A/N: Hope you guys like this and are still interested in this story after so long between updates! the last few months have been kind of a struggle for me getting out of china during the coronavirus stuff, every single one of my family members was quarantined for 2 weeks besides me, but luckily none of them ever came down with the virus and they’re all okay! I hope we all are able to remain healthy in the next few months.
Also, it’s worth noting that namjoon and Jimin's manor house is not on the map provided in chapter 2! That manor house is a different one! this chapter is a little heavier in the plot and family sweetness vs. the Yoongi x reader romance. hopefully, you don’t hate it!
Part 1    Part 2
Tumblr media
- You have no idea what the dragon council will decide. If they’ll let you keep Hoseok or decide that it’s better if he remains with his own kind. and that- not the dragons you might meet or the thought of being in a city that hates your kind- is what scares you the most.
- It’s a fear that Yoongi shares, but you try not to let it bother you- or to let Hoseok know that you’re scared. All of you ignore the possibility that Hoseok could be taken from you. But because of that, you also ignore the first missive summoning you to the council.
- For the second missive, the council deemeds it best (given how Yoongi had received the first emissary) to send a messenger hawk. You ignore that letter as well, but the next one that comes delivered while the four of you are away for the day off to a nearby village for the few things that Yoongi can’t get via plundering, contains less than cordial language.
- There is another smaller message tucked into the scroll, written personally for Yoongi and not ‘Yoongi windborne, commander of the western battalion’ or whatever title the council decided to give him after the last war (it hardly means anything- the dragon council’s garrison hasn’t been called in well over 100 years).
- The note is small and in a scrawl he recognizes: Come and visit! Jimin misses you. I hear you have a son now? And a mate? We’d both love to meet them. Namjoon’s chicken scratch writing is still the same after all these years, Yoongi flips over the other side of the note. I’m trying my best, but I can only hold them off for so long – KNJ
- Though it’s been years since the last time they spoke, and even longer since they’d seen each other in person, Yoongi’s heartstrings tug uneasily as he thinks of Namjoon sticking up for him in front of the other councilmembers. Once upon a time, Namjoon had been one of Yoongi’s lieutenants, though they’d been much more than that, the horrible business of war binding them closer than friends and more like family.
- He, Seokjin, and Namjoon had all found each other during the last war. yoongi had been without his family by that point, and searching for a cause- anything really- to occupy his eternity. Yoongi had been appointed as a commander after he’d been successful in a few minor battles. Namjoon had been assigned to his battalion, a dragon from the north with no formal training come south to prove himself.
-  Seokjin brought to the same place as a medic who owed allegiance to neither side and only wished to make the war less bloody. Yoongi was the only commander that allowed Seokjin into his camp, as he was stalwart about treating both sides, enemy and friend alike, and yoongi was the only commander who would support him doing both. They’d been fast friends, outcasts among the ranks, and they were friends still.
- After the war they’d all scattered to different parts of the globe, Namjoon- because he had a dream- a dream to make the world better, and like all fools, had decided to go into politics. A mixture of grief and hopeful sorrow (and love- endless love) had driven Seokjin north.
- Yoongi still remembers it, the day that they’d paused on their march to join another battalion settled in for a warm afternoon in the human kingdom. the world so flat deep into orchard lands and taken refuge in peach fields that had turned to ashes in the coming months as the war had ravaged the countryside. He remembers hearing the shout, Seokjin leaping up from where he’d been reclined against Namjoon’s cool side, the dragon barely shifting let alone actually shifting.
- Yoongi runs with Seokjin, seen the teen- the young man sitting below a ladder, a knife meant for cutting peaches from their tree embedded in his arm. he’d seen the way that Seokjin had looked at the man as he pulled it out, the wide boxy smile as the human marveled at Seokjin’s magic.
- There is a reason why Seokjin never comes south anymore, the peach fields remind him too much of Taehyung not to hurt.
- But maybe Taehyung and Seokjin’s story is better placed for a different time.
- Yoongi like Seokjin, hadn’t wanted to go back to the city, too used to being on his own at that point. And still- the guile of war hadn’t ebbed the grief of losing his own parents. It’s rare now, that Yoongi thinks of them time finally healed those old wounds. When he looks at you- he knows he has a new family now, and this one he’s determined not to lose.
- They’d lost contact mostly because of Namjoon’s appointment to the dragon council- a feat in its self for a lowborn tundra dragon from a tribe like Namjoon. Yoongi hadn’t bothered pushing the contact- knowing that they’d remain friends no matter how much time separated them. He’s glad that’s still true even now.
- Over the next few days, Yoongi mulls it over, but he knows he can’t outrun the council forever. Fall has already gripped the mountains by the time Yoongi finally takes the four of you to the dragon city to meet with the council.
- Both you and Jungkook greet the awaiting hundreds of thousands of dragons with something like mixed trepidation on your part and wonder on Jungkook’s. Hoseok is another matter: he clutches at your hand the whole flight to the city, both he and Jungkook tied tight between your legs for safety. And though Jungkook might nod off most of the time lulled to sleep by the gentle up and down movement of Yoongi’s back in the sky. Hoseok curls close to you, nuzzling into your shoulder periodically. Glad to be so close.
- He can’t fly yet, but you know from the way his wide red eyes look at the puffy clouds that he’s feeling some sort of call to the wind that both you and Jungkook are immune too.
- Well... maybe Jungkook feels it too in some way. When he’s awake and not curled up, he and Hoseok shout into each other's ears over the sound of the wind, sometimes holding out their hands in mock flight.
- Your hands remain firmly around either of their waists, holding on harshly to a support rope in front of you. Somehow you don’t think you’re ever going to get used to flying, your stomach dipping with every new headwind.
- The journey is long and hard- but you couldn’t imagine making it on foot if flying takes a week. The first two days you don’t escape the frozen mountains; you’re lucky for Yoongi’s warm back between your legs to keep you from really feeling the cold. You keep your same old shawl- the first one that Yoongi gave you wound tight around your neck.
- before you’d left Jungkook had found his old baby blanket shoved deep in an old chest of Yoongi’s with a few old storybooks, It had surprised both you and Yoongi when he’d found it- and started wearing it much like you wear your shawl. “It has my name on it- so it must be mine” he’d said, proud over the fact that he could read.
- Hoseok had looked a little shy and unsure, fingering the red scarf whenever he can, until you’d gone to the nearby village to get some supplies for your journey and gotten him a matching one. Though his is blue so dark it’s nearly black, and has a hood that he can tug up to hid his horns if he ever needs too!
- He’d hopped up and down when you’d given it to him, wanting you to scent it before he put it on, snuggling down into in and hiding his mouth in it with a little happy dragon noise. He and Jungkook look like quite the pair, Jungkook’s black hair and red shawl, and Hoseok with his red hair and black shawl.
- You pass over woods on the other side of the mountain range, dotted with waterfalls and visible streams that grow over the next few days into rivers that wind in and out of view. You start to spy hollows and carefully carved out dens in the few mountains you pass, or even nests. You pass over tall hills dotted with red poppy fields and farmland, and even camp in one late at night.
- The tall blooms hanging over your heads as you sleep in your sleeping bags. you wake at first light with red petals dotting your hair, Jungkook and Hoseok sleeping on as Yoongi slowly picks them out, giving you a kiss to your face and chest for everyone. Ending his morning kisses with a scalding one just over your heart.
- When the little settlements that dot the countryside start to grow more numerous, more like large towns, Yoongi flies higher just to stay out of sight of the others of his kind.
- He doesn’t know how your and Jungkook’s presence so deep into dragon lands will be received, especially out here in the country where many are loathed to forget any of the wars in recent memory or the one that’s currently blooming. The citizens of the dragon city, on the other hand, are far more accepting, even overly curious if Yoongi remembers well- it’s been about 100 years since he last set foot in it, things could have changed.
- But Yoongi is still a little too worried for comfort, the last time that you land to make camp, everyone can feel how tense it is. It must be the hardest for Hoseok, already wound tight by anxiety and further stressed out by Yoongi’s off-putting scent of discomfort. The youngling spends the whole night shifted and scent marking both you and Jungkook, huffing every time either of you try to move away from him.
- There are some precautions that they have to take before you enter the city limits. Both you and Jungkook are carefully scent marked and each given something of Yoongi’s to wear as claiming items. Yoongi gives each of you a bracelet made from one of his shiny black scales that he made a few weeks ago. Any dragons that see you will know you’re claimed and spoken for- even if he turns away for a moment and you’re caught without them.
- In the end, it’s only the curiosity of what Yoongi is doing that makes Hoseok shift. Hoseok sweetly makes both of you one too- though his are rougher and not quite as elegant- a simple twine necklace with one of his red feathers for each of you to wear around your necks- that way everyone will know you’re apart of Hoseok’s family too.
- “Do you like it?” he asks after he steps up to where your legs are crossed around the campfire and puts the long string around your neck, you wrap your arms around him and pull him into your lap. Making him erupt into giggles “I love it Hobi I’m never going to take it off” he presses his cheek to the top of your head, scent-marking you before he darts away to give Jungkook his.
- on the day you enter the city, Yoongi is careful to circle the city from above, you can smell the ocean even if you can’t see it yet high above the clouds. He’d warned you before- to hold on, that entering might require some fancy flying. When you first breach the cloud line from above- you’re shocked, what you first assume is a cloud of brightly colored birds grows in size as Yoongi falls into the steepest dive he dares with you on his back, gliding into a slow spiral down.
- You’re glad you’re a little too scared from the dive to even look around- or else you’re sure that the sheer number and dimorphism would scare you. you break through the second layer of clouds and the city rises up to meet you.
- The city is in the center of a massive island miles across, on one side of it- the city rises up slowly to the edge of a cliff, a tall castle at the highest point. But even on the other side, you can see the cliffs are dotted with hanging buildings. On the less steep side of the city, tall buildings are wound through with canals, colorful ships docking to unload their wears from far off lands.
- You’ve never seen so much glass in one place, in the human realms, glass is costly and usually used sparingly- but this castle is nearly made of the stuff, piercing the sky like a faceted quartz crystal. The city it’s self-looks almost like a human city if not for the taller towers, landing pads, and wider roofs for sunbathing dotted with Jem colored scaly beings that look lazily at the sky when Yoongi descends.
- You’d never realized how Yoongi might compare to others of his species, but even here- his black wings seem to block out the sun, he’s easily twice as large as the average size. luckily none of them fly too near to you- the thousands of dragons dotting the sky too preoccupied with their own destinations to wonder at yours.
- You’re glad you’re a little too scared from the dive to even look around- or else you’re sure that the sheer number and dimorphism would scare you.
- The entire fiasco of landing takes about a minute but feels longer.
-  When you land, it’s in a square in the shroud of the castle with steep walls and a large hall- faceted like a cut stone. The wide black landing pad is tiled with white stones in the shape of a coat of arms. The hexagonal black stones are warm underfoot as you slide off of Yoongi’s back the insignia- whatever it might be, indiscernible now that you’re at ground level.
- Attendants rush forward, some of them puzzled and others, who recognize Yoongi dropping into deep bows.
- Though Jungkook had been excited when he’d first learned that there was a whole city full of dragons- now he’s shy, tucks himself into your legs when you slide onto the stone. Hoseok falls into a flurry of feathers, shifts halfway down Yoongi’s back and steps in front of both of you, his feathers raised and puffed up to make himself look larger.
- It’s strange, you’d never imagined the different ways in which dragoness could present its self In human form but now you see there is some sort of dimorphism between shifting species. A young woman with wings rushes forward as if to take your bags, but halts when Hoseok hisses at her. There is even one with a tail poking out from underneath her skirt, and a group of small soldiers who look more dragon than human even though they’re still bipedal.
- A pretty looking soldier with silver scales sparkling along his shoulders like the armor he also wears steps up, a spear held in his shaking hands not at the ready, but held almost as if he is unsure of the threat. Yoongi steps in front of the three of you smoothly- the shift ending with a flap of his robes, suddenly toe to toe with the soldier who looks like he’s about to faint, eyes widening at the sight of Yoongi’s human form.
- He’s quick to drop the spear, and back up, you almost think you see Yoongi smirk. “I am Yoongi Windborne, victor to the battles of frozen fires, of tialug pass, the stolen city, Commander of the eastern battalion and victor to the 33 year war, I have come to the council when summoned, take me to them.”
- A dragon woman with no visible mark beyond her slanted emerald eyes steps forward, the pin on her chest of a large fire-filled flower (what you decide you must have seen in the center of the coat of arms. Later Yoongi will tell you it’s the symbol of the council) she introduces herself as The main caretaker of the castle and drops into an elegant bow “I will take you to them master, follow me.”
- The palace guards recede; Hoseok sifts back and straightens, Yoongi nods and then gestures with his hands for you to follow without turning from the woman. You would reach out and take his hand if it weren’t for Jungkook and Hoseok clutching either of yours. Jungkook is wide-eyed and a little bit frightened, but his wide brown eyes dart to take in absolutely everything he can. Hoseok is still and as tightly wound as a statue, his back rim rod straight holding your hand so tightly in both of his that it’s starting to hurt.
- “Your family may wait here,” the caretaker says, as you break out into a small antechamber. It’s a little enchanting, the open-air courtyard with a raised pool in the center pastel colored fish swimming lazily in the clear water. Great bushels of puffy pink flowers hang from the ceiling above- giving the whole thing an almost cloudlike aesthetic, small glass orbs hang periodically that seem to glow dully with muted light hang on unseen strings.
- “I’ll give you a second to settle in,” the caretaker says then turns her back to the two of you, farther on down the hallway you can barely hear it, the sound of clamoring voices and a small shout, a loud booming laugh. You figure you must not be far from the council room.
- Your boys look up at you, and you lean down, pressing a kiss to either of their for heads. “Would you give your father and I a minute?” they both nod, their mismatched black and red curls bobbing as Hoseok transfers his death grip from your hand to Jungkook’s and lets the younger pull him in the direction of the pool.
- Hoseok holds onto Jungkook, smiling down at Jungkook when he says something about the fish, the elder trying to stop the younger as he tries to climb up and over the ledge and into the pool, laughing when Jungkook pouts, “Don’t let them take him Yoongi- please- I can’t- if they do-”
- Yoongi shushes you gently, his wide hands combing over the back of your hair. He makes a comforting noise in the back of his throat. But his grip is tight, his body too tense to be entirely comforting. “I won’t let that happen, I promise” You nod, hold onto him extra tightly. Yoongi leans forward to scent mark dully against your cheek. The slow circles he draws with his nose tempting a watery giggle.
- He leans back, pressing his forehead against yours hard, eyes opening, more resolved, a rage you’ve never seen in his eyes before. You imagine not for the first time what he must have been before you. You always see Yoongi so soft its easy to forget he once lived the life of a warrior. His eyes flash with a rabid hidden fire, something that flares to consume and destroy.
- But it’s gone as quickly as it comes, his eyes softening once they focus on you. The giggles from Hoseok and Jungkook dancing along the tiled wall of the pool distracting him.
 - “I’d burn down the whole city before I let them hurt you.”
- Together the two of you walk towards your children. You pull Jungkook away to a corner, wanting to look out over the city and the wide windows. Leaving Hoseok and Yoongi to talk.
- Yoongi crouches down to Hoseok’s level and hugs him tightly, the flechling holds back twice as hard. “My little flechling” Yoongi says, barely keeping his tears at bay. The words tugging out of him before he can think better on it…but there are some things that need to be said. yoongi might not have a chance after today.
- He hopes, not for the first time- that he’s not fucking this whole father thing up. He hopes he’s Judging correctly that Hoseok even so small and young will be able to make this choice.
- With everything he’s been through, he deserves to be treated like a grown-up but protected and cared for like the child he is. What Hoseok wants matters the most in this, regardless of what you and Yoongi want.
- Yoongi knows that Hoseok hasn’t had an easy few months- not by a long shot, losing his family and the long months of healing had been hard. But yoongi hopes that they’ve done the best that they could.
- “You know how much I care for you, how much Jungkook and y/n care for you too, we love you and we want you to stay but none of that matters if you want-“ Yoongi’s voice falters, and he doesn’t get the chance to finish his sentence before Hoseok is tugging back with a vice-like grip shanking his little head back and forth furiously knowing Yoongi’s words before he’s spoken them, little curls bobbing and flopping up to curl against his golden horns.
- “I want to stay- I want to stay with you and them, please- please don’t let them take me away.” he cries, clutching onto the back of Yoongi’s neck.
