Why McDanno from Hawaii 5-0 is an incredible and insane ship :

• Always calling each other babe (which yeah, for danny why not? He calls everyone babe (mostly Steve though)). But Steve he only calls Danny babe

• Constantly going on dates (like it's rarely justified as case related, sometimes the ep just starts and they're just hiking or fishing or whatever for no specific reason)

• The CONSTANT touching (I think there are multiple compilations on tumblr of just them touching each other, like them cuddling on the couch or Steve caressing Danny's neck, or Danny slapping Steve’s ass, or the regular bicep grab or torso slap)

• The I Love You's (which are only justified as platonic with I Love You, bro or I Love You man (sometimes not even that))

• The spanish "Te amo" instead of "Te quiero" translation

• "You're my Danno" (like what?)

• The whole fact that the show starts on the premis that 2.5 min after meeting Danny, Steve just changes his whole life trajectory and accepts to run a task force he didn't even want in the first place

MAKING A CASE FOR GREGORY TO BE EVERYONE'S FAVOURITE BRIDGERTON.

(Jk, this is just an excuse, like who you want)

Is he my favourite?

Yes.

Why?

Well......

1. He wants love.

From the start of the book, we are made aware that he has nothing going on and genuinely wants to find love like his siblings.

2. Friends over food.

The way he meets Lucy is him falling in love with Hermonie Watson(👀) and asking Lucy to dance. She pities him enough to carry him to eat because he showed up late and had to go mingle. Basically, they become acquaintances and friends once they decide to set up Gregory with Hermonie.

3. Bro is in love with Kate.

One of the funnier themes in the book is that he goes from saying something he loves about Kate and then compares it to something Lucy does.

4. Alcohol.

He keeps stealing and drinking Anthony's alcohol.

5. Fist fights.

He fights Lucy's brother, Richard, after compromising Hermonie (deserved, earned).

6. The first time they kiss.

I kid you not, I was in shock, tears almost and the energy after this moment never changes. Like genuinely at any point they would've been wed to each other had one person saw them but what makes if crazier is that the only reason it stopped was because Lucy was engaged and she remembered before it escalated

7. Making it everyone's problem.

After he realises he loves her, he makes it everyone's problem. From comparing her to Francesca to embarrassing Violet publicly , even roping Hyacinth in on hijinks, his story is a family event.

8. The Second time they kiss.

Hyacinth is in the other room, they are in Daphne's home and he has orchestrated a plan to propose to her in a closet.

9. They sleep with each other.

To the TSPWL and WHWW girls, step aside for a moment. Gregory breaks into his unofficial fiancé's home in the dead of night, goes to her room, and is eventually seduced by her. They proceed to sleep together, THE DAY BEFORE HER WEDDING TO ANOTHER MAN. They do so three times holding each other, then sleeping together and so on. She's doing it under false pretences because she isn't going to marry him atp.

10. A love like Violet and Edmund's.

They break the Bridgerton record for most kids. At the time of the epilogue, they have 7 kids and are expecting the 8th, they have twins and end up with 9. It's to the point where the pregnancy impacts Lucy and Gregory let's us know that the amount of kids they have is genuinely due to their lack of restraint.

11. They name their kids after their siblings.

Lucy actually gets to name one after her best friend, but there is a little Daphne and Anthony running around. Also a Kate.

12. Guns.

There is a gun stand off.

13. Kidnapping.

Gregory breaks the law, again.

14. Gay.

Lucy is pinning over Hermione during the first half, her fiance is gay, the uncle never marries......

15. 9 CHILDREN.

I don't want to understate the fact that they have 9 kids in less than 20 years. It was never that serious. She is 33 when they have their last kid. He's 39. They met at 18 and 24 respectively. 9 kids in 15 years.

16. LUCY MY LOVE

She's darling. Throughout the narrative, it's just her making sacrifices for everyone she loves. For her brother, her best friend, even Gregory, it's consistantly her trying.

Me when I get a chance to talk about Sword and Shield

Okay okay OKAY so this is my Sword and Shield Greenflower au where I completely make up Brad’s entire personality

Yap session time: so some things to start off: FSM is an actual literal God not just some fucking hybrid dude. He does that fanon thing where he makes Garm and Wu out of the golden power (they’re also twins in this). Anyways life happens (overlord isn’t. Really a thing? Like he exists but he’s more of that dick at the family reunion who spends the entire day drinking and then fucks off) Garm and Wu are demigods, which here means that they’re a) immortal unless killed with a VERY powerful weapon and b) cosmically powerful bc I said so. Anyway Garm ends up falling in love which everyone tells him not to do bc he WILL outlive her, but he still married Misako.

