Awwwww you cooked lunch for your family that’s so sweet!! I’m tryna teach myself how to cook, and they’re sooooo many dishes I wanna try that I’m so excited for :D I kinda lack motivation and energy from other things unfortunately but I’m working on it, I will say tho, thinking of it as working on my wife material abilities helps a LOT.
I feel like this ask is kinda strange so far so I apologize, but I was wondering what your favourite dish to make or eat would be? It’s not cooking but for me, i LOVE making macarons (not much of a cook but I do bake:D)
i am the family chef™ 😌 i love cooking!!! i actually only got into it around three ish years ago, so i get what you mean hjtkmger the sheer magnitude of possibilities is overwhelming at first. NGL i think baking is harder so i have nothing but the utmost respect for you and anyone who bakes 😭 i can do it... it's just so much work. i get flour everywhere. i even got eggs on my socks once (i don't even know how). there's so much shame to be felt when wiping egg off your sock. i can't put the humiliation into words. i bake cakes as a gift on birthdays exclusively and that's it. my short-lived baking phase has formally Concluded.
macaroons are especially difficult good god. i thought about making them once . watched a youtube video showing how it's done. i then immediately stopped thinking about making them.
omg my favorite dish... i have a couple i'll share!! my ultimate, uncontested favorite is this mac and cheese though. it's divine. utter perfection. ambrosia from the gods. the recipe comes from everyplate, but they don't give measurements, so i'll go ahead and fill those in. you'll need a pan (or two) that can withstand being broiled in the oven for around a minute. this is gonna get lengthy so i'll put it beneath the cut htjgkrm
the measurements for the ingredients are as follows (this is enough to feed around four people):
one bunch of scallions
one long green pepper (i've used cubanelle pepper too)
two cloves of garlic
one cup of milk
one cup of shredded pepper jack cheese
one cup of shredded cheddar cheese
as for the panko and frank's seasoning blend mixture, i normally eyeball it so i don't actually know the measurements for it ... i guess it depends on how spicy you want it?
this breakfast square recipe is another one of my favorites, it reheats surprisingly well too!! i always make it before vacation and everyone just warms it up for breakfast for the days that follow. it's so yummy. i add a dash of italian seasoning to the hashbrown layer to give it more flavor. godspeed 🙏
finally, another big favorite of mine is beef fajitas. this consists of:
london broil (this cut of meat almost always seems to be on sale so that's nice)
beef consommé
two garlic cloves
two bell peppers
one yellow onion
two or three avocados
one lime
spanish rice
tortillas
salt/pepper/southwest seasoning/paprika
for the london broil: set oven to 250 fahrenheit. put the london broil in a deep dish baker, lightly salt and pepper, then add beef consommé until it almost (but not quite) submerges the meat. toss in garlic cloves (i use a garlic press so it distributes evenly across the meat). bake for around two and a half to three hours until tender.
sautéed veggies: slice or dice bell peppers/yellow onion depending on your preference. heat a pan with olive oil on medium heat. add veggies. add salt/pepper/southwest seasoning to veggies. cook until onions are translucent + bell peppers are slightly browned.
i just used boxed spanish rice and they have instructions on the back!! it's pretty simple but takes around 30-40 minutes to cook.
guacamole: cut into avocado, remove the core. i use a spoon to scoop out the insides and toss them into a bowl. sprinkle with lime juice. add salt, pepper, paprika. i like adding a dash of balsamic vinegar. mash and stir it up to desired consistency.
when everything is prepared, slap it onto your tortilla and behold the tastiest combination one could ever stumble across. it's so good. i almost want to cry just thinking about it.
#i'll calm down with my recipe suggestions i had to physically restrain myself to stop at three hjkgemr#i love yummy food...#recommendations#answered#Anonymous

Meanders of the Irrawaddy River
An astronaut aboard the International Space Station took this photograph of the Irrawaddy River while orbiting over Southeast Asia. The Irrawaddy is the largest waterway in Burma (Myanmar), originating in the northern part of the country and flowing approximately 2,170 kilometers (1,350 miles) south before emptying into the Andaman Sea. Sediment in the water gives the river an opaque, light brown appearance, except for a light green portion of water near Yelegale.
