For Star Wars folks, there doesn't seem to be an indie version of wookieepedia, but this extension can also send your request through Breezewiki, which cleans up the ads and other garbage on fandom.com
From the link above:
On an internet dominated by ads and corporate-run websites, Indie Wiki Buddy is a browser extension that helps you easily find and support independent wikis. When you visit a wiki on Fandom or Fextralife, this extension will notify or automatically redirect you to quality independent wikis when they're available. Search results in Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Yahoo, Brave, Ecosia, and Startpage can also be filtered, guiding you to visit an independent counterpart instead. Indie Wiki Buddy supports over 100 independent wikis across 7 languages. And you're in full control -- you can choose your experience wiki-by-wiki! Indie Wiki Buddy also supports BreezeWiki, a service that renders Fandom wikis without ads or bloat. Once enabled, BreezeWiki provides a more enjoyable reading experience when an independent wiki isn't available!

So, I just found something very cool and extremely useful...
This little website is a frontend for Fandom wikis which scrubs all the muck and crud off, such as ads, ads, and more ads, and just gives you the wiki page, itself, just as nature intended! Check it!
If you're one of the millions of unsatisfied Fandom users out there who just want to see information or pictures without all the unnecessary extras, BreezeWiki is, without a doubt, the way to do it! It can even be set up to automatically redirect your web browser to use its services, if need be!
Enjoy your beautifully clean and pristine wiki content as it was intended to be displayed! Try BreezeWiki, today!
Please note: I am not affiliated with – nor was I asked to advertise – this website.

after a long period of being offline, breezewiki seems to have now completely died (RIP :c ), does anyone have any good alternatives?
UPDATE: ok never mind, seems it was some combination of breezewiki.com no longer being a valid domain and me being redirected to the /pt/ portugese version of a Fandom wiki page for some reason? anyway everything is fixed now, I edited the redirector extension to use “https://bw.artemislena.eu/“ instead of the breezewiki.com url and it works fine again, whew

Clipped Wings
sources - Otherkin Wiki, [Fandom] Otherkin Wiki
A subset of faerie wherein you feel that your wings have been clipped. This can also be a term that works to describe a general sense of dysphoria around being faekin in which you feel that at one point you were fully a fae but are now disconnected from that realm.
#breezewiki seems to be down rn so popups warning *faekin* is a direct link to Fandom#my coin#faekin#otherkin#pride flags#my kin#faerie#fairy#otherhearted#alterhuman#archetrope

makotools is everything the enstars fandom wiki wishes it could be. if only i remembered to use it
#im exaggerating both are good in their own ways#obvs the fandom one is objectively worse bc its hosted on fandom but#the fandom wiki is helpful for checking jp schedules and what happened when#+enstars basic#and it has song info and lyrics which is super super handy#its also pretty tolerable when using a breezewiki mirror#but!!! holy shit makotools is hands down the best like. enstars planning resource for playing on en#ive been using fujiwiki for en dates but no theyre on makotools too......#so far ive only used makotools for checking card base and uncapped stats#but like..... theres loads more man woah#only downside is that it loads like shit on my devices :////// its so slow#BUT LIKE. YOU CAN SEE WHAT CIRCLES CHARACTERS ARE IN AND WHO ELSE IS IN THEM. you cant do that on the fandom one#(you can see what circles someone is in but not who is in a circle ykwim)#idk man. forever in love with the makotools devs and contributors

BreezeWiki is SOOOO good! they even have an instruction manual on their site for adding an extension to your browser that will automatically redirect you to the BreezeWiki version of any Fandom link you happen to visit, which has been an absolute game-changer for me. i've literally already forgotten what regular Fandom pages looked like, it's beautiful.
i just discovered today that they ALSO have a function (if you install the auto-redirect extension) that will usually stop you to let you know if a Fandom wiki you're visiting has a non-Fandom alternative you can visit instead. for example i was trying to look up a Zelda thing today and was greeted with this message:
so yeah, love the work they're doing over there! can't recommend BreezeWiki enough. i wish an inevitable and humiliating death to Fandom and i'm very grateful for intrepid heroes like these folks.
my quality of life has improved tenfold ever since i was introduced to breezewiki, a site that exists solely to remove the bloat from fandom.com wikis. no more ads, quizzes, random autoplaying videos, popups, recommended pages from other sites, or discord server member lists. just the wiki. these things are finally readable again

First I was being kept from Ruin by waiting for a YouTuber I could actually stand to watch play it. Now I'm being kept from comment responses about the lore that's driving me up the fucking wall (I've seen one already) because my internet has decided to implode.
#IF YOU CAN'T TELL THIS IS INFURIATING#I'M FUCKING DESTROYING THE BREEZEWIKIS AFTER ALL OF THIS OKAY??#I'M GONNA SET IT ALIGHT IF THESE COMMENTS I CAN'T SEE ARE LIKE THE ONE I DID SEE#ARSON IS THE ANSWER RIGHT NOW I THINK BUT I KEEP GETTING DISCONNECTED#/SCREAMING/#LET ME IIIINNNNNNNN
