my biggest struggle in writing anything for wild westies (outlaw/cowboy au) is that i'm so used to writing the characters with new york accents that the dialogue is all over the place

it goes from "yer fellas are messin' with the wrong kinda folks" to "you's aint gonna believes the brawl we got inta today"

#how much easier would my life be if i just didnt have to write the accents #well #i dont have to but its more fun that way #but fr i have to reread anything i write for wild westies over and over again #to make sure the accent is western #and not #brooklyn or manhattan #wild westies #newsies outlaw au

i would give anything to watch a full movie on how the entirety of brooklyn came to be "spot conlon's territory". half of the brooklyn newsies are practically grown ass men, and they answer to this scrawny blond fifteen year old??

like come on
