☆ 𝐆𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 seem to really like physical displays of affection very much. Every Gemini I knew always loved giving hugs specifically lol. They may enjoy physical touch as a love language.

★ I often notice how 𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐈𝐎 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 aren’t scared to give their opinions no matter how controversial they may be. They don’t care if people agree, if they truly believe in it then they will share it and whoever disagrees can kiss their own ass. Which can seem intimidating to many especially with how much intensity and passion Scorpio brings to the table.

☆ I find it so easy to spot someone with 𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒. You guys give a very mellow and grounded energy that is very specific to Earth signs. Y’all have that signature down to earth presence or a very firm/calm tone of voice that I recognize instantly even thru text lol.

★ Everyone wants to call Leos the most “cocky” sign but have y’all seen 𝐆𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈? They’re the real culprit here lol. These guys are number one fans of themselves (do I even need to make examples lol) and I respect it tbh.

☆ Speaking of 𝐋𝐄𝐎, they love to just disappear for like days or weeks straight out of absolutely nowhere and then come back like nothing happened and resume from where they left off. Like sir, are you not gonna explain why you just ghosted everybody? Lol like are you gonna explain where you was? (double points if that Leo has Sagittarius or Aquarius influences in chart cos they’re even more prone to going mia).

★ When people have 𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐒 in their big 6 or heavy Mars influence in the chart I notice that they tend to sound/come across way ruder than they’re actually being lol. They can be very dominant and intimidating in conversations. You’d think they’re angry or being mean but they’re just asking you to pass them the water bottle lmao. Often I think they don’t even realize that themselves since they’re just built that way.

☆ People with 𝐒𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐈𝐎 & 𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐍 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 in their big 3 together kinda scare me lol (in a good way). They usually are very into occult stuff and/or are strongly religious and showcase it very openly and firmly. Sometimes they just have a very intimidating aura/demeanor to them. I notice how they frequently tend to be very into dark colors and themes/styles too. They don’t f*ck around at all. Love y’all 💚

★ People with a 𝐆𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈 𝐒𝐔𝐍 usually have their Moon sign qualities be more noticeable. With Geminis I tend to catch onto their Moon sign behavior before I realize that they’re a Gemini. Could be a mutable thing where they’re versatile enough that their Moon qualities shine more than their sun sign qualities. Very frequently when I try to guess a Gemini’s sun sign I actually guess their Moon sign. They tend to act like their Moon more than other zodiac signs in my experience. They may not even notice it either.

☆ I hope I don’t offend anyone for this one but people with a 𝐏𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐔𝐍 𝐎𝐑 𝐌𝐎𝐎𝐍 (frequently more moon) mother tend to have veryyyy chaotic childhood stories about her. Somehow these moms tend to often be pretty emotionally unhinged people (no offense but in my experience so many of my friends have a mom with a Pisces sun and/or Pisces moon and they all always tell me how their moms have crazy mood swings or a very erratic behavior). I’m honestly so sorry for anyone who had, or still has to deal with such an environment. 🫂💚

★ 𝐆𝐄𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐈 & 𝐒𝐀𝐆𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐈𝐔𝐒 are the best opposite sign duo in astrology imo. I’ve never seen many Geminis or Sags that say they dislike or don’t get that along with one another. We really click well and even I personally can testify that lol. These two always besties.

☆ Also 𝐏𝐈𝐒𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐋𝐀𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 loooove anything to do with 2D characters or just fictional stuff in general. They love their ffs, romance books, making fan arts or edits. Every Pisces I knew had some kind of obsession with multiple fictional characters or shows and each one of them had accounts dedicated to making art or edits about said characters/shows lol. No matter if it’s a manga, an anime, a video game, a song, a movie or a cartoon, a Pisces placement will most probably romanticize a character or wtv it is they feel resonates with them in some way. I know lotta people do that but Pisces are usually more prone to be very frequent and indulgent with it in my experience. Not judging anyone, just pointing it out lol.

Unorthodox Besties 🫂 | Leah Clearwater Headcanon

Being a vampire and best friends with Leah Clearwater would look like:

As you can imagine, you two were natural enemies in the beginning. A shifter and a vampire? Who are best friends? Yeah like that could work. 

But surprisingly, the two of you had more in common. You enjoyed movies, music, books, crafts, and traveling. You talked shit about the men around you. Judged the humans when they made stupid decisions--to which Leah would scold you for threatening to drain them of their blood. 

The friendship was a slow progression. And considering you were forbidden onto the Rez and Leah despised being near the Cullens, you two hung out in Forks or traveled to nearby ones. Then on special occasions (birthdays, holidays) your super speed was an advantage to get to Canada, Seattle, or cross state lines for the day. 

