6. is roleplaying the only writing-based hobby you have, or are there other things you like to write?

Yeah, no. It’s all roleplay related stuff around here. I used to do a lot more drabbles back in the day. Both on tumblr for my muses and even back before then either on forums or shit I think I wrote a lot of one-off stuff on deviantart too? But with how much I have to do to keep up with drafts any muse and energy I’m more than happy to funnel into doing RP. I don’t feel any regrets or feel like I’m squandering my talents.

If anything I feel like I need to spend less time writing and more time doing other things. Even if it’s just watching anime or playing video games. I need to expand my horizons and give myself more ideas to work with when it comes to plots and just consuming other media (shit what if I read a book) would help with that. I’m also trying to learn bass, and could do to put more time into that...

She’s an interesting muse since like a few months after I picked her up (when she was just a child) she got the sequel announced with her as the star which immediately threw out every hc I had for her. I’m not even mad, I keep bringing it up because it’s hilarious and it makes me wonder- am I not thinking off the wall enough? Do I get too domestic with my hcs and sell my muses and what they get up to short?

Regardless, I’ve got a good core and line set for her now post-AINI. Which is to say this girl is needing some kind of guidance. She’s been without proper guardian figures almost half her life, and cut something crude out of stone that makes up a semblance of the kind of person she wants to be. But now that she has that, and so many things in her lap (sans a boyfriend) she doesn’t.... know what to want? To do with it?

With all these paths in front of her she’s at a point of indecision and the ideal outcome is for her to realize that she doesn’t need other people telling her which option to go with, and she can simply live and go forward finding out things organically. Her life has so much insanity going on and her maturity was so compressed, she feels like that next step needs to come along.... now. And as someone who’s in their 30s and still hitting strides that’s such a fucking LOL.

So the ideal is for her to learn that line of maturity. And get proper guidance. I still think she’s better as a powerhouse businesswoman than she is an ABIS agent but I know AI3 will continue to laugh in my face somehow about that. Mark my words.

THREE RANDOM PEOPLE?! okay. i'm trying to stay away from my obvious answer and spread the love so lets see...

@trickstercaptain / @immobiliter - lottie is brilliant. brilliant. i've been with this muse for 8 years and i think i've been writing with lottie for 7 of them. where would i be on this site with lottie? i truly don't know. i can't remember if our first interaction with killian and jack was like a meme reply or a starter or what but it was just this instant dislike and it was great. usually there's like a bit of build up but they were pissed off and at each other's throats in about one paragraph i think lmao - and it's continued into this sort of rivalry across all verses that honestly never gets old because theres a different depth to it every time. except for detective killian. i have high hopes for their temporary truce turning into an actual friendship. and then theres all of the muses across her multi and their interactions with killian and with my own multi and i just .. lottie is one of those rp partners who i don't stress about. things can take years on either end and it just doesn't matter. it's always fun and it's always gold. you're an amazing person, lottie. never doubt it.

@talesspin - katie is another person I've had on my various dashes for quite a bit, but I know for sure i originally found an older one of hers through killian and was just immediately like hello at the writing and character development because it was top fucking notch and she's only raised the bar even higher as the years go by. Did I reach out back then? I don't think so. Was it because I was stupid? definitely yes. But having her multi on my dash now is truly a fantastic thing. Beautiful graphics, fantastic headcanons and meta and just the BEST characters. I'm slower than slow but the things we have are some of my favorites. i truly cannot wait to see the various ways amelia kicks killian's ass. I can see it coming. It's right there on the horizon. I can't wait for it. Katie you are so easy to plot with and just a joy to have on the dash - you've got skill and I love being able to see it every day.

✖ How has Tumblr RP changed since you started?

HOO BOY ... considering i've been on this hellsite since 2013 ... a lot ... container theme era when everyone and their mother had one and it was weird to not have one ... specifics feel a bit harder to pinpoint since my memory from then is spotty at best and i was in a singular fandom bubble for a little bit before branching out to be fandomless.

i do know there is a bigger acceptance in exploring things such mental health and other themes when it comes to characters ... maybe it's because i was also young at the time and not as knowledgeable, but it felt weirdly stigmatized during those earlier years or just something you dont really do? which is like ... ick. i think it's a wonderful facet to explore (when done appropriately and with respect), may it be to find a personal connection through your favorite character, or just finding out something new about your character and a new topic to research and expand your horizons.

it took me a long time to feel comfortable accepting that one of my OCs had clear signs of BPD, when i am a person that doesn't have that myself ... but at that time resources were also kinda few and far between, and it wasn't something i really saw being talked about by other writers so it felt like a thing to just kinda keep to yourself. obviously over the years i’ve been writing him i’ve researched to understand it better alongside CBT, but it did definitely take a while to feel comfortable bringing it out in the open.

now i can say i'd be a bit more comfortable exploring such a topic compared to back then (obviously age plays a bit into that too, me at 15-16 vs now is definitely a jump LOL).

☯ Have you ever tried to bring peace to a situation?

mmm maybe not directly? i can't quite remember acting like a direct middleman to any conflict, mostly as someone to offer advice to one of the sides ... i suppose if that counts as bringing peace through trying to resolve their issue? augh, specifics is hard to pinpoint through, most are usually tied up in trying to resolve miscommunication and how to get certain points across without it coming off too strong or too harsh or too soft.
