Person B’s content. 

At the end of all of that, Person A starts playing a japanese longing-love song [Tele　phon number by Junko Ohashi], which is abruptly changed for a song which main chorus is 🎵... thoughts of you keep me up at night …🎶 [Up at Night by Kehlani]

In Summary: Though sleepy, Person A spent the night watching videos of PERSON B and subsequently repeatedly played a song about being kept awake because of thoughts of someone … Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm 🤔.

Doesn’t seem too farfetched to think that perhaps JK was indeed thinking of JM, right? One could even dare say missing, and if you want to be even bolder, one could say that he was longing. As the title of the WLIVE was “Suchwita” the intention was clearly set, but some could argue that choice of songs was simply because he likes Kehlani and Justin, hence he thought of playing that song; repeatedly. Sure, that could be true, however, it is more of a common practice to select music that, yes we like, but that also have to fit certain moods. 

Every time JK starts a WLIVE we are graced with listening to songs he selects, perhaps from his “liked playlist”, meaning that they are not in a particular order or with a particular theme, reason why he often skips songs depending on the mood with which he started the live. We’ve had a WLIVE with exotic/oriental songs, another with dance/party songs, and also with KPOP. Though he usually tends to go for sad songs, or love songs or better yet, sad love songs. Just like the mood-light he created and constantly uses, I don’t believe it to be outlandish to believe that JK is a mood man.

If you add the aforementioned with the fact that JK seems to be particularly active on WEVERSE when JM is either busy (for example during the whole FACE Era, where we got a whopping number of 7 WLIVES if you count all the times he closed and restarted WLIVE then it is 10) or not in the country (for example JK WLIVE 140323 - JM off to go to the USA for FACE promotion ; JK WLIVE 240423 - JM off to the USA for the Tiffany Gran Reopening ; JK WLIVE 240523 - JM off to the UK for reasons yet not known). 

And now that JM is back: SILENCE.

In fact, both JM & JK are MIA. You’d think JK would have maybe popped in yesterday to let us know, or hint at the fact that, that something big is coming for himself, like all members have previously done for themselves. Nope; he didn’t. The only time JK has hinted at something big coming was about JM’s album. Media and BH had to let us know about JK’s album 🤡.

We’ve been saying this since BTS FESTA 2022 “it’s just 2 years”, “ we just have to make it until they get back from MS”, “We will be fine, let’s just support their individual endeavours, WE WILL BE FINE!”. Like a mantra, we’ve been reciting these and similar sentence for almost a good year now, and only yesterday when I started writing this post did it REALLY dawn on me the true heaviness of this upcoming separation. If Jikook are really dating, they are realistically looking at spending at least 24 months apart, as they would not be enlisting at the same time (reason why, I think JK is leaving in the order I stated here → Must Be Just Me … and not last).

If you knew that in a couple of months or so (I think JM will enlist right after his birthday) you wouldn’t be able to see the one you loved for a long ass-time, as well as about to lose your own freedom, what would you do? Would you stress? Would you try not thinking about it? Would you panic? Would you, for example, go out and try every single meat restaurant in your country? Would you try drinking? Smoking? Would you travel as much as you can? Would you go to as many concerts as you can? Hang out with as many people you love/like/care about as you can? But ultimately, would you try to spend every possible & available waking second you can have with your significant other?

Sure they can text, find a way to risk it and meet when they are on leave, or count on the other members to have dinners together, but no matter how you look at it, for two young men who seem to truly enjoy each other’s company; it feels hella painful. 

Thinking this really made me first want to watch a bunch of agonising love stories, but then I quickly avoided that option for Jikook lives in hotel rooms and then something happened. As I watched the famous 2019 VLIVE where JM apologises to JK for cutting the live, it hit me like lighting: 

EVER SINCE JK TURNED OF AGE (2016), JIKOOK HAVE NEVER HAD A VLIVE/WLIVE IN A HOTEL BEDROOM WHERE IT WAS JUST THE TWO OF THEM FROM START TO FINISH. 

