everyone who was here for the girldad brutus conversation last night and watched the tv show new girl: there's this one storyline on new girl where one of the characters has sisters so he keeps telling his roommates not to get involved with a fight that's going on between their female friends because it won't end well. when asked how he knows this the character is like "i know girls man, i have sisters." this is literally girldad brutus to me.

any time a teenage girl in panem does something out of pocket that confuses the other victors, brutus is sitting there nodding sagely in his infinite girldad wisdom and saying "that's normal teen girl behavior. i have daughters."

the other victors are trying to clock whether everlark's love story is real and brutus is like "oh it started out as a strategy but the girl has it down bad for him. i can tell, she's being obvious about it. i know what girls are like with the boys they're into. i have daughters."

teenage girls expect everyone to read our minds and then get mad when they don't. brutus is a master at teengirl mindreading. he's a girldad. he has daughters.
