Kumina is an Afro-Jamaican religion. Kumina has practices that include secular ceremonies, dance and music that developed from the beliefs and traditions brought to the island by Kongo enslaved people and indentured labourers, from the Congo region of West Central Africa, during the post-emancipation era. It is mostly associated with the parish of St. Thomas in the east of the island. However, the practice spread to the parishes of Portland, St. Mary and St. Catherine, and the city of Kingston.

Kumina also gives it name to a drumming style, developed from the music that accompanied the spiritual ceremonies, that evolved in urban Kingston. The Kumina drumming style has a great influence on Rastafari music, especially the Nyabinghi drumming, and Jamaican popular music. Count Ossie was a notable pioneer of the drumming style in popular music and it continues to have a significant influence on contemporary genres such as reggae and dancehall.

The Kumina riddim is a dancehall riddim produced by Sly & Robbie in 2002. It has featured in recordings of over 20 artists including Chaka Demus & Pliers and Tanya Stephens.

Kumina is an Afro-Jamaican Religion and is not the same as Pukkumina or Pocomania.

Kumina emerged through the practices of indentured labourers who were brought to Jamaica from the Kongo region of central Africa after the abolition of slavery. In the second half of the 19th century it syncretised with Myalism. Kumina differed from Zion Revivalism in rejecting the belief that the Bible should be the central authority behind worship.

The practices of Kumina are primarily linked to healing.[4] Healing ceremonies utilise singing, dancing, drumming, animal sacrifice, and spirit possession, with the intent of summoning spirits to heal the sick individual. These elements are also found in Myalism and Zion Revivalism.

Organization of Kumina communities follows the general local character of African religions in Jamaica. Kumina communities are small family based communities or nations. Some nations include Mondongo, Moyenge, Machunde, Kongo, Igbo, and Yoruba. People from Kumina families are given the title Bongo. Marrying into a Bongo family is one avenue to become a part of a Kumina nation; special initiation is the other avenue. Kumina nations are led by a "King" and "Queen". Imogene "Queenie" Kennedy AKA Queenie III (c1920-1998) was a well-known Kumina Queen in the 20th century, born in St Thomas in the late 1920s she later moved to Kingston and then Waterloo, St Catherine.

The use of cannabis or ganja in Kumina may have been an influence on the adoption of this plant as a sacrament in Rastafari, a religion that developed in Jamaica during the 1930s.

What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?

In General

He always stands up against villains that try to conquer the world.

Whenever fighting Niles, it's to only thwart him and never outright intends to take his life.

He is a very whimsical and lively person who enjoys being the center of attention, impressing others, and making them laugh.

He attempted to save Danny when he was kidnapped by Jafar and despite being unable to save him, he went through many procedures to ensure it would never happen again nor to himself.

He defends Danny whenever he gets bullied.

He's very protective towards his friends and whenever teasing some of them, it's usually in a playful manner.

Unlike his adoptive father, he shows genuine concern for the safety and wellbeing of others.

He has a great ability to forgive those who used to be his enemy, accepting their personalities that contrast or parallel his own.

The Genie Team

He asked The Genie Team to help him reclaim Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.

He defeated Darla and Max by turning her into a blueberry and by sending him through the Television Chocolate Setup respectively.

He asked Ellie to turn him into a genie so that Danny wouldn't feel so lonely as the only boy genie.

When he stopped Niles from destroying Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory, he asks him why he's doing so instead of trying to kill him.

He helped The Genie Team defeat Cobra, helped Juliet beat Jackson Storm in their race, and helped build Tara and Tom's new house.

The Genie Team: A.I.M.G.P.

He founded the A.I.M.G.P. in order to help people who had or hadn't been turned into genies get revenge on those who wronged them.

He helped his friends escape the Crystal Cavern under the A.I.M.G.P. HQ.

He defeated villains like Headridge and Snide with help from his friends.

He freed many genies from the influence of the Aura of Evil.

Noahsworld: The Zahramazing Adventure

He accepted Shimmer and Shine's request to help them save Zahramay Falls from danger.

He collected the Chaos Emeralds and Genie Gems and didn't abuse their power.

He defeated Zala and saved Danny and Abby when they were kidnapped by Zeta.

He returned the Master Emerald back to Samira.

Noahsworld: Tales from Noah and his Friends

He came to San Diego to share his chocolate making knowledge there and possibly to the world as well.

He accepted the deal with Arthur Slugworth in hopes that Arabella would have a better life, though he quickly broke it when he realized the boat to Hawaii was rigged to blow and he was meant to be killed.

Though he broke the deal, Arthur Slugworth had already made it unfair and broke it himself by letting Mr. Bongo and Ms. Crackett keep Arabella in the laundromat for the rest of her life, so this isn't really bad.

He exposed the Chocolate Cartel's crimes to the police and had them arrested.

Amanda's Mermaid Adventures

He helped the Helpful Mermaids to find and reunite himself with Danny and Abby.

He and Danny helped Amanda and the Helpful Mermaids save Mina and Chibichibi from Burton Plushtoy III.

Molly and the M Gang

He stopped Niles and Amber from plotting against him and his friends by trying to punch him in the face.

He protected Danny from the three merbullies and helped the M Gang stop them from stealing a Golden Hand Bell.

He became an actor for Travis' film without hesitation.

What Prevents Him from Being Pure Good?

He acts like a bit of a jerk at times, as he tends to enjoy taunting much of his enemies, Niles especially.

He can be pretty rude, arrogant, and reckless sometimes, leading him to making extremely poor decisions.

He is a bit mischievous, such as when he once hit Ellie with a pie for a joke.