Now Misako can do Spinjitzu without an element which is supposedly impossible (elements are. Also a thing ig. Don’t ask me why FSM decided to start passing them out like party favors idk) and instead of lengthening her life like I did in TKAL, it’s too much for her body and she dies early. Garm doesn’t even really realize how much time passed from their meeting to marriage and deciding to have a kid since he doesn’t feel the passage of time the same way as mortals. They decided to ask FSM “hey can u do that golden power thing but with our dna” so now Garm is just standing her with a glowing demigod baby and dead wife

So he tries to be a chill dad for a while but his grief warps into this all-consuming hatred for mortals. It starts off as just avoiding them, finding them annoying, not letting Lloyd anywhere near them etc but eventually he starts going “genocide doesn’t sound too bad actually” (bro wasn’t even bitten by the GD 😭) and tries to steal the golden weapons. FSM has fucked off on vacation or smth by this point and left his kids in charge to take care of his realm while he’s out. Wu isn’t cool with genocide actually but is also too like. Divine? To really get the weight of Actual Genocide and just sees it as Garm throwing a tantrum. So instead of putting the guy in the realm of madness, he kicks his bro into the first realm to hang out with other Oni until he stops whining and takes Lloyd in to raise him.

Lloyd grows up with Wu, eventually the others show up for one reason or another and do missions or whatever not important point is he considers them family. And despite being a demigod he’s somehow still the baby of the family

Anyway Garm pops back in more genocidal than ever and with an Oni army. So obviously the ninja and Wu fight him and Wu tried to keep Lloyd out of it (bc like yeah he’s the green ninja but Garm’s his dad y’know). After too long tho Lloyd decided he can probably talk his dad down and they can just be a chill family together (lmao idiot). Garmadon is insane atp and does this crazy thing to Lloyd where he turns his kid into a fucking sword. Like. Literally takes the Sword of Sanctuary (FSM’s sword) and merges Lloyd with it. He does it bc he wants the green element for himself since it’s like the End All element

Wu steals Lloyd back, but can’t reverse whatever the hell Garm did to him, so he sticks his Sword Nephew in a monastery on the tallest mountain in the world and then just. Leaves him there. He doesn’t know what to do okay

Flash forward 50 years and Brad is living in a city constantly getting bombed, neither side has gained much ground, and he finds this weird scroll about magic swords in monasteries. So he climbs the mountain on a whim, as you do, and finds the sword and Lloyd. Lloyd turns out to be *gasp* an actual person. They decide to break the curse with the golden weapons and go on this whole cross-continental journey to find the damn things and then fall in love

Some stuff here for Plot: Lloyd being a sword comes with a lot of convoluted caveats specifically designed to limit his free will as much as physically possible, bc Garm is an insane piece of shit (I promise I love him just not here he gets better maybe)

So: the Wielder. Basically, if Lloyd is in Sword Form, whoever picks him up by the hilt automatically becomes the new wielder. Since this is basically Ella Enchanted this means: the Wielder controls whether he’s human or a sword (Lloyd cannot shapeshift on his own), the Wielder can physically force him to follow a command, and he can’t get too far away or he’ll automatically turn back into a sword. In Weapon mode, the Wielder can actually get him to turn into different kinds of weapons (anything handheld with a blade - no guns) to fight with.

Also, Lloyd’s powers (green element and Spinjitzu) are gone bc Wu did this thing to lock them up so no one could use them. Like not even Lloyd can use them and neither can the Wielder

And obviously Brad is the Wielder. They eventually get to the point where it’s a pretty mutual relationship and they’ve got this whole telepathic bond going on bc Brad is A Decent Person Who Doesn’t Treat Him Like Shit. In the finale Brad actually ends up using the green element with Lloyd bc he bagged a demigod it makes sense I SWEAR

And if all those rules sound convoluted and dehumanizing: that is the point. The whole story is really just about trust and personal autonomy. Lloyd has to trust Brad not to abuse the power he has over him, Brad has to trust that Lloyd actually cares about him, and the entire journey is so Lloyd can regain his autonomy, which Brad Does Not abuse. Like he literally refuses to turn Lloyd into a sword or order him around until Lloyd makes him bc bro you’re ab to die USE THE SWORD

There’s also a lot of hurt/comfort over the fact that Brad is Just Some Guy and Lloyd is this divine demigod who will outlive him several times over. Garmadon is actually so pissed that they’re in love lmao

Ok ending thoughts.

Starting of with Q kidnapping himself. He just seems to want reassurance that his dad would care for him and leave the case so that he would be safe. But all of this flipped around coz Q's dad already knows he's fine. This man should start showing Q that he cares. He is fulfilling his responsibilty as a dad but not showing it to Q. He cares so much about his safety but doesn't seem to think about Q's mental health.

