It’s so cute seeing other fandoms complain about their really good anime adaptations meanwhile s1 and 2 of Kuro are just… bad. Just an absolute dumpster fire. Like I’m seeing people complaining because some of the Hellsing characters were drawn slightly differently in Ultimate, I’m seeing BSD fans talk about how they ever so slightly tweaked this one panel from the manga.

Babygirl, they added a whole two and a half seasons of non-canon wacko nonsense. They added a naked dog-man. They spoiled a major plot twist of the manga. They took a hacksaw to like three whole characters personalities. They added the Alice in Wonderland OVA.

it took over 4 years to get season 4 of Bungou stray dogs, but it's going to take 4 months to get season 5 of Bungou Stray dogs. I have no idea what's going on with the production of bsd but that seems so fast. You would think they would wait till next year or something so people have something to look forward too.

Okay so. Follow me:

Episode 8 of the anime stopped at the first half of chapter 102.

From the promo they just released, we can tell that episode 9 is going to cover (at least) until the first half of chapter 105. This may seem like a lot, but it's actually around 100 manga pages, and so far this season episodes 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 were all above 100 pages.

((Episode 3, the most rushed so far, was around 125 pages))

It would take around another 100 pages to get to chapter 108 in episode 10 (the end of 108 is also a great cliffanger point for the second-to-last episode, just saying).

But even if episode 10 stops at the first half of chapter 108 instead of covering it all, there should still be enough time left to cover up to chapter 110.5 in the season finale, which will air on september 20th.

That is 2 weeks less that we have to wait to know what happens next!

I cannot be sure of this of course, and i have been wrong about predictions before, but honestly i don't think it would make sense to make s5 so close after s4 if they didn't intend to finish this story arc.

So i choose to believe!