This portion of the Irrawaddy River lies in the Ayeyarwady region approximately 65 kilometers (40 miles) west-southwest of Yangon, the country’s former capital city. The region is part of the northern Irrawaddy River delta, where the river begins to split from its central trunk. Several splits in the river’s path are visible, with two large distributaries forming near Chaunggyi and Aunghlaing.
Older channels visible across the photo indicate changes in the Irrawaddy River’s course. The most obvious examples wind across the top-right of the image. Dark green vegetation lines the banks of these prior river channels.
Evidence of agricultural production appears throughout this part of the river’s floodplain. The region—nicknamed the country’s “rice bowl”—is shown here in December, which correlates with the crop’s typical harvest season. In addition to field crops, the region is also a center for raising livestock, such as chickens, cows, and pigs.
Fish farming is also an important activity. The pools of a fish farm (top-left) appear bright as they reflect sunlight back toward the astronaut’s camera. Aquaculture allows farmers to utilize land in low-lying regions that are otherwise too flood-prone to cultivate crops during the monsoon season.
Astronaut photograph ISS070-E-42458 was acquired on December 16, 2023, with a Nikon D5 digital camera using a focal length of 400 millimeters. It is provided by the ISS Crew Earth Observations Facility and the Earth Science and Remote Sensing Unit, Johnson Space Center. The image was taken by a member of the Expedition 70 crew. The image has been cropped and enhanced to improve contrast, and lens artifacts have been removed. The International Space Station Program supports the laboratory as part of the ISS National Lab to help astronauts take pictures of Earth that will be of the greatest value to scientists and the public, and to make those images freely available on the Internet. Additional images taken by astronauts and cosmonauts can be viewed at the NASA/JSC Gateway to Astronaut Photography of Earth. Caption by Cadan Cummings, Amentum, JETS II Contract at NASA-JSC.

Exploring the Delicious World of Sliced Jumbo Tenders in Fast Food
Exploring the Delicious World of Sliced Jumbo Tenders in Fast Food
Fast food has always been about convenience, speed, and delicious flavors that satisfy our cravings. Among the myriad of options available, Sliced Jumbo Tenders have carved out a special place in the hearts (and stomachs) of fast food lovers. These juicy, succulent pieces of chicken, sliced to perfection, offer a delightful eating experience that combines the best of texture and flavor. In this article, we will explore the rise of Sliced Jumbo Tenders in the fast food industry, popular variations, and why they have become a favorite among fast food enthusiasts.
The Appeal of Sliced Jumbo Tenders
Sliced Jumbo Tenders are exactly what their name suggests: large, tender pieces of chicken that are sliced to enhance their versatility and ease of eating. Here’s why they have gained such popularity:
Flavor and Texture: The larger size of the tenders ensures they remain juicy and tender on the inside while achieving a deliciously crispy exterior when fried or grilled.
Versatility: Sliced Jumbo Tenders can be used in a variety of dishes, from sandwiches and wraps to salads and bowls, making them a versatile ingredient for many fast food creations.
Convenience: The slicing makes them easy to eat, whether on their own or as part of a more complex dish, adding to their appeal as a quick and satisfying meal option.
Popular Sliced Jumbo Tender Dishes
Sliced Jumbo Tenders have inspired a range of delicious fast food creations. Here are some popular dishes that showcase these juicy chicken pieces:
Sliced Jumbo Tender Sandwich
One of the most beloved ways to enjoy Sliced Jumbo Tenders is in a sandwich. Here are a few variations:
Classic Chicken Sandwich: Sliced Jumbo Tenders are placed on a soft bun with lettuce, tomato, pickles, and a generous dollop of mayo or special sauce.
Buffalo Chicken Sandwich: For those who like a bit of heat, Sliced Jumbo Tenders are tossed in buffalo sauce and served with blue cheese dressing and crisp lettuce on a toasted bun.
BBQ Chicken Sandwich: Sliced Jumbo Tenders coated in smoky barbecue sauce, topped with coleslaw, and served on a brioche bun make for a sweet and savory delight.