Now, as these are just my observations and opinions, I might be wrong, and if you do know of one instance where they do, please let me know. Anyways, you can’t imagine how loud my brain exploded at this realisation! Prior to this I always felt like I had all these recollection of them being together in hotels so many times but it was all either:

Other members would join

Bon voyage 1: They “sleep” in the living room

Bon voyage 2: They share a room but we have no footage

Summer Package - Saipan: They walk into the same room and JM leaves right away 

In the soop 1: JK quickly goes into JM's room to cuddle in bed with JM, but leaves just as quickly. JM was at some point in JK’s bedroom, and on his bed, but then, the next we know, they are carrying out a mosquito net and JM gets hurt.

In the soop 2: JK goes to JM’s bedroom but we have no footage. JM goes to JK’s cabin, enters JK’s bedroom, sits on JK’s bed, but JK stays out of it which is the only reason why we got that whole footage with Bam if you ask me.

… But shall we go even further into Delululand?

Have you ever wondered why JK and JM never roomed together in any of the houses they lived in when they were all still living together? JM, as we all know, has roomed with Hobi and at some point, JiVMin (Hobi, Tae and JM) also shared a room. JK used to room with Joon and then ended up getting a room for himself, which was his (and Tae’s) desire. And yet mind you:

JK got his room alone, but was apparently always in JM and Hobi’s room

When during Bring The Soul JM told JK during dinner that he wished he they still paired them up in hotels, JK said that he was fine as he was and slept like a baby, just to find out a couple of years later that JK does visit JM’s hotel room often. 

Obviously, I don’t know why two of the closest member have never roomed together within the confines of their dorms, but if you ask me, it has always given me the vibes of when you’ve hit puberty and you invite a someone of your preferred gender over to maybe “do homework” and a parent goes: Just keep the door open … 🙄

So, JK and JM have never roomed together, where never publicly left alone in a hotel room after 2016, are quick not to be found in a bedroom together or if they are, there is no footage. 

If you think about ... we really don't have much to go off on in the "fanservice department" AND YET, they are the members that Joon found were still at home when they were supposed to go home and celebrate holidays. They are the members who went on a trip together. They are the members who sasaengs have provided innumerable pictures of them hanging out. They are the two members who, for a long time up until COVID would regularly share a care ride. Sure, they may not talk about each other as much as they used to, they don’t drop each other’s name like they used to, even though people around them still seem to insert them in sentences as “JK and JM did so-and-so …”. They are so consistent on their behavioural, and emotional, level.

The few times we’ve seen them interact since the beginning of Chapter 2, is like no time has passed, even when they both try really hard to imply or avoid the question of them hanging out. All we truly have right at this moment, are two young men, who assuming they are dating when not required to perform any public, or work, duty seem to fall off the face of the Earth. Silently and privately doing whatever-it-is they are doing while perhaps awaiting for the day they can no longer do whatever-it-is that they are doing, for a very very very long time. Very very long time.

It was a regular day at the firehouse; calls kept flooding in & out, but it didn't stop Sakura from enjoying the little bit of peace she had for herself. While Peter, Ray & Winston are out on a bust, Janine is having a date with Louis. All that is left in the firehouse is Sakura in the main lobby, organizing files & Egon tinkering down in the lab. Sakura had her headphones on listening to music as her way to motivate her to work. A song started playing that reminded her of a certain scientist. She hums through the song as she walks toward the filing cabinet to file some paperwork.

Down at the lab, Egon became a bit frustrated at his work of trying to upgrade the PKE meter, so it could pick up even higher levels of psycho-kinetic energy. Egon sighed in frustration, he lifted up his glasses & pitches the of his nose trying to calm himself down from the frustration. He began to look around the lab then a tiny idea popped up in his head as he starts to crave for something sweet...'Maybe a Twinkie won't hurt' he thought as he left the lab to head upstairs. As Egon finally reached upstairs he spotted the empty reception desk that confused him for a minute then saw Sakura coming back singing with her headphones on while holding a folder in her hand like a prop, he just stared at her in confusion but then confusion turned into amusement as he quietly stared at Sakura "performing" to what supposedly an imaginary audience.

