i've been a fan of Rammstein since the Mutter times (yeah i'm older than most here) but i've always been a casual fan despite them being the music i hear the most, and most consistently throughout the ages (casual as in, i liked the music, didn't really mind about the band that much, watched them live once,...).

I've also been on tumblr for longer than I prob should but i've always used this hell-site (affectionate) as a source of info, fandom stuff and the likes. My interactions here are fairly minimal, even if i'm here plenty these days. There was the purge gap when things really slowed down, but i digress.

When the Zeit album and tour were announced i jumped at it and was lucky they visited my home town. Ofc, as we all know, all the allegations came around early on the tour and i was left dumbfounded. I needed to know more, i just couldn't figure out what to feel or act based on some of the media out there, for obvious reasons. I wanted whatever I decided to do, or feel, to be based on an informed reasoning (i did go to the concert and loved it).

It then occurred to me, why not try tumblr for some info? Unlike for some people, my exp here has been fairly good as i'm determined to stay away from toxicity. Also, i have 0 patience for some shit.

I kept an eye on some of the tags and realized, surprisingly, that the R+ fandom here is... tiny. I saw plenty of stuff that was popping from either really old reblogs, dead blogs, or always the same handful of active posters. But i liked what i saw. After lurking for some time i finally decided to create this sideblog. I really needed to have a place to see all the pretties while being updated to the latest info, gossip, etc.

It's def been a good surprise! I even joined the discord mentioned above, though i'm mostly lurking, i really don't have a lot of time to catch-up on all that 😆

So, thank you. To all the blogs that keep this fandom going. It's been fun so far!

he stood there and blinked at you. once, twice, three times. he couldn’t even comprehend what you were saying as he stared at the thing in your arms. the animal in your arms.

“-ieun?? i know i'm really wet, but can i come in? please?” you pouted at him, shivering from your wet clothes but not minding it at all, just trying your hardest to keep the kitten hiding in your arms as dry as possible. he finally snapped out of it and stepped aside, letting you in. you scrambled inside, pulling off your shoes and stepping into the slippers, before walking over to the island in his kitchen, placing the kitten there before going to the sink. you ran a warm water bath for the little guy, meanwhile sieun still stood at the door, watching you in awe.

“sieun, please stop ogling at me and find some towels!!” you jokingly stated, moving your head towards him. he once again snapped out of his daze, moving towards the bathroom to find extra cloths. “i wasn’t doing that,” he mumbled, lying to himself before coming back out with two drastically differently sized towels.

he walked over to the kitten on the counter, approaching it with caution. “how do i..” he trailed off. “oh, pick him up and bring him here.” you splashed the water around to make sure it wasn’t too hot before watching him expectantly. he stared at it for a second before attempting to pick him up. the tiny cat had little to no reaction- as sieun placed his hands under and around it, it did nothing but stare at him.

he placed it in the shallow bowl of warm water, watching as you bathed it with the water in an attempt to get it cleaner. minutes passed and minimal conversation was exchanged, the both of you only focusing on the cat.

you put so much effort into cleaning it up, after you were finished you walked over to the counter and wrapped the towel around the small cat, bringing it up to your chest, cooing at it in an attempt to calm it down. sieun's eyes watched you, and the way you treated it, noting how gentle you were with the small cat. "can you watch him while i change?" he nodded once, smiling before walking to his door to find some clothes to wear, later moving to the bathroom to change.

sieun sat on the floor of his room beside the kitty, staring at it as it waddled around in a circle. what was he even supposed to do with it? he's never had a pet before, let alone an almost newborn kitten. he recalled the way you held it and decided it might be beneficial to it if he interacted with it.

he didn't say anything as he scooted closer to it, placing a hand in it's path to prevent it from wandering off further. he picked it up like you did with the towel, bringing it close to his chest, craning his neck downward to stare at it. "meowr," the creature let out, staring at him with big beady eyes.

ah, now he understood why you took it in.

it leaned it's head into his shirt and very, very softly purred. the corners of his mouth tilted upwards as he began to gently but stiffly stroke it's fur. it meow'd again and slowly closed it's eyes, it's soft snores following after, and it didn't take him long to realize it was sleeping. "[name]?" he called for you before he slowly stood up and peeked out of his door, looking for you. "coming!" you whisper-shouted, walking towards him with the stray can of tuna you found in his cupboard. "oh," you mumbled as you saw the sleeping kitten that was cradled in his arms, before looking up to see that he was looking down at it too. he looked up, meeting your eyes. "he fell asleep suddenly," he watched your expression that quickly brightened as you noticed the sparkle in his eyes, watching as he looked back down at it. "so cute." you didn't move your gaze as his shifted to yours. his head snapped towards yours, looking into your eyes, almost as if he was shocked; his stomach suddenly swarming with a fluttery feeling. you smiled at his shyness and cupped his cheek, leaning in closer as the both of your eyes slowly closed, "was talking about you, by the way," you whispered onto his lips. you closed the gap between his mouth and yours, relishing in the way he sighed into the kiss. the two of you held it for a while before he pulled away, immediately turning away and back into his room in an attempt to hide his face from you, the corners of his lips turning upwards as he walked. you giggled at his action, going to join him on the floor of his room.

