I am testing something based on a conversation I had with a coworker: Have you ever been in a Beauty Supply store. NOT Sephora or an indie makeup boutique. Not the cosmetic section of a wholesale store. I mean a generic named, located in the hood, beauty supply store.

#for context the concersation had been about a white couple who adopted a black girl in her teens#when she asked them if they could do her hair. they realized they had no idea where to get the right products or how to install faux hair#she had to show them where the beauty supply store was and they asked a neighier to style the girl’s hair#and they waited too late at night so the woman ended up braid until 2am in the morning#braiding*