Egon's eyes widen as well as a sudden shade of pink appears on his cheeks as he hears Sakura singing he was shocked on how magnificent her singing was, but something else caught his attention 'Is this song about me? Is she singing about me?' He immediately became observant as he watched Sakura dancing to the song, he seems so mesmerized of what’s happening in front him.

"Umm...Dr. Spengler? E-Egon? Is everything oki?." Egon quickly snaps out of his trance & looks down at Sakura with a sly smile "My apologies for spacing out, just wanted to check if you're doing well that's all. I'll be in the lab if you need anything." Egon slowly turns around then heads back down to the lab as he continues to process what he has witnessed.

She blushes furiously as she screams on the inside, this is the first time she ever saw Egon smile let alone at her...does this mean something...I mean the song kind of fits the vibe of the oblivious scientist. She lightly slams her head against the desk then slowly picks her head up then slowly stands to continue finishing her job at the now quiet firehouse.

💖 What made you start writing?

Ohhh man... that's a pretty long answer. I guess the short version is simply: I liked painting pictures in my head. And on top of that, just like how I started drawing, I wanted to Tell Stories. I saw all the animated shows around me, the manga I read as a teen, and the mysteries I read... and I wanted to make what they had. I wanted to make stories that made me feel like I did as a kid when reading something for the first time. Unfun fact though: When I first started writing in sophomore year of highschool, I asked my english teacher for feedback, and she silently read my story's first chapter [which was admittedly, not good] and then basically told me to give up writing, and that 'you'll never get anywhere with it.' And of course after being crushed for a bit I went 'fuck you' and decided to prove her wrong. I continued writing and roleplaying and developing my story-telling skills out of spite. Nowadays I consider myself a perfectly serviceable author when I have someone to work off of.

Fullmetal Alchemist was the true starting point of my art and writing career, when I was 16. I started off my true artist/author's path with one goal. "I want to create a story that people want to binge all in one go like I just did with this anime."

And... fourteen years later, I've done that. And past-me would be so proud and in disbelief.

🎯 Have any of your readers accurately guessed major plot points? Care to share which?

OH MAN...... WHERE DO I START LMAO. There's a few beta-readers in particular who are ABSOLUTELY CRACKED at theorycrafting and catching onto me and Corrie's writing for The Harvester. It started with simple things like 'X character is gonna blow up at X character' and stuff like that. But nowadays? TH has gotten SO complex compared to its starting arcs that the theorycrafting has gotten WILD.

As far as sharing which ones have been predicted... oh man. I gotta be vague since some people haven't read TH yet. Sooo... A major plot point abt Topaz. A major plot point abt Hemmi. The Big Thing that happened to Tita. Something in the future that happens with Blue Diamond. Hell... a couple friends of mine are so cracked that they have predicted the entire plot [with at least 80% accuracy] and they have no idea.~ And if you're reading this and you know who you are...... have fun with that info.

The Harvester is STILL ongoing [and will be for years to come], so I can't share too much... but JUST last night a friend of mine was staring at the Hematites' designs and finally put something together that I've been waiting 7 YEARS for someone to notice. And now I'm going to leave this here and let anyone who knows/reads TH wonder wtf it was ;3 [Hint: it hasn't become relevant YET, but it will by the end of arc 7.]

Uhhh okay so I'm such a fucking sucker for when a character's mask involuntarily slips, but I also fucking love when a character intentionally lets down that mask as a gesture of trust. fucking kills me every time. In Red Gaia, you've got when Vee drops her unaffected shtick around Tifa and starts being full and genuine with her. And in DV, you've got when Akechi surrenders their knife to Kasumi, and early on the scene where Ren drops the lies fully for Ann that just fucking kills me every time.

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

@lilyhoshikawa hooked me on scar imagery, @mcpuliotjr hooked me on egg imagery, but. masks. masks are all me. i mean it's big inspired by persona 5 obviously but i think the initial piece of media that made me start obsessing with masks was Bleach. if you know you know.