Xavier likes doing things for you, weather it be carrying your things, cleaning your room, getting you food, helping you with errands, or literally anything you can think of

Physical affection is pretty close to 1st place. He likes holding you, kissing you, having you against him. He can’t get enough of having you in his lap and/or in his arms

But I feel like it’s so easy to forget that he’s probably rich. Like his dad, although an asshole, just gives Xavier money so he doesn’t have to deal with his son. But most of the time, when he’s not buying clothes or art supplies, he’s buying things for you. Clothes, food, jewelry, blankets, and literally anything else. He buys you something whenever you need it or it reminds him of you.

Morticia Addams headcanons

Because there was nothing in the tag other than x reader, nsfw or crossover, and I like giving characters complicated backstories. Also it’s spooky month so I have to make content <3

This will be mostly pertaining to the ‘60s show, with some other stuff from… pretty much everything! I have a soft spot for the musical in particular so if you don’t recognize any character names they’re probably from that

So first off, Morticia and Ophelia used to be very, very close when they were little

Like shared-everything-and-wanted-to-be-just-like-each-other close

Ophelia is three years older, but Morticia was a lot more “mature” so she kind of ended up slotting into the role of the older daughter.

(Btw when I say “mature” I mean “they’re both nd but Tish is a lot better at masking so people kind of thought of Ophelia as childish”)

(And when I say “the role of the older daughter” you know exactly what I mean)

Up until she was a teenager, Morticia was just like her older sister: loving, dutiful and sweet. The only differences seemed to be their hair color and Morticia’s relative shyness.

But the sisters didn’t stay close forever

Mainly because their family was very old-fashioned and very magic.

(Time for worldbuilding)

Everyone in their mother’s family has some kind of powers over nature (see: Fester’s lightning powers)

Granny Frump had powers over plants, so both the sisters were expected to end up with plant magic as well.

Ophelia’s powers started developing at a very young age, and once they did, (pun fully intended), she blossomed. Flowers, herbs and fruit trees alike flourished after minimal coaxing from her, and the stubbornest of sidewalk weeds seemed to adore her. Daisies even began to grow out of Ophelia’s hair!

Morticia, on the other hand, was… not that

The only plants she could seem to work magic on were poisonous, carnivorous, allelopathic or otherwise hazardous to health

The only exceptions were roses (probably because of their thorns)

And this is where Morticia ran into some problems with the women in her family.

The most immediate issue came in the form of her mother, who seemed deeply ashamed of her younger daughter’s “morbid” magic

Granny Frump doubted that Morticia would ever make a good match (need I remind you this was the early fifties) and pretty much decided she was “cursed” and would never be much more than a burden

She thought she might find comfort in her sister, but Ophelia only thought of her as a tragedy

Unsurprisingly, this was around the time Morticia started to distance herself from the rest of her family

Namely by leaning into the whole “cursed” thing and cultivating her own little garden of poisonous plants, as well as a more dark and depressing vibe overall

She ended up realizing there was no reason to be what everyone else wanted her to be- a flower doesn’t just die because it’s not the same color as the rest of the garden, does it?

This, incidentally, is how Morticia ended up being the happiest she’d ever been.

Enter Gomez, who saw this beautiful girl being so unapologetically herself that he just. Couldn’t handle it

And the rest is history :)

Okay now that’s out of the way it’s time for some general (read: miscellaneous and often quite stupid) headcanons

She and Ophelia do become close again as they become adults! It just takes a little while, but there’s not too much that can keep the two of them apart

She still gives Gomez the creeps though

Morticia’s hair isn’t naturally that straight and shiny- she actually puts oil in it to smooth it out! When she wakes up in the morning it’s very frizzy. (Headcanon courtesy of my mom)

Headcanon also courtesy of the person who said Morticia dyes her hair: I respect your headcanon but you are Extremely wrong about this

Tish takes a lot of pride in her appearance, specifically in the way she dresses and in her general bearing. It’s really less about how she looks and more about the way she presents herself

Whenever she stresses about her appearance, Gomez tells her the exact same thing: “I would love you even if you looked like a rotting corpse.”

