Unexpectedly, I’m back and doing more reading and coffee drinking than ever! It’s been a while since I posted on here, the final couple terms of my undergraduate moved away from the traditional studying format. But I have somehow found myself starting a Masters, so the cafe and study session energy has returned in full force.

Hello, tumblr! Been inactive for a while because I got hospitalized due to being food poisoned 🥲

Anyway, these are some of my highlights lately. I created a new cover page for my filofax planner: zig brushpen for calligraphy & starbucks 2016 box for the bookmark. went to two cafes; one was surprisingly good, the other… *sighs*. I also bought an espresso machine & curated my small coffee corner!

This year, I wanted to also share some reviewers I’ll be creating (yes i like to recreate my notes from college, that serves not just as my review but also extract my creative juices too!). Hopefully I’ll be more active, finger-cross* 🤞🏻

How about you guys? What are some of the plans y’all are comfortable to share? Were the past few weeks treating you good? I hope it do.

07/01/25 (Tuesday) [😠]

I was completely exhausted, so I didn't study much and decided to rest a bit. My practicals (lab experiments + viva + written test) would start in a day or two and I've to prepare for it. I can't seem to catch a break, and most probably, I won't be able to until July.

💌: My dad's health worsened today, and now he has a fever. I ate a lot of corn today and burnt my fingertips while boiling it. The burn isn't severe; it just hurts a bit.

Also, thank you, @berlinmacaw @zzzzzestforlife @berry-notes @chu-diaries and @o2studies, for tagging me in various tag games. I'll do them once I'm done with my practicals.

shawdies i’m sorry i been gone. four hour daily german is killing me. i’m in A2 now, and i need to start getting more energy to get work done after class. today i just passed out. like gymming 5 days a week and 9am classes is mad exhausting but i’m good!

I have been basically living on this desk and in these notebooks all week. suppose because undergrad thesis was such an overwhelmingly digital process, ever since it has been done I have been fixating on notebooks and the feeling of pen on paper, which I apparently missed very much after spending a whole academic year on my iPad. yes, still reading Dune, I don’t even know how many months it’s been, though I did in all fairness read 4 smaller books in parallel and I spent something like two months reading academia nonstop which left me very unmotivated to read in my personal time. might wrap it up this week? I like it but I’m looking forward to reading other things.