Always. always always. I sometimes have to pause it to think through tricky parts but music helps me so so much. g-d bless character playlists, really.

Can't remember! I was like eight, and I was always obsessed with stories and storytelling and it felt natural to me to make my own stories

🦅 Do you outline fics or fly by the seat of your pants?

Column A, column B? If it's a big fic I've already outlined at least a chunk of it in my head, and I often have to write down those details to keep from losing them. Even then, I often and up coming up with stuff midway through writing that I'd never considered, or making big changes on the suggestion of my beta readers (hi jane <3). with oneshots, it's full on pants. I get a basic idea and just sit down and flow thoughts and see what happens.

🤩 Who is your favorite character to write?

G-d. how can I even pick. Uhhh. Ann Takamaki probably. G-d I love her and I love writing her. She's so angry and loves so fully and like ALWAYS has a strong opinion about everything and I love that about her. I also adore her friendship with Ren SO much aaa they're so good for each other.

Haru...I love her so so much but she's got like five million masks that it's sometimes hard to hit on what she's actually feeling at any time. I'm confident about how she'll react, I'm just not always sure what she's feeling.

Akechi's also really fun to write but I'm not nearly as good as Jane and Jae at writing them djfgbjb.

I groaned out loud. My mind was in a foggy haze, and my body felt like every bone's been replaced with some kind of tin-lead; I struggled to move, and every heartbeat practically rattled through me. The pain radiating up from the center of my skull is intense, and all I want to do is cry.

My eyes are closed as I struggle to make sense of things, but I can just barely hear footsteps coming towards me. A stringent, citrus-like smell filled my nostrils along with a more acrid cocktail of chemicals. Excitement welled up in my chest, because there's only one gal I know who has that particular brand of perfume! My eyes fluttered open, and my sight fills with a feminine silhouette surrounded by blinding light. I would have screamed for joy if it weren't for the weird-ass gag covering my mouth. Mikan hovered over me, caressing my face. I wasn't able to reach up and hug her; my arms and legs were tied up, and when I finally came to, I realized I was strapped up to a medical bed. I watched as her lips moved in what I can only describe is some sinister glee. Her voice was muffled, but I understood some of what she spoke. She said that I was special, that I was to be kept alive.

A weak laugh managed to force its way through the gag. This was a joke, right? Mikan was never really one for jokes like this. I could understand that since she'd been the butt of way too many bad pranks. I was taken aback when she reached out with her free hand and traced an invisible heart across my chest. She was so close that I could feel her breath on my face. The heat from her skin made me shudder involuntarily. My throat felt dry and my lungs constricted. The gag suddenly felt suffocating. "You're mine now for just a little while," she whispered. Now her voice is clear. Every syllable dripped with sickening sweetness. "For the sake of despair, I--we can't go all the way…" She moved back just enough to get a good look at my face. Her eyes narrowed and she licked her lips hungrily. My body tried to wriggle out of the straps keeping me pinned. She leaned in closer, making sure that I couldn't ignore the hungry gleam in her eyes. It was a command to stay put.

My mind reeled back to what I could piece back before I wound up here. I spoke to Mikan yesterday about a horror flick that was coming out. The two of us had gotten quite a bit closer, despite me setting out not to make any friends over the years. I've watched her step out of her shell, and that meek little nurse had gotten the nerve up to throw a few jabs my way every now and then. Not that I minded in the least bit! If anything, that was cute too.

I remember looking for her. There was an ocean of angry shouts and so many people trying to clamber up the school gate. So many of them, I couldn't make out what they were shouting about. Man, I don't care how good you are at busting heads, there's no way any of our security would have been able to handle that many people. And that's not even the lawsuits! The old me would have left this behind and everyone with it. Now? I knew I was walking into a battlefield. I guess this is part of becoming more refined, huh? Man, this is what I get for being selfless.