She’ll just roll her eyes and say something along the lines of “just wait, darling, it won’t be long now.”

Gomez is the only person that Morticia lets into her conservatory without knocking

The kids get passes when they’re really little. Grandmama does not and needs to stop sneaking around trying to steal her hemlock

Pugsley also eventually gets a free pass because she knows he’s responsible. Wednesday does not

Mainly because she broke Aunt Phobia’s nicest vase

Most of the Addams relatives with weirder names come from Gomez’s side of the family, but Morticia has plenty of cousins on her side and they’re all perfectly strange, thank you very much!

But her stories are always a little bit depressing, even if she doesn’t mean for them to be

You know how someone will tell a story about something awful that happened to them in their childhood like it’s hilarious because nobody ever told them that wasn’t normal? That’s Morticia

Gomez, who grew up with a very loving family, is always horrified by these

“Your mother did WHAT” “…Did your mother not do that” “NO”

They don’t talk to Granny Frump a lot

Not because Morticia doesn’t want to reconnect (she’d actually be quite happy to do so if her mother was willing) but because Gomez is always on the offense when she visits

“Darling, you really don’t need to do that” “Do what” “Gomez put the sabre down”

Gomez tries to teach Morticia about a lot of his passions/just stuff he knows, with varying levels of success

She does quite well learning how to fence, and makes for a very fun sparring partner!

She didn’t pick up Spanish as easily, even though she tried

All she really knows is their pet names for each other

He thinks she’s fantastic

In turn, Morticia tried to teach Gomez how to knit. To put it mildly, that ended up being a disaster and a half.

She had a lot more success teaching him about the plants in her conservatory

In part because she has a lot of little songs and mnemonics to keep track of them

She had to make up most of them because they don’t really make those songs about poisonous/carnivorous plants

This is semi-canon but Morticia has a really nice singing voice!

She’s always humming something, to the point where she doesn’t really know she’s doing it most of the time (read: stim)

You were hanging out with Peter after you found out that your fight with Bucky made him cry. You two had taken a walk to grab some coffee from the cafe down the street. 

“Why do you and Bucky hate each other?” Peter asked you as you two were walking home.

“Oh, I don’t- I, uh… I don’t hate him,” you stuttered and hesitated, in truth you couldn’t care less what happened to the ass.

“Y/n, you say mean things to each other all the time, and you fight a lot.”

“I know. Peter, sometimes people just don’t get along. I don’t personally think Buck’s a bad guy.”

“Then why do you always fight?”

“I don’t know.”

You two got to the compound and Peter went straight to Tony and Bruce who were in the lab. You went to look for Natasha who was on a step ladder changing a bulb. 

“Why are you changing a bulb? Doesn’t Vision usually do that?”

“He and Wanda… are on… and date,” she huffed trying to reach the screw.

“Do you need help?” you laughed at her struggling.

“Yeah, you’re taller than me right? You try.”

You stepped on the ladder with the bulb in hand reaching to screw it in. Steve and Bucky walked in coming up to you with concerned looks on their faces. You reached up and could barely fit the bulb in so you opted to stand on your toes. That very quickly went south however.  

You fell forward on Nat making the step ladder fly sideways from under you. She grabbed you and rolled you both so you would land on the floor with minimal injury. Steve and Bucky both widened their eyes rushing to you two lay laughing loudly on the floor.

“You guys ok?” Steve asked, grabbing the step ladder.

“Yeah we’re ok-” you cut off, your laughter immediately dying from Bucky grabbing your arm and pulling you up. He grabbed your face and checked to see if you might’ve scratched yourself. 

You pulled away confused.

“Why are you so fucking careless? Ask us next time,” Bucky growled.

“Careful Barnes, don’t want people to think you actually care for me,” you rolled your eyes.

That pissed off Bucky who lunged at you pushing your shoulders. You used your powers to expand a black ball of mist before thrusting it at Bucky making him stumble back. Nat and Steve dove in to stop what could be another potential disaster between you two.

“Can you two stop fighting for five fucking seconds?” Nat yelled. 

“He started it!” you shouted.

“Enough! Barnes, L/n. Asses in the conference room. Now,” Fury found you guys.

You looked at Buck, who had nostrils flared breathing heavily in anger. He was fuming; and for what? 

“You two have a mission,” Fury said when you two entered the conference room.

“Is that really the smartest thing to do. We don’t work well together,” Bucky said.

“The only thing smart about you is your mouth. Go on this mission, together. Any casualties will come out of your paycheck and field time.”