Sliced Jumbo Tender Wraps
Wraps are another popular way to enjoy Sliced Jumbo Tenders, offering a convenient and portable meal option. Some favorites include:
Caesar Chicken Wrap: Sliced Jumbo Tenders, romaine lettuce, parmesan cheese, and Caesar dressing wrapped in a soft tortilla.
Spicy Chicken Wrap: Sliced Jumbo Tenders with spicy sauce, shredded lettuce, cheese, and a cooling ranch dressing.
Mediterranean Chicken Wrap: Sliced Jumbo Tenders with hummus, feta cheese, cucumbers, tomatoes, and olives wrapped in a whole wheat tortilla.
Sliced Jumbo Tender Salads
For a lighter option, Sliced Jumbo Tenders can be the star of a hearty and nutritious salad:
Chicken Cobb Salad: Sliced Jumbo Tenders atop a bed of mixed greens with bacon, avocado, hard-boiled eggs, tomatoes, blue cheese, and ranch dressing.
Southwest Chicken Salad: Sliced Jumbo Tenders with black beans, corn, avocado, shredded cheese, and a tangy cilantro-lime dressing.
Asian Chicken Salad: Sliced Jumbo Tenders with mixed greens, mandarin oranges, crispy wonton strips, and sesame ginger dressing.
Sliced Jumbo Tender Bowls
Bowls are a trendy and customizable way to enjoy Sliced Jumbo Tenders, combining various ingredients for a balanced meal:
Teriyaki Chicken Bowl: Sliced Jumbo Tenders with steamed rice, broccoli, carrots, and teriyaki sauce.
Chipotle Chicken Bowl: Sliced Jumbo Tenders with brown rice, black beans, corn, pico de gallo, avocado, and chipotle dressing.
Greek Chicken Bowl: Sliced Jumbo Tenders with quinoa, cucumber, tomatoes, olives, red onion, feta cheese, and tzatziki sauce.
Nutritional Considerations
While Sliced Jumbo Tenders are undoubtedly delicious, it’s important to consider their nutritional content, especially when enjoyed frequently. Here are some factors to keep in mind:
Calories and Fat: Fried Sliced Jumbo Tenders can be high in calories and fat. Opting for grilled versions can reduce these values significantly.
Protein: Chicken is a good source of protein, which is essential for muscle repair and overall health. Sliced Jumbo Tenders can be a great protein-rich option.
Sodium: Fast food items can often be high in sodium. Checking nutritional information and choosing lower-sodium options when available can help manage intake.
Making Healthier Choices
For those looking to enjoy Sliced Jumbo Tenders in a healthier way, here are a few tips:
Grilled Instead of Fried: Opt for grilled Sliced Jumbo Tenders instead of fried to cut down on calories and fat.
Whole Grain Options: Choose whole grain buns, wraps, or bowls to add fiber and nutrients to your meal.
Load Up on Veggies: Incorporate plenty of vegetables in your sandwiches, wraps, salads, and bowls to boost the nutritional value.
Mind the Sauces: Be mindful of the amount and type of sauces used, as they can add extra calories and sodium. Opt for lighter dressings or use them sparingly.
The Future of Sliced Jumbo Tenders in Fast Food
As the fast food industry continues to evolve, Sliced Jumbo Tenders are likely to remain a popular choice due to their versatility and appeal. Here are some trends and innovations to watch for:
Plant-Based Alternatives: With the rise of plant-based diets, fast food chains may introduce plant-based Sliced Jumbo Tenders, made from soy, pea protein, or other plant-based ingredients.
Global Flavors: Expect to see more global-inspired variations, such as Korean BBQ, Thai curry, or Mexican spiced Sliced Jumbo Tenders.
Health-Conscious Options: Fast food chains are increasingly offering healthier menu options, including organic, gluten-free, and lower-calorie versions of popular items like Sliced Jumbo Tenders.
Conclusion
Sliced Jumbo Tenders have become a standout item in the fast food industry, offering a delicious, versatile, and satisfying meal option. Whether enjoyed in a sandwich, wrap, salad, or bowl, these juicy chicken tenders are sure to please. While it's important to be mindful of their nutritional content, there are plenty of ways to enjoy them in a balanced and healthy way. As the fast food industry continues to innovate, we can look forward to even more exciting and flavorful Sliced Jumbo Tender creations in the future. So next time you’re craving a quick and tasty meal, consider giving Sliced Jumbo Tenders a try – you won't be disappointed!

