Do you think that(based on what I’ve heard of the toads from other things on your account) a Luigi fan club was formed in the mushroom kingdom? (I’d be funny if there was)

Fun fact, there IS a Luigi fan club in the canon Mario universe! In Paper Mario The Thousand Year Door, there is a green toad that, if you tattle her with Goombella’s ability, you will learn that she’s the secretary of the Luigi fan club! So yes, the thing does indeed exist and it’s clear that a lot of toads are more fond of our green hero :D

Definitely imagine that’s something the toads would do lol. Luigi is like the most shippable guy on earth, there’s gonna be a new tabloid with a new love interest being rumours every single week. Meanwhile the toads are probably just happy that Mario and their Princess finally held hands.

Given how anytime a toad is more of a Luigi fan they go "Oh and Mario cool cool." Or "Luigis brother" makes me think some Toads just hyperfixate on one brother that they are just a tade forgetful about the other which is kinda funny thinking about them interacting, may they learn cool facts from each other and appreciate both brothers yes yes we stand Toads just being forgetful rather than malicious

That’s really fun to think about. Mario and Luigi are celebrity in their kingdom afterall, so some toads would probably be hardcore hyperfixating on them. They form clubs and maybe even “fandoms” like how we do it with real life celebrities as well, and maybe they even jokingly call Mario “red Luigi” from time to time as an ironic kind of joke. But yeah, here we stan the toads being silly little guys than being malicious :D