“What?” you both said in shock.

“I said what I said; wheels are up in 20.” 

You grabbed the files handed to you by Maria and walked to your rooms to pack. Nat came into your room to ask what happened. Same with Steve and Bucky.

“What happened?” Nat asked you.

“Fury, sent us on a mission,” Bucky told Steve.

“I can’t imagine how quickly shit will the fan. I can’t stand him!” you told Nat, talking about the upcoming mission.

“Why?” Steve asked Buck.

“Do you think maybe you like him and you’re convincing yourself you don’t by being mean?” Nat asked you.

There was a long pause as you two stared at each other before you guys burst in laughter.

“Good one,” you laughed, “Anyways, I don’t know how long this mission is so I’ll see you when I get back.”

“I don’t know how long this mission is so I’ll see you when I get back,” Bucky said to Steve patting him on the shoulder. 

You both got to the quinjet, not even thinking about talking to each other. The file you both had basically said there was a fundraiser being held to mask an underground meeting for Hydra agents to meet in secret. 

Not a secret anymore though.

You two arrived at the hotel still haven’t spoken a word each. All that was heard in the elevator on your way up was both your breathing echoing off the metal walls. You got in and set your stuff on the couch. 

“We should set up a game plan,” you huffed.

“Ok,” he said before disappearing into the bathroom.

You rolled your eyes but began setting up what should be the tactic to approach the mission. You didn’t want to be too aggressive but being too stealth might take too long. Bucky came out of the bathroom after what seems to be having taken a shower. 

“Come up with anything yet?”

“No,” you responded.

“Seriously?” 

“What? It’s not like your fucking helping.”

“Watch your fucking attitude. I didn’t do anything so knock it off.”

“Whatever. Are you gonna help me or are you gonna sit there and watch me do all the work just to take credit?”

“Why would I take credit for your shitty plan that’s gonna get compromised.”

“Can you not be a dick for two seconds and be helpful for once?”

“I’m not helpful?” he stood up getting angrier every passing second. 

“God, Bucky get your head out of your ass! Stop taking everything so negatively; this is why I can’t stand you!”

“Shut your goddamn mouth, princess,” Bucky walked up to you, pulling you close by wrapping his metal hand around your throat.

“Am I turning you on?” you mocked.

“Shut up!” 

“Or what? You’ll spank me?” you whispered.

“Fucking bitch,” Bucky said before smashing his lips to yours.

He pushed you down on the couch, kissing you burtally. Your lips were swelling as Bucky trailed rough kisses down your throat. You wanted to moan because Bucky’s rough hands touching your body was overwhelming. 

There was a harsh contrast between his hot flesh hand and his cold metal one. You finally gave in after feeling Bucky’s hard dick brushing against your thigh considering he still had only a towel around his waist from his shower.

ok first, i LOVE this line so much. i can kind of see it now - the similarities between reader and hanma, but at the same time they are so so different. i'm not sure why but this stood out to me! there were also many lines like this thru out the chap - i do pay attention to details bc i know some writers have a bunch of foreshadowing in their fics👀

another thing is that i literally GASPED when a certain violet haired man made an approach in this fic, im guessing it was ran but i was so happy to have him in this fic!! (i don't think it was actually mentioned if it was ran or rin, but i'm p sure it was ran ahah) i rly liked the entire encounter and he was being pretty respectful which i didn't see coming lol.

yknow i loved this entire convo so much there was a lot thrown at us but at the same time you described/phrased it in such a way that made it easier to understand. i think i re read this part like 3 times; i kinda felt like this is the most honest convo they’ve had and it was the most series imo. it was really nice seeing hanma kinda open up. we also got to know more about the docs past too.

the last line about minimizing pain for the reader 👀 idk if im being dumb or if this has some sort of deeper meaning, but is it talking about the docs emotional pain? (towards hanma maybe?) im not sure lol rip and maybe it’ll be cleared up within the next few chapters but for now i’ll be left wondering hehe

okoki this is getting so so long i’m so sorry BUT i reallyyyy wanna talk about the smut i was literally vibrating in my seat the entire time aksdj when i first read the chap tags i kinda saw where it was going. club - hanma get head - reader watches. one of my favorite lines from the chapter too! And yeah, reader + hanma are so different from each other, but i think they have a pretty similar problem with how they move through the world. they never could have had this conversation before. they're only able to be this open now because a) they both think they're talking more big picture and not being fully aware of what they're revealing about themselves; but most importantly b) they have a CREEPING INTIMACY! they are so much closer than they were a few chapters back :) I am so glad you noticed that because it was Very intentional.

