Phoenix had completely forgotten that he even downloaded the dating app. It was on his actual phone, the one registered in the name on his birth certificate. He'd finally taken the time to pick it back up and go through it, including the dating app that he hadn't updated since before the accident.

He fixed it up and decided to go through it, not expecting any real results. Maybe that's why he indulged whenever he finally did get a match. Big Austrian guy who seems a little awkward. Cute.

As was the case with most things pertaining to societal expectation, König had been pushed by either his therapist or Horangi to download a dating app - rejection therapy, low-stakes interactions, still faceless. 'Dating' app was a flawed description. More like a butcher shop, selecting a good cut of meat. Even the bright color of the icon was setting him on edge. Each notification a thorn in his side, a bitter reminder of what the otherwise skilled soldier was lacking. Swipe after swipe proved fruitless and until he'd been on the verge of deleting the app in a bout of frustration (thumbs too big for his phone and why the fuck was he wasting time on this when he had a million other things to be doing). It's a match! The notification lingered for too long, König's heart racing as he read the sentence over and over. Pathetic how he could handle gunfire millimeters from his head with little to no adverse reaction but the idea of having a human interaction activated his fight or flight. [König: I heard some bad weather is coming ] The message sent before he could convince himself to delete it or think of anything better (his therapist did say that the weather was a completely normal conversation starter - maybe not in regards to a dating app, but she did say that once).

Eddie obviously knows how to sew (hes not only dirt-poor living off of a single consistent paycheck and whatever he earns selling drugs, but hes also a punk- theres no way he DOESNT know how to sew), but steve most definitely does. not. one of his shirts get a hole and he throws it out.

When eddie first witnesses this, hes fucking MORTIFIED and ends up digging a t-shirt out of the trash and sewing the hole closed and fixing the loose stitching on the hem and gives steve a lecture about not wasting fabric and money.

And from then on, steve just shows up at the munson household every now and then with various clothes in his arms, asking eddie to fix them for him.

The suitors all call Odysseus "old King" like ??? Do they not know his name or who he is? Did they just see a posting "Looking for new king of Ithaca against Queen's will, dw about who you're replacing" and a bunch of dudebros just went hell yeah lets go?

The only time some of them seem to have any knowledge of the old kings personality is when one guy is like "this guy cunning" and another goes "smartest king around tbf" and that is IT. Saying "he's more cunning than I thought" about the guy who's basically responsible for bringing down Troy is CRAZY. Which leads me to believe that that guy doesn't actually know that this is THE Odysseus. which, again, CRAZY.
