Chargrin is such a good idea for a character in Brothership, love the concept of going to the other extreme and abusing the power of Bonds. I can definitely see them as the main antagonist in a sequel if M&L ever return to Concordia.

Do you think they'd manage to rope in the Extension Corps to his schemes? Would he have his own unique army?

I'm so glad that him representing the downsides of certain kind of (manipulative/parasocial) Bonds came across! I think it could be such a fun way to reinforce what positive Bonds look like versus negative ones.

For the Extension Corps, I could absolutely see him reaching out to them. Trying to sugarcoat recruiting them to his side by reassuring that he'd neeever ever forget their names (a real golden deal, right?)! Perhaps the three would be a bit more wary to make themselves henchmen again after what they got mixed up in last time, but who's to say they couldn't balance their acts of community service with a little more evil scheming?

As for a unique army, I could also absolutely see that! I'd love to sketch up concepts sometime, as I have a few vague ideas already! Chargrin has an odd insect (and parasite) motif to me, collecting Connectar, having his odd—almost stinger-like in some ways—tail, and the way he promises to contribute and maintain unity for all of Concordia if everyone offers their loyalty to him...but only taking from it in reality. I'd love to go further with that and make him a few electronic-based insectoid minions, ohoho!

I can't wait to share more lore about this bastard soon (I'm currently writing out his full motivations and a bit of backstory), thank you so much again for this ask and the chance to blab about him!

About the third sea (Brrning sea) onward.

Brothership got released for a month, which means I can post some art yayyyy!

Anyway, game was awesome. But throughout the Brrning sea, I keep telling myself "oh man one of the bros is DEFINITELY getting hit with the glohm ray".

Up until the 4th sea... the devs really make the most angsty plot device just to make it a status effect, huh? But I'm not complaining! It's funny how the bros' mental bond are just so tough, they can eat glohm for days in battle and can just shrug it off afterward.

But it did got me thinking about a "double glohm" situation. In game, you can only have one bro be glohm at a time. But I imagine that if you don't cure them and both were to get glohmed, they'll beat each other up until they faint and get a game-over. Or, they deal massive damage onto each other, and knocked themselves out of glohm.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt robbed that we didn't get a Cozette and Extension Corps interaction. How surprised would the Corps be? Would they still be subconsciously afraid of her? How apologetic would Cozette be to them? I need to know

Yes! I'm not so sure what position of power Wattanist have but I feel like finding out that the person who was supposed to protect the tree destroyed it has to be a pretty big surprise. I feel like if they did meet again the corps would probably be afraid at first but then she gets their names right and that initial fear dissipates, cause Zokket would have never done that and the group i feel like knows that deep down. I also feel like Cozzete is the type to keep her emotions deep, deep down so doesn't really apologies for a while and just, pretends like nothing happened around the corps. I think once she's in a better place she would tho.

I like to believe after game Connie was just like "Ms Cozzete you need some like, actual friends" and tries to get them to hang out cause she doesn't really understand why the four might not wanna see each other. But I do think they can become friends after a while :]