you pretty much nailed the pain comment. Reader recognizes that she is taking on a very out of character risk with the Hanma stuff, and that opens her up to emotional pain but also risk that he's going to make her (or her life) change, which she is resistant to.

not much to say about the smut stuff other than...i am glad to see it's working. that is what i was going for 😏😆 (also thank you on the kakucho fic :))

it means the WORLD that you find things to analyze and think about because i am pouring so much of that in there intentionally, and knowing that people see it and get something out of it too is Super motivating. 1. to invent a language; M, newtmas, 67k

Two best friends, inseparable since the day they met, return from their road trip on different days. One moves out of town with his sister immediately, the other locks himself inside the house as soon as he arrives. The town in question is called Haven and, staying true to its small town workings, erupts in gossip.

A decade and a half later, it's an ordinary day of tending to plants and navigating workshops for Newt. Quite ordinary, indeed, until the Garden's doorbell chimes and an unexpected guest voices his presence.

Thomas always had a knack for turning Newt's world upside down, after all.

this fic is absolutely my best work and my most favourite thing i've ever written. my baby. my fucking cinnamon apple. i poured my heart into it and had SO much fun and aha! moments while writing it. it explores complicated feelings, the meaning of family, healing, forgiveness and love. if you'd like to read only one of my works, i'd say you should read this one.

2. when the red sun sets; M, newtmas, 8.2k

Safe Haven is safe in the way that they don't have to run anymore - from WCKD, from the Cranks and the Flare. They've got no outside threats to run from, but what happens when the threats come from within? What happens when those who have never known safety arrive to the safest place on Earth, and what happens when they are Newt and Thomas?

this one i word barfed from my heart too. it was very unexpected and probably the most cathartic piece of writing i've ever done. as the summary suggests, it's about healing from severe trauma together.

3. in the tide of a day; M, newtmas, 4.4k

Among gentle rolling hills where colorful meadows give way to lush evergreen forests and woods adorned with vibrantly colored leaves in all shades of red and gold, there is a small brick cottage with a garden so beautiful, it would turn middle-aged women set on seeing their lawns on the front pages of notable gardening magazines green with envy. In this lovely little cottage live Newt and Thomas, runaway WICKED mutants turned superheroes out of the sense of obligation and necessity. On their long-awaited day off, and as often as they can spare the time, they use their powers, bestowed to them as weapons, to shape their home to their liking.

superheroes au!! one of the fluffiest things i've ever written. alternatively: newt and thomas get some mf Rest. there's baking and cuddling and gardening and general domestic stuff. they're in love your honor <3

4. tell me what i feel is real (tell me that you feel it too); T, newtmas, 7k

Everything starts with a realization that maybe it's not usual to draw your best friend all the time.

or, Newt is a senior in college, Thomas a junior, and they've been sharing a dorm room for three years. Feelings Occur, but they refuse to admit it. Fun!

5. ice cold but i'm still melting; T, sonyarriet, 1.9k

It is winter all year round, but Sonya finds herself experiencing spring.

this is a canon compliant (somewhat) slice of life fic where sonya and harriet fall in love in their maze <3 minimal angst, it's mostly fluff.

There’s a lot to unpack here. I’m honestly going to delete the post in question because I realize I misunderstood it when I reblogged it anyway, but I still wanted to respond to this. When I say “ex-christian evangelical atheists”, I’m specifically referring to people who go out of their way to talk to religious people (including progressive ones) and tell them that they’re idiots who believe in an invisible man in the clouds who did everything in the Bible (or insert-other-holy-book) literally and that they’re all sheeple who just need to learn science and critical thinking and then they will realize how stupid they are and that God is fake. You know…evangelizing.

Like, people who go out of their way to be nasty and condescending and talk about religion as a whole as if it’s all literal-minded conservative fundamentalism with no room for interpretation or nuance. Pure black-and-white thinking. From my Western experience, these people were often raised evangelical themselves and experienced genuine religious trauma that I would never minimize. Trauma can also make you a dick if you don’t address it or are at a certain stage of recovery. Both things can be true.

I literally do not care if you are an atheist. Your spirituality or lack thereof is none of my business. And, if someone says they hate fundamentalism across the board, I’d be like “yeah me too dude!” (And I would put opposing Hindu nationalism in that category, btw.) If there are critiques of the religious tradition you were raised in, that’s also none of my business. It’s specifically people who see themselves as superior for being atheist and who mock others for believing in any type higher power at all and refuse to acknowledge that any good of any sort can come from religion (organized or otherwise) when it’s actually complicated. (These are not hypothetical straw men! I have interacted with these people!)

