It makes me really sad to see all the hate Lizzo got for placing so high on the Hottest 100 yesterday. Like yeah she's pop and she's not Australian but she's my emotional support pop artist ok? She did more during the 2019 bushfires than our actual Prime Minister at the time did. She sacrificed a lot of money to cancel shows and personally stood at an evacuation centre helping distribute food to displaced people. Scott Morrison was in Hawaii. As far as I'm concerned Lizzo was my PM for that term, I'll revise history all I like if it means she gets to be there.

i occasionally have normal not-nightmare not-even-disorienting dreams where i use electronic devices and remain at least semi-literate so i often read things with an intent to screenshot to show later and then i wake up a little confused.

so imagine my momentary disappointment when i wake up and discover that there is not in fact a tumblr user whose first line of their description reads "allie / rûthun"... immediately followed by a fucking BEHEMOTH of a paragraph talking about their Bring Me The Horizon Oli Sykes... femslash? (he wasn't even called Oli Sykes here he was like, something "Damien/Dameron Ali" but i could see him in my mind's eye so i KNOW it was 2010-era Oli Sykes, if with slightly longer hair. also the acronym for the band was not quite correct).

i was so dumbfounded that someone had like, a weird spelling of Ru'thûn for a name and had an AO3 for real person fanfiction that i screenshot it with the intention of sharing it and making a quip about how i found the real Ru'thûn.

i recreated it somewhat, i don't remember the entire body of the paragraph verbatim so it is just lorem ipsum with only some exact sentences and keywords where i remember them being. they had this... really weird profile picture that was like, a lightly microwaved jpeg of some kind of inspirational quote you'd find on facebook but it was zoomed in on one side so you couldn't even read the full thing it was just cursive font and a heart icon.

the description would've went on for twice as long but this is as much as i can fit on my screen. as i said it was a monstrous paragraph of inane nonsense.

they were really defensive about their... "Damien Ali" AO3 femslash. like it was very important to them and i don't remember exactly why. they didn't even have their username in there they just said "find me on AO3" and that was all.
