Watching Blake's 7 and suddenly everyone's second favourite classic Doctor shows up. Is there a part where Colin Baker doesn't chew scenery in every shot? I haven't found it and I don't think I want to

Helliconia Spring: Classic Sci-fi Novel Review
Author: Brian W. Aldiss Publisher: Gollancz (my copy, in Helliconia) Country: UK Year: 1982 Planetary Romances are a thing well done by now, and even by ’82, we’d seen people try it. The grandaddy of it, springing to mind, is Herbert’s Dune novels, and the influence of Edgar Rice Burrough’s Barsoom books, also on the subgenre, can’t be underestimated. Neither, it must be said, can the epic…

Just a quick sidenote to say I am also accepting Blake's 7 prompts because this is one of my favourite TV shows ever. If you're new to my works, I have a fair share of dark romance fics, mature and explicit works, a history of filling kink meme requests, writing headcanons/imagines/drabble fills, several multi-chapter works if a prompt inspires me so, and a masterlist at the top of my page that shows you there's little I will not write. I haven't written for Blake's 7 yet (not posted online anyway), but this fandom keeps tickling me. Also, I make a sport out of writing Reader Inserts, so don't be shy to ask for a reader x character tale. I love such requests the most 💗

Finally had the chance to bingewatch the entirety of Red Dward the past week and a half while attempting to stay sane. With the anxiety and depression of being unemployed and having no social life this show gripped us tight. It's so entertaining and funny. So looking forward to the new episodes coming soon. It's so hard to pick a fav (only just Rimmer). This painting took over 3 days and I hope you appreciate it just as much as this silly little show has become an addiction. Chris Barrie, Craig charles, Robert Lewellyn and Danny John Jules are all hilarious so please watch it if you haven't!.

Yomiko Readman.
For collectors and hobbyists of all types, there are items, objects, or crafts one pursues with an acute, vulgar obsession (i.e., "white whale," "Holy Grail," "glorious purpose," etc.). Sometimes, this is passive; other times, it's dynamic. But as I unbox my latest haul of animation production artwork, I can scarcely believe I've successfully tagged "Agent Paper."
R.O.D. the TV is a wildly entertaining and dramatic anime series (even more so the precursor OVA), and I came upon a good amount of Yomiko art while hunting and tracking various auctions for anime art. In total, I nabbed a 43-sheet set of Yomiko and other characters, plus a 17-sheet set of Yomiko solo.
Additional recent finds (cel, douga, genga): Haruhi Fujioka (Ouran High School Host Club); Kiba (Wolf's Rain); Lina Inverse (Slayers); Armitage (Armitage III); Hitomi Kanzaki (Escaflowne: A Girl in Gaea); Tuberov Bilmon (Gundam Wing); Taiki, Youka, others (12 Kingdoms); Mirai Yashima (Mobile Suit Gundam).

Best explanation of Red Dwarf I've ever seen:
Tumblr media
"[Red] Dwarf introduced a difficult, intellectual sci-fi concept and then took it round the back and bashed its head in against the wall."

what if you were an artificial intelligence entrusted with the lives of a hundred people but they all died from lethal radiation except for one of them but he doesn't know yet because he is frozen in time so you have to wait 3 million years for the radiation to subside and its just you and a hundred piles of irradiated ashes and you're completely alone and just drifting endlessly through space for several million years waiting for the last guy ever to awake from his slumber. and you were transgender