- Yoongi strokes down his back carefully, his arms a cage around his son to protect him from all that would harm the young dragon. Their horns knock together a little, as Hoseok scent marks Yoongi in the clumsy little kid sort of way that makes Yoongi’s heart clench painfully.
- “Of course not, I’d never let them take you from us hobi, i promise” from the corner, Jungkook giggles and calls for Hobi to come and see the view of the city below, oblivious, half hanging out of the window and probably in danger of falling if it weren’t for your hand fisted in the back of his shirt. Hoseok nods, and Yoongi knocks their foreheads together once before he lets Hoseok go, his hand lingering on Hoseok’s small shoulder for just a moment longer.
- Yoongi is ready to face them.
- The Dragon Council quiets when Yoongi enters, some of them even stand while the caretaker announces him by rank and title. Yoongi himself even rolls his eyes at a few of them- the council and their formalities must have anointed him with more than a few in his absence from the city. The council room is the same as yoongi remembered it. The sealing is hexagonal and faceted with glass like a jewel, the councils two dozen seats set up a few feet so that whoever remains in the anti-chamber below to meet with them needs to look up to make eye contact.
- He spots his old friend in the crowd, Yoongi sees the ice drakes face breaks out into a happy smile at the sight of him. Namjoon’s chair falling back as he stands up too quickly at the sight of his long lost friend. A smile that Yoongi returns with barely a press of his lips- later, there will be time for a more solid hello.
- The discussion and clamor is almost immediate. Yoongi quickly needs to reign in his temper.
- “While it’s not unheard of for human’s to be apart of a hoard, it is a little unconventional. Are we certain Yoongi is the best caretaker for the flechling? Should he not be put with some of his own kind? Someone with more natural inclinations?”
- Before Yoongi has a chance to growl out his anger at the impertinence and the disrespect they’re showing you- his mate- and not just a thing- Namjoon speaks up for him. The air chills in the wide throne room as Namjoon’s temper spikes.
- “You seem to discount Yoongi’s loyalty to us, despite the fact that it’s not in his natural inclinations.” namjoon throws their words back in their face,  Namjoon is right, Most solitary species of dragons are more likely to tell the council to fuck off rather than follow their thinly veiled orders framed as requests.
- “He’s never hesitated to come at your beck and call. If he wants to look after him and the flechling also wants to stay with his adopted family, I vote to allow him that, and transfer custody of the child to Yoongi.”
- Namjoon has gotten far more eloquent during his time as a councilman, Yoongi realizes. As he watches the way that Namjoon takes the room's attention and focuses it. There is barely a trickle of his northerner drawl left in his voice. He’s not the same rough winged and backwater hatchling Yoongi had first met- nor the battle-hardened soldier he’d left on the edge of the city limits all those years ago. Namjoon’s done well for himself.
- “Also, he’s been verry clear during his explanation that the human woman is his mate Jaebeom- would you forgive such disrespect if the same indifference was shown to your mate?” the other dragon growls in reply and then mumbles something about Namjoon’s own choice of mate being unconventional at best and a conflict of interest at worst, but Namjoon is stalwart.
- “There is another nuance to this issue as well, there are proper channels for this sort of thing, I for the life of me can’t imagine why Yoongi did not bring the child to us when he first found him and instead left us to find out that he’d been illegally harboring the child-“
- Yoongi’s voice is a growl as he interrupts, “my s- Hoseok was injured, councilwoman, I assure you legal formalities were the last thing on our minds when we first found him.”
- That prompts a whole other vein of discussion. “A human healing a dragon? how preposterous!” “How do we know that she even healed him well enough?” “The fledglings flight abilities could be at stake! We must have him looked over by the healers at once” “You definitely should have brought him here if he was injured- the only ones who could heal him properly is us.”
- “I think we need to ask the child what he wants.” Comes the final vote, from an elderly woman in the back, she’s been a member of the council for most of her life and the wings that drag behind her when she stands are blown through with arrow holes and rustle like delicate paper. Yoongi wonders if she can even fly anymore.
- Not too surprisingly, you refuse to let Hoseok go into the chamber alone, and Jungkook too because you won’t let Jungkook be alone in a strange place either. Your family files into the room, and though more than one of the council members seem to view your very presence to be an insult the rest of them seem to relax momentarily.
- And of course, it helps that Hoseok enters the council room in his dragon form, makes them seem more at ease somehow, like they where worried he was being forced to stay in his human form (but come on really? You can’t help but be a little indignant at that.)
- At first, Hoseok will not step into the middle of the room, won’t leave your side by where you stand with Yoongi. you stoop to put a hand on his back, “Hobi it’s okay honey they just want to talk to you” Hoseok lets out a pained whine that makes more than one dragon in the room stiffen, you too, your hand smoothing over his feathered wing as they flutter a little agitatedly, snapping once. “I’ll go with him mom,” Jungkook says, tugging on the little mane of feathers on Hobi’s neck and leading him into the middle of the room.
- Hoseok goes, needing to be reassured every few feet by a soft word from Jungkook but he gets to the small raised circle, a podium just large enough for both of them to stand, without much fuss even though Hoseok looks like he’s about to bolt.
- “They seem to have a close bond” one of the council members notes to the open room, the awaiting dragons appraise Jungkook and Hoseok with every step. Hoseok holds the end of Jungkook’s scarf in his mouth for comfort.
- The closer they get to the Centre the more Hoseok shakes, his feathers standing on end making him look twice as puffed up. “We are! He’s my best friend!” Jungkook chirps, unbothered by the council members' scrutiny.  some seem to bristle at Jungkook’s enthusiastic response and Namjoon stifles a snort, raising his eyebrows in Yoongi’s direction. the look seems to say “a spunky one you’ve got there” Yoongi barely suppresses a grin.
- “Will you be shifting any time soon?” a councilman snaps out when they’ve been hovering in the center of the room for a few seconds, Yoongi is careful to grab your arm tightly, making the snarky response die in your throat as a growl of his own ripples out of his throat. The look he sends you is apologetic, but you interfering will likely make it worse. Yoongi’s hand remains tight on your forearm, his thumb rubbing in soothing circles.
- “Sorry, it will only take a second,” Jungkook says, answering for the two of them Surprising both you and Yoongi. Maybe it’s something in the way that Jungkook says the words you think. Maybe it’s the unwavering trust that Hoseok has in Jungkook or the fact that he was the first one to crack through Hoseok’s shell when he’d come into your care. You have to admit- you have no idea what’s happening, and neither does Yoongi really, as Jungkook cups Hoseok’s cheeks in his hands.
- In dragon form, Hoseok’s head rises at just about eye level with Jungkook. The younger presses their foreheads together for a second the same way they always do. The council watches with confused looks at first and then wide eyes, the elder council woman’s eyes hardening and her hands tightening over her walking cane, her eyes bright as she looks down upon them.
- The council watches with bated breath as Jungkook presses his forehead against Hoseok’s hard,  “Hobi, shift.” he commands, his quiet voice lingering in the dead silence of the chamber. By the time Jungkook pulls back Hoseok’s red hair is tangling with his black, and he blinks, suddenly more clearheaded as he peers up at the council. “Sorry, I can’t- I’m not so good at shifting still and Jungkook helps me when I need it.”
- You can’t imagine when before you’d seen it and then you remember- months ago- when that dragon had almost attacked the three of you, you and Yoongi had been busy with your bruises while Jungkook had gotten Hobi to shift. You can’t imagine what just happened really, but there must be some significance, whereas before most if not all of the council had held ire in their gazes when they looked at Jungkook- now their eyes are wide with shock and curiosity.
- You don’t like it, the way they stare at them like some sort of novelty. You watch from beside Yoongi, his hand fisted in the fabric at the small of your back, he can tell your whole body is fighting to go to your sons and put your body between the two of them, but he holds you tight to his side, knowing if you interfere you’ll only make it worse.
- “Well that settles it,” the councilwoman says, and almost immediately the others try to jump in, she raises her hand though and they fall silent, “all of you know as well as I do, that to separate a soulbond could spell certain death for either of them, if the hatchling has chosen the human boy then we need to respect it.”
- A soul bond? What is that? You want to wonder out loud, but if the faint widening of Yoongi’s eyes is anything to go by, it must be a big deal. That you might not have understood but it seems mostly unanimous, the few dragons who seem displeased are overridden by the vast majority who seem to be in agreement.
- As quickly as you’ve been summoned, you’re asked to leave, a little more politely albeit. Yoongi is asked to stay however, and he leads you to the door nodding that he’ll only be another minute or so before he can rejoin you.
- “How do you do that Jungkook?” you ask as you leave, one of your son's hands in each of your own, Hoseok’s is sweaty. Jungkook just shrugs looking a little indigent in the way that only a 6-year-old can muster. “I don’t know? Do you think they’ll have food for us when we get back? I’m kind of hungry.” you give Hoseok a look and he shrugs his small shoulders, “it’s just easier when he asks, it’s like, I can’t do it when I ask my body too but it listens to him,” you make a noise in the back of your throat.
- As it turns out, those few minutes really are a few hours, there is a fair amount to discuss. Despite the grumblings and arguing that extends well into the day, Yoongi is allowed to keep Hoseok as his charge as long as he agrees to yearly check in’s with the council, and quarterly medical check-ups to make sure his ability to fly is not impeded by his past injury as he grows into adulthood, and to introduce him to more of his kind whenever possible.
- There is another matter too, most younglings go to some sort of vocational school if they live within the city limits, magic school (if they’re so inclined like Yoongi was) or at least flight school so that they can learn best how to control their larger scaly forms. Normally, if they live outside of the city limits, schooling is left up to their parent’s discretion, but Hoseok- with his injured wing- is a special case.
- “The fledgling will be under mandatory schooling for 2 months out of the year, whenever his parents decide, during which time he will socialize with his own kind, and complete certain physical exams to ensure his body is developing correctly despite the injury, and learn to fight.”
- The burst of flame is almost immediate, as well as Yoongi’s rippling snarl that seems to shake the walls and make the windowpanes of the room rattle in their casings. When the smoke clears, Yoongi is toe to toe with the old councilman who has spoken the final missive- or sentencing, depending on your viewpoint.
- In the antechamber down the hall, you notice the glass orbs that hang from the ceiling swaying slightly though your children do not. You gnaw on your lower lip, sending the closed door, and the guard that's come to stand outside of it- with an anxious glance.
- “My child will not- under any circumstance- learn to fight- just so you can make him some soldier in your armies the same way you did to me. That, over everything else I will not allow.” He spits, fire dripping from his mouth even in human form.
- The old councilman cocks an eyebrow in Yoongi’s direction, unperturbed by his show of aggression, “this is our final say, take it- or leave the child in our care.” the threat hangs in the air for a second, everyone’s hair sticking on end, Yoongi’s hands tighten on the edge of the podium, breaking the edge away from the rest of the stone the rest of the podium creaking under his strength. Namjoon at the far end of the table- even stands up as if to come between Yoongi.
- With another snarl, Yoongi hurls the stone at the nearest window, which shatters in a fantastic splay of glass, then turns and walks away from the council- knowing that really- he has no other choice. behind him, he hears someone say something that sounds suspiciously like “overgrown baby” and “temper tantrum.”
- Yoongi’s temper has barely dissipated by the time he reaches your antechamber but is immediately cooled into syrupy warm sweetness when he sees the sight that greets him.
- There is a small food cart in the waiting room where he left you, though it looks absolutely raided. The honey cakes and small sandwiches taken apart by little fingers. Another plate only holds crumbs now, a small pile of tangerine peals piled on the floor (where Jungkook and Hoseok had sat and played a game while you’d paced and worried over the fate of your family).
- The fish in the pool now firmly in hiding after the last hour of terror inflicted on them by the two boys that are now taking a rest on the padded chaise lounge in the corner. Jungkook is piled with his head on your stomach the lower half of his pants soaked to the bone, his sticky face pressed to your stomach. The 6-year-old is never one to forget a nap, especially on a mid-afternoon as warm as this. The light from the dying sun making the room rosy and golden.
- Hoseok, on the other hand, is stretched out lengthwise, his head rested on your shoulder while you recline propped up a little on the velvet pillow. His eyes are barely open as you stroke down his back and over his hair. You hum something soft and melodic and relaxing as Hoseok holds you tightly around your middle. Hoseok sits up at the sound of Yoongi’s footsteps, the softness of your lilting lullaby silences. And Yoongi finally lets his smile break out.
- He holds his arms open, “come here Hobi” he says, and the youngling breaks out into a run, fully waking Jungkook. All of you pile in around Hoseok, squeezing the life out of him as the words spill from Yoongi’s mouth “you’re ours- you’re ours” and Hoseok happily snuggling into your tummy, then Jungkook’s head.
- “Okay! I can’t breathe! Stop squeezing so hard!” he says eventually, and you all separate from him with a few lingering touches, and Hoseok feels snuggled down and happy like he’s safer than he’s been in the last few months. Hoseok holds on a tiny bit, pressing his cheek to the side of your leg and holding around your knee, unwilling to let go even now.
- Before any of you can talk even further about what you might do next, or where you might be staying tonight, long confidant strides echo down the hallway as the council seems to get louder, stopped for a break perhaps or adjourned for the day, and a massive man in a dark blue robe rounds the corner.
- You barely catch the sight of his slicked-back silver hair- and his icy blue eyes before he swoops up your mate into a bone-crushing hug. Yoongi actually squeaks- though the sound is more of a result of all of the air being crushed from his lungs by those iron looking arms. “Min- fucking- Yoongi- you asshole making me wait that long” the much taller man starts talking a mile a minute before your mate has a chance to respond beyond a wide grin. The kind of look you thought was reserved for you and your family but- whoever he is they must be close.
- “You should have told me you where coming! And not just wiped into the council room like that- but honestly- it was worth it to see the looks on their faces- how are you? How was your journey? Jimin will be so happy to see you!” Namjoon withdrawals- knocking foreheads with him once and quickly before he pulls apart, though your mates face is equally as smiley, showing his gums and slight fangs “councilman Namjoon- who would have thought they would let a low blood like you join their ranks,” he teases.
- The grin Namjoon returns, looking down shyly- “it wasn’t easy- but I think I’m finally starting to make some headway with how they treat the lower races- oh!” he brakes off, suddenly looking down, “who might this be?” Jungkook peers up with him with wide eyes, still tugging on the long embroidered edge of Namjoon’s robes.
- “Excuse me!” Jungkook chirps, “I was wondering how you got so tall?” Yoongi stifles a laugh, you smile, and you can finally see the small nubby horns poking out of the top of Namjoon’s head start to turn from their silver that blends in with his hair- to a slight pink. Namjoon casts Yoongi an anxious glance, both of you stifle your giggles. “Ugh? Vegetables? I guess?”
- Jungkook makes a scowling face. His nose scrunching up cutely. “I was hoping you wouldn’t say that” Jungkook grabs Namjoon’s hand, giving it a little shake, “I’m Jungkook,” Namjoon looks a little bewildered but gives it a shake back, prompting both you and Yoongi to fall into giggles. “I’m Namjoon?” his sharp icy blue eyes flicker from Jungkook to Hoseok, who gives Namjoon a likewise small smile and a handshake, his small hand dwarfed by Namjoon’s large one.
- “You must be Hoseok and Y/n, it’s a pleasure to meet both of you as well” you hold out your hand and Namjoon stoops low to press his forehead against it- a strange thing- you’d almost been expecting him to kiss it. Later, Yoongi will tell you that it’s customary for other dragons to greet each other's mates that way, so as to not incidentally scent mark them with a hug, or a more familial press of a forehead to the others.
- Eventually, the conversation shifts to your plans for the rest of the stay in the dragon city. When Yoongi lets slip that you haven’t found a boarding house for tonight yet Namjoon invites you to stay at his manor house as long as you need. He doesn’t take no for an answer either, no matter how Yoongi tries to back out of it.
- The sun already set so you can’t exactly see everything but the moon hangs over the sea like an old friend, lulling the three of you on Yoongi’s back into the soft wakefulness that only a stressful day can bring. Yoongi and Namjoon are  two opposites, Namjoon’s wings taking in the moonlight and almost reflect it, whereas Yoongi is an unseen shadow as he follows the lighter colored and smaller dragon east until the city’s glow is faint on the horizon.
- The yellow light of windows dot the countryside along with other mansions, Yoongi tells you later that most of the councilmen prefer to live within the city limits, but Namjoon felt he needed a little more breathing room.