Next, about Mhen's struggles. Glad that they showed us the struggles of a teenager who has a heart condition. Min doesn't let him go out of the house or anything, all with good intentions. But Mhen might be feeling trapped/outcast. Q was able to understand Mhen's feelings and helped him feel better.

Glad that Min and Q had the conversation. Min was given the reassurance that he did try his best. He really did need someone to reassure him like that. But Q saying that love is all that he needs in his life was a bit sad. But, Min has a lot of love to give. These two are perfect for each other. They are like missing pieces of a puzzle.

apollo has seriously always been one of my FAVORITEEE characters to write even when it was just the memoir, but going into early twenties apollo's head??? it's some wild shit going on thereJSDF he's dealing with a LOT and definitely not in the best ways and he is so not aware of most of it while being overwhelmingly aware of other stuff. it's just a total mess and it pains me whenever i write it knowing that one day this will turn into memoir!apollo and he will look back on all of these days with regret </3 he truly is toxic as hell but can we even blame him???? that's a question i still don't actually know (but darren would say yes)JSDFJ

it's a mix of all of these things! for one, darren is fully transitioned now and when he would be marrying apollo, he would be recognized as apollo's husband. also gay marriage is legal in america atp so like that can actually happen. (which was def a factor for darren, bc at that time he literally wouldn't be able to be recognized as male and also as married to apollo in the us). the press/media has definitely shifted its focus a bit from apollo and darren (though they are obviously still there sometimes) and overall is much less homophobic & transphobic & misogynistic (don't get me wrong, it still 100% is, but like, slightly better!! small steps!!)

Let's talk about 13 yo Aemond's bday gift? What was it for?

Why the hell HOTD showrunners needed us know Aegon had dragged Aemond to the brothel when the latter had turned 13? To show how awful person Aegon is? Well, no one doubts it after we learnt he SA'ed the servant girl and used to neglect and take adventage of Helaena when he was drunk (well, wasn't that always?).In addition, in the very same EP 9, we see he loves watching kids fight in pits. We get it! Aegon is a stinker!

Some say "by Westerosi standards, a 13 yo is and adult so it was high time for Aemond to become a man", implying he was not SA'ed and deeming him a lover of older women. Well, from the way older Aemond acts around the Madam (he avoids eye contact, fidgets and refuses to speak with to even when she tries to iniciate a coversation) we may guess Aemond's experience wasn't a pleasant one, to put it mildly . He even tells Cole he had no clue what was going on there, which makes me inclined to think Aemond didn't follow his bro to the pleasure house since he wanted to have fun. Moreover, had Aemond been 31, and not 13 , boozed and not thusly had no clue what had been going on, he would have still been a victim of SA.

Okay, from FnB we learn in Westerosi society, it wasn't that unusual for boys in their early teens to start their sex life. Iirc, Viserys 2 was taken to the brothel at the age of 13, so that he could learn what he was supposed to do with his wife. Aemond, however, was no heir to the throne. He wasn't even engaged ATP, do no one desperately needed him to sire offsprings. It was his brother's duty -after all Aegon 2 was the crown prince and a married man. Timeline in hotd is pretty messy, that's right, so I can't tell if the day of Aemond's 13 bday, Aegon and Helaena already had twins, as is the book canon. Afaik in EP 8, Aegon is 21, Helaena -19 and Aemond 18. So, Helaena should be around 13 in episode 7, and she's not yet married to Aegon. And definitely doesn't look pregnant... Still and all , having children was Aegon's duty to the realm and not the still unwed Aemond's. I suspect Helaena could have been already been with a child (or at least married to her big bro)when Aegon decided it was a good idea to introduce Aemond to the world of pleasures of flesh.

I also don't quite believe Aemond's "adventue" in the brothel foreshadows his relationship with Alys. The actresses cast for the roles of the Madam and Alys don't look alike- Michelle is curvy and tanned, while Gayle is skinny and pale. I think if they had wanted young Aemond's visit in the brothel to have anything to do with alysmond indeed, they could have chosen an actress who looks more like Michelle for the role of Alys. It's really hard to imagine Gayle was the only casting choice possible and they couldn't find any middle aged, sun -kissed and curvy beauty who'd be just as good actress as Gayle. Plus ,unlike Michelle, book Alys looked extremely young for her age. And last but not least, no one coerced Aemond to have sex with Alys .

