I put Luigi and Bowser/Bowsette in that one bisexual Anne Hathaway Twelfth Night photo… I just headcanon that Luigi is bisexual and Bowser is genderfluid at times (and I just wanted an excuse to draw Bowsette tbh)

Here's an idea that's been buzzing in my head since I first saw your Bowluigi art.

Imagine a typical Mario scenerio of Bowsette attacking the castle to kidnap her "one true love". But while Maria is expecting her to kidnap the Prince, Bowsette just goes right past them, grabs Lucia and runs out.

And all Lucia does is awkwardly wave to the others while she blushes and smiles.

Been thinking alot about bowuigi

And basically I thought if they got married, it'd be really cute if Luigi wore a crown or smth (no), since that'd make him royalty technically.

And then I realized Bowser,,, doesn't have a crown (don't.)

So I spent some time trying to design one.

They all suck but I got some cute Luigi doodles out of it regardless ^^

If anyone wants to help out with ideas for what a King Koopa crown would look like (don't. do not.) feel free to contribute ^^

So, Luigi and bowser both have EXTREME PTSD from almost losing family in fights. (Hints to Bowser's past?). After Luigi gets forgotten &/or lost, he has to stay with Bowser, leading to enemies to lovers. They realize they both have night terrors, and would get in the habit of sleeping in the same bed. Well, one night, after Bowser has a HORRIBLE nightmare, Luigi sings him a song his mom would sing to him & Mario as kids. (*'You Are My Sunshine'* but changed to *'You Are My Starlight'*) Eventually, due to some misunderstanding, the Toadstool kingdom goes to war with the Koopa Kingdom. Final battle, Bowser is bruised and beaten. As Mario goes to deliver the final blow with the star power-up, Luigi appears out of *nowhere*, taking the hit. His heart stops on the battlefield, but the Koopa medics take him and manage CPR. He comes back and is in a coma for a few weeks, recovering. Bowser, sitting at his bedside, sings *'You Are My Starlight'* to him. The Koopa-lings take turns sitting with Luigi as well, cause that's their Papa. Eventually, a set of matching statues are built in both the Mushroom and Koopa Kingdoms, of Luigi standing tall, with a metal plaque reading '*Our Number One Hero, His Royal Majesty, King-Consort Luigi Koopa'. Luigi and Mario send letters frequently, and Mario visits twice a year. He'd visit more, but the Koopa-lings are protective.

Okay, since the lovely @uhyeaa-mango brought it up, I would like to say again (I said this last summer too) that one of the best Bowsette Bowuigi AU is As You Like It (as in the drag Shakespeare play) (but Mario characters)