At functions where the Cullens and Wolf Pack are together, you two take to a corner to talk shit and judge everyone--completely unbothered by the fact they can all hear you. "Did you hear the latest scandal at the high school? It's rather juicy." "You mean the history teacher and guidance counselor? Yeah I overheard some seniors talking about it at the diner." 

You're Sam's biggest hater and always lets him know it. 

Seth is the one member of the pack; besides Leah, you would do anything for. He's like a surrogate little brother and after many years of friendship with Leah, he looks to you as an older sibling. 

Esme and Carlisle are very welcoming to Leah, and it takes a bit before Leah willingly comes to the Cullen house. Rosalie and Jasper keep their distance, but Alice tries to give fashion advice and join y'all when you go shopping.

You guys exchange books, buy gifts related to the other's interests. Leah teaches you social media, and you tell stories of your past. 

Leah sends you memes of vampire related media to piss you off. In retaliation, you gave her a plastic dog bone as a gag gift. 

You'll have human snacks and beverages in your room for when she comes over and pack them when you go on weekend vacations to get away from your families. 

Leah scouts the animal population and keeps updated of the hunting season. 

When you graduate high school for the dozenth time and Leah goes off to college you two get an apartment together. Preferable closer to wooded area and not downtown in the city. Y'alls aesthetics are completely opposite so when Leah brings classmates over to work on projects (with warning of course) they often make comments like, "Wow, this wasn't exactly what I expected."

Once a week, you'll drain the blood of an animal into a wine bottle so you guys can chill in the living room where Leah has a glass of wine and you have a glass of blood. She'll rant about her classmates and professors, and you'll share opinions on current world topics.

I have to be very honest. When I came up with the idea for Violet and slowly figured out her personality, her background, her likes and dislikes... never in a thousand years would I have imagined that she'd be so LOVED that she'd got not one, not two, but a total of 17 fanworks dedicated to her. SEVENTEEN. That's literally the highest number of fanworks that I've ever received based on something that I wrote, and in this case, to make it even more special, it's my very first Super Mario OC that I've ever created.

So, really, this is seriously a dream. You guys spoil me with your AMAZING art and ideas. And you all draw my girl so CUTE. I swear I can't choose just one of the many fanarts I've received, because she looks incredibly pretty and adorable in every single one of them and I love and treasure them all dearly 💜💜💜

I just wanted to say that I've been thinking about Morpheus being a grandpa. I also wonder how he would feel about it, I mean he's old already HAHHAH, but like, that would be a new kind of love in his life. I also think that maybe Corinthian would be the babysitter again and all that would be lovely

I mean, I’ve said this many times: All things considered, he should have been a girl dad, and I stand by that (*if* we assume he should have been a dad at all, which remains to be argued 🤣). I have the weird head-canon he would have been softer and more forgiving with a girl, but that’s totally not grounded in any deeper logic. Just the feelz 🤣

And he would have been a tricky one to convince that anyone is good enough for his girl, so whoever is the dad or other mum would have had to prove themselves so badly. Feeling sorry for them already. But Morpheus would have been secretly racked with nerves (would never admit to it of course) about her, and he would totally lose it emotionally when he sees his grandchild for the first time (would also never admit to that and probably lock himself away to secretly cry in a corner).

And then he’d be with the grandchild as he was with baby Orpheus (from what we know from Calliope), and I’m just like… no let’s not go there 😢

No chance for the Corinthian to be a babysitter I think. He’d want to do it all himself.

Now, if we’re assuming Orpheus had survived… they would have such arguments over how to bring up the kid. Not loud, shouty ones. Just stubborn growling and moping at each other. And that’s where Cori 2.0 would be awesome. He’d just whisk the kid away for ice cream and bring them back when they’re done with their petty squabbling. Better for the child, too.

And this is a total head-canon shitpost based on wishful thinking, because to think about the real implications honestly breaks me a little 😩

Found out I recently had AO3 anniversary ✨ (it's 08 Nov if you're just like me and not friends with dates formats) (plus smth like ten years as reader perhaps 😁)

Then I realised it's been more than a year since first ff story was outlined. I outlined the second one briefly at that time as well and wrote some vague idea for the third.

So much has changed over this time, I started actually writing after many years of break and now I have several wips and projects (one of them is just a little part of my work now, technical articles) (only one of my projects is fanfiction tho, and it's also the only one i'm translating).

And I joined fandom for the first time in years and met so many wonderful people and amazing creators.

Never I could have suggested I'll be posting somethings I write for.. people to.. actually read?.. and they say they like it?? wild! I'm still learning a lot (by reading and actually studying ✌🏻🫠) and there is a long journey ahead, but I'm glad to notice some improvement over time.