- The manor house (or small castle really) is built for a dragon, tall windows with shutters and tall glass windows. it’s bricked not with red stone but smooth white river stones stacked on each other. It’s extensive gardens and pathways extend all the way to the edge of the Seacliff, the ocean turning below a spare 50 feet from the back patio.
- a massive greenhouse swallows the western edge of the building, almost dwarfing the manor house, it’s so dark and dense with foliage that you barely see it until you land in the lawn, the grass tall and speckled through with wildflowers turned grey in the ample moonlight is soft underfoot. when you slide off of Yoongi’s back to land softly.
- It’s late enough that neither Namjoon or Yoongi protest when you decide to turn in basically the second you make it into Namjoon’s entryway. The head housekeeper is a kind-looking woman with a cloud of curly hair that almost hides her dark brown horns, her eyes almost as orange as the candlelight, pressing you to take all of your things up to the guest wing while a youth helps her carry your bags.
- Both of your sons rub their eyes sleepily, almost knocking into one of the tall vases full of flowers tucked into the alcove by the door. And the though Hoseok furiously apologizes no one seems too mad at him, the housekeeper seems to look at them with softness too, Hoseok basically holding Jungkook up, something else in her eyes as she looks to you and offers to bring up some soup and some warm milk as well.
- Yoongi holds gently to your arm as an attendant helps Namjoon divest of his councilmen’s robes, your sons already trudging up the stairs after the woman who helped you with your things. “I think Namjoon and I have some catching up to do, will you be alright with the boys?” Namjoon chimes in “our guest suite is extremely comfortable- if you need anything please tell Muji and she’ll get you whatever you need.
- You nod slowly at namjoon, Yoongi’s hand coming up to grip yours lightly on the railing of the staircase. “Of course,” you say, putting your hands on his shoulders, leaning in to give him a kiss that he returns soft, his hands splaying on your hips, hands twiddling with the lacing that sits on the small of your back. “Enjoy your talk you old lizards” you tease, making yoongi and Namjoon laugh. You head up the wide staircase,
- Namjoon’s house is lit with enough of those glowing orbs that you don’t need a candle to see, and below you hear Namjoon mutter to Yoongi, “to think after all these years you’ve finally found one to make you soft” “oh shut it Joon- you’re twice as bad if not worse with jimin.”
- The guest wing in Namjoon’s house is comfortable with a main bedroom, a secondary bedroom with two smaller beds, a study, a sitting room, a bathroom, and a balcony that looks over the ocean the door already open to let in the cool sea breeze and alleviate some of the balmy heat that lingers from the day.  Hoseok and Jungkook are a little more subdued in their exploring. Now that you think about it- you realize you’ve never stayed in a house this grand.
- Your old cottage was a hovel, and your student dorm at the medical school you’d attended only slightly worse, even when you’d been a child, you’d been passed from relative to relative, always shoved in back rooms or closets for space. You’d never- not until Yoongi- really been given enough space.
- It’s not that you were abused or mistreated, it just that having such a large family in such a world with so little hardly made it easy. You rarely think about your family now, or what little of it might remain. You hadn’t been well taken care of as a kid, left mostly to your own devices, and you don’t feel guilty- you never have, for suddenly disappearing with Yoongi a little over 3 years ago.
- But oh, how different your life is now, how different a life you’re giving your children. Hoseok shifts and climbs onto the big bed in the main bedroom. “careful of your claws Hobi” you remind him as he settles with a humph in the generous display of velvet throw pillows perfectly arranged at the headboard. Jungkook beside you lists into your leg and you tug him up into your arms, nearly already asleep and relaxing against you fully.
- Hoseok only wakes when the housekeeper shows, plopping a bowl of soup and some bread on the small table and setting down a dish of warm milk on the bedside table. Hoseok’s snout pokes out from under the pillows and he hums in thanks, his tongue darting out to lap it up.
- You thank her while you try to wrestle Jungkook into some pajamas, the youngers so uncoordinated in his sleepiness, you don’t realize until you’re in-between the rich sheets and pressed to the cloudlike softness of the mattress that it’s the first time you’ve slept in a real bed in a few years.
- You also realize you’d seen hide nor hair of Namjoon’s mate, but you guess that can wait for tomorrow. Yoongi’s told you more than a few stories about the dragon and fairy couple, and you’d begun to look forward to meeting Jimin a little bit.
- In your sleep, you dream you’re running through a garden, searching along the edge of a camellia path for someone, something, red and white and pink flowers leading the way. You hasten into a run and break out into a wide space, a dark curly colored head shoots up, hands hovering over a lily blossom, dark eyes on you.
- “You shouldn’t be here.” he says, voice deep and melodic. his lips purse, and he plucks one petal of the lily, you watch as the petal hardens to glass in his hands, shattering with a tinkle when he drops it. “but I guess I’ll be glad for some company after so long.”
- You wake with a start, the sun shining through the open balcony doors and the smell of lily’s stinging your nose, the sea ebbs and flows the lul of crashing waves clams your sudden panic. Yoongi’s face pressed into the nape of your neck. He grumbles when you sit up, pulling you back in close, “too early” he mumbles, pressing slow and sleepy kisses against your bare shoulder, the strap of your nightgown slipped down. You don’t remember when he came in, but you guess it must have been late.
- You turn to press a kiss to his sleepy face, eyes still closed, his mouth tugging up into the gummy smile that you love so much as you cuddle in closer. But your bed is suspiciously cold and absent of your children, and you know with a new place to explore they must have been too excited to sleep, you internally blanch when you think of the mischief they must be getting up to.
- but the bed is warm and even more comfortable When Yoongi grumbles and turns to scent mark you, and you hope that namjoon or the housekeeper is keeping an eye on them, at least for a little while longer so you can enjoy a quiet morning with yoongi. The events of yesterday come crashing down on your shoulders like a lead weight. yoongi stills by your throat, sensing your sudden discomfort. You ask Yoongi about the soul bond.
- he sits back against the pillows tugging you close to rest your cheek on his bare chest. his rough hands drawing aimless circles on the skin of your back. “It’s an old kind of magic Usually between two dragons not of the same family. it’s kind of an assurance to keep groups together really.  It’s been a long time since they’ve regularly happened- and usually- it only happens when dragons are under stress” he looks down at you where you pepper kisses on his chest. “Now that I think about it, it kind of makes sense that Hoseok would need one after losing his family.”
- “Is it usually romantic or platonic??” you ask, feeling something strange curl in your stomach, trepidation maybe “it’s not like a mating mark is it?” you can’t help but feel like you’re out of your depth here, there is so much information about dragon kind that you’d been unaware of. you hadn’t realized how little you’d known about their basic political system or even their education system until you came to the city and heard about the flying school and magic academy.
- “No, it’s platonic mostly- it’s more like-” Yoongi gives a frustrated sigh “Namjoon has a soul bonded partner that isn’t Jimin- you know Seokjin-“ “your sorcerer friend that I haven’t gotten around to meeting yet? how many others do you have across the globe that you won’t introduce me to?”
-Yoongi nips at your jaw playfully, “can you really blame me for wanting to keep you to myself my love?” he growls, suddenly flipping you over and pressing your back into the soft mattress, his hand riching up your thigh- taking your nightgown with it.  the pads of his fingers are careful and slow as they press in.
- By the time you and Yoongi truly rouse to join the rest of the house for breakfast on the patio, your sons have absolutely terrorized the staff and Namjoon, who seems to eye them with something like appreciation, the book in front of him forgotten. Watching from the head of the table with amusement as Hoseok shifts to be able to reach across the table for more butter better and then shifts back.
- The fresh bread smells sweet and cinnamony and Jungkook seems to already have eaten his fill with sweet elderberry preserve smeared across his face. Jungkook prattles to namjoon a mile a minute and asks about a billion questions about the ocean, mermaids, and pirates from the sound of it.
- He drops off abruptly and smiles when you and yoongi appear from the double doors. “mom you gotta try this it’s so yummy!”  Hoseok pouts back, “I’m telling you the strawberry is better,” he holds out a little peace for you to try and the lump of jam slides off the side and onto the table cloth.
- You apologize for the mess but the same head housekeeper just gives you a smile and says that they’d both love to show you the ocean when you’re ready for some exploring today. They’d already made the climb down to the water's edge, and Hoseok tells you that there is a little private beach at the bottom and a set of stairs perfect for you and Jungkook to take.
- Jungkook and Hoseok’s hair is already curly from the saltwater. as you comb through Hobi’s curls and sit down next to him, yoongi sits across from you next to Jungkook, already prepared with a cloth to wipe his cheeks. yoongi grumbles, “how in the world did you get it in your hair Koo?” he says as he dabs at Jungkooks black curls.
- Both Yoongi and Namjoon are a little more subdued than the rest of you- having stayed up late into the night to talk, but you make polite small talk with namjoon about the book he’s forgotten about, and he promises to show you the library at one point “though really- Jimin’s the one who has a thing for collecting books”
-“No wonder the two of them get along,” you say, nudging yoongi with your foot. and it’s true- a seizable portion of Yoongi’s hoard in the mountains back home consists entirely of books. rare ones, old ones, “do you hoard books or more of just- some of the usual stuff?” you don’t see any cases of splendor, fine fabrics or jewels, only the brightly colored roses that line the patio glimmer.
- Namjoon blushes, his horns- once again turning pink in his silver hair, “Uhm no- I hoard other things- you know I’m an ice dragon right?” you nod. Even as the sun starts to warm into mid-morning namjoon looks unbothered by the warmth. a gust of cold air coming from him whenever he shifts in his chair. “well- the reason why I moved south in the first place is because my hoarded object is plants and there aren’t very many that grow where I’m from.”
-Suddenly, the variety of roses and the gardens that swath the property makes sense, as well as the greenhouse that almost dwarves it. “of course, I’m not that great at taking care of them- Jimin helps me a lot- really where is he- I should go get him or else he’ll sleep away the day-”
- It's funny, one-moment Namjoon’s staff are setting you out some sandwiches, namjoon is just sitting up to go get jimin and the next moment a man, a very naked full-sized man, is falling down onto the table. His bare feet knocking the teacups over,
- You have a face full of very pert ass, nothing on him save for the lacelike wings spurting out of his back, his blonde hair curling at his nape. “you called for me? lover?” he purrs “I was wondering when you where gonna come back to bed-“ he starts, voice low and seductive,
- You barely get your hands in front of Hoseok eyes as yoongi smacks both over Jungkooks. Namjoon- sat on the other side of the table- gets the full view going bright red, his horns the same color as the roses behind him.
- “Jimin!” Namjoon screeches, tone scalding. Yoongi starts to laugh.

a/n: A ‘hoarded object’ is the object that a dragon feels the instinctual urge to collect. there are four types of dragons, the type that does not hoard at all, the kind that dosent mind what they hoard as long as it’s shiny (Hoseok, though he does show a preference over gold things vs. silver), dragons that have a slight preference (yoongi- he’s not really sure if he likes books a lot, or if it’s his hoarded object),
and the last type, dragons that hoard one thing and only one thing, this can be literally anything- lamps, pets, teacups, rubies, beta fish, or in namjoon’s case- plants, though he does have a preference for things that flower and bonsai cherry trees.

I remember
Tumblr media
A/n: I’m in my ‘hopelessly in love with Jungkook’ mood and watched the euphoria remix video and this happened
Pairing: Jeon Jungkook x reader
Genre: fluff (basically I poured my heart out)
Summary:  “I was caught in your constellation, pulled in by your gravity. You were the sun to my earth and in that moment I knew I would revolve around you till the end of time.”
Tumblr media
The first day we met you were wearing your school uniform, toothpaste still clinging to the corner of your lips. Your hair was messy like the wind had blown through it or maybe it was from your hand constantly running through it. You hummed softly to yourself as I passed by, almost like you were trying to calm down. I remember that was the first moment I wanted to hold your hand. The first moment that I wanted to be by your side and tell you everything was okay. It was the first time that I started to fall in love with you. And maybe it’s silly to think I could fall in love at such a young age, when I had no clue of what life would throw at me, but when I cast another glance over my shoulder and caught your eyes I knew right then you had me. I was caught in your constellation, pulled in by your gravity. You were the sun to my earth and in that moment I knew I would revolve around you till the end of time.
I remember you coming into my class the next day, cheeks rosey as you explained to the teacher that you had transferred classes. I remember not being able to look away, the voices around me suddenly on mute as you took up my attention. In that moment all I could think, see, and feel was you. I can still hear you stutter a hello as you sat in the seat in front of me, cheeks darkening when I grinned back at you. You didn’t say anything for the rest of the period.
The first time we truly talked was when we had a project and could choose partners. I can still see your shy smile as you turned to me, anxiety laced in your eyes as the rest of the class quickly ran to their friends. I remember the way your eyes lit up when I said yes, the stars in them brightening so much they could outshine the moon, your cherry lips stretching into a bunny grin. I only saw it for a few seconds but I remember it being the most beautiful thing I had ever seen. As the months passed you gradually warmed up to me, your cheeks no longer reddening when I payed attention to you, your stutter hardly noticeable. Your personality finally peaked through and if I thought I was a goner before, I really was then. It was the way you cared for the people you loved that drew me in. You and your beautiful soul. You would run paper routes in the morning to buy your parents coffee every morning, you would learn idol dances just to teach me.
I remember when you asked me out on a date, I can picture your wide eyes and clammy hands holding onto mine as the words barely passed your lips. I can still feel the heat of your face as I pressed my lips against your cheek and said yes. I can still picture you standing at my doorstep that friday, button up shirt tucked into your jeans and your hair looking windblown like the first day I saw you. But we both know it was never the wind. I can still picture you at the restaurant, whining as sauce stained your shirt and your ears tinting pink as I leaned over the table to help you. I can still hear your laugh as you flicked sauce onto my own shirt so we could match. Feel your lips pressed softly against mine as we stood outside my door with the stars shining above us.
I can hear your first I love you, can feel the words hanging above us like the lights you strung above my bed. I was so relieved that you felt the same, that the feelings I’d harbored for years were warranted. That I wasn’t just another unrequited love story. I remember your face burying into the crook of my neck as I laid there in silence, your heart pounding against your chest hard enough for me to feel it. I’ve saved your look of adoration as I muttered the words back to you in the quiet of the night to memory. The love emanating from you so strong that I was happily drowning in it.
I remember graduation and then our first day at college. Both big changes in our lives but you were always by my side. No longer were you the boy with scared eyes who nervously hummed but you were a man who stood with confidence even if it was singing into a tooth brush. Over the past ten years I have known you, you have gone from my crush to my first boyfriend to my first love to my everything. And today I get the honor of calling you my husband. You’ve been my gravity throughout every moment of life, keeping me tethered to reality. You’ve been my safety, my protector, the person always in my corner. There’s no one I’d rather spend forever with and I'm thankful everyday for you feeling the same way. I love you Jeon Jungkook.

The decay of the blossom - 14 🥀
Story: BTS x Reader x GOT7
Category: Drama, Friendship, Love
Summary:  Y/N’s life starts to change as her mother gets herself a new man after her father’s passing. A new school, a new life. Everything sounds too good to be true. Apparently, destiny has its own rules and that is something she will learn when destiny gives her some signs along her way.
CHAPTER 14
When they notice that Jaebum is starting to walk towards them, they become quiet instantly. No one knows what to say nor for how long he must be standing there. Their eyes wander towards each other before Yoongi dares to speak up. “Jae-”, Yoongi says before he gets immediately interrupted by the angry look Jaebum is giving him. “Let us talk about this first before this situation is getting out of hand.”, Yoongi tries again. This time, Jaebum lets Yoongi finish his sentence but he did not spend a second to listen to Yoongi. The anger inside of him makes him turn to Mark. Y/N could feel how the atmosphere in the room starts to change but she hopes that he would calm down. The atmosphere feels as a fight is about to start and that is for sure what nobody seems to want in here except of Jaebum.
“You! You tell her this behind my back?”, Jaebum asks as he steps closer to Mark. “I told you once before, if I want somebody to know about this, I will let that person know personally. It is none of your business who knows and who does not!”,  Jaebum explains with an even angrier expression as he ignores everyone else in the room. His eyes are showing his emotions so obviously that Mark could almost feel Jaebum’s pain.
“She is our friend, come on! You said, no secret should exist between friends.”, Mark explains. “How was I supposed to know that it counts for everyone but you?” Jaebum asks himself repeatedly how Mark dares to ask him such a kind of question. The only answer Mark is getting is a simple but powerful stare. Jaebum’s eyes look as they are on fire as he turns back to her which makes her startle.
