Made Kasimir in Hero Forge so I could make cute stuff with him and our monk, Brandy.
For reference, this is the art our DM used for him:
Here's our cute lil pathetic man:
Bonus pic of Brandy giving him a lil cheek kiss (She actually did do this, he was so awkward about it of course lolol😅😅)

He tore the silver chain around his neck and slowly lowered it, first the pendant, then the chain, into her hand.
“There is one way we can be together, actually," he said with lowered eyes, and she wondered why he felt so humbled to ask it of her. “I’ve been cursed, and my name has been lost to the annals of the North Atlantic. I’ve not heard it spoken, whispered, sung for nearly a quarter of a century. I don’t even remember it, if I’m honest, though I know I’d recognize it if I heard it.”
Brandy’s quizzical brow begged for more.
“My name is written between the folds of the locket, and there is only one soul in the entire world that can open it.”

You're a Fine Girl
“Made of finest silver from the north of Spain….” Brandi hummed the rest of the tune. It was an old piece, from her parents’ time, by a one-hit wonder called Looking Glass. The song was all Brandi knew of her birth parents. That, and the necklace.
Like in the song, it was a braided silver chain with a locket. It had been looped around Brandi’s neck when the police found her, while the song played from a cassette in the car’s stereo. She was a day old. The car had been reported stolen from its seventy-eight-year-old owner, a widower with no surviving family. The doctor who filled out the birth certificate put down the only name mentioned in the police report, so she grew up as Brandi Silver.
The necklace’s clasp proved an impossible puzzle, likewise the locket. The chain itself was looped in a very clever fashion so that, as Brandi grew, the loops could be undone without removal or alteration. Brandi had taken it to jewelers a couple times over the years, but all they could offer was assurance that it was made of silver. The style and operation of it eluded everybody. In the end, it became as much a part of Brandi as her eyes or hands.
The phone chirped as Brandi fitted dangling silver roses through her earlobes. She tapped the screen, and answered as she started to apply makeup. “Hey girl!”
“Hey, yourself,” drawled Cat’s voice. “I’m en route, you ready yet?”
“Just about.” Brandi promised, “I’ll be dressed to kill by the time you pull up.”
“See that you are,” Cat warned. “Opal’s takes reservations very seriously. We show up late, we may lose out.”
“This place better be worth it, Cat,” Brandi riposted. “I don’t want to have to start a food fight just to liven things up.”
“Trust me, honey,” Cat vowed, “this’ll be a night you won’t soon forget!”
“A cathedral?” Brandi observed as Cat pulled up in front of the club. “Really?”
Cat giggled as she slid from the driver’s seat and took the ticket from the valet. “What,” she teased, “afraid you’ll get flashbacks from the convent?”
“Fuck you,” Brandi invited in a genial tone. Hands linked, the two women skipped up the steps into the club called Opal’s.
Brandi winced as the doors slammed shut behind them, and from reflex turned to look. “Cat,” she raised her voice to carry over the music, “all teasing aside, I don’t like this place.”
“We just got here!” Cat protested. “What’s the problem?”
“Um,” Brandi hedged, “maybe that they barred the doors behind us?”
“Welcome, revelers!” boomed a voice over the speakers. “The main course has arrived, so let us feast!”
“Oh,” Cat breathed as every pair of eyes in the club turned glittering, dark, hungry gazes at them, “shit.” In the next second she screamed, as a horde of shadow-shrouded things leaped at them.
Brandi felt her hand snatch at her throat, fingers wrapped around the braided chain. The gesture was familiar, one she did whenever she felt the need for reassurance. This time, though, the chain fell slack from her neck, and felt heavier in her hand. She glanced down, and gaped at the length of sturdy, gleaming chain that curled around her feet. Barbs decorated its length, and a cross-shaped blade stretched from the end.
A glow drew Brandi’s attention to herself, and she stared as her favorite clubbing dress shimmered and stretched. In an instant, she wore an armor-studded one-piece, accessorized by matching gauntlets and boots, while something that felt like a tiara weighed upon her brow.
Next to her, Cat underwent an even more startling transformation: short fur sprouted everywhere as her limbs and face elongated, becoming feral and feline. With a screech, Brandi’s best friend leaped to meet the onslaught.
Brandi hefted the chain and whirled it around her head with a skill that surprised herself. As she also joined the fray, she complained, “I’m too old to be a magical girl!”

A second song about Brandy (she's a fine girl, what a good wife she would be) where she waits for the sailor at the docks and meets a mer person (I don't care what gender) and falls in love with them too, and then we find out that the guy she's been pining for is also in love with the mer person and he's been going out to sea to find them. (The sailor loves Brandy too, but is afraid that he can't give her the monogamous relationship he assumes she wants.) Now that the merperson is hanging out at shore, they become a happy polycule and whenever the sailor goes out to sea the merperson takes letters back and forth and visits them both and nobody is lonely because now there's dedication, understanding, and connection, and they live happily ever after.

While picking blueberries this evening, I had the most random idea* pop into my head: Hosie AU based on “Brandy” by Looking Glass (and…there’s a official music video…for a song from 1972!)
[song.link for other services: one or two]
Hope’s obviously the sailor, not so much married to the sea as committed to being alone because everyone she loves dies, or some mix there. Locket…hello, talisman! Josie’s Brandy, with her fascination with the mysterious Hope, check. Does her best to understand 😢 Not sure how to work that out, but maybe we leave it bittersweet?
(* Proof I am, in fact, still alive.)