THE POINT BEING. I was actually NOT intending to accuse non-ex-Christians of doing this by my comment, that tag was more of a non-sequitur about how annoying I find evangelical atheists in general. That being said. If you are engaging in that very specific behavior, regardless of what religion or culture you were initially raised in…you’re still being a dick! However, you’re also allowed to vent and experience your own emotions in your own space, and I wouldn’t have reblogged the initial post if I’d first read the OP’s blog for more context. I really do my best not to poke the bear, and if I did that here, I apologize.

In conclusion, I’m still not entirely sure what you mean by “people like me”. If you mean white people, fair enough. If you mean religious people, then I think we’re not on the same page. I’m queer in the United States. My own connection to religion is complicated on multiple levels. If you think I don’t know the dangers of organized religion mixing with the state, then you are just wrong.

HOW I RUN MY BLOG.

SPEED: slow! slow af literally please expect to be waiting at least a month for replies if not even longer....i also almost exclusively use the queue to stagger my replies/inbox memes/everything i'm ever tagged in. it really helps with keeping me from spending too much time on this hellsite :'D LOL not anymore 😂😂😂 i try to do some replies every few days, i usually like to post 1-3 things at once before taking a few days off. i also can be VERY SLOW when it comes to answering dms and discord messages; however, i have been trying to be quicker on that end....pls have patience with me overall i promise i will get back to you sooner or later!!

7. What do you think are the characteristics of your personal writing style? Would others agree?

I honestly don’t know lkshdlfhd Like, I’ve always had a hard time describing and figuring out exactly what is meant by people’s writing and art styles? Like, I get the concept, I just don’t get it in practice if that makes sense? You’d think as someone who has written stories since as far back as they can remember and was an incessant bookworm, I’d be able to figure that out lol Some people’s art and writing styles stick with me if I find a memorable pattern or something in particular sticks out to me or if I’ve seen/read a lot of their work, but I couldn’t describe what it is that makes it stand out to me :/ (if you or anyone could give me examples of what writing style and stuff is supposed to mean btw you would be a saint 🙏🏽) But anyway, I mostly rely on what people tell me that they’ve picked up about my style. Ise once told me that my writing style is loud but in a good way, and I don’t necessarily know what that means, but I think it probably tracks because when I’m confident and more at ease and able to be myself without holding back, I tend to be a very loud /pos individual lol

10. How would you describe your writing process?

Depends on what I’m working on. For most of my ficlets that I write now, I make a rough bullet point outline of the main things that are going to happen or what I want to include before I write it. Then I’ll read it over a couple of times to try and catch any obvious grammatical/spelling/other errors and fix those before I post and eventually find more errors when I go back and reread it more that I feel like is too late to correct sldkfjsdljf. For the Julia Survived AU (the only long fic that I’ve had an idea for and am actually attempting to write), I mostly have an outline already because it’s just Balance but she lived and is adventuring with them lol I have a few ideas on other scenes and stuff outside of what’s heard in the podcast that I have percolating in my brain, some of which I’ve written down as disconnected scenes, but I’m also trying to figure out how her being there would actually change what happened and still curb it to keep with the same overall outcome of the podcast which is really hard because I’ve never written something that is going up against all of what canonically happens in a piece of media before?? Like, I daydream, yeah, but a lot of the scenes in my daydreams don’t actually carry weight, and I’m trying to change that in the actual product of this fic. Also, trying to figure out how to make Julia her own character especially when we know so little about her, I’m going to have to look at a post about character/character arc creation that I saved in my drafts on my main blog to figure THAT out and WOW am I rambling and strayed so far away from the actual topic of the question lol

TLDR: I mostly plan a minimal amount, then write, then edit a minimal amount, then post and hope people actually like it lol

16. Tried anything new with your writing lately? (style, POV, genre, fandom?)

I forgot this was one of the questions lol I rambled so long in the previous one, I basically answered this one too. It’s the Julia Survived Ravens Roost AU. Never written something going one to one with canon before. Very intimidating. Still working at it. I Want To Make That Work^TM lol

17. Do you think readers perceive your work - or you - differently to you? What do you think would surprise your readers about your writing or your motivations? 