“You still have the key to your apartment, go home Y/N.”, Jaebum commands her surprisingly calm. Just a moment ago he sounded as he would want to rip his friend apart but so quickly, he sounds so friendly. The insecurity if Jaebum is truly this friendly makes her wonder if she could trust his words. There is no long time for her to doubt his words as Jaebum bites his lip aggressively with a long sigh. “Do not test me and just leave.”
“But if my neighbors-”, Y/N tries to explain but Jaebum only holds up a finger to make her stop talking. His face starts to look neutral as she tries to speak again but Jaebum was faster than her.
“I said go home. Take your stuff and leave. This is the last time I will ask you friendly about it. I do not care what your neighbors may tell your dad.”
“I am so sorry. I did not know that it runs so deep with you.” As she starts to explain why she wanted to know more, she realizes that his angry look appears again. “Okay, listen. I really am sorry but I think you get your feelings mixed up with what you heard and what happened with your aunt.” Jaebum stepped into the center of the room whilst Y/N tries her best to explain herself, but he suddenly stops to walk and turns slowly towards her one more time.  His friends start to fear that he might say something wrong as he looks so damn angry and hurt. With each step he gets closer to her, his friends become more tense up.
“Do not tell me how I feel if you do not know how this situation feels like!”, he yells as he stands in front of Y/N. Jaebum’s face expression scares her but she tries her best to stay calm. That she starts to fear him, is getting unnoticed by Jaebum. Jin on the other hand noticed it right away and steps a step forward to push Jaebum away from her but Yoongi holds him back in the last second. Confused, Jin looks at Yoongi who simply just shakes his head. Yoongi is always the one who waits and sees but Jin is always the one within the group to find a quick solution before anything goes uncontrollably wrong. Jin looked at Mark who is closer to Y/N in comparison to them. As he sees that Mark could intervene if  Jaebum would do anything stupid, he turns to Yoongi and nods at him to show him that he understands. Not a second later, Yoongi removes his hands from him. When Yoongi looks back at Y/N, he sees that Jaebum is taking over every possible inch between them. She looks slightly scared as she tries to avoid to look into his eyes directly. “You have no clue what it feels like!” Y/N gets up slowly from the couch but Jaebum does not move an inch to give her any extra space. The little space she has between her and him looks even more frightening than when she was sitting on the couch.
“Maybe I do.”, she says quietly. “I have lost my father because I did not hear him screaming my name. If I would have reacted, he might be still alive.”, she says with a shaking voice. “I know what it means to be angry and sad at the same time. Maybe you will think about the way you are behaving now later, but then you will see things differently. It is okay to be angry, but do not let it out on us. I understand that the world seems to be unfair, but-”
“Which would mean your parents would be divorced by now.”, Jaebum says coldly. This sentence confuses Y/N as she does not understand what he might be talking about. She starts to think about what she could tell him to make him feel as the world is not turning against him. To show him that he can rely on his friends but the way he said those words felt so strange. Almost as he would not care if he would hurt someone’s feeling or not.
“Huh?”
“If you would have heard your father, he might would be alive today. Which means you would have divorced parents. Especially when your stepfather starts to appear in the picture. ”
“Maybe you are right... But it would mean I would still have my dad.”
“If this asshole would have beaten her to death, she would had passed away sooner. What’s your point?” Y/N wants to scream at him so badly to shake him up from whatever is driving him so damn angry. Something inside of her tells her to be quiet whilst on the other hand she wants to explain what she tries to say.
“I know it is not the same but-”
“Poor you.”
“What...? No, I tried to say that-”
“Just because you lost your father, does not mean you understand the loss that I have to go through right now!”
“I tried to say that I try to understand what you are going through! It might not be the exact pain but it is similar.”, she explains as she looks into his eyes.
“You do not understand how I feel. No one of you can! Do you understand that finally?”, Jaebum says as his eyes start to show the pain, he had hidden all evening. “You might think that you do, but you do not. Take your stuff and get the hell out.”, he says harshly.
“Jaebum, hey!”, Mark says as he tries to push Jaebum to the side to make room for Y/N so that she could get her stuff.  “Do not scare her. I told her about it. Be mad at me if you like but she was just curious.”
“Just curious? Who else did you tell about me, huh? Who else is curious about my fucking life? Who knows about my life more than I want them to?”
“Calm down.”, Jin intervenes whilst Yoongi is walking towards Y/N who had just walked away from Jaebum.
“Calm down? I am. If I would not, I would have punched his damn face already.”, Jaebum yells as he pushes Jin away from him before he turns back to Mark.
“We can talk this out without yelling at each other.”, Jin tries his best to not take sides but in his heart, he feels as Jaebum is overreacting on this situation.
“She is our friend. Why would she not be allowed to know?”, Mark asks again. Yoongi and Y/N only hear Mark’s question as they leave the living room. Y/N wonders about his answer but right now, she knows it is better to not make him even more angry as he already is.
“Y/N, let’s get your stuff.”, Yoongi says as he places his arm around her shoulder to lead her into the guest room to help her pack her stuff. “Is everything in your room or do you need to collect your things in different rooms?”
“I got the most stuff in the guest room.”, she says as her mind starts to spin in circles. “I did not mean them to fight about it. I should have not asked Mark to tell me...”
“Yeah, you really should have not done that... Once he calms down, he will understand his behavior was wrong. Do not think too much about it.”
“Where am I even supposed to go? I cannot go to Jinyoung, his parents might realize that something is going on. I cannot go home, because I know that my father will flip out if he hears that I have been alone at home the whole time.”
“We will pack your stuff, then we will meet up somewhere with the others and then we will see what the best option is.”
“You do not sound as you usually do when you talk to me.”
“Uh, yeah. Sometimes I can be like that too.”, Yoongi jokes whilst Y/N starts to pack the few unpacked stuffs which are all over the room into her suitcase.
“I guess I got everything.”, she sighs as she closes her suitcase.
“We will find a solution. You can stay with one of us.”
“Are you saying that I am staying at your place?”
“Oh, hell no! My parents would kill me if I bring someone home without telling them. But I am sure someone else can take you in.” Y/N looks depressed at Yoongi whilst she nods. “Stop looking this depressed. You are bringing me down with that face.”
“I just wondered... Can we also find a solution for me to stop feeling this bad?”
“Sure.”, Yoongi says as they walk back to the living room. As they become closer, the louder it becomes. When they step into the room, they only hear Jaebum and Mark screaming back and forth at each other.
“I said I am sorry. You said there should not be any secrets between any of us. Why are you the only who still has one? Why did you not tell her this in the first place, huh? You had plenty of time.”
“I swear to god I will kick your teeth out if you keep speaking.” As Jaebum finishes his sentence, Jin jumps between them.
“Guys, stop that!” Jaebum tries to swing a punch at Mark but he stopped as notices that he almost hit Jin instead.
“Like father like son.”, Mark says annoyed. Jin tries his best to let it not end in a fist fight as he notices the change of the atmosphere. It would not be the first time, but it would be the first time for him to take care of both of his friends at the same time. It is not unusual to them to have a fist fight between each other. Afterwards they would usually laugh and joke about their stupid fight. Just this time it does not feel right to not intervene.
“What did you just say?”, Jaebum questions as the anger that he got under control starts to surface light of the day again.
“Oh, did you not hear me? I said, like father like son.”, Mark repeats slower.
“You son of a bitch!”, Jaebum yells as he positions his fist in the air but Yoongi is quicker to storm to his side just to push him backwards.
“Hey! Enough both of you!”, Yoongi says as Jaebum stops fighting him to get to Mark. “That was inappropriate!”, Yoongi yells at Mark as he steps in front of Jaebum.
“Did you really have to say that?”, Jin scolds Mark. “Seriously? How much lower can you get?”
“He is the one who had his fists balled up the whole time and you are asking me?”
“You know exactly why I am asking you and not to him!”
“Just shut up.”, Mark says as he and Jaebum look at each other. Y/N feels frozen as she listens to their words as she studies their body language. Jaebum looked as he would want to fight. Yoongi and Jin are tensed and worried about what will happen next. When her eyes land on Mark, she can see that he is on defense mode. It feels weird to her to see her friends like this. Her eyes turn back to Jaebum when she feels his eyes on her.
“I see you are done. Leave!”, Jaebum yells at Y/N as he points at the door. “Should I open it for you?” He waits no second before he walks to the door. Y/N follows him and puts on her shoes.
“I am sorry. I should have not pushed him to tell me about your father. If your mad, be mad at me. Mark only did what I asked him for.”
“You can look into my eyes and repeat yourself multiple times, I do not care.”
“Sorry.”, she apologizes quietly before she grabs her suitcase quickly.
“Just remember one thing, I have no troubles to open the door for those who want to leave. It is easier to say goodbye than to understand somebody else’s actions. Think about it.”, Jaebum says as his friends stand in front of his door. “Think about it.”, he repeats as he closes the door. As his friends leave, he sinks to the floor. Never did he want to speak to her like that, nor to any other friend. Never did he want to punch Mark either but the emotions are heating him up and it makes him feel so angry about the whole world. Life is already so unfair in his eyes. Therefore, he wonders if he went way too far or if Mark’s doing were as bad as he thinks it is. So many thoughts fill his mind as he continues to sit behind his door with his tears streaming down his face.

“Now that we are all finally together, we should discuss where Y/N should stay tonight.”, Jin says to his friends in the small park which seems to have the same distance to everyone else’s home. Her friends call it the ‘center park’. Almost drown in her thoughts, she looks up when she hears Jin sighing. “She cannot stay with me because I will drive away with my family for three days. Y/N, you could only stay at my place until Monday.”
“Well, at least for tonight...”, Y/N sighs. “At least we have a solution for one night...”
“It just sucks that I cannot let you stay at my place.” Jinyoung says annoyed as he plays with her hand. Y/N nods as she watches him play with her fingers. “I wished I could hide what I feel...”
“She could stay with me though.”, Jungkook suggests. “My family does not have any plans to travel for the next few days.” Yugyeom immediately looks at Y/N before he looks at Jungkook.
“Uhm, Jungkook. Let me remind you that your father said yesterday that he wants to take us to the sport game. A sport game for which he rented two hotel rooms for...”, Yugyeom tries to remind Jungkook whilst his eyes move to Y/N. “My parents are not here either, that is why I stay with Jungkook. Do you want to go to a sport game? Maybe we can arrange that...”
“No, not really.”, Y/N answers as she starts to play with the string of her jacket with her free hand.
“You could stay with me.”, Jimin offers. “You can have my bed. I do not mind to sleep on the couch.”
“I do not want to make you leave your room.”
“The couch is in my bed room. So, no worries there.” She looks at Jinyoung for a moment before she nods with a little smile.
“Sounds good. Thank you.” Jimin nods his head whilst he looks at Jinyoung. Jinyoung looks disappointed.
“Why do you look so disappointed? We can still hang out...”, she wonders.
“It is just... I am your boyfriend. I should be there for you but because of your father we have to keep it all quiet.”
“I know. I would have preferred to stay with you.” Jinyoung pulls her closer and leans his head on top of hers.
“I will talk with Jaebum.”, Jinyoung suggests. “Maybe I can calm him down.”
“You should leave him alone.”, Namjoon proposes. “If he is really that angry, then he needs to calm down first before any of us tries to speak with him.”
“He threw her out and knew in what kind of troubles she would be in if her parents would figure it out.”
“We all know that we could find someone else who could take her in. She will stay at Jimin’s place for now. Everything will turn out alright.”
“It is not alright. If he spoke to her like that, he needs to apologize. She only tried to understand him, I mean... What is his deal? It happened and it is nothing to be ashamed of. It was not his fault.”
“You are right.”, Hoseok sighs. “We all should have gone over to his house instead of you three. That was a stupid idea to send your three anyways…”
“She kept on asking.”, Mark says defensive even though nobody asked him about it. “What should I have done about it? I just thought… You know, we do not have any secrets between each other. I just thought he would feel the same way about his father too…”
“Why did you not just say no?”
“She kept on moving closer and closer to me and those eyes became bigger and bigger-”
“Puppy eyes get to you huh?”, Tae asks with a smirk on his face.
“I feel guilty for telling her but should we not know everything about each other anyway?”
“Problem, Y/N does not seem to have anything that she could tell him in return.”, Youngjae adds. Y/N’s eyes widen as she looks at everyone who looks at her. “Is there something we do not know?” She starts to wet her lips as she sits herself straight up as she swallows all the saliva which seems to suddenly collect on top of her tongue.
“No. There is nothing.”, she lies.
“You little liar!”, Tae calls her. “What is it?”
“She starts to sweat. Look at her forehead!”, Youngjae tells them as he starts to enjoy it.
“Y/N?”, Jinyoung asks. “What is it? Do not tell me that you do have another life we do not know about.”
“Do not be stupid. Even though it is similar.”
“I am all ears. Take your time.”, Jinyoung says as he tries to stay calm. For a moment, she fought with herself if this is the right thing to do or if she should just lie to get out of the situation. Y/N clears her throat whilst her heart starts to beat faster.
“Don’t judge me, okay?”, she asks. She waited until everyone around her nodded. Y/N feels suddenly so nervous whilst she doubts if it is the right thing to do. “Okay. It is just that I know the struggle his mother seems to be going through right now. Before I came to your school, me and my mom went through something similar. We barely had any food in the fridge. Which meant that I sometimes had just a meal or two small meals a day.  My mom was working as well at the worst times three jobs, just like Jaebum’s mom seems to be.”
“We would have never judged you about it. Why did you choose to say nothing?”
“I was embarrassed. It is embarrassing to confess how poorly we lived.”, she explains as she puts her hair behind her ears. “Since last summer everything has changed.”
“Wait. Did you live like this after the passing of your father?”, Youngjae wonders.
“Yeah.”, she says as she feels her eyes becoming wet. “After his death, my mom struggled to pay the bills and did more than she could handle. I had to learn how to cook, bake and doing the household. I wanted to help my mother but I did not know how except of doing her jobs in the house.”
“Well, maybe you should let Jaebum know that this is the reason for your curiosity.”, Jackson suggests.
“If he even wants to hear it.”
“He will.”, BamBam tells him confidently with a wink.
“You are damn sure about it, huh?”,  Jin asks.
“Yep. Recorded and sent.”, BamBam answers calmly as he takes a sip from his water bottle.
“Recorded and sent? What did you do?”, Yugyeom wonders.
“I recorded the conversation. After she told us her story,  I sent it to Jaebum.”
“You recorded me?”, she questions. “How dare you?”
“Yes, I did record you. Got a problem?”
“Hell yeah I do!”
“Then you two must be even now.”
“I see what you did there.”, Jinyoung comments. “I hope your plan works out just fine.” Whilst her friends start to understand, she keeps on thinking what he meant to say.
“Alright. Well, Y/N. Let’s go! I should be home by now anyway...”, Jimin says as stretches himself. “I am getting old...”
🍃🍃🍃
Jimin’s home looks very nice. Nothing special from the outside, but the more she looks around inside his house, the more family photos and prizes from various dance competition she sees. Without asking too many questions, she looks closer at a few of them. “Hoseok, Jaebum and Jinyoung did not want to take them home.”, Jimin explains when he sees her looking at the prices on the shelf.
“Why did you take them then?”
“My uncle makes sure to watch all of my performances. He is the one who insists of keeping them.”
“Oh, does he live far away?” Jimin starts to laugh as he shakes his head. “What is so funny, huh?”
“This is his house. I live with him.”
“I thought you lived with your parents-”, Y/N stops herself from talking.
“It is fine. I did not tell you about it yet.”, he says as he winks at her. “When my parents planned to move away, I asked them if I could stay with my uncle. He practically had no choice than to say yes. He is pretty cool, very relaxed in comparison how my parents would react...”
“He will not mind that a girl stays at your place?”
“I already told him everything he needs to know about you. Sometimes, he also brings kids from his work home for a night. It will be alright.”
“What do you mean with kids?”
“Sorry, another thing I did not mention. He works for the child protective services. He was also involved when Jaebum’s parents got divorced after I told him what I saw. Do not tell Jaebum about it but my uncle could not do nothing about it and contacted his mother right away and made sure that she would go to the police and well, you know the rest now.”
