New Orleans Trip 2024

Hello! I finally have time to post about my incredible vacation to New Orleans I was able to have. It was a week long and that week wasn’t long enough! New Orleans is truly magical and full of history and culture (and ghosts!) and I miss it so much. From the food to the weather to the music, New Orleans is more than I could have ever imagined and I was able to visit it with my friends! @dreamofme9 and @amc-iwtv joined me on this dream of a vacation and we saw so much. Too much. I’ve been able to make a few collages full of our moments and all the experiences we had!

From walking the streets of New Orleans to taking the streetcar, we never stopped. There was just too much to take in! I could list every single place but I would much rather just share these photos and memories that I will forever hold close to my heart. I don’t think I’ve ever felt as alive as I did during this week I spent with my beautiful friends. I’m blessed and I know it.

You may click on the photos to enlarge them. They hardly capture the true spirit of the city but they are gorgeous, and that’s enough for me to share all the places I went to and all the food that I ate! All the drinks that I drank! Amazing!

I need to go back. I will go back. My life wasn’t complete until I set foot in New Orleans and a piece of my heart remains there now, forever.

I feel like barnabys favorite drink (alcoholic) might be a old fashioned? And non alcoholic mixed drink. Might be a Shirley temple. (Which Is my favorite non alcoholic mixed drink!)

He doesn't drink it often, but he definitely has every horse that comes on the cap

I like to think the first horse in Bradley's collection is from the bottle gifted to Nick and Carole to bury prior to their wedding. Southern tradition has it that burying a bottle of bourbon before your wedding wards off rain and brings good luck to the marriage.

For each of his parents' milestone anniversaries, he buys a bottle of Blanton's. A tradition Carole started after Goose's death and Bradley kept alive after she passed 🥃 🐎