Someone once said—if you're not happy with anything you're doing, try to remember what brought you joy as a kid. I loved writing huge essays in school and some silly hp fics for my bestie to read.

So here I am to tell you to remember what used to bring you the most joy when life was easier.

Consider it a sign to try again (if you haven't already, and if you have - I'm so proud of you 🫂)

no one will care but… here i am!

i had to do four exams of four different subjects. one of it was teaching of science, didactics of the social sciences, didactics of the geometry (pure geometry should be named instead) and deca (it is related with christianity, i’m in a catholic uni)

the first one went better than i thought, and idk how i got a 9/10 as a final mark! the didactics of the social sciences and deca were not about studying but more like a revision of what we covered in class, the projects we did, etc., during all this year, so i think i might have passed (hope with good grades!)

about didactics of the geometry i have literally 0 idea because the exam was too difficult comparing it to de ones we did before (and i have really high mark in them), so i hope only to pass my exam with a 5/10 🙏🕯️

what makes me the happiest is that i’m finally free to write, read, finally getting to meet one of my two internet besties AND OF COURSE SHOW YOU WHAT I’VE BEEN UP TO WITH THEM

anyways, this might sound so cheesy but i just feel so loved here, so thank you so much for bringing me the joy of writing i lost in wattpad, where i didn’t feel supported, and where i felt like my works were shit, and why i started doing all of ir in the first place 🫂

Hong Lu: The Vessel Theory

(disclaimer; true to form, long as shit)

Yep. I’m back. This is happening.

I just wanna say first and foremost, I have to give the MOTHER of all shoutouts to Netz (@beanie0bird) for both helping with the theory as a whole and hearing me out throughout its gradual development. He's my Hong Lu expert and I absolutely would not have gotten here without him. ily bestie 🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂🫂 /p

I should also probably shout out one @lu-is-not-ok, their own Hong Lu theories were a pretty big inspiration for this one and I encourage y’all to check out their posts, they go way more in-depth than I think I’ll ever be capable of lol

OK, theory time. The Vessel Theory at its core is that Hong Lu is, in actuality, some kind of body double or clone of either his original Jia Baoyu 1.0 body, but with 1.0's trademark Jade incorporated into his eye. The idea was essentially brought around so the Jia family could keep their Most Specialest Lil Boy™️ around for forever, and every time a Baoyu 1.0 dies, they make another vessel for his Jade, take the Jade out, put it back in the new vessel, and act like nothing ever happened because they're rich and rich people can just get away with shit like that. My guess as to what Xichun and Wei are doing out and about is that the method used to bring Hong Lu into the world is faulty in some way, which would explain why it goes dim in C7, that's probably a hardware bug of sorts. Either that, or maybe Baoyu 1.0 is starting to deteriorate himself after so many body replacements. It also explains why Hermann roped Jia Huan into her endeavors; the Human Dough from Canto 6 definitely shows Hermann's interest in tampering with the boundaries of mortality in some sense.

The catch is, though, Baoyu 1.0 – his consciousness trapped in the Jade, at least – is still aware of all of this, even though he can't control the bodies he gets inserted into; though I can imagine his vessels can at least feel his presence or thoughts in some quantifiable shape or form. Explains that little "am I the dreamer" monologue from Hong Lu, and why the name of his Canto in other languages can be translated as "All I can do is watch it"; that's all Baoyu 1.0 can do while his consciousness is stuck in the Jade.

Speaking of which, Hong Lu, when he's starting out as the new Baoyu 1.0 vessel, isn't really adjusting super well to the expectations of being the new prodigal son, not to mention the abusive siblings, but Granny's a little nicer to him and reckons "Ah he probably needs to get to know his surroundings a little bit first, tell ya what sonny, you go out and see the world then come back and we'll see how you fare then" and sends the lad on his way. He bumps into Faust at some point. The rest is history. At least, I *think* it's his grandma who gives him the whole sightseeing mission; could be wrong.

Now then, as for what I think this all means for Hong Lu is going, Netz and I had some hiccups piecing this together, I don't think either of us have a concrete grip on the overarching theme of the book ourselves. My prevailing theory is that because the book itself ends with Jia Baoyu 1.0 becoming a monk and isolating himself, and OUR Baoyu 1.0 is already doing that to some degree in the Jade, Hong Lu's arc will be coming more out of his shell and opening up to the Sinners more about his emotions and opinions. He stops living in a dream world where he doesn't have to worry about anything, and can now utilize his experiences in The City to live life beyond the boundaries of what his family wants for him. I also really hope he pushes back against his abusers some, just to bring it all home. Maybe we get the actual Baoyu 1.0 out of his Jade and he takes over for Hong Lu? Maybe Hong Lu has to move on without Baoyu 1.0? Guess we'll just have to find out.