I sent her a text, hoping she'd respond. The picture of her in my phone had the two of us together at a school festival. Her smile was absolutely radiant.

[Text to: Micky] Hey, are you there? [Text to: Micky] There's been some seriously screwed up stuff going on today, and I wanted to know if you where around.

Even with my predictions giving me the best route to try and find her, I got swept up in the tide of students.

That's…what happened, I think. I must have been tossed around like a rag doll, but that part of my memory is a blind spot.

Now, the Mikan here was some gnarled fabrication of what I knew of her. She climbed on top of me, one of her hands snaking its way through my dreads. Another wrapped itself around my neck. Her head rested on my chest as she patted me like some kind of dog.

When I look past her, I see grisly decorations lining the shelves. Body parts preserved in jars, words scribbled on them. Hot tears welled up in my eyes.

If that was what she did for people who weren't…special…what was in store for me?

We went down to the village to buy some things that we need for our easter lunch tomorrow, we just found out there was cell signal here so we're currently all in the car on our phones before heading back into the dead zone lol

We arrived on wednesday safe and sound and as expected there was no signal, that day we didn't do much more than take a shower, have a light dinner and after a glass of wine we were all ready to go to sleep because we had all left work and started our trip to here so we were really tired.

Since we don't have wifi we look like a group of artists in some kind of spiritual retreat 😂😅 everyone has been either drawing, reading, writing or practicing photography.

During thursday and friday nights we were drinking and dancing, doing some karaoke and ruthlessly ruining a bunch of songs.

I listened to the playlist you made for me and my friend complained that she didn't understand what the theme of the playlist was or why it had that name 🐇 ​​she was like it is ... bunny...because it's for easter or what? And I was like sure... that's why 👀

We went to the river a couple of times and we have stayed until sunset is was really pretty...

but not as much as you so there is no competition and I would miss a lot of sunsets because I prefer look at those beautiful sea eyes of yours.

It has been nice to disconnect from work but I also admit that I greatly missed talking to you cariño mío. I been baking, preparing bread and the chocolate cake to eat tomorrow for dessert is ready. I also slept a nap outside in a lounge chair, under a tree with the autumn sun sneaking through the branches, keeping me warm in my sleep, 10/10 would recommend ☀️🍂

I hope you have had fun these days and that work has been calm and that your kids have not given you too many problems and if not, I hope that the test on friday has been extra difficult 😆

I'm glad you got there safe and are having a good time with your friends, you deserve this. I'm really jealous of your nap outside though because that sounds heavenly 🍂 and your picture is beautiful. I would like to see your sketches if you made any, you are so talented. If your friend wants to know about the playlist theme say it was chaos lmao. Normally I have actual themes going on but for this I picked some of my favorite songs, and some songs that are so bad they are good and then of course the dirty ones - what did you think of Pony? 🤭

I sincerely hope you won at karaoke too because ya girl is a winner. My friend dragged me out to bat trivia on Thursday saying I needed to get out the house because I was feeling lonely and even tipsy I lead our team to a 1st place victory against 19 other groups. Nobody knows Play That Funky Music by White Cherry like I do 🎶 but let's be honest just knowing you makes me a winner 🏆

Friday I participated in Two o'clock Tequila after work then went thru my clothes to prepare for the move. My friends and I got dinner too then I went to bed early. This morning I agreed to drive my friend to the train station a 4am, so I made an event out of it. Got the classic all-American staple that is wafflehouse 🥓 for breakfast then I went to watch the sunrise at the beach. Because it's getting warm the dolphins are even back 🐬 it was so incredible I wish you had been there to see. But don't worry I took lots of pictures to show you. It was almost as pretty as you 💁🏼‍♀️

Other than that I've just been keeping myself pretty busy. Made soup, pet a cute dog,  got my washer and dryer, bonded with the bestito (we even had a Bestito Beach Day ⛱️) and you would be proud - I busted out my best white girl dance moves to a BTS song at work. Tonight I've just been lounging in the couch doing nothing.

I hope your celebrations tomorrow are nice and that you all get home safe from your trip.
