I'm gonna lore dump about it real quick bc I have ideas and if I do not say them I will forget them.

Martin is 9 years older than Chris. Their parents died when Martin was 17 and Chris was 8. Martin got emancipated and was able to take custody of Chris but like all government branches... it's a really long process that basically drags out for Chris' entire childhood. Martin graduates high school early, gets a full-ride scholarship at Duke University while maintaining various jobs and internships. Sounds like a lot? yEAH bro is TIRED. But he's willing to put in the work if it means a better future for his bro.

Of course eventually he becomes apart of the Tortuga crew and things get a lot easier for them both. CPS is still riding his ass about taking Chris with him on these cross-country expeditions but he's been dealing with them for so long at that point it's not as scary.

I love imagining the character progression for dadmare as he gets more henchmen, like

Nightmare, after taking his first mortal: Why does this thing continually lose consciousness when I require it to work. Perhaps I should replace it... but it is loyal and an efficient killer, I suppose I will keep it a tad longer

Nightmare, having taken in several skeletons: Killer can't be left alone or he becomes destructive, it's best to keep him with Cross as he also keeps Cross busy which is good for him. Dust doesn't like to be left alone with Killer because they fight so keep an eye on them. Horror and Dust keep each other calm, they can be left together, but you must make sure food isn't scarce or Horror becomes anxious. Cross can be reactive when it comes to authority and he needs assurances that he's not in trouble, you must make a point of praising him when you can. Dust can't be left alone for too long or his mental health will plummet, you must drag him out from his hiding places every so often to ensure he doesn't spiral-

SORRY I wasn’t online ALL day today!! My dad took me and my brothers out to the desert to shoot some of his guns!! We only shot like old cans and paper targets and stuff, dw, I could never shoot in the context of hunting :((( but it was super fun and I picked it back up way faster than I thought I would!! I rlly liked the rifles the most, the one in the video in particular!! The handguns have a lot more kick and I’m not as good at aiming with them + also no scope so that makes it harder to aim too!!

Short video under cut of me! You can’t really see me hit them but I knocked over two cans in two shots while my brother was filming it (though Ig he wasn’t filming the whole thing bc you can’t see it 🙄/lh)

Adam has attempted borrowing CDs, using the computer lab, borrowing vinyls, sitting in people’s cars or next to an old fashioned radio just to hear music. Since coming to the realization of being alive, he’s become really attached to music in any form, it helps him process feelings and ideas he can’t quite articulate on his own.