Again, I can't say I have a whole lot of evidence from, say, in-game dialogue or cross-referencing DOTRC to back me up, but then again, I have a Hong Lu expert on speed dial, it's not like I *can't* find anything.

What I *DO* have, however, is EGOs.

Starting with the big one; Land Of Illusion. My hypothesis is that the EGO art is a hyperbolic depiction of Baoyu 1.0 languishing in the Jade, with the rest of the world lying just outside with him now unable to affect it in any way. It also doesn't help that the walls of the room pictured are red; he's literally trapped in a Red Chamber. That's his dream world in the book supposedly; Baoyu 1.0's retreating to his happy place to escape the pressure of always having to be the Most Specialest Jia Ever:tm:. Five Gloom for wallowing in his melancholic solitude, and a Sloth on the side for willfully ignoring his forced responsibilities.

Either that, or it could be depicting Baoyu 1.0 at some point during his FIRST life, before all the body double shenanigans.

The rest of these will be shorter, I promise.

I've seen analyses for Ambling Pearl that describe the Abno as representing "a place made by you and for you," so there's a dead-on hint right there. Can't say I have much else, but at the very least I like how a common theme with the Abno is that it often just gets bored and walks away if you don't directly do anything to it. More on that in a second.

Netz helped me out with Soda; it's escapism for one, and apparently in LobCorp, Wellcheers rewards you for getting good research results on it. That definitely lines up with having to maintain the prodigal son image, at least to me.

Dimension Shredder represents a lot of things, but chief among them to me is a feeling of being lost. It's a little vague, sure, but I can definitely see Baoyu 1.0 not knowing what to do with his life given how he's not in control of it anymore. That, and Hong Lu was *literally* sent to wander around The City to get more used to it. Netz also tells me it represents not being able to keep up a facade, which DEFINITELY scans, although I couldn't tell you how the Abno represents that lol.

Roseate Desire — Rosie, as Netz and I call it — represents Baoyu 1.0's repressed and locked-away emotions, especially given that his mouth is tied up in the EGO art.

Lasso is… fairly loose, all things considered, though I do think there are some ties specifically to the apple from Rose Hunter's encounter. I'm sure we all know what it's implied that apple will become later, and Rose Hunter is actively enforcing that prophecy. An aspect of the EGO is being willing to let bad things happen so long as you feel it's what is best. Granted, in Baoyu 1.0's case, him letting the siblings treat his vessels like shit is beyond his volition, but a clue's a clue. Plus, if nothing else, we can always tie it back to Hong Lu and how nonchalant he seems to be regarding his family and the abuse they put him through in the past.

Lastly there's my personal favorite, Frog Lu (AKA Cavernous Wailing). There's… a lot, lmao.

One: Disobedience. I mean, I reckon getting sent off by your gramgram might go against the family grain some if they had no idea about it. That, and as we've established, Baoyu 1.0 is getting a little tired of the pressure to be perfect all the time.

Two: Obeying the wishes of family after said disobedience. This one I'm a tiny bit fuzzier on, but you could say that Baoyu 1.0 still does feel love for his family, or at least his elders, despite all he's been through, the hangup is he wants to express it in his own way without being forced into it.

Three: Wanting space to tackle your emotions yourself. This is where I was going with that thing about Ambling Pearl wandering off. Leave it alone, it leaves you alone. Let the toad cry, and you get an EGO gift. Baoyu 1.0 stays in the Jade and is thus the only person who can actually grapple with his feelings. Hell, he gets sent out into The City *alone* in an attempt to better his understanding. This man just wants a safe space to cry, goddamn it.

one thing i like about them: everything? /j but in all honesty i love ethan’s unhinged vibes in act 3 because i think it’s such a good contrast to the whole “shy loser” thing he was giving in acts 1-2. he went from 0-100 energy wise and it’s so fun to me. i know a lot of people didn’t like the baileys as killers (they’re tasteless i fear) but i just loved their reveal ++ the sheer insanity ethan was bringing to the table. it’s fun because you can tell that quinn was like actually mad as hell and upset meanwhile ethan’s using this time to let his energy out, be jealous over his crush, and just generally menace sam 😭 i also love his dynamic with quinn even if we got like (2) good seconds of it on screen. and just all the untapped lore that could exist for their family LMAO. but you know that already i fear!

one thing i dislike about them: hmm this is hard bc i rlly love ethan (as we know) but tbh it’s got to be the fact he’s just utterly delusional 😭 like sir NO ur never going to be ur dads favorite son and sir NO chad was not this asshole jock u are trying to claim he is chad is just a sweetie pie himbo!!! ++ i dislike that he didn’t have more screen-time with tara and quinn pre reveal bc i think that would’ve helped with some of the third act but idk 🤷