“I do. Your uncle seems to be a very kind man.” Her voice became quieter when her mind calls up the situation from before. The way Jaebum reacted to the last words he said to her before she left his apartment. She starts to think if he is hurting. If he is, would he finally let his emotions go, she wonders. Deep inside in her heart she hopes that he will not be so mad at them in a few days. Guilt, an emotion she did not feel since the passing of her father is starting to fill her body. As she is getting lost in her thoughts, Jimin decides to interrupt her thinking.
“Like I said, nothing to worry about. I show you my room, come on.” Jimin starts to walk towards his room with quick steps. Y/N follows him quietly until she sees his room. It is not truly clean nor does it look like somebody would truly dare to sleep in this room. “So, this is my room.” Jimin steps away from her to clean his bed very quick. “It is a little out of control right now… I changed the sheets last night but if you would prefer the couch, you can have it. Do you prefer the couch?” Her eyes wander to where Jimin is pointing to but the couch seems almost invisible by those clothes.
“No. Uhmm, no. The bed is alright. Thank you.”
“I am sorry for the mess… I just could not decide what I want to wear for dance practice.”
“Uh. I almost thought only we girls go through that.”
“No. We suffer as well. We just prefer not to show it.”, Jimin jokes back. As they laughter becomes quiet again, Jimin hears the front door opening and closing again. “I think my uncle is here.” With those words he starts to walk towards the door. “Come on. He will not kill you.”, he says as he sees her becoming insecure.
“Today was a horrible day, Jimin. You think becoming parents is a blessing and then you see that there are people out there who do not even deserve kids. There should be something like a driver license for becoming parents... Some really do not deserve the joy of having kids.”, his uncle tells him as he hears Jimin coming downstairs. His uncle looks up once and continues to unpack his bag as he looks back up again. “Please, tell me you are Y/N and I do not have to worry about female visitors just yet.”
“Stop the jokes, uncle.”
“If you explain why she is here, sure. I thought she stays with Jaebum and his mom?”
“Well, his aunt passed away and it became a little, well… Heated, it became a little heated and he threw her out and that is way I offered her to stay until her parents are back.”
“Good. Well then.. I brought food, is somebody else hungry? I feel like I am starving.”
“We just got back, so...”
“Even though I told you to text me if you leave the house?”
“Yeah, sorry...”
“Well, at least you are safely back and you did nothing stupid. At least what I know of.”, his uncle says as he opens the refrigerator. “I guess, frozen pizza is alright? I do not feel like cooking.”
“More than alright, sir.”, Y/N answers.
“Do not call me sir. Polite, but not needed in my house. If you like you can just call me uncle. I am used to be everybody’s uncle by now.” Jimin starts to help to unpack the frozen pizza as his uncle leans closer to him. “I do not have to talk to you about having a girl over does not mean that you are allowed to experience what adults do...?”
“Could you please not?”
“Are you embarrassed?”
“No. It is more uncomfortable to talk with you about it.”
“Oh, come on.”, his uncle says sarcastically. “Do you have a crush on her?”
“She is Jinyoung’s girlfriend not mine to date.” In that very moment Jimin notices that he said what he should have not said. Panicky, he turns around just to see that she had left the room. “Please, keep it to yourself! I was not allowed to tell anyone.”
“So, that they are dating is actually a secret?”
“Yeah. Her stepfather is very strict. I do not know what will happen if he knows but he is the opposite of you in those kinds of things.”
“Something you need to tell me?”
“No.”
“If you have a feeling like you had with Jaebum, let me know.” Jimin nods as he looks back around.
“What? I only went to the bathroom. Do I need to tell you when I am leaving the room?”
“No.”, Jimin smiles as he looks at his uncle. “Feel free to move around. Just do not forget to text when you leave the house.”
“Somebody is good in listening but not in doing so, huh?”, Jimin’s uncle asks whilst Jimin prepares the table.

Love Is Not Over
WORD COUNT: 3165
SUMMARY: You are Yoongi’s psychiatrist that helps him through his dark days, but what happens when your days become dark as well?
Tumblr media
chapter two
January 13, 2013
“CHEERS!” You and your coworkers yelled together simultaneously at the bar. It was a typical Sunday night for you, and you were attending your weekly bar visit with the hospital gang. To be honest, the strangers surrounding your group in the bar probably couldn’t tell that you all worked in a hospital together. The serious atmosphere of your work environment was truly a contrast to the loud, careless environment of your Sunday night shenanigans.
You all gulped down your third round of soju shots, the sweetness beginning to take effect in the back of your throat. You shook your head in an attempt to get rid of your temporary dizziness, laughing at the sight of your friends doing the same exact thing. “Ahh. You know, soju is such a great friend of mine.” your sunbae, Ji Hoon expressed rather loudly, and hugged the three empty soju bottles in front of him. Everyone laughed and nodded in agreement. Hyun Joo was the designated driver for the night, and instead of laughing with the rest, she just shook her head out of embarrassment and passed the small bowl of peanuts closer to Ji Hoon. “You’re supposed to snack when you drink, so you don’t end up like that.” she pointed at him, chuckling. “Yahhhhh!” he ruffled her hair from across the table. “She’s so caring! What would we do without our Hyun Joo? Mm?” he signaled for the rest of the group to chip in, to which everyone responded with the clinking of drinks and a cheers to her. He winked at her, but she only rolled her eyes back at him in his drunken state.
The air of the cold night was sharp, but you were still filled with warmth as you left the bar. You didn’t bother asking Hyun Joo for a ride home, since your apartment was only about a five minute walk, and you enjoyed your alone time. You had to admit that you were a little buzzed, but not to the extent that you couldn’t find your way home or make rational decisions. Walking slowly, you enjoyed the sight of melting snow on either side of the street. You took notice of the small footprints all over one section of snow, which, you assumed, belonged to two little kids who were playing there earlier, and your thoughts were confirmed by the sight of a small snowman. Because of the melting, he was a bit lopsided, but it still made you smile. You sighed in content as you stuffed your hands into the pockets of your coat, closing your eyes and breathing in the fresh air. You glanced into the distance, where you caught sight of the Jamsu Bridge, which went over the Han River. You squinted your eyes in an attempt to get a better look at its architecture, admiring the lights and the way their reflections danced together on the water. Your slightly drunken self was so transfixed on the bridge that when your phone suddenly began to ring, you jumped slightly and were taken aback by the sudden burst of Bigbang coming from your phone speakers. You had to stop for a second and take a breath, chuckling at yourself for getting scared over a sound you heard quite often. You took your phone out of your pocket and glanced at the screen, “Unknown Caller”
You furrowed your brows in confusion, wondering what could have prompted someone to call you so late at night. As soon as the thought entered your mind, you recalled Yoongi’s words at the end of your first session with him, “Y/N, do you think it’d be possible for me to get your phone number? It’s just… It’s just nice to finally have someone to talk to, and sometimes I get these attacks where I can’t breathe and it’s hard to-” Your thoughts were interrupted once again by the ringing of your phone. You quickly answered, “Yoongi?” Instead of answering back, the only sound that came through your phone speaker was quiet sobs and hitched breaths. Your careless expression had now fully disappeared as you asked, “Yoongi, where are you?” He took a second to catch his breath, then stammered, “My s-st-studio.” You gulped, bracing yourself for what was to come. “I’m on my way.”
When you reached the Big Hit building, you stopped for a second to wonder if you’d even be let through. The bundle of nerves that hit you almost made you want to stop and go home to your nice, warm bed. But then you remembered that somewhere inside this building, Yoongi was alone. You took a deep breath and walked through the front door. You approached the front desk, but since it was so late, there was no one there. From glancing around the room and peeking into the hallways, you could see why it was easy to feel alone in this building. It was dark, empty, and cold. Why was Yoongi here so late anyway?
You gulped as you walked past the front desk, shaking off the warnings your conscience was giving you. Since you could barely see five feet in front of you, you took caution and walked slowly. After wandering aimlessly for a few minutes, your senses were greeted by the sound of sniffles just down the hall. You ran and knocked on the door, “Yoongi? Are you in there?” The sniffles stopped. There was silence, “Y-Yoongi?” You slowly turned the doorknob, letting yourself in.
You were greeted by the sight of Yoongi sitting on the floor, his knees pulled up to his chest. His hair looked as if he had tried to pull it out; it was pointing this way and that. His knees had round wet spots on them; his tears had fallen there. He was just sitting there, rocking himself back and forth, head in hands.
You sat on the floor next to him and began rubbing your hand in circles on his back, which would help to loosen his muscles a bit. “It’s okay Yoongi. Just breathe, okay? Everything is fine. You’re safe. No one is here, but me. Everything is okay. I promise. Just breathe.” You continued to comfort him as he began to take deeper breaths and regain his normal posture.
After about five minutes or so, the attack had finally passed. Both of you were still sitting on the floor. Yoongi wouldn’t look at you, but you didn’t want to leave until he was ready to be alone again. After a while, he spoke, “Y/N?” You raised your eyes from the floor to the back of his head, “Yes?” He lowered his head, “Am I crazy?” You glanced at the floor in thought before professing, “To be honest, yes. You are crazy. But so am I, and so is everyone else. Everyone out there is crazy, but that’s what makes everyone unique.”
You scooted up next to him. A tear fell down his cheek and you wiped it away with the sleeve of your sweater. “Yoongi, look at me.” He raised his head reluctantly to look you in the eyes. “You are not alone. Do you understand that?” He said nothing, but unlike all of the times before, he didn’t break eye contact with you. His eyes glistened with the recent tears that had recently fallen. The moonlight from the window reflected through them, and though you could never hear his thoughts, at that moment in time, you could feel them. For some unknown reason, you felt a strange connection to Yoongi. In the past, you had just assumed that this was how all psychiatrists felt toward their patients, but at that moment in time, you knew this couldn’t be the case. There was something different about Yoongi.
Sensing that the atmosphere in the room had altered slightly, you broke the silence by playfully ruffling his black hair, “You okay now?” He came out of his daze and forced a laugh, “Yeah.. Thank you.” You smiled, “No problem. Just doing my job. I should be going now though. I have work tomorrow. See you Tuesday!” Yoongi stayed silent as he watched you leave.
Though you weren’t meaning it in an offensive manner, those four words cut through Yoongi like a knife. “Just doing my job.” He knew that because of the doctor/patient relationship that had been established between the two of you, he could never truly express his thoughts to you. “Just doing my job.” The words came in and out of his mind like a never ending loop of notes that didn’t fit together. His thoughts carried him back to his computer screen, where he remembered what had sent him into his attack in the first place. The notes sounded good together in his head, but they just wouldn’t work when he layered them on the computer. He sighed as he got up. It was close to 2:00 am, and the other boys were probably sound asleep in their dorm. He grabbed his flannel off the back of his chair and shut off the monitor, closing the door behind him.
You sighed as you gazed at your computer screen, not knowing exactly how to classify your encounter with Yoongi the night before on your patient log. Just as an idea came into mind, one of your nurse friends, Yu Jin, knocked on your door.
“Come in!” you yelled, not bothering to look away from your computer screen. She sat in the chair in front of your desk before venturing, “Y/N, I have a very serious issue that I think I should consult a psychiatrist about.” You furrowed your brow and chuckled a bit at her bad acting. “What is it Yu Jin?” She sighed, “Why is it that my psychiatrist friend always shuts herself up in this hole she calls her office? She’s already thirty minutes late to lunch!” You looked over at your clock on the wall. It read 12:30. She shot you an evil smirk before sauntering out of your office and into the hall where she yelled, “Come on, you workaholic!”
You sighed and rolled your eyes before shutting off your computer and following her to the break room.
When you got there, you were greeted by three of your nurse friends, Yu Jin, Eun Ji, and Ji Yeon. “You actually convinced her to come!” Eun Ji looked back and forth between you and Yu Jin in astonishment. “Of course she did! Don’t underestimate the power of our Yu Jin.” Ji Yeon high fived her. You sat down at their table. “Yeah, yeah. You guys are so funny.” you scoffed. Ji Yeon looked at the empty table in front of you, “Didn’t you bring something to eat?” You responded, “Well, no. I normally don’t eat lunch.” All three of your friends leaned back in their chairs, jaws dropped. Eun Ji spoke first, “You work at a hospital and don’t practice nutrition. Shame, shame.” she shook her head as she and the other girls passed you small parts of their meals. You just laughed.
“What’s all the commotion about over here?” You looked up to see Hyun Joo sit down next to you. You opened your mouth to speak, but were interrupted by Yu Jin stuffing a triangle kimbap into your mouth and speaking over you. “Eonni, you’ll have to keep an eye on your pupil here. She just told three nurses that she doesn’t eat lunch.” Hyun Joo’s eyes rounded as she looked at you, “No wonder she’s so skinny.” The other girls around you erupted with laughter as you sighed and bit into your unwanted kimbap. After about fifteen minutes or so, everyone had finished their lunches and it was now social hour. You loved being friends with the nurses, not just because they were good people, but they always knew of everything that was going on, so you never missed any gossip. Ji Yeon had just finished a segment about how she’d subtly found out that the new male nurse was single, and Eun Ji added, “You know who else is single?” She shifted her gaze to Hyun Joo, “Ji Hoon.” Hyun Joo rolled her eyes as all of the girls giggled. “He’s all yours now!” you poked her arm. “Oh, you guys are hilarious. Like I’d be caught dead with that guy!” She joined the laughter, but soon became the only one. Her laughter was interrupted by someone standing behind her chipped in, “What guy?” Her eyes looked as if they were going to pop out of her head. “Oh. Hey Ji Hoon.” she didn’t dare look him in the face. He sat next to her and set his tray on the table. “You guys look like you’re having a fun conversation. Mind if I join?”
“Sure.” you withheld laughter. “What were you guys talking about?” he inquired. You glanced at the other girls with hopes that they could come up with something rather quickly, but their gaze was redirected toward Hyun Joo, who said, “Uh.. Eun Ji here was just filling us in on how her shift was going so far. She said that one of her patients was sick in the bathroom all morning.” Everyone except Ji Hoon internally let out a sigh of relief. But only until Ji Hoon replied, “I don’t see how that’s very funny..” Eun Ji stepped in, “W-Well, it was funny at the time because… because I was telling them of my rush to get him to the bathroom, but we kept encountering obstacles. I felt like I was in the comedic scene of some drama.” She let out a fake laugh, the three other girls following her. “Oh! That is kind of funny.” Ji Hoon said before eating some rice. Yu Jin tried to keep it going, “So uh… What are some other things you guys have been up to? You know, work-wise.” Ji Yeon spoke up next, “Well, last night, before we went out, I was taking care of a patient who just refused to go to PT. I tried everything to get him to go, but we eventually had to bring in his parents to coax him into it. I understood though. He was only four.” Everyone nodded awkwardly. “What about you Y/N?” Ji Yeon gestured toward you. “Hm? Oh, uh.. Well, last night after I left the bar, I got a call from a number that my phone didn’t recognize and it turned out to be a patient who was having an attack. I won’t say the name because that’s confidential, but I ended up going to the patient’s location and calming them down.”
There was silence. At first, you didn’t think anything of it because of the awkward atmosphere, but when you looked up, all of their eyes were on you. “Is something wrong?” Ji Hoon uttered, “You saw a patient outside of the hospital?” You began to feel uncomfortable, “Yes.. The patient needed help and I-” you cut yourself off. It wasn’t until that moment that you remembered a lesson on the ethics of psychiatry from college. You were not supposed to see your patients outside of the therapy space. The relationship was to strictly remain at a doctor/patient level, and seeing him/her outside of the office could damage that. You rested your elbows on the table, head in hands. “I am so sorry Hyun Joo. I don’t know what I was-”
“Come to my office Y/N. Let’s not discuss this here.” She got up and left the table, expecting you to follow her. You sighed, not baring to look your coworkers in the eyes.
You cautiously stepped into Hyun Joo’s office, closing the door quietly behind you. She was sitting at her desk, her back turned to you. “I know I was wrong Hyun Joo. That was honestly so irresponsible of me. When I left the bar last night, I was slightly drunk and I guess I wasn’t able to make rational decisions. Now, I may have ruined therapy for this patient and that goes completely against our ethics. And to think that I’ve only been working here for a little over a month. I’m so sorry Hyun Joo. I’m ready for any punishment I receive because I deserve it.” you panted. Hyun Joo was quiet for a few seconds before she turned around in her chair, looked you in the eyes, and observed, “You babble a lot when you’re nervous. Why is that?” You tilted your head in confusion at her direction of the conversation, “I… don’t know.” She squinted her eyes as if to study you before continuing, “Y/N, I’m just disappointed in you. You know better than that. You knew going into this that it wasn’t going to be an easy job. You have to keep your work life and your regular life separate.” She paused and shifted her line of sight to the floor. “Though I don’t want to punish you, I have to. I don’t want to fire you because you truly are very good at your job. Instead, I’m going to send you home for a week. Please email me the numbers of your patients and I will call them tomorrow to let them know.” You held back tears. You loved your job. Helping people was always a passion of yours. To have to go home all week and not see any of your patients would be really difficult. With these thoughts flooding your mind, you consented, “Yes ma’am. I’ll go pack my things.”
