A little flashback with an old familial f/o for old times sake!

When i was his age, giving treasure planet another chance, i saw myself in Jim. just a lost soul looking for someone to believe in him. I probably kinned him before i knew what kinning was. In a way the movie was my first dose of healthy masculinity in my prepubescent years. He took his bitterness and turned his life around because he still believed he could make a difference to the people he cared about, and pulled through just because one person believed in him. I needed that the most in my life. He was like a brother to me. I chose this outfit as i wore it a lot as a means of gender euphoria in a time where i was exploring my masculinity. I hope it's not too weird that i did this. His character just means a lot to me. I hope somewhere out there that he's thriving today.

Considering how Starscream cloned himself and now Orbit has a ton more older brothers (and an older sister).

Skywarp was told to babysit but he's worried that Orbit might be too sticky and ruin his finish- kids are usually like that, right? Orbit wants to play with his airplane and truck toys but Skywarp is concerned that he'll hurt himself. Orbit wants to get energon ice cream but there's always a possibility, however small, of an Autobot attempted to poison them both. Skywarp manages to make him lunch and his afternoon snack but he nearly panics when the baby food is poisoned purple!- oh wait, that's just the color of the energon. Orbit wants to nap together but what if Skywarp rolls over and hurts him?? Skywarp means well and loves his baby brother but he needs someone else there to manage his anxiety.

Thundercracker thinks he's too good for babysitting- until he sees those green doe eyes then yeah, he totally meant he'd babysit right away! He's better at babysitting than anyone else! He gets huffy when Orbit beats him in a simple "baby" game but is remedied when he gets a bit too into playing with his toys. Soon Orbit is coloring on his coloring book while Thundercracker is still playing with the toys- well, he claims he's using it for battle planning! Yeah, that works. He's also the best cook out of everyone, yeah!! It doesn't take much effort to put energon formula into a bottle or stir the mixture into baby food, but Thundercracker takes the ease as a sign of his superiority. Orbit likes it too and purrs while napping on his chest later. (Thundercracker is many things but he'll admit that Orbit is the best at being his cute baby brother.)

Sunstorm is absolutely fawning over the chance to babysit the adorable Orbit. He's cooing at and praising Orbit for any slight move. He cuddles Orbit for the absolutely amazing pictures he drew him. He is astounded by Orbit's excellent taste in cartoons. (That Spongebob guy seems familiar...) He admires how Orbit can easily figure out little puzzles Megatron left for him to stimulate his growing yet intelligent processor. He is amazed that Orbit manages to eat his entire lunch without getting too messy. He purrs and chitters excitedly when Orbit climbs onto his lap for a nap. Soon the pair are purring loudly while napping until the great and powerful Megatron gets home.

Dirge and Thrust get to babysit together- wondrous. They quickly start squabbling while Orbit takes the opportunity of not being supervised and gets up to mischief. Dirge starts hoarding toys while Thrust gets upset that Dirge grabbed the exact horse toy he wanted!! Orbit shows them how to dress Barbies and now the clones are practically duking it out over who made the best outfit on their respective Barbie- Thrust complains because Dirge took all the "cool" options. The kitchen is a mess because someone threw a formula bottle at the other while Orbit got into the fridge and ate an entire pack of yogurt. Megatron sets them straight and makes them clean the house while he gives Orbit a bath. Two stars because at least Orbit is alive and didn't get injured.

Slipstream is hesitant to babysit, but she soon settles in. Orbit is a calm kid and cute. She mostly lets the kid do his thing while she watches. But soon Orbit wants attention and she relents, coloring with him and playing with him. She tries to get him to play a more structured game- but he's just a baby, after all, and is soon sticking the chess pieces in his mouth. Slipstream relents and cuddles him on her lap while giving him his afternoon bottle. She's not at all a motherly type but she's decent, at least. She's distant but warming up to the adorable sparkling.

When you told him you would love to join his Adventure Team, his eyes shined and he rushed to hug you with a wide smile. He celebrated you joining him as if something huge had just happened, and for him it meant the beginning of an amazing journey.

However, after a few fails in your first adventures and facing new troubles, doubt kicks in and you can notice. Bennett goes silent for a little while and isn't as motivated as always to search for new tasks for the group. And if you approach him to talk it out, he won't be able to keep it all to himself for long. Your presence and worry can be so reassuring for him that he finds himself suddenly trusting you with his thoughts.

Did you join the team because you were worried about what could happen to him? Do you actually enjoy going on adventures with him as a leader? Do you? If the conversation happens near night, he'll maybe ask to sleep with you after it. Don't worry, he promises to not move too much (...not like he can control that, though) and you'll wake up to your little brother snoring after a long day. Things will be alright.

I hope you know how to cook because meals when the team is small can get messy. And chaotic. Bennett will try his best to bring enough stuff for everyone, but that doesn't mean that will include specific ingredients needed for meals. Or that he won't somehow lose them in the way.

He'll be happy to help, though! His positive attitude shines even more when he gets to do things with you, and everyone who knows him can see that. Don't be surprised if you start hearing people in Mondstadt mention "the siblings of Benny's Team" (people miss the word Adventure sometimes) because of how obvious it is that you enjoy travelling together and fulfilling quests.

Bennett will love to mention to others the amazing things you've done in your adventures! Razor has heard from you multiple times already, so he easily feels at ease around you when he meets you. You take care of his friend, after all, and you bet Bennett is gonna try to make him shut up if he brings up how much he appreciates you and talks about you.

Will call you sibling a lot. Maybe ask if you want some secret code name for the Adventure Team, but he is rather used to showing the bond you have through words too so he would still use that between missions.

He's just so grateful to have you there! Coming back to Mondstadt together after a successful quest will surely mean you'll get a lot of smiles and a tight hug from him. He'll even try to invite the whole team to eat something, so please, take up your role as the older sibling and make sure he doesn't spend all his money on it!

First date- near the end of it, when I was getting less nervous.

When I first started crushing, despite her being fictional I was always scared she wouldn’t like me if she were real.

She’s way too good for me! When I fantasized, I’d always accidentally end up imagining her thinking my self-insert was weird or not good-looking enough or whatever.

I was scared of seeing anything of her rejecting someone angrily because even though I knew it didn’t mean anything, it’d make me think “She’d treat me the same way… she’s too beautiful and strong and cool to ever like me back realistically…” And then I’d be really sad.

Over some weeks, I eventually got over this and am now happily sure she loves me back. I know many, many people out there won’t even have it so easy, and have it ingrained in mind or have specific worries that make it much harder to realize that that f/o loves back. All I can do is tell you the truth in hopes you will one day be able to accept it:

Your f/o loves you, no matter what.

No one’s perfect, and like everyone should be, your f/o is well aware of this.

No matter how long it takes, your f/o will be overjoyed when you finally realize how loved you are. (If it’s even possible for anyone to comprehend how much love!)

Be patient with yourself, your f/o certainly, genuinely is.