I don’t know, I mean, people say they like my writing and think I’m a good writer, and all of the comments and tags reacting to my writing make my entire day because you’re all so sweet and kind and I eat the comments and tags freaking out over an emotional work for power /j lol And I also like most of my writing and think I’m a pretty good writer, and even the works that I’m not too fond of I at least feel okay about, so that all matches up. I don’t know if people perceive my work as a vent, particularly the really sad and angsty and whump ones and all that, but I’m usually pretty explicitly clear in the tags when something is a vent, so it really shouldn’t be all that surprising lol Another thing that I don’t think is too surprising but might be worth mentioning because it’s an interesting/fun fact, I really like trying to subvert what people might expect to happen with prompts or character pairings or things when I can and really play in the space. Also matching up characters that we didn’t get to see paired off much in canon. Like with On Edge (the one where Magnus finds Davenport on the railing of the Starblaster), I wanted to write about a character who would have been seen as really strong and carrying the team and feeling like that’s how they see themselves, being in a moment of vulnerability and great amounts of pain and letting that show (very much a vent fic lol), and I couldn’t decide if I wanted that person to be Magnus or Davenport, then I figured why couldn’t both be in the fic because that’s also a pairing we saw almost none of, and Davenport seemed like the least likely choice to be put in that position but simultaneously, in canon, would probably have been the most realistic choice

Gallavich Gift Giving Game

Because I love alliterations. :)

So, for the past few years I’ve hosted a Gift Exchange in the end of the year (not last year though). I looooooooooove this event, it’s so nice to see how happy people get when they receive their gift! The not so nice part? The people who don’t receive anything because whoever was responsible for doing something for them wasn’t able to finish it. And yeah, I get it, shit happens, but I want to try to minimize that while still doing some kind of gift giving event because 1) it’s the holidays, 2) they’re married now!, 3) this year kind of sucked and we need a pick-me-up, and 4) the last season is coming. Also, organizing this is a pain in the ass, so let’s see if I can make this easier for myself lol.

So here’s how this is going to go: whoever wants a gift needs to send me a message with their request, either via ask box (better, please), chat or DM on Twitter. 

Please include: 

- the kind of work you want (fic/art/gifset/graphic/video/anything)

- your prompt (be as vague or specific as you want, it’s fine, just bear in mind the kind of work you’re requesting for)

- anything you’d like to see included as well, though not mandatory (for example, “Ian/Mandy friendship” - the person taking your request will try to include this, but it’s ok if they can’t)

- anything you don’t want to see included (feel free to add anything that triggers you or that you generally dislike)

- you can send something anonymously on my ask box, just please, if you do so, add your nickname (you can totally invent one, it’s just in case I need to address you)

Attention!! You have until November 7th to send your request. That’s three weeks people. It’s more than enough time.

After that I’ll make one big post with all the requests. Please pay attention to see if your request has been included and, if not, message me asap.

This is where the creators come in. You can totally take part of this even if you can’t make anything yourself, but please consider making something as well if you can.

Creators will be able to choose something from the list of requests to make. Please note that it’s possible that your request may not be filled, since I don’t know how many people will be willing to participate or how may requests we’ll get. Unfortunately, it happens, but your request will stay available if anyone wants to pick it. I’ll mark the requests as they’re picked, so that creators may know which ones still don’t have anyone working on them. It’s totally fine to take something someone else has already chosen as well, by the way. There’s no such thing as too many fanworks (and nobody does the same thing the exact same way, it’s fine).

For the creators, please fill the posts until the end of the year, if possible. As soon as you have done so, you are free to post it. Just please tag the person who requested it (if they’re on Tumblr; if not, just add their name) and me as well (you can tag me in the body of the work so I can see it). I Was Your Favourite (Pt. 2) 

Your new apartment is a world away from Avengers Tower; a stark departure from the reds and whites of the common rooms, and your very minimal black and white decor in your bedroom. 

Given the chance to explore your creative side without Tony’s input, you did an excellent job. 

Sometimes you do wish you could show Loki. Sometimes you wish you could share this space with him. 

But for the most part, you have moved on. You met a nice guy in the city. A normal guy with a normal job. He’s got dark curls and brown eyes, he’s quite silly sometimes and he treats you well. 

You find yourself laughing again. It’s the happiest you’ve ever been, even if you’re on edge that the same thing will happen again. 

Nobody said it would be easy, but you’re trying to take it one day at a time. 

You introduced him to your family in the Tower and they loved him. He was no genius billionaire, nor was he a fighter, but he was delightfully fun and got along with everyone. 

And it ate at Loki. 

Whether it was Jacob’s quick acceptance into the family or the fact that you were happy, you didn’t know. But Loki certainly wasn’t happy, and you knew it. You didn’t intend to hurt him, but you didn’t want to be hung up either.

‘When’s Jacob visiting again?’ Tony asks while at his desk.  ‘This is a workplace, Tony’ you laugh, ‘He can’t just pop by’.  ‘No, I was asking for... for Loki. So we can prepare him’.  ‘Prepare him?’ 