The next day, at precisely 10:00 am, Yoongi walked through the front doors of the hospital. When he reached the front desk, he asked for you, like normal. Instead of ringing your office, the secretary gave him a strange look before ringing in Hyun Joo. She reached the front desk with a curious expression on her face. She was directed by the secretary to Yoongi, who was patiently waiting in a chair. “Hi. I’m Hyun Joo. Can I help you?” she asked him. He was confused by this strange process. Why couldn’t he just go in and see you like normal? Why did he have to speak to all of these strangers in order to talk to his therapist? “Oh. Hi. I’m Yoongi.” he bowed, “I’m here for an appointment with Y/N.” Hyun Joo was confused, “If you’re Y/N’s patient, you should have received a call from me this morning. Y/N is taking the week off, so she’s not seeing any patients this week.” Yoongi’s eyes dropped to the floor, “Oh. Okay. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.” He quickly left the building. Thought after thought invaded his mind. Why wasn’t it you that called him? Why didn’t he receive a call in the first place? Why were you taking the week off? By the way Hyun Joo had spoken, it didn’t seem like a vacation. Were you okay? What was going on?

Ahh... Where do I start with this author’s note? I’m so sorry for not updating this sooner. I got so tangled up with school and other shit... I know that there’s literally no good excuse for this. I feel really bad because I want to give you guys good content, but sometimes it’s just really hard to get inspired to write when I’m just so busy and tired all the time. I’m so sorry, but here’s an update, and there’s more to come!

The haunted house-Rose meal
"Anyway guys let go outside and hangout it is boring," Jimin said which earned a nod from the six other boys.
They went outside and Taehyung waved to Yeontan a bye, and said that he will come back as the 7 boys got theirs by cycle.
"So where are we going?" Yoongi asked.
"Umm I don't know," Namjoon said.
"Let's go to a restaurant I know somewhat around here" Jin answered the comment.
"And what is the name of it?" Namjoon inquires.
"Meal Rose I once ate there the food is awesome" Jin replied.
"Meal rose it is," Jimin said as the 7 boys got in there by cycle.
"Lego" Hosey said as Bangthan Boys got on their bike and started riding their bike.
"So how much time will it take to go there?" Taehyung asked Jin.
"Umm 20 minutes," Jin said.
Yoongi and Taehyung groaned they never really liked riding their bike for that long.
"I rather sleep than ride my bicycle," Yoongi said.
"YOU BRAT AT LEAST YOU LOSE CALORIES -" Jin was about to complete his sentence when Hoseok fell down from his bike.
"Ouch, how did I fall down my bike?" Hoseok said.
"Do you know how it happens?" Taehyung said as he was helping Hoseok get up.
Jimin was looking around for some sign if the 4 bullies did it but they were not there when he saw a  dark shadow lurking in the back of a tree.
"Hey, you can come out you are just pranking us," Jimin said knowing it is Bigbang but no one came which made Jimin curious as he went to investigate the black shadow luring. When he went to investigate it was not there.
"Weird", he muttered as he shrugged it off knowing it is just his imagination.
Taehyung was there felling a shiver down his spine. "Isn't it summer?" he thought as he shrugs off his feelings
"I SWEAR IT TO GOD I FELT SOMEONE WHISPERING TO ME!" Hoseok was shouting in fear.
"STOP IT YOU ARE SCARING ME I KNOW IT IS JUST THE WIND" Jin also shouted in fear.
"The wind can't whisper," Yoongi said unbothered.
"BUT REMBER THE TEACHER SAID IN A POEM THE WIND WHISPERS" Jin said.
"Geez no that is a Simile, Simile is a-" before Namjoon could speak Jimin cut him, " OK thank you Namjoon for the lecture but I am hungry let go," Jimin said.
" Let get bread!" Jungkook said with excitement as Bangthan got on their bicycle again but Taehyung still felt a weird presence that someone is here that nobody's know he also is hearing faint voices but no known the voice was terrifying and dark it said, "I will kill you" but as Taehyung was lost in his thought Jimin made him snap back to reality.
" Tae Tae your again lot in your 4d world?" Jimin said, " Get on your bike were going," Jimin said with a smile.
Taehyung gave his signature boxy smile to Jimin as he went on his bicycle and the 7 boys again start cycling.
"We are here Rose Meal," Jin said happily. The 7 boys park their bicycle and went to the place called "Rose meal".
"Hyung I know you like her-" Jimin was teasing Jungkook but as soon as he was about to complete his sentence Jin gave them a death glare.
"Guys shut up you know how angry Jin gets when he is angry..." Namjoon said which made the two boys quiet.
The boys went to the restaurant which was not too shabby or not to high class it was comfy and felt like home.
"Wah Jin you really have a good taste of restaurant," Taehyung said with impressed tone.
The boys went to a table for 7 people and were talking about random stuff but Taehyung felt like something was off like he felt someone's presence, not like a good one big a bad one?
"Sir what is your order!" A similar voice asked them Taehyung looked at that person and it was Lisa. Jimin playfully elbowed Jungkook and Jungkook said.
"O-oh H-hi Lisa I did not k-know you work here," Jungkook said shuttering.
Lisa laughs at Jungkook shuttering as she said "yes I work here any order or you need time?" She said Jin carried the conversation with the order as Jungkook was death glaring at Jin, Lisa went as Jin saw Jungkook glaring at him with Jealousy filled in his eyes.
"Hahaha, my baby is Jealous?" Jin said with his windshield laugh. "Only if you had my handsome face, but don't worry I will give you some tips," Jin said.
"Jin stop before Jungkook will punch you," Yoongi said.
After some minutes the food came by Lisa holding it.
"Enjoy the food," Lisa said as he saw Jungkook wink at her. She found it weird because she knows that Jin usually does that but laughed at his cuteness.
The 7 boys are the food "peacefully" till they were finished as Lisa came with the paycheck.
"No I won't pay," Taehyung said.
"Me neither," J-hope said.
"K fine this is my idea so I will pay," Jin said as he took his wallet and gave the money.
"Omg did Jin Hyung just" Namjoon was about to say when Jin snapped at him.
"Shut your mouth before I shut it for you," he said with one of the scariest voices you will hear.
(A/n-Unedited sorry I had no motivation anyway, love u)

                                                  What are you?
A loud slam vibrates against dimly lit apartment, deep pants pulsating through the thick cemented walls as he leans against the wooden door for support. Pressing his head back against the door, he listens to the thrum of his heart against his chest, eyes squeezing shut as he tries to compose himself, skin dancing with goose bumps from the immediate jump.
He relives her wide eyes, hair damp and dripping with water, notifying him that she had just stepped out a probable shower. He remembers the loud clank of her toothbrush against the sink, over shadowing the shrill gasp that leaves her lips as she spots him. He had let out a squeak of her name without thinking, knowing damn well that he had just reassured her of his presence, his eyes shining bright red due to her call. Just as she had snapped her head back to look at him, he takes his lower lip between his teeth, deciding whether he was going to face her demons or escape, just like every other time she had confronted him.
“What are you?” She had breathed out, gripping the sink for dear life as she shivered. He explores the sparkle of her eyes, staring into the brown orbs as he tries to make sense of what she was. And how she had called out to him.
She lets out a shaky breath, expression suddenly showing a flash of bravery as she takes a step towards him. His own eyes widen in panic and he immediately reacts by slamming his hands down against the light switch, letting the darkness engulf both of them before he’s jumping back into the safety of his own apartment.
“Tae?” He jumps at the sound of Jimin’s voice, eyes snapping open as he drops his hands, hissing in resentment when he sees just how hard he had squeezed the door knob, to the point of bending the metal and ruining its frame.
“You okay?” Jimin asks again, waiting patiently for an answer from the taller boy.
Taehyung swallows the lump stuck in his throat, throwing the door open to greet his friend. Jimin’s eyebrows furrow, catching the apprehensive look flashing against Taehyung’s blood red eyes, hair disheveled and tousled as a strong breeze slaps against the taller boy’s bare upper body.
“Woah, what the hell happened to you?” Jimin takes a cautious step back, shocked to see the usually composed male so disoriented.
“Humans.” Taehyung croaks out, hands running through his hair in a panicked thought “How long has it been since they could summon us?”
“What?” Jimin frowns, not sure where his friend was going with his question. For some reason, Taehyung had been asking a myriad of strange questions lately and as much as it had bothered Jimin to the point of demanding answers, he held his tongue. No matter how long they had been separate from their realms, Jimin still had to apprehend his place.
“Humans haven’t been able to summon for more than a hundred thirty years now. Summoning in all levels had come to a stop 80 years ago, after the death of-”
“I know.” Taehyung cuts the pink haired boy off, familiar of how the story was going to end. He swipes a hand over his face, remembering the way your name had caressed his ears just a few minutes ago. He recalls how his skin had burned after hearing call and before he was jumping through space and time, appearing before you without his will.
“If you don’t mind me asking—“ Jimin tests the waters, eyes scanning his friend’s troubled face “but what happened?”
“I just got summoned.” Taehyung deadpans, leaning against the door frame as he lets out an unbelieving scoff “By her of all people.”
Jimin takes a step back, eyes wide with panic at the words that had left his comrades lips
“Summoned? How?”
“Like I’d fucking know.” Taehyung shrugs, his sanity just returning to him as your face flickers through his mind.
“Wait, Taehyung. Who summoned you?” Jimin asks, eyebrows furrowing as he tries to make sense of the situation. Their race hadn’t been summoned in over 100 years now, how in the world could some human just break that streak? And why had Taehyung been the one summoned? How could one lousy human being summon someone as powerful as him?
Taehyung takes his lower lip between his teeth, mind battling thoughts of revealing your name to Jimin or not. Your smile flashes against his mind once more, a sudden feeling of precaution washing over him as gravitates towards the need of keeping your name and identity to himself. None of their kind should know about this. None of them should know about you.
“It’s none of your business.” Taehyung quips, head turning away from his comrade as he reaches for a clean shirt to put on.
“What do you mean it’s none of my business? It’s been a hundred years, Tae! How the hell does this just happen? And why you of all people? Why a royal blood?!” Jimin all but screeches, voice booming against dark room. He takes a step forward, hands thrown in the air out of exasperation, and eyes bright red as he glared at Taehyung. A gust of wind suddenly zooms past him, banging the door against the wall as it shook against it hinges. Taehyung snaps his head back, eyes blood red and laced with command as he arches an eyebrow.
“Enough, Jimin.” The darkness in his voice causes Jimin to cringe, realizing just how far beyond the line he had stepped acting the way he had.
“I apologize and I know I have no business sticking my nose in your business but you need to be careful, especially now that the next blood moon is this close.”
Taehyung clenches and unclenches his fists, despising the fact that he had been reminded of the thing constantly clawing at the back of his mind. He turns away from Jimin, hands running through his hair in distaste as he gives the other boy a quick nod, assuring him that he knew. Jimin simply lets out a sigh, knowing better than to say anything else when Taehyung was at the brink of his patience.
Jimin gives a quick bow, stepping out Taehyung’s room and finally leaving the taller boy to the safety of his own thoughts. Taehyung waves the door shut, collapsing against his bed in exhaustion as he shuts his eyes, reliving the sound of his name against your lips.
You had summoned him once,
Which meant you could do it again.
Taehyung stares at his phone, scrolling pass apps before pressing on the calendar. He mentally counts the days since he had last seen you, frowning when he realized that this was the 8th day.
It has been 8 days since you had summoned him.
Taehyung lets out a scoff, annoyed at the fact that he had actually kept count. He drops his phone on his bed, tugging at the ends of his sweater and frowning when he realized that he had wasted yet another set of clothes today.
He forcefully shuts his eyes, picturing the face you had made at him that night, tracing each feature perfectly in his mind. He bites back a groan, suddenly feeling impatient waiting for something he wasn’t even sure you understood. Maybe you hadn’t realized what method you had used to summon him? Maybe you hadn’t realized you summoned him at all? Maybe you just thought he was a freak of nature appearing before you and now you wanted nothing else to do with him.
He immediately sits up, shaking his head in frustration to where his thoughts had strayed. Just what had he been reduced to? The feared and almighty Taehyung, spending the wee hours of his days scowling over the fact that some random human being wasn’t summoning him.
“This is stupid I bet she isn’t even fucking thinking-” The words die down in his mouth when his skin prickles with sudden heat. He snaps his head around, watching as his room starts to blur, the soft whisper of his name dancing against his ears.
A smirk forms against his lips and Taehyung immediately grabs his phone, stuffing it in his pockets as your final call rings against his ears. With eyes wide and ear bellowing in pain, Taehyung scowls at the loud beating of a base line, the sound suffocating him as bodies bump into him back and forth. He lets out a frown, surveying his surroundings, trying to identify where in the world you had dragged him. He stares up at the pink neon lights hanging above the room, the only form of brightness as waves of bodies grind against each other to some sexual song. Of all the places he was to be summoned, did it really have to be a club?
Taehyung’s eyes glance around the room, doing his best to classify you against the mass of bodies packed around the room. A hand wraps itself around his neck and Taehyung spares a quick glance to the side, locking eyes with a random girl with jet black hair, red lips smiling up sensually at him. On other days, Taehyung would have returned her smile with a seductive smile of his own, hands gripping her waist as he’d let himself gyrate his hips on hers, letting the music consume them both before they’re whisked away into some random room, doing everything the mind could imagine. But today was not one of those days. Taehyung grabs her wrist, pulling it off of his neck as he arches an eyebrow at her, telling her he wasn’t interested.
“Come on, it’s just one dance.” She purrs, white teeth flashing at him as she rubs her chest onto his arm, blinking up at him with initiative. Taehyung’s resolve waivers for a few seconds, watching as she traced random shapes into his arm, doing her best to get him to stay with her.
How disgusting
Taehyung’s eyes widen, head snapping to the direction of your voice, knowing damn well that it was you that he heard. It doesn’t take him more than a second before he’s locking eyes with you, heart rate increasing as he sees you standing across the room, lips curved up in a smirk as you press a bottle against your lips, downing it of its contents as you arched an eyebrow at Taehyung.
Taehyung’s lips part in astonishment, doing his best to keep your gaze. He doesn’t deny his shock seeing the intensity of your gaze as you watched him. He pushes the girl off of him, ignoring her protests he pushes his way through the crowd, doing his best to keep his eyes on you. Solely on you.
Why had you looked so calm? Why had you summoned him? Why now? And why here?
A body bumps into Taehyung, knocking him a few steps back and he lets out an annoyed hiss, glaring at the person who had just bumped into him.
“Sorry, didn’t mean to.” Taehyung’s eyebrows lift up in surprise when he sees the dark haired boy looking up at him, lips curled up in an apologetic smile directed at Taehyung.
“Guardian?” Taehyung smiles, head bobbing to the side in curiosity. The dark haired boy’s eyes widen at the term, unconsciously gripping his wrist in hopes of hiding the gold bracelet hidden beneath his jacket as he steps back.
“What?” He barely breaths out, voice cracking as a wave of alarm runs through his system, the scent of his fear washing over Taehyung and making his lips curl up in a  smirk, completely amused.
Taehyung snaps his head to the side, glancing to where you once stood, letting out a curse when he discovers the previous spot empty and you nowhere to be found
“Fuck!”
He strains his ears, doing his best to discern the sound your voice against the crowd, cursing heaven and hell for the fact that you had summoned him here of all places, making it impossible for him to distinguish your voice from all the screaming and blasting of music.
“What did you call—“Your bestfriend grabs Taehyung’s arm but the taller boy just pulls away from the older boy’s grip, warning him not to test his patience.
“Another time, guardian.” Taehyung quipsm pushing himself out of the crowd, leaving Yoongi staring at him in both shock and fear, watching as the taller boy navigated out of the crowd and towards the exit doors.
