Ok so like yes everyone is happy that a ceo got shot, but that doesn't erase problems with the second amendment. There are still more school shootings in a year than fucking days. One person using a gun to exact justice does not make the fact that fucking seven year olds have to accept that the possibility them not coming home from school one day is just a fact of life. Gun regulation laws are not nearly strict enough. Children are dying and no one gives a fuck. It's not even like it's some big impossible question to figure out, because multiple ass countries have efficient gun policies. Is a yearly mental check up so impossible? Are children dying daily not reason enough to give a fuck? Another thing is that universal healthcare has literally been instituted into 32/33 main developed countries in the world, so it should not get to the point that citizens are resorting to murder for their problems to be even noticed. Luigi Mangione (if he is the killer) is justified in his actions, but that does not make shitty gun laws ok in any other circumstance.
