Smut. I do like me some smut. But my god please actually have a good story and character development. If it’s ONLY smut then it’s boring as hell.

Fictional Asian inspired stories/Asian fantasy

I started reading again in December last year. I hadn’t read since I was a teenager. I lost interest in the genre of books I was reading but didn’t have the money, resources or knowledge for acquiring new books. I didn’t know what I wanted to read because I didn’t know how to find what was available. So I stopped reading for like….10 years. Maybe a bit more. I found the transition from YA books to adult books jarring. Especially coming from a sheltered and strict home. But it’s safe to say I’ve officially found what I like, on a complete fluke trip to the bookstore with my sister in law.

I do enjoy other things such as gaming, music, tamagotchi collecting, 3d modelling, studying languages and binge watching shows. But since this is my book blog, that’s what I focus on here💝

i watched the movie first, and i loved it so so so much! a friend of mine gave me the book as a birthday gift since e watched the movie together for the first time.

i cried so hard watching it and when it was about reading, it was even worse!

marion can be a terrible person, but i know all the three ones were victims of society.

the worst part for me was that, even this being a fictional story, a lot of people had the same end as patrick :(

Turned my salt lamp on and it’s storming outside, so all of us readers know what time it is!

I literally only made it to chapter two yesterday (so embarrassing), but I was so exhausted from the day to day, and from drafting my own novel. Now I can finally relax a bit. So glad I also have Monday off to get in an extra day of reading! ♥️

S/N: does anyone new to the series know where I can find little virtual book clubs OR want to start one where we discuss our thoughts on the books (bc I have no one to talk to that’s actually read them, except one person) & I’m dying to share emotions and theories and thoughts!!
