I know that allegedly in-universe the commissioned songs are born from their feelings and are semi/non-canon and stay within the Sekai but for some units imagining these songs being real is just so much funnier. Imagine you're an average music enjoyer who isn't much into rap and such but these 4 teens seem interesting enough so you start casually following them on Spotify or whatever. And then Gekokujou drops and they never elaborate on that

there is a certain type of niigo fan that NEEDS to have everything be about n25. and they almost exclusively express that when people are talking about l/n or mmj

sometimes i forget that the members of n25 actually SING the songs they upload in canon, probably bc out of every group they talk the least abt actually recording/performing vocals. and i think its an underutilized chance for comedy

maybe mafuyu mentions it offhand to like, shizuku at archery club. so shizuku talks about that to the rest of mmj, and airi finally gets the link to the n25 channel from ena, cause they all want to see their kind, helpful class rep sing a nice song.

however. the song they end up clicking on is the rare n25 upload thats not nice or calm, but is actually something bug or usseewa adjacent where mafuyu is full power, full anger, crying and sounding noooothing like she does at school. the song ends and mmj is just staring at the phone in stunned silence. you could repeat this with basically any unit

ena would also be a great one since akito is such a tryhard about music. i imagine the n25 members that arent kanade don't record their vocals at home, so he hasn't ever heard ena sing. so when he does finally check out n25's channel, he hears her singing Really Well and hes like ??????????? hey what

he asks ena where the hell she learned to sing and she says she just kinda learned from going to karaoke and stuff like that. akito immediately gets mad and they fight. mostly its akito saying that shes wasting her skills by only singing in videos, and then ena asks if hed rather her sing on vivid street and he goes absolutely not

Everyone in the crowd is going wild and crying. And then, if things couldn't get any better, Rui and Tsukasa walk onto stage and kiss, holding the gay flag.

Did You Know?

The next April fools event (JP 2024/EN 2025) have already had some details leaked.

Following a similar vane of JP's 2022 April Fools there will be a group mix-up. But this time the group's members will remain together but the actual groups will swap (i.e MMJ becoming WxS.)

The group's will all have 3 April fools covers (The group's Untitled, 1 commissioned song and 1 cover.)

The swaps will be as listed below.

L/N will become MMJ.

MMJ will become WxS.

VBS will become N25.

WxS will become VBS.

N25 will become L/N.

L/N will cover Newly Edgy idols, More Jump More and Dreamin Chu Chu.

MMJ will cover The world hasn't even started yet, Theme of Niccori Survey Team and Ego Rock.

VBS will cover Composing The Future, Bug and Phony.

WxS will cover Ready Steady, Utsuro Wo Aogu and Shanti.

N25 will cover NeedLe, TeraTera and Ghost Rule.

It may be a while for this event to arrive, but I dont think I'm alone with being excited about it.
