i know that other vampire shows have some type of prosthetic make up to put above the actors skins so the other actor could bite without having to make direct contact with eo. i am really surprised IWTV don't use that technic. Like, is either sucking for real until you leave a bruise in your co-worker, which Jam clearly don't mind or pretending by playing with angles and potentially having saliva running down your neck or whatever they are pretending to bite.

On a side note it seems they was working with a different intimacy coordinator for season 2. The one in Season 1 was Deven MacNair and the one in Season 2 according to Jacob in the 1st video was someone called Kat (?).

You know, I love Kris to pieces, and I'm absolutely all for the super cool, ultra-competitive, often sassy/sarcastic, absolute girlboss depictions of her. She truly deserves all of it!!!! Her character design alone definitely gives off those vibes, and I'm sure there's in-game evidence to support that kind of personality (I haven't played Crystal yet so I can't actually confirm that part myself). But I'm also begging people please please please let her be just a tiny bit cringe because she deserves that too <3 I think that if you wanted to (key word is want---I'm genuinely not trying to police or judge anyone here, as there's nothing wrong with simple characterization---I'm just pointing out a common thing I've noticed), there's so many interesting ways to explore her personality without making her just another Cool Girl(TM).

(I've seen a similar thing with Lyra being simplified to sweet-but-a-little-ditzy and/or cheerful-but-secretly-Sad(TM) and/or having an "I can fix him" thing with Silver, but that's probably a conversation for another time >_> )

procastinating at work but here's my philosophy for today: it's okay to hate a behavior in someone else but also understand that this behavior does not make them a bad person. like i HATE when i'm venting or talking about a serious problem i have and then the person i'm talking to starts trying to relate by talking about a similar experience they've had. like absolutely hate it. make me feel like the focus is being taken off me and it genuinely is in some ways, regardless of your intent. yeah, i understand that's your way of trying to comfort me -- but that's not the way i need or want to be comforted, and that's what matters in a situation where i'm coming to you to be helped.

and that's okay! like. no one is in the wrong here unless i have explicitly asked you to support me in a different way and you're intentionally refusing, or if i lash out at you when i could just disengage. it just means you're not a person i should go to for help when talking about my problems. we can still be friends, you and i can probably support each other in different ways, but we're just incompatible in this regard. and that's like....okay. it's okay to be incompatible with people.

And they weren’t that burned down so he wasn’t gone that long but it suggested he ate a whole ass meal like he didn’t have dinner on his table at home. But also he looked so uncomfortable at that dinner table and still somehow ended up looking over the presentation.

dishwashing machine broke, mom's coming home in three or so days so I'll have a patient to care for on top of brother & sister, dad's stressed out and I've never been better. admittedly still have to work out a study schedule but life will be a lot easier now that...I don't have to go to school and can skip the commute, family has to listen when I tell them not to do [insert thing that is inadvisable, like trying to walk a km when you're feeling faint], and I can. access the internet of my own free will [used to be chained by the whims of the wifi owner]
