At school My friend well not my friend, Charlotte was being rude. Her and my friend wanted to play soccer. Last time I was really embarrassed playing so I said that's fine but I don't want to be alone. (All the girls in the grade were playing). Charlotte dragged Alana away even though she saw my cry and sit by myself. (I have anxiety and one of my biggest worries is being alone) My friend Sienna came (She knows all about me) I talked to her and we played. Charlotte and Alana said hi and I responded not mad at all. Although in choir Charlotte kept bugging me (Shes never nice so I ignored.) In the second play I said to sienna that she could play soccer if she wants and she said I will but only for 2 minutes. While I was watching the game Charlotte came, she said sorry but we did not want to waiste our play. (I GOT SO MAD) I responded with wow is playing with your *friend* waisting your play!? I walked away. Then my legs went weak when I saw she made a group and was talking about me. 5 girls came up to me and said that Izzy *Charlottes identical twin sister* said to Charlotte why are you playing with Amilea you know your not allowed to. Like WHAT! Now I'm not friends and am not going to be mean but avoid them. Btw her mums always rude to me and shes friends with my old friend that hated me and always told lies about me and loved watching me cry and be sad. This girl has problems.

It's honestly crazy that discussion around testosterone HRT skews so much towards the beginning stages of it (to the point that you have dozens of guys thinking their transition is "failed" if they don't pass by like a year in lol) and what the initial changes of the first couple of months to years look like, like the classic laundry list of those early basic changes like bottom growth, voice drop, etc, when IMO literally none of that compares remotely to the depth and intensity of the long term total masculinization you start to experience like 3-5+ years in.

I actually love hearing about reformed people's stories. I love hearing about people who were in toxic communities or people who used to objectively be dickheads talking about how they got out of that. How they made themselves better.

I hate how most people's initial reaction to stories like that are things like:

"How could you have ever done those things?!" "Oh my god, you believed those things?!" "Well it doesn't un-do the harm you did!"

People incessantly advocate for change but then refuse to allow people who have changed the grace of being acknowledged and given opportunities and chances.

I love hearing about ex-antis talking about how they don't spend their days being angry and sending death threats anymore.

I love hearing about ex-homophobes who realized there's no magic law about what is "natural."

I love reformed bullies talking about how they made amends with their victims and spend their days being considerate of others.

You can't scream about wanting people to change but then expect them to spend the rest of their lives stuck in the past and on who they used to be. You can't expect people to spend the entire rest of their lives grovelling and apologizing and demeaning themselves.

Instead of clinging to who they were, latch onto who they are.

Ask how they got out of it. Commend them on changing. Enjoy that there's one less cause of harm in the world.

Keep seeing that post where OP starts like 'Thinking about...grieving the undead' and then adds on about like. Real life situations where people have not died but have left your life and you would have reason to grieve them.

All respect, that's an important concept, but that is not what I am thinking about when I read 'grieving the undead'.

like no you're not actually going to be able to normalize a lot of stuff, because it's statistically unusual or aberrant. you can't normalize shit that is not by any definition normal.

what you need to do is fucking stand up for the weirdos, freaks, and deviants, and remind everyone who is normal that their position just makes them normal. not good, not right, not correct, not better, not perfect, not beyond reproach or improvement.
