Okay so no more DVD boxsets for Gmmtv. We are now going to get only Memorial Boxset and frankly I will never spend that much for only posters, postcards and photocards.
I had a tiny hope they would give a DVD boxset for Perfect 10 Liners because it seemed the series was working well in terms of engagement from the fans, but no...
I don't know why they made this decision and I admit I'm a bit disappointed. I felt that it was the most interesting merch they could sell. I loved the fact I could own the DVDs. Now it seems I will have to go back to downloading my favorite shows.

Swords, Spacemen, and Superspies Box Set by James Kochalka. Black Eye Books, 2024. 9781738920082. (The box set includes a digital edition of each book.)
The three books in this boxed set are fun and showcase both Kochalka's skills and silliness in the best ways.
Elf Cat Is Famous by James Kochalka. Black Eye Books, 2024. 9781738920037. 100pages
This fantasy story is drawn in black and white, so it feels like an instant classic. Elf Cat is broke but he needs a sword. Lucky for him (maybe) he plays by his own rules. Nothing can stop him, not even Elf Dog.
Moon Book Prototype by James Kochalka. Black Eye Books, 2024. 9781738920044. 20 pages.
An alien soldier on the moon -- he looks like a robot or cyborg -- finds a book. As he faces the muscular Bigbro and the deadly Snakeskin, he explores the magic of reading. A lovely gift for the librarian in your life!
Duck Fighter by James Kochalka. Black Eye Books, 2024. 9781738920068. 90 pages.
A secret agent-type dude in a pink tux crashes the Sisterhood of Duck Appreciation's get-together. Several ladies are happy to see him, at least until he attacks a hat that one of the members is wearing (it looks like a duck). After that some of the ladies are still happy to see him, but there are ducks that must be fought and a vision quest to take.
This book is insane, and it's my favorite of the bunch even though Moon Book is about reading.
Physical and digital copies of each were available at http://blackeye.ca, but you may have to use your library superpowers to get them at this point.

Black Sabbath is my favorite band of all time. I like all the eras. Yes, even the Tony Martin era, which is often derided as “not real Sabbath.” If you’ve never given those albums an honest listen, and especially if you like the Dio era, you really need to play them. And now, with the release of the new box set (“Anno Domini: 1989-1995”) you can finally own some records that have been out of print for decades.
I never thought I would actually be able to own vinyl versions of these albums in my lifetime. I am astonished at how good these records sound - especially Forbidden, which was remixed by Tony Iommi himself. One listen and you will hear the difference screaming at you. Iommi’s guitar tone is so delicious and tasty now. I listened to Forbidden twice in a row this weekend and I enjoyed every minute of that. This was unthinkable to me before. The other albums have been remastered (not remixed) and make me really happy. This box set is 100% worth the price. Get one while you can!

I don't like this new trend of memorial boxset. I don't want a memorial boxset, I want a real one with DVD or at least they could switch for a USB key like some other studios are doing. Why is gmmtv doing this?! I accepted that they wouldn't give one for Ossan's Love because of a licence problem, but Us the series shouldn't have this problem.
I didn't mind paying a high price to have them but I don't want to pay a high prince for a photobook with pictures from the series and a couple of photocards. I always like the shooting from magazines better than what gmmtv is offering in its boxsets.
I hope they won't do that with all their series because it would be sad. We can't rely on streaming services. Series disappear at one point or another. Will I have to download everything again? I didn't mind paying for the extra contents we would get in boxsets.
Yes I'm a bit upset by Gmmtv's decision. I wanted my boxset of "Us"

SLAAAAAAAAAYER!!! I never, ever thought I would get to own this box set. “Soundtrack to the Apocalypse” came out in 2003 - the year I sold all of my worldly possessions and sank all of my savings into moving to Texas for law school. I literally had no spare change, much less the funds to lay out for this bad boy. I read articles about it, lusted after it, but never even saw one in real life. Until one day…
I was in Colorado Springs to visit my sister and took the time to go to one of the best record stores in the country: Entertainmart. I know this is a chain, but the CO Springs location is so enormous you can spend all day there. It was while I was there that I saw this box set sitting behind the register. My brain took a second to process what I was looking at. I dared to ask the question that so often frustrates the fun: “how much is that?” Answer: $60. Boom! I couldn’t pay fast enough.
Slayer has a special place in my life. That band was a major part of the soundtrack to my high school years. Seeing Angel of Death live and living to tell the tale is an unforgettable experience. Life is so topsy turvy right now, but this pile of blasphemous goodies is sure bringing me joy today.