Moe's Mayhem
Today, I went to Moe's Southwest Grill, a Mexican restaurant in Columbia, SC. I ordered a burrito bowl that consisted of brown rice, adobo chicken, Pico de Gallo, lettuce, cilantro, and some southwest vinaigrette on the side. The thing I love about this place is the complementary chips they give you at the end of every order, it hits the spot! They also have a wide variety of different complementary sauces and dips to choose from. This Moe guy really likes to give out free stuff huh. Anyways, I ate my bowl and I have to say it was delicious. The grilled chicken provided a savory protein element, complemented well by the brown rice. The freshness of the lettuce and Pico de Gallo adds a crisp contrast, while the cilantro provided a fragrant and herbaceous note. The chips were lacking salt but recovered with the classic crunch you get from tortilla chips. Overall, it was a tasty meal and a great option for those seeking a flavorful, protein-packed meal.

Southwest-Spiced Chicken & Cumin Rice
Serving: 4
Ingredients
2 zucchini
2 cloves garlic
1/2 oz cilantro
1 cup jasmine rice
2 tsp cumin
1 oz pepitas
20 oz chicken cutlets
2 tbsp southwest spice blend
4 tbsp smoky red pepper crema
3 tbsp sour cream
8 tbsp cooking oil
2 tbsp butter
salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Adjust racks to middle and top positions and preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Wash and dry produce. Peel and mince or grate garlic. Trim and halve zucchini lengthwise; cut crosswise into ½-inch-thick half-moons. Roughly chop cilantro.
Heat a drizzle of oil in a small pot over medium-high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring, until fragrant, 30-60 seconds. Stir in rice, cumin, and ¾ cup water (1¼ cups for 4 servings); bring to a boil. Once boiling, cover and reduce to a low simmer. Cook until rice is tender, 15-18 minutes. Keep covered off heat until ready to serve.
While rice cooks, toss zucchini on a baking sheet with a drizzle of oil, salt, and pepper. Roast on middle rack, tossing halfway through, 14-16 minutes.
Meanwhile, heat a large dry pan over medium-high heat. Add pepitas and toast, stirring occasionally, until fragrant and browned, 2-3 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
Pat chicken dry with paper towels and season all over with Southwest Spice Blend, salt, and pepper. Sprinkle with cilantro.
Heat a large drizzle of oil in pan used for pepitas over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until browned, 1-3 minutes per side. Turn off heat. Transfer chicken to a second baking sheet. Roast on top rack until cooked through, 6-8 minutes.
While chicken and zucchini roast, in a small bowl, combine red pepper crema and sour cream.
Fluff rice with a fork; stir in toasted pepitas and 2 tbsp butter. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Slice chicken crosswise.
Divide rice, chicken, and roasted zucchini between plates. Drizzle chicken with smoky crema and serve.
Notes
Chicken is fully cooked when internal temperature reaches 165°.
For easy cleanup, line baking sheet with aluminum foil first.

“I’m Mayor Cresswell and I’d like to welcome you to the 31st annual Spring Fling! Today we have twenty-two very charitable suitors who have willingly offered up their day for a wonderful cause. The Displaced Children’s Fund, to support supernatural children displaced by the cruelties of our world is a cause close to so many of us. All proceeds from today’s event will go to the fund. Now settle in and will begin the bidding momentarily….”
Below the cut you will find the 22 baskets that were submitted for the event. Bidding will take place until WEDNESDAY, at which point the bidding will close and then I will pair up the bids with basket. We will do our best to ensure everyone gets matched up with someone. If you would like a certain pairing based on plot reasons let me know and we can make it happen. If you have multiple characters I will do my best to ensure at least one of your characters gets paired for a basket.
How to bid: Comment on this post with your characters name and their three bids. If you bid you must place three bids to ensure we can make proper pairings. ex: Sophia Greyson bids on basket 1, 4, and 15. If you do not follow the bidding rules ie: you bid once or you send an ask, your bid will not be considered.
