The wheel says Uncle Break is next, so it’s probably good you brought Auntie Jack with you this time. She dances Randy up the porch steps. “You remember what to say, kiddo?” she asks.

“Wing a wing!” Randy says, reaching for the doorbell.

“Close enough,” Jack laughs and lets him get his little hands on the button. He wing a wings it real good.

Break opens the door slowly but you see him relax and grin when he realizes who it is. “Hey,” he says.

“Trick or treat!” Jack says cheerily.

Randy echoes her. “Twickatweet!”

Break offers the candy bucket. “Happy Halloween.”

there are so many amazing and powerful benders in atla but what i love about zuko is that whether or not he can use his bending in that moment has zero (0) bearing on how much he’s going to absolutely kick your ass. no bending? that’s fine - he’s got swords. no swords or bending? that’s fine - he’s literally just going to beat you up. if you’re REALLY unlucky then you get all three. as a treat.

Alfred: Seeing as you failed to get Jack Fenton to glance in your direction, let alone consider you a romantic partner, I fail to see how you would help Master Damian with Danny Fenton. Bruce: Jack Fenton has a son!? A son Damian fancies!? Alfred: Yes, he does. Interestingly enough, I had a similar conversation with your father back when he learned Anthony Fenton's son was Jack. Bruce: I can't believe this. It's always the Fentons. WHY CAN'T THEY EVER LOVE US BACK?! Alfred: Well, you know what they say. The third time is the charm. Perhaps Master Damian will have better luck than you or your father did. Bruce: Do you really belive that? Alfred: Oh not at all. I've seen the way Mr.Fenton looks at Master Damian. That is not the expression of a boy who fancies someone. Rather, I would say it's the one a butcher aims at a cow for slaughter. Bruce sighing: And the cycle of heart break contuines.

When Danny enters the Fenton portal for the very first time, he still trips and shocks himself but at the same time damages the inside of the portal enough that it can’t sustain itself past the point of changing Danny’s molecules.

The electricity and damage done to both Danny and the portal isn’t something Danny, Sam, and Tucker can cover up and his parents find out immediately. They’re more concerned about their son then the portal (they have the blueprints for the portal and can rebuild it later but can’t replace their son if something happened to him) and go through a lot of things emotions regarding the existence of ghost human hybrids.

Danny’s new biology could easily be passed as meta human traits. Unfortunately President Lex Luther had just recently passed laws against meta humans. Meaning they can’t risk people find out about Danny’s new powers, at all. The Fentons decide that Danny should live with one of Maddie or Jacks relatives off grid until he can control his new abilities better.

luckily Jacks sister, Martha, and her husband have experience with a super powered child and after their son moved to the city could probably use a hand on their farm. All Jack needed to do was call.

tfw you shoot your boss but he comes back to life so you organise an impromptu mutiny against your him which leads to you accidentally bringing about the literal biblical apocalypse which is only stopped by your immortal boss dying for good this time but psych he actually comes back to life AGAIN and then immediately runs away whilst you’re on a coffee run and you don’t hear from him until a few months later when he’s suddenly a wanted terrorist on the news with his toxic ex and some random junior doctor

When you'd first met Break, he'd barely spoken a word to you. He spent most of his time hiding in his hoodie. It was cute, but it meant that you had to work hard to make him feel comfortable around you. It was slow going and you weren't entirely sure it was paying off, until one day when you were practicing a new routine and working on a tricky bit of footwork.

Break had been watching you, something he did more and more now. You tried the steps again--left, right, left, turn around and-- "Dang it!" You stumbled and almost fell. The only thing that kept you from hitting the floor was a pair of skeletal hands.

For a moment, the only sound in the studio was the music still playing in the background. Then you heard a low pfffffftttttt. You looked at Break, who grinned at you and gave your hands a little squeeze. The fart sound got a little louder. Break helped you up and let go of your hands. He kept his hands out in front of him, showing you the little whoopee cushion on one of his palms.

"The old whoopee cushion in the hand trick," he said. "It's always funny."

like, it's really fun how fontaine starts spiralling out the closer jack gets to him in the final arc of the game and returns to appropriating the image of family (the fake family in the beginning, the flawed father position later) to try and appeal to jack in some way but it's like. buddy. baby. you already took off your mask. anything you try and put on after this is going to come across as cheap and desperate. the magic is gone! and personally? I'm hooting and hollering