Taehyung lets out a breath, trying to push his senses even more as he hunts for your scent or at least the sound of your voice, anything to give him a suggestion of your location. He glances around the packed parking lot, biting back a groan as he sees another mass of bodies flocking around large cars, playing different songs as they drank and laughed together.
He’s real. Taehyung’s real.
Taehyung’s eyes widen, head lifting up as he tries to identify what direction your voice had come from. He steps forward, nails digging against the skin of his palm, almost drawing blood as he resists the urge to throw each person out of his way just so he could find you.
“Shit!” Taehyung groans; annoyed that he had lost vision of you, equally as frustrated that the scent of different human bodies and alcohol were overpowering your own. It was as if you had played the situation extremely well just so he couldn’t track you.
Just as Taehyung finishes cursing every deity he knew, a sudden chill vibrates against his body, warning him of expected trouble. Taehyung angles his head back, eyes locking on two brute figures pushing pass the mass of bodies blocking the club’s doors. His eyes study the dark marks against their arms, invisible to the human eye, but to his eyes? The dangerous swirls meant nothing but trouble and irritation. Taehyung nibbles on his lower lip, biting back a curse as he surveys the area once more.
“Of all the fucking places I run into these mother fuckers.” He hums out, casually stuffing his hands in his pockets and moving forward, doing his best to blend with the crowd. He skillfully grabs a snapback from one of the drunken boys seated against the pavement, oblivious that he had lost his hat as Taehyung adjusts it on his head, trying to seal his features. He angles his head back to thieve a quick look, cursing heaven and hell when one of them had caught his eyes. Taehyung grits his teeth, moving faster against the crowd as he finally feels them moving after him. He navigates pass bodies, trying to find a secluded location to hide and jump, wanting nothing more than to disappear.
“There’s too many people, royal blood, you can’t leap now.” Taehyung hears them mutter against their breath and he immediately lets out a scoff, annoyed that they had voiced out his own thoughts.
“No shit, big boy, you think I don’t know that?” Taehyung bites back a laugh when he hears them cursing him, throwing out random threats that Taehyung had grown used to hearing every time he face them.
Taehyung feels them approaching, shoving people out their way as they raced to reach him. If he didn’t move faster, they would have caught him, and Taehyung wasn’t in the mood to waste his energy on them tonight. He takes one glance around the area, eyes landing on the car beside him, pleased to see the door open and the insides empty. He steps forward, only to widen his eyes when he feels his skin starting to burn.
Kim Taehyung.
“Christ does this girl know her timing.” Taehyung hisses as he throws the door open wider, sliding into the leather seats and slamming the door shut behind him.
Kim Taehyung.
He watches as the brutes start running now, aware of Taehyung’s intent of disappearing before their eyes, except right now instead of jumping, he was actually being summoned. He gives them a quick wave, lips curling up in a smirk till the last mention of his name has him shutting his eyes as he’s pulled away.
A strong breeze flies pass him and Taehyung snaps his eyes open, immediately faced with the full view of the parking lot as he stood three floors above the club he was in earlier. Taehyung arches an eyebrow in interest, watching as the brutes kick the door of the car he was in earlier, screaming out in anger at the fact that they had lost him. Again.
Taehyung lets out a smirk, amused to watch them struggle as they surveyed the crowd, hoping to find him among the mass of bodies.
“They looked pissed.”
Your voice rings loud and clear against Taehyung’s ears and he snaps his head to the side, eyes locking on your figure as you kept your gaze on the parking lot, watching the brutes with amused judgment.
“Are they like you?” You finally turn your head to look at him causing Taehyung to suck in a breath, stepping away from you as your features wash over him once again. You had your hands stuffed inside the pockets of your hoodie, head angled towards him as you arch an eyebrow, looking calmer than he expected you to be.
Too calm in fact.
“What are you talking about?” Taehyung tries to feign innocence and your returning scoff doesn’t surprise him. You had seen enough proof to counter that Taehyung definitely wasn’t human.
“When are you planning to explain things?” You ask, doing your best to seem unfazed when your knees were already shaking in place.
“Do I have to? Wouldn’t it be better if you didn’t know?” Taehyung sighs, turning away from you as he eyes the parking lot, watching the ignorance of the human race as they interacted, oblivious to the darkness surrounding them.
“You’re not human, Taehyung. No human can do what you just did.” You stutter, finally feeling your nerves take over you. You were finally voicing out the thoughts that have been clawing in the back of your mind for the past 8 days.  “What are you?”
“Why’d it take you 8 days to ask?” Taehyung smiles, fingers toying with the sleeves of his sweater.
“Cause I didn’t want to be any part of it.” You answer honestly, lips pressing together as you wait for his reaction.
“What about now?” Taehyung turns to look at you, face void of any emotion “What made you change your mind?”
My dreams of you. The way you claw at my mind every damn day. The way I picture your red eyes staring at me. The fact that I just can’t get you out of my mind. Not until I get answers.
“About two shots of vodka and a beer.” You shrug to which Taehyung laughs, eyes crinkling shut as the gorgeous sound caresses your ears and prickles at your skin. He definitely wasn’t human. No human could ever sound and look as beautiful as he could.
“How about I tell you what I am when you’re sober?” He finally says after calming down, eyes turning to you in mischief as you frowned.
“I’d like answers right now.” You mutter under your breath, very sure that he had heard you.
“Not tonight, Y/n.” Taehyung enforces his dominance and steps away from you, hands stuffing in his pockets as he lets out a breath, thinking of where he should jump to next. Should he go home?
“You can’t be shitting me!  I’ve spent 8 nights with nightmares, Taehyung! I need to know.” You growl, stepping towards him, ignoring the quick look that passes his features at the mention of his name.
“A few more nights would not hurt you.” Taehyung barks back and you roll your eyes at him, shocking Taehyung at the amount of confidence you radiated. Were you not scared of him? Any sane human being would have been running for the hills right now, but no, here you were practically screaming at him when it wouldn’t take an ounce of his strength to snap your neck.
“Fuck a few more nights.” You hiss, climbing up the roof ledge and arching an eyebrow at him “Now, Taehyung.”
“Or what? You’ll jump? Don’t be juvenile, Y/n.” Taehyung scoffs, taking another step back, not buying your threat.
Your eyes waiver, fists clenching as you press them against your jeans, showing him just how empty your threat was. Of course you wouldn’t jump. Maybe you were stupid, idiotic to be exact, but Taehyung knew you weren’t crazy.
“Another time.” He smiles at you one last time, finally willing himself to jump. Just as his figure fades, you widen your eyes in panic, knowing exactly what he was doing. You step forward in hopes of reaching for him before he’d disappear, not wanting to be left alone just quite yet. Your eyes widen in terror when you feel your legs bumping against each other, your body losing its balance as you tip backward, a scream bubbling against your lips as you try reaching for something to prevent your descent, anything.
You squeeze your eyes shut, deciding to accept your fate as you feel your feet losing their steadiness. You had been stupid enough to use the ledge as a threat and now karma bit you in the ass, bringing you to your demise.
You wait for a few seconds, expecting to feel your back slamming against the asphalt, but strangely you feel nothing. Was death supposed to be this painless? Had your soul already left your body before your fall? Was it all that straightforward?
You slowly open your eyes, breath knocked out of you as you’re faced with red eyes, staring down at you in nothing but complete and utter irritation. Taehyung purses his lips, pushing down his anger as he balances you, one hand wrapped around your wrist, the other wrapped around your waist. You feel the heat spreading from his body, your chest flushed against his while every other part of you buzzed with electricity at the feel of his body touching yours. Your faces were merely inches apart as you use your free hand to grip his shoulders, body now shaking in fear at the realization of the situation you were in just a few seconds ago.
“You are completely the most careless thing I’ve ever dealt with.” Taehyung growls, the deep set of his voice equally scaring and calming you. He was here, he had saved you, and he hadn’t left you to die.
“Wh-What are you?” You study his face, thoughts racing with nothing but those three words as you’re drowned in the color red. You hadn’t noticed your hand releasing it grip on his shoulder, not until you found your fingers gently pressing against his cheeks, tracing the crease right below his eyes as you let out a relieved breath, comforted by the fact that he was real. That he was really standing before you and not a figment of your imagination.
“You really want to know?” Taehyung’s voice softens at your touch, your cold fingers a contrast to his warm skin. He studies the brightness of your eyes, equally amused as he was perplexed at how calmly you were handling all of this. You give him a quick nod, lips pressing together as your heart hammers against your chest in anticipation, waiting for an answer you have long sought for
“I’m a Demon, Y/n.”

It has been at least ten minutes that Jaebum could not stop to cry. Ten minutes of Y/N trying her best to find the right words. She does not know if she should keep hugging him or if she should get up and get him something else instead. It makes her feel helpless and worried at the same time. The past ten minutes have been absolute silent. No matter what crosses her mind, it still does not seem good enough to cheer him up. When he starts to move away from her, she removes her arms from him. Y/N wanted to be sure that he is doing better after letting it all out but Jaebum avoids the eye contact which makes it harder for her to figure out what is truly going on inside. It only felt like a minute until he finally looks into her eyes. Surprised by her reddened eyes, he wonders why she feels this way even though she was just a customer who helped out once to his aunt. She tries her best to fake a smile which does not work out that well as it looks different in comparison to her real smile.  Jaebum could not even look at her fake smile for a second before he looks away.
“Feels better to let it out, huh?”, she says to lift up the mood a little. “How are you feeling?” Jaebum's eyes look red and lightly swollen. At first, he did not recognize that she was watching him as he wipes his tears from his face. When he looks at her again, he sees the dried tears on her face. A little fresh tear is still in the corner of her left eye which she seems not to mind.
“Honestly, I do not know how I feel nor how I should feel...” His voice sounds as he really means what he had just said. This slow talking and the breaking between the words make it clear, he tries to hide his feelings again. “You cried too?”, Jaebum questions as she wipes the tears off her face.
“Yeah. It’s just… Whenever I see someone cry, I start to cry automatically.”, she answers as she uses her finger to remove any sign of the tears that she feels on her face.
“I did not mean to make you cry. Sorry.”
“It’s alright, do not worry about it. Friends help each other through hard times, I am here for you. You would be there for me too so…” Jaebum nods as he gets up to get the tissue box which lies next to his bed. He takes a tissue out of the box and holds the box towards her. “She meant a lot to you, didn’t she?”, Y/N questions as she takes a tissue. Jaebum nods as he sits down on the edge of his bed.
“Yes.” Jaebum sobs before he looks at her again. “I asked you once if your father is abusive to you. Do you remember?”
“Yeah, I remember.” Y/N does not spend a thought about what he had asked, she simply answered with whatever came to her mind first. She starts to realize what he said and what she had just answered and this makes her wonder why he said what he said.
“There is a reason why I did not wait and asked you directly if your father does what I accused him of. I had to ask you that question because the way your father reacted, reminded me on my aunt’s former husband.” Jaebum takes a moment to breath before he continues. “He was so abusive and… My aunt used to cover up her bloody lip with red lipstick just like your mother did. The way he touched your arm and the sadness in your eyes looked similar to what I saw in my aunt’s eyes before.”
“Oh.”, she says as she looks to the ground. “I guess, I understand why you asked me those questions... I am sorry she had to go through that. Nobody should go through that.”, Y/N says as she looks at her hands. Jaebum takes out his phone to write a text message. The message is directed at their group chat. This is also the reason why Y/N’s phone vibrates. In curiosity, she opens the message immediately. Y/N reads the message a second time before she starts to wonder why he wrote this message. “Are you sure that we should get ourselves whatever we want from her shop? You know we could help out this week.”
“Most of her recipes are a secret. She never wrote them down and they are the reason why the shop has been successful. Without those… Forget it.”, Jaebum mumbles as he touches the back of his neck.
“I am a good baker, maybe I-” His eyes suddenly look angry and he looks upset when he interrupts her.
“I said no!”, Jaebum screams. Y/N looks depressed as he declines her offer even though she understands his emotional outburst. It would be a lie if she would say that his reaction did not hurt her. Y/N might not say something back at him but her face shows that he stepped over the line. His tongue moves quickly over his lips as he feels them dry up. “I did not mean to scream at you, I am sorry.”, Jaebum apologizes as he looks to the ground in shame about his outburst.
“It’s fine.”, she assures him whilst he is getting mad at himself for screaming at her even more. Two knocks become hearable from the door frame of Jaebum's bedroom. It is his mother, leaning against his bedroom door with a purse in one hand and shoes in the other. His mother looks just as sad as Jaebum  does but she seems to hide it a little better than Jaebum could.
“I see that you are in good hands.”, his mother states as she looks at them. Y/N starts to believe that she might have not heard his screaming. Otherwise she would have said something, Y/N thinks. Another thing that she notices is that his mother does not look as she would have been crying as hard as Jaebum did, but Y/N is sure that she must be wearing makeup to cover it up. Y/N puts a small smile on her face to reassure his mother that everything is alright. His mother returns a smile and nods. “I have to go, there are some paper stuff to do because of her death and….” The smile of his mother slowly disappears as she feels her emotions come up. She looks up for a moment as she would try to suck the tears back in before she puts a neutral look on her face. “Jae, my boss did not give me a vacation day for tonight's shift. Do you want me to cook something or do you want me to get you something for breakfast?”
“Got it.”, Jaebum answers as he looks depressed to the ground. “I will stay at home.”, he declares as he looks up at her again. “I will find something in the freezer for sure.”  Jaebum tries the hardest to assure his mother that he will be alright but his mother waits for a few seconds if he would change his mind.
“Alright. I see you guys later if I make it home before my shift but I see you the latest tomorrow. Do not forget to lock the door before you go to bed.” His mother waves her goodbye before she walks away from his bedroom. Jaebum puts the tissue box on the ground which brings her attention back to him. Y/N tries her best to read his face but he seems to fake his emotion once again.
“I just want to take a nap. If you do not mind.”, he tells her quietly.
“Uh, yeah. Sure.” Y/N gets up and is just about to leave the room as she discovers a sleeping bag in the corner of his room. Jaebum turns his body towards the wall as Y/N leaves his room. Almost out of the door, she turns around. “Tell me if you need something.” He does not answer her which is making her sigh as she leaves his room. She walks towards the kitchen to drink some water as she feels her throat starting to hurt because of the dryness. As Y/N takes the glass of water, she starts to think about his mother. How many jobs does she have just to make enough for their living, Y/N wonders. For whatever reason she turns to the fridge and looks through it whilst her thoughts stay by his mother. There is not much in the fridge that she could cook with. It almost reminds her on the empty fridge she was so used to after her father had passed away. If his mother barely makes any money even though she seems to have more than one job, do they even eat enough, she wonders. Jaebum always eats the food from the cafeteria but what does he eat at home if there is barely anything there, she asks herself. Y/N takes one look along the hallway towards his bedroom as she feels torn of respecting his wish of being alone or being with him as a friend even though he does not want her to do so. Just to be sure she walks back to his bedroom to see if he fell asleep already. When she sees that he is truly taking a nap, she walks back to the fridge and takes some ingredients for cooking out of the fridge. Thankfully, she finds everything that she would need.
🍃🍃🍃
Once he fell asleep, Jaebum did not want to wake up from it. In his dream, he sees his aunt as she was taking care of Jaebum when he was a younger. Just a few years ago, but it still feels like yesterday when he had to wait outside of a courtroom with his aunt. He remembers his mother telling him that she will make sure that his father will not hurt him ever again. He also remembers the way she hugged his aunt and the way she had petted his head before she had to walk inside the court room. Multiple times, he heard his aunt say, that Jaebum’s mother will be out in a minute. What he did not expect is his father being taken away by handcuffs just a few minutes before his mother came back outside. His aunt did ignore his questions and said repeatedly that his mother will answer his questions. Jaebum accepted to wait for his mother to answer his questions later on that day. The smile on Jaebum’s mother’s face was huge when she walked towards them and the many times his aunt congratulated her for a win seems to be on replay in his dream. Almost as it would be in slow motion.
A smell in the air gets Jaebum’s attention as he starts to wake up. It smells delicious almost as he would dive right into another dream but this is just not another dream. Still sleepy, he gets up to follow the smell. He becomes more curious each second whilst he follows the smell towards the kitchen. When he passes the guest room, he sees no sign of Y/N. As he continues to walk towards the kitchen, he starts to wonder if Y/N had ordered in. Jaebum stops to walk for a second to watch her cook but the curiosity makes him walk closer to her. “Are you cooking? I smelled something that lead me this way.”, he explains as he leans over to pan to take a closer look. “Looks good.”