When will the picnics take place: Picnic dates, can take place any time after bidding concludes on Saturday, this includes during the event or poste event. These threads can carry on after the event ends but we encourage you to reach out to your pairing and plot.

Big Island of Hawaii Jan 2022
Since I had already been to the island of Oahu (Honolulu), we chose the Big Island for Ann’s first trip to Hawaii.
The volcanoes make the island a geographical oddity. Eleven of the twelve global climates are represented there - weather is always a’ changing but the resort coast is almost always perfect.
Southwest Airlines recently added Hawaii to list of destinations. The price of ticket from the US central time zone to the Honolulu zone (HST: -4 hours) was less than half the price I paid about eight years ago on American.
Prices in and around the Kona/Kohala side of the island are very high for most everything except, surprisingly, alcohol. Groceries: bacon $14/lb; bread $5; eggs $5; cheese $8 and up/lb. Gas: $4.75 (when it was $3 in Houston).
After traveling all day and checking in to the Hilton Grand Vacation Bay Club, we were tired and hungry. There are no fast food places or delivery services. We freshened up, jumped on the shuttle and headed for Kings Shops mall for a bite and a few drinks. Restaurants near the resorts are pricey, as expected. We loved the vibe and bar service at A-Bay’s, so we returned three more times during our week in paradise. It’s a favorite of local restaurant workers so we met several who shared their stories about living in Hawaii. Love ‘em, hate ‘em!
The Legends of Hawaii luau experience at the Hilton was very nice. Sunset, stage show, and great table service was on the menu. Open bar (beer, wine, Mai-Tai, Blue Hawaiian), chips/poke appetizer, salad, a buffet dinner and dessert filled is up royally.
Day 2 ended with a gorgeous sunset catamaran trip out of A-Bay that lasted about ninety minutes. The fun crew of three kept pouring drinks and served us a bowl of teriyaki chicken and rice.
We booked a circle bus tour of the island for Day 3. A miked up driver took twelve of us to several stops in a Sprinter van. Christopher was extremely knowledgeable about island history and geology. He has lived and worked here his whole life. His pronunciation of the Hawaiian words and places was totally believable, but you can’t prove it by me. He waited on us hand and foot when we stopped for breakfast at Greenline Coffee Farm, the southernmost bakery in the US for donuts and at the Volcano Winery for lunch. There were three stops in Volcanoes National Park before heading toward Hilo. We took a route through the rain forest waterfalls, mountain vistas and into the sunset near the town of Waimea as we headed home.
The next day was spent at the pool and grilling a steak on the gas pit nearby. We had met a jeweler at the luau that provided delivery service of a Peridot (state gem of Hawaii/August birthstone) ring for Ann. Kai is back in the family jewelry business with his mother and his wife - great guy.
Over the course of our ramblings around the resort area, we saw a shaggy looking guy in a green bandanna five times, once at the bar. He wasn’t carrying a bunch of belongings and wasn’t panhandling. I asked a bus driver about him. He said he is definitely homeless and was probably sent here by a religious ministry in California. That comment made me think back to my seeing people “backpacking” along the highway from the Kona airport. The bus driver explained that some religious groups send their problems to Hawaii so they don’t have to deal with them long term. Sad.
Time for the beach! We had to take the shuttle ten minutes and then cut through the Marriott for public access. (All beaches in Hawaii are open to the public) The sand is a mix of black and light brown graduals with lots of golf ball-sized lava rocks around. After pictures of driftwood on this beautiful bay, we had lunch on the beach at the Lava Lava Beach Club.
Just as we were posting pics of the beach and our food, Southwest Airlines sent me a message: “Tomorrow’s flight home has been postponed 24 hours. We hope this isn’t an inconvenience.” Another day in paradise? I guess we can manage it! By luck we were able to spend an additional night in our suite at the Bay Club.
This trip ranks pretty high up there on the “trip of a lifetime” list. If you ever have a chance to go to Hawaii, I recommend the Big Island for its diversity of scenery and variety of destinations. Mahalo!