Did the showrunners add the "brothel adventue" to Aemond's story for purely shock value? I can't rule it out, tbh. What bothers me is that it resulted in laughing off and understating the problem of CSA. I still hope there are not going to make the Madam Aemond's comfort person and his confidante in se2. I can't tell for sure if she's the woman who's with Aemond in the trailer (even in spite of all the theories). Still and all, I want to think it's either Alicent (who still loves her son dearly) or Helaena(who knows the past and the future and could be aware of what really happened in Storm's End).

Waah ok, so this is my absolute favorite ship from TWST but it's a bit tricky bc they pretty much already act like a married couple xD (to me). I think they would be the kind of friends that people would be like "so when did you two start going out?" and they'd be like "we're not dating?" lol.

aNWAY, I think Rook would have 100% fallen for Vil at first sight, but he wouldn't even be aware of it! I know it sounds unlike Rook since he's such a romantic and he's in touch with his feelings and all that, but I mean, he's a little bit in love with everyone and everything in life, so he would just pass it off as one of his admirations of beauty.

But yeah, the idea of,,, just Savanaclaw Rook being SO infatuated with this boy orz … the fact that he was like "fuck the mirror I'll transfer to Pomefiore"and and adn he entered the science club to get better at potionology and thus be a better companion for Vil!!! I seriously can't. Bro atp I'm not even saying headcanons, it's just canon bye.

So when becoming second years, he's changed dorms and he just kind of leaves himself up to Vil? The (soon to be?) dorm leader being like "to be here you have to dress and groom yourself accordingly" and Rook is like "okay, whatever you say <3" and he probably cut his hair himself and all but idc I like to imagine that Vil did it and he taught him to use makeup and !!! just like the physical intimacy and Rook being vulnerable when he always puts up a front with everyone else aaa 😭 i'm deceased.

And Vil too!!! He always strives for perfection, never allowing himself to be less -must be quite tiring! So Rook being the only one in front of whom he can actually relax 🥺 At first he would hate it, I think it would go like, Rook saying something silly (in the sense of… something so Rook-like, you know? praising something really mundane for its beauty lol) and Vil would laugh. Maybe even snort. It would be so natural and he woulnd't even notice it, but when Rook stops talking (when does he ever?) he turns to face him and sees the hunter staring back at him. That's when he realizes his mistake, he let his guard fall! He probably blushes and covers his face with his hand (what if there are some wrinkles from such an unsightly laugh?), but Rook would catch his hand telling him not to hide!!! That's the most beautiful he's ever been ><

It would take a time for Vil to trust Rook this way, but when getting used to it I think it would be so cute… He probably still catches Rook gazing at him so lovingly in such moments, which makes him bashful, but he can't say he hates it anymore. After all, he embraces the adoration the other has for him, even if incomprehensible to him in such moments.

Overall, I think this relationship would stand on a base of mutual trust, even unspoken a lot of times. They just connect that way, communicating with their eyes, not needing words (although Rook will definitely say them anyway lol). As for Vil… he's a bit of a tsundere, let's be honest. He knows Rook understands him without having to tell him, but still, he realizes that it's somehow unfair on his side so he will now and then say some sweet words that his vice will treasure forever in his heart.

With all that said, how would they enter an actual romantic relationship? Well, I think after some time Rook would eventually notice that his feelings are different form his general admiration of the beauty all around him. As for Vil, it would take a bit more time for him… first to realize and then to accept them.

About the confession… Rook confesses his undying love for Vil everyday. Probably after taking notice of his feelings he shifts his confessions to be a bit more specific and romantic? (going from "I could admire your beauty all day" to something like "I'd like to admire your beauty as you wake up in the morning", implying that he would like to spend his life with Vil). At some point, Vil would start to notice the shift in Rook's compliments and I think this would probably be the trigger to him realizing his own feelings.

So, in the end, I think it would be Vil the one to properly confess! If it was for Rook, he would be happy watching Vil from afar. Of course, he would love nothing more than to be by his side forever, but he would accept whatever makes his queen happy. Vil is the one who needs a confirmation, establishing something formal (and to have Rook for himself before he ends up devoting himself for some other idol- yeah Vil is a jealous man lol).

After NRC? Well, Vil would continue with his acting career of course. I think Rook would be happy to live somewhere in the nature and not the city, but he could accomodate for Vil. Maybe they could share a weekend house in the cottage of Pyroxene. Or, reversely, they could live somewhere more secluded and have Vil travel for some days when there's a shooting. At this point they probably made their relationship public, too. I can see Rook working as different things (mostly manual or artistic labours, not something academic), but for sure he'd be an amateur bodyguard for Vil lmao. I think the general public would get the idea that Vil is already taken and not to mess with his husband <3 and so they live happily ever after.