“I hope it is okay. I did not know if I was allowed to-”
“It is okay. You should not be starving as our guest.” Jaebum lifts a corner of his lips to show her it is perfectly fine if she wants to do so.
“I only cooked something I came up with in my mind. I made some vegetables with coconut-curry sauce and I made some spring rolls from your freezer. I hope you like it.” Jaebum nods and takes two plates to place them on the dinner table. “Do you want to eat now?”, she asks as she keeps on focusing on the food.
“That is why I am preparing the table. Do you need a hand?”
“Nope. Just bring the plates, I will put everything on the plates in the kitchen.” Jaebum does not discuss as he brings her the plates even though the plates where on the dinner table for less than a half minute.
“I did not know that you can cook.”
“Well, surprise.”, she jokes as she puts the food on the first plate. “Let's see if you like it afterwards too.” When she prepared the second plate, he brings the plates back to the dinner table. Y/N hurries around the kitchen counter to sit down on the empty chair on the opposite side of where he is sitting at. Jaebum takes a bite quickly. The fast chewing turns into slow ones until he does not chew anymore even though the food is still in his mouth. He raises an eyebrow and looks at her. “This bad?”, she questions as it looks like he seems not to like it. Jaebum swallows his food and licks his lip twice. She looks at her plate disappointed as she takes a bite herself to see if it tastes bad.
“No, it is damn good!”
“It does not look like you would truly like it.”, she answers whilst she tries to cool her mouth. Apparently, she did not wait long enough for the food to cool down a bit before she had put it in her mouth. “Argh!”
“Are you okay?”, Jaebum asks as he tries to hide a laugh.
“Just too hot.” Jaebum starts to laugh. He tried hard to hold back his laugh but he could not do it any longer especially when she starts to move like a fish who’s a dragon at the same time. His imaginary adds the smoke which comes from her mouth which makes him laugh even harder. “I will let you laugh about me being stupid.”, she says with a smile. When he makes the same face again after taking another bite, she narrows her eyebrows. “Why does it look like you do not like it even if you say you do?”, she asks as she finally swallowed her food.
“I am just surprised that it tastes that well. Did you order in?” Y/N starts to laugh at his question.
“Are you saying this because your face failed to hide the truth twice?”
“No, not at all.” Jaebum looks around if he might could find any packaging which would show that she had ordered in but there is no sign of any packaging. Whilst shaking his head, he continues to eat.
“Do you find any packaging around here? The ingredients are from your fridge by the way.”
“Uh...” His fork moves quickly to give him another taste of the food in front of him. “Make sure to leave the recipe here. I got to try it myself.”, he requests with his mouth full.
“You cook too? I did not know that you do too.”
“Well, I guess we both learnt something about the other one.” Y/N nods as she continues to eat. “Is something left for another portion?”
“Only a small amount. I did not make that much.”, she answers as her phone vibrates. She takes the phone out of her pocket and looks at the screen. “Uh.”
“Uh? Must be your parents from the sound of it.”
“No. It is Jungkook.”, she answers as she reads the message. “He asks me if he should come over with a few video games to distract you with. Do you want him to come over?” Jaebum starts to play with his fork within his food. It looks almost like a child who does not want to finish its meal.
“Is it bad that I do not want to see them right now?”, Jaebum asks as he battles with himself. It feels wrong to decline a friend who wants to be there for him but at the same time it would make it worse once he would be by himself afterwards again, Jaebum thinks. “I rather be on my own.”, he lies.
“No, it is not bad at all. I will just write him that you want to take a nap.” She starts to type that he does not know what he wants to do but that he asked her to decline Jungkook’s offer. Jungkook knew that Jaebum would have denied his phone call but that he would say no through Y/N surprised him. After finishing his meal, Jaebum keeps sitting at the table as he would want to say something.
“Okay.”, Jaebum pronounces whilst he gets up. The okay sounded more like someone who made his mind up and confident rather than sad. She texts Jungkook if they want to come, they should come anyway. Her fingers are typing very quick whilst she hopes that Jaebum does not notice that she is writing a long message. When she puts a full fork is in her mouth, she sees that Jaebum is walking towards the wash basin. Maybe she should have not ignored his no and just tell Jungkook to not come over nor to send the others to Jaebum’s place instead, she thinks.
“Not hungry anymore? A little should be left.”
“No. You can have it if you like.”, Jaebum answers as he places the dirty dish in the wash basin.
“Leave them there. I will clean up once I am done here.”
“You are our guest this week. I will do it.” He takes the cleaning materials and starts to clean up. “That can distract me a little at least.” Y/N finishes her meal just as Jaebum finished the other dirty dishes. “Do you want to go out with the others?” Her eyes look surprised at him as she watches him cleaning up. Jaebum might not be looking at her but he sees her in the corner of his eyes. “I mean, do you not want to take the chance to hang out with Jinyoung or the others? Just to watch a movie or something.” If she would be honest, it would hurt him that is for sure. Since she knew that she will stay at his place, she thought about going on dates with Jinyoung but now, everything looks different. Jaebum looks as he is in so much pain that it would not feel right to leave him alone by himself.
“No. Besides, what if a neighbor of mine would see me and ask my mother about it…”, she lies as she hands him her plate.
“You are a horrible liar.” Jaebum cleans her plate quickly and turns off the water. He takes the kitchen towel to dry his hand when he leans against the kitchen counter. “It is fine. If you want to, just do it. Do not hold yourself back because you feel sorry for me. I am alright.”
“Thanks. But I will stay in.” Just in that moment the doorbell rings. “Do you expect someone? Do you want me to check?”
“Are you joking?”, he asks when he throws the kitchen towel on the kitchen counter. “I will go.” Jaebum pronounces as he walks towards the door. He opens the door quickly but now he wishes that he did not open the door at all.
“We thought you might want a few of us here...”, Yoongi says. “Can we come in?” Jaebum nods with his head down as he lets them in. “Jungkook said you want to take a nap which is the reason why some said they would rather let you sleep.”
“So, you want me to stay awake?”, Jaebum adds sarcastically. “Very kind.”
“We got some snacks, games... Whatever you need for a distraction.” Mark shows him the bag with all the stuff in it. No word is leaving Jaebum’s lips as he opens the door more. “Maybe Jinyoung was right.”, Marks whispers quietly to Jin.
“No. He just acts cold again, you know him.” Jin puts his shoes off and walks towards the kitchen. “Damn! I missed your cooking again?”, he questions as he sees Y/N packing the small amount of food which is left into a Tupperware that she had found.
“Well, you are always a moment too late.”
“Can you ever save some for me?”
“Uhm, no. I do not think so but maybe one day.”
“You have some leftovers in front of you.”
“So?”
“So? Do you not want to offer it to me?”
“I did not cook it for you, I cooked for Jaebum. Maybe another day.”
“At least one day...”, Jin jokes as he sees her smile. His laugh stops when he turns back to Jaebum. “Jaebum, do you want to play a video game or a card game?”
“What are you asking him for? A video game of course.”, Mark says as he takes the bag from Jin’s hand. “Let’s see who is the best in the new game that Yugyeom got from his parents. Jungkook meant it is one of the best games Yugyeom owns.”
🍃🍃🍃
“At least we finally found something that you are bad in!”, Mark comments happily as he beats Y/N in the same game again. “Do not be mad! This game is so much fun.”
“Enjoy your win.”, Y/N says angrily. “I will beat you sooner or later. That counts for everyone in this room!”
“Come on. It is alright to suck in something. We all suck in something.”
“I do not suck in anything! This word has never been in my vocabulary.”
“You are only good in things which you need to study...”
“Not true at all!”
“Let’s see. You had luck with bowling but I guess next time it will be horribly bad again. Typical beginner I would say. Then we have video games, sport, art-”
“Alright. I got it!” Y/N pushes the controller onto Jin. “Take it before I break it.”
“Somebody is a bad loser.”, Yoongi notes as he looks at his other friends. “Somebody else who would like to eat pizza?”
“I am in!”, Mark screams happily. “What about you, grumpy loser?”
“Only if Jaebum wants some too.” She walks back to her friends with a glass in her hands. As Jaebum does not answer her, she sits down on the armrest of the couch next to him. “Do you want to eat pizza too?”
“I am not hungry. I will take a nap.”, Jaebum tells the others whilst he gets up. No one stops him as he walks away.
“I told you, everyone should come but no. Let’s not pressure them to come with us...”, Yoongi converses annoyed. Jin immediately feels that the heat is directed at him. Feeling insulted, he turns to Yoongi.
“What are you mad at me for?”, Jin asks in confusion. “Besides, why do you come up with pizza when we have so much food lying around?”
“Makes me wonder why she was asking him.”
“Is it my fault now?”, Y/N questions.
“Never direct a question on the sad person... I thought you read a lot.” Her eyebrows narrow the longer she looks at him. “Maybe you only read the wrong things.”
“Let’s not fight.”, Mark suggests. “Maybe we should leave him alone. We distracted him a little at least.”
“Yeah, but the school holidays have just started and it looks like they will still talk about the bakery next week...”
“If they have to sell it, it will hurt him badly.”
“I understand it because of his aunt but do you think it will hurt him that badly?”, Y/N wonders.
“Before his parents got divorced, they used to fight a lot. Whenever they fought, he ran into her shop. It is kind of his safety place.”, Yoongi explains. “He did not open up to us easily that is why we knew about the divorce almost a year after it happened.” Mark looks nervously towards the door in which he disappeared in.
“Maybe it is better you hear it from him.”, Jin suggests.
“I do not believe he wants to tell me about it.”
“Well, then we should say nothing else either.”
“Is it about this abusive man?” Their eyes widen when Y/N mentions the word ‘abusive’. “Why are you all looking at me like I am a ghost or something?”
“I am surprised he told you about his dad.”, Mark whispers. “Jaebum usually does not talk about his dad.”
“I was speaking about his aunt’s ex-husband.”, she explains. “Wait, what do you mean with his dad?”, she whispers back.
“Idiot. You are simply an idiot to tell her.”, Yoongi scolds in a quiet tone.
“How was I supposed to know that she is talking about him and not him?”
“I cannot believe you are in the same class as me...”
“Just shut up!”, Mark yells back in a quiet tone. “Why are you moving closer to me?”, he questions as he sees that she is moving closer and closer until she sits close enough next to him.
“Because I need to know what you meant when you mentioned his dad.” Mark looks around in doubt if he should dare to tell her or if he should not say a word. Yoongi and Jin shake their head but Mark remembers Jaebum’s words, secrets should not exist within a friendship.
“Fine. If he asks, you do not have this information from me, clear?”
“Okay. Just tell me!”
“When Jaebum was around eleven years old, he noticed that his father is mentally abusing his mother. His mother stood her ground and wanted to throw him out every time but she did not do it because of Jaebum.”
“Just because of Jaebum? Why would she do that?”
“She wanted that he grows up with a mother and a father but this is not what his father wanted. Jaebum asked his father once why he is the way he is to his mother like that. He told us that his father told him that he will leave her alone but therefore, he must bear the abuse. He does not know the reason to this day. Jaebum’s father did not do any mental abuse to him, but he started to abuse him physically. Jaebum was beaten up by him almost daily instead.”
“That is why he never mentioned him...” Slowly she starts to understand from where this carrying behavior from Jaebum is coming from.  “Did he not tell anyone?”
“Only his aunt.”
“That is also why he was so close with his aunt.”
“Both of them were too scared to tell anyone. His aunt asked him about it when she saw that his back started to bleed through his white shirt. That is when she told him about the abuse in her relationship, but she made it clear to him that if he tells his mom about it, she would go to a lawyer the very next day to have her husband out of her house.”
“Did anyone else know?”
“Except of his aunt? No. We only discovered it when we had a sports day in school.”
“He said nothing?” All three of them shake their head without answering. “Did you not notice any changes in his behavior?”
“We thought that he might be tired as it was around the time, he started to help his aunt with the bakery.”, Yoongi explains. “I still remember how his back looked like.”
“How bad was it?”
“His back was just black and blue. He even had bloody wounds from his father belt, at least we thought it was from a belt.”
“Are you trying to say he got beaten up with items?”
“He beat him up with whatever his father got into his hands. That huge wound was from a chair.”, Jin answers as his voice starts to shake. “He never said a word for weeks but he still continued to play football.”, Jin adds as he shakes his head. “He was so afraid to tell anyone especially because of his mom.”
“Are you done talking about me?”, Jaebum questions as he suddenly stands in the room. Their faces turn immediately to him. “I want you all out. Now!”

I’m Fucked part 2 [BTS Fanfic]
As promised here’s the second post. I know it’s not particularly an imagine but it’s chapter two! Enjoy :)
Genre: Angst, smut, romance
Master list
~
Tumblr media
Everyone was slowly starting to wake up and I, well I was still very naked. Here’s the thing, if I had woke up earlier than maybe I would have gotten my stuff and left. But since Captain Obvious besides me had my underwear in his hands, I couldn’t really do anything about it. So instead, I just puffed my cheeks reached over to snatch them from him and stood up.
Easily putting my underwear on with one hand, I decided to ignore Captain Obvious and move away. I took a deep breath and decided to try and search for my other clothes. I remembered that I wore a black dress with some heels given to me by Syren.
“Hold on, let me help you.” a voice came from behind me, as I noticed that it came from Captain Obvious. I cranked my head to the side, looking over my shoulder. He was wearing a nice black button up, his jeans the same color while his hair was an auburn colored. He walked closer to me, bending forwards to grab something.
Because of how close we were, I could feel his shirt brush against my bare back. It caused me to shiver slightly because I wasn’t used to being this close to someone. Some memories were starting to float in shortly after he brushed up against me. They were still fuzzy, but I wasn’t going to dwell on them because I needed to get out soon.
“Yoongi..my head hurts.” a voice came from the other side of the bed. All I could see blond from where I was standing.
“Maybe you shouldn’t have drank so much Jimin.” Yoongi...Captain Obvious? So Yoongi was his name...interesting. Then blonde was Jimin, but I wasn’t going to move or do anything because of how bare I was. What made me jump was when Yoongi set a blanket it over my shoulders.
He whispers to me “Wrap it around you. It’ll help while searching for your clothes.” he says his breath hitting the back of my neck, my heart pounding hard in my chest. Another reason why I don’t speak or do anything with men is because I easily start to get nervous. I didn’t need that today, especially because I was bare.
“Do you have any meds on you?” Jimin asks still in a whiny voice. He seemed like he was the type to whine for something, but then again after a long night of drinking I wouldn’t be surprised if he had a bad hangover. Slowly but surely Jimin moved himself up from the floor and blinked a couple of times.
He glances forwards at Yoongi who was still close behind me, and then me trying to quickly wrap the blanket around my body. Holding the sheet close to my shivering body. I quickly needed to move but it felt like my legs weren’t going to do anything. My mind was screaming at me to run and find my clothes, but my body was acting as like they needed to wake up.
“I’m going back to bed.” Jimin says in a defeated tone his body moving back down as I could feel Yoongi rolling his eyes behind me. He apologizes quietly, then moves himself around my statue self to attend to Jimin. Me? Well I turned around only to find more people starting to shift where they were.
I moved myself around holding the sheet close to myself. I eventually found my shoes as well as my dress in the corner of the room. It was difficult for me because other men were fast asleep or waking up. They started talking to Yoongi in a hushed voice, looking at me and then still lying down. Eventually, I moved myself into the bathroom.
I needed to get out of here quickly, even if that meant fixing myself up slightly and excusing myself out of there. But how I was going to get out of there, I did not know at all. Slowly but surely, I took the blanket off my body and examined my body once more.
Love bruises, bite marks and some bruises around my body. I was sore as ever but the most important thing is I, found my clothes and I could leave. I slowly pulled the black dress on again, groaning to myself because my body was working in ways I didn’t want it to.
“Maybe just maybe we could clear things up?” I heard a voice come from the other side of the door. I blinked a couple of times not wanting to listen in, but I couldn’t help it.
“I don’t know..we should talk to that girl yeah?” Yoongi says his voice I already started to pick out easily. They were going to talk to me? Well that was going to be fun because I..did not want to talk at all. I just wanted to go home and sleep..
“Maybe, but we can’t let our producer know this happened. One word out and it would be difficult.” Well...that’s when I knew maybe I should’ve stayed in last night. I finished putting my dress on, took a deep breath and opened the door. Yoongi and Jimin were sitting on the bed with a couple of men in front of them. Was I ready to face them?
Hell no.