Tony looks like he just spilled something incredibly private. 

‘Um... ignore I said that?’ he asks, but of course you won’t.  ‘What’s going on, Stark?’ 

He sighs. 

‘We’re just sort of... consoling the guy. He broke up with Maria and he’s been miserable, we just don’t want it to affect our missions’.   ‘He’s a grown man... a god. He can take care of himself, you don’t need to walk on eggshells around him’.  ‘Easy for you to say, Y/N, you don’t live here anymore’. 

You keep quiet. He’s right, you have no way of knowing the chaos you left behind. 

‘Then... I’m sorry. Thank you for taking care of him’ you say.  ‘Yeah, no worries. We all like Jacob, and we’re happy for you’.  ‘Thank you. Me too’ you say fondly. 

‘So... when?’ he asks after a minute.  You smile at him. ‘He’s dying to come for Stark Expo. But only because Elon Musk will be there’. 

Tony puts a hand on his heart and acts like he has been shot, and you laugh.

‘LADIES AND GENTLEMEN...... TONY STARK!’ 

Fireworks, flares, AC/DC blaring on the speakers... all of it accompanies Tony’s grand entrance on his custom red and gold Audi. 

Jacob howls at the top of his lungs and wraps his big arms around you. 

‘Enjoying yourself?’ you ask him as he hugs you.  ‘Am I ever! I can’t believe you work here, thank you for bringing me’. 

He kisses you and you laugh against his lips. And then, from the corner of your eye, you spot Loki. Your eyes meet. 

His black suit hangs a bit loosely on his frame, suggesting he has lost weight. Not a good thing for Loki. Not a good thing for an Avenger. But you only notice this because you know him. To anybody else, he’s as handsome as ever. 

You smile at him, partly from politeness, and partly as an apology. Not that you have anything to apologize for, but it comes to you without thinking. 

Loki bows his head and ducks out of the crowd as Tony ticks off the latest inventions from Stark Industries. 

‘These new sensors basically mean you can sit back in your car and watch a movie or eat a buffet breakfast, and the car will drive itself. So I guess you can now get drunk on your road trips’. 

The crowd laughs, but Elon Musk doesn’t look very impressed. Jacob points this out to you and you chuckle politely, Loki still on your mind.

The best part of Stark Expos: the after parties. 

Everyone is decked out in their finest gowns and tuxes. Jacob looks great, and he’s mingling well with Natasha, Steve, and Bucky. Tony is doing his rounds with Pepper. Every one else is scarfing down the food like their life depends on it. 

You sit at the bar by yourself and watch as Jacob cracks up Captain America. He’s always the life of the party anyway, and you prefer to sit back. 

As you watch him, a tall figure sits beside you. A familiar voice says, ‘Gin and tonic, please’. 

You turn to see Loki. This is the closest you have been in a year. 

‘Hello’ he says, his voice hollow.  ‘Hi’. 

He looks at Jacob entertaining a crowd with his stories. ‘How are you two?’ ‘Fine. Good. And... how are you?’ 

He smiles at his lap. Once his drink is ready he takes it and stands up. 

‘I’m sorry, Y/N. I know you’re with him but... I have to say my piece’.  ‘Loki...’ ‘Allow me this, Y/N. I don’t deserve it, but allow me this’. 

You purse your lips. He takes his cue. 

‘We’ve been apart a year, and... I know he makes you happier. I know I hurt you. I wish I could go back in time and... we do have Avengers who can manage that... but it doesn’t change that what I did was wrong. 

You were the best thing that happened to me, you got me accepted into this family. You deserved better, and I... I guess you have that now. I am willing to do better, I just want you to know that. I’m not asking for a chance, I just... I don’t know what I’m asking. Just know I’m open to making amends’. 

You look at him, not knowing what to say. You really are happy with Jacob, and can’t break his heart... but part of your heart is being tugged by Loki’s. 

‘Don’t say anything...’ Loki interrupts your thoughts. ‘I don’t want to put you in an impossible position. Just... I love you. If it’s him you want, I will leave forever. I’ll go to Asgard, you can feel comfortable with the Avengers-’

‘You don’t have to leave...’ 

He smiles at you. ‘My darling... it’s not for you, it’s for me’. 

You feel physical pain in your chest and you take a deep breath. His words sit on you like a freight train and while he’s trying his best to unburden you, it isn’t working. 

‘Thank you, Loki’ you say. 

He bows his head slightly, then leaves. As he walks away, you see Jacob looking at you. You wave at him and he mouths “are you okay?”

You nod, but he still walks over. 

‘Wanna go out for ice cream?’  ‘Yes please’.