He has moments where he lets his overly secretive behavior get the best of him.

He is very reckless, which can inadvertently cause harm to others.

He is somewhat lethal, as seen when he and Danny beat the life out of two IO Guards, and while they somewhat deserved it for being part of the IO's scheme, Noah still showed clear sadism in doing so.

I. SEALED CHAMBER | Music by Error Sparrow (Vapor) | Digital Art by DarthButcher

Musician Notes: Sealed Chamber is an instrumental ode to the legendary Pokemon of the Gen III pokemon games (Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald), specifically Regirock, Regice and Registeel. It's an ambient, dungeon synth-kinda track meant to capture the mystique of the elaborate quest through Hoenn's secret areas - undersea, underground and elsewhere - that the player undertakes to find all three Regis. The instrumentation is 100% Pokemon RSE soundfont (with some effects and such thrown in).

Artist Notes: Digital watercolor and ink pen using Adobe Fresco on iPad. May has heard the legend of three bionic beasts and finally thinks she has come upon the cave of legend. She has searched far and wide across Hoenn to try to find the entrance and after a series of trials, her quest may prove fruitful. What she doesn’t know is that while she searches for them, they stand alert to her presence ready to pounce when the moment is right. Stylized with inspiration from Ken Sugimori for a watercolor aesthetic, my first time working with the medium.

II. FUCHSIA ZONE | Music by ZeroJanitor | GBA 2D+3D Gif by Aaron (AReallyFrog)

Musician Notes: Inspired by the translucent pink Game Boy Advance model, officially known as the Fuchsia model. Instrument samples are taken from Sonic Advance 3, and the voice samples are from the LingoJam robot voice generator.

Artist Notes: I created this little animation by exporting the frames from Blender, drawing over them in Aseprite, and then exporting them as a gif. I think the gif struggles a little but I’m happy to have gotten to try combining 2d and 3d animation!

III. WHEN THE LEVEE REMAKES | Music by Joey Puricelli (CaptHayfever) | Watercolor + Cross-Stitch Mixed Media by nyankat

Musician Notes: Arr. for voice, jaw harp (x2), shaker, wood handles, bongos, drumkit, & Casio PK-5.

I had the opening lines of the first verse looping in my head for weeks before I finally had time to hash out the rest of it. There really were a metric buttload of remakes on this system; this song cites 38 (though maybe I’m cheating to include Game & Watch Gallery) & that’s just where I stopped researching because I thought I had too much. My nickname for Kirby in verse 3 came from the American NiD commercials, which for some reason used the theme song to the 1960s spy show Danger Man.

Artist Notes: Watercolor on paper and Aida cloth, cross-stitch. As soon as Joey laid out his idea I was inspired to do a mixed-media piece. This is basically a reimagining of the old Pokemon Kanto intro screen, in a forest clearing, with one side cross-stitch/“low res” and the other watercolor/“high res.” I asked Joey what else he might end up referencing besides Pokemon and went from there. (I presented him with a word map before starting the actual design; this piece was an absolute boatload of work. But I’m pleased to say I captured his intended vibe on the first try!) The full piece depicts Nidorino, Kirby, Piranha Plant, and Samus (low res) vs. Gengar, Meta Knight, Baby Mario on Yoshi, and a Metroid (high res). Let me tell ya, stitching on Aida that you’ve already painted is very difficult! But it made for a really cool effect. Thank you for the collaboration (and your patience lol), Joey!

IV. MY INTERNAL BATTERY HAS RUN DRY | Music by Leo ArcanaXIX | Photography by DarthButcher

Musician Notes: My concept for this was to sample sounds from doing a GBA cartridge internal battery surgery and use those sounds as instruments. I took inspiration for the form of the song itself from "Clockwork" from Castlevania: Circle of the Moon, a GBA game with both an internal battery and a banger soundtrack.

Artist Notes: Shot on a Sony a7IV, Sigma 24-70mm f2.8 DG DN, 70mm, 1/40s, f/7.1, ISO 1000. Nothing says cartridge repair more than actually dismantling a cartridge and beginning to conduct surgery. Utilizing photography with a strong key light, contrast of the system on one side and additional cartridges behind it, and some mild post-production to bring out the colors, this piece tells a story of frustration that a beloved game may have seen its last days.

V. LIQUID CRYSTAL | Music by Revolver Project | Digital Art by Marcus Bower (SpriteDude)

Musician Notes: This song began with the intent to write a dark-step inspired drum & bass track using the Game Boy Advance internal synthesis. I set out researching the best homebrew Tracker/DAW for the console, and discovered that my ancient flash cartridge wasn't fully compatible with the majority of them. As a solution, I used a branch of LSDJ which maintained compatibility with the GoombaGB wrapper for GBA.

I opted for a harsh and bright industrial guitar style to compliment the harsh synth and percussion sampling of the GBA, which may sound familiar to older Revolver Project fans. All of the percussion and the majority of the synths were originally voiced using the GBA's internal synth and sample abilities. They were then heavily edited on a PC DAW, into the final sounds you hear. Notable exceptions include some bass sounds, which were created using a semi-modular Behringer Neutron.

I hope after listening to this, you'll be inspired to fire up a GBA and play your favorite Metroid or maybe a racer. Just remember to turn a light on if you're playing on an original model, don't let that LCD stay dark. ☻

Artist Notes: AI was pretty much the perfect match for me, as we’ve worked together many times in the past and we always seem to be on the same wavelength. In fact, he suggested “neon lights and cyberpunk” for the theme of the piece after I had already started drawing just that. Other than that, it’s pretty much just a fast-paced super-foreshortened actiony sci-fi piece. The guy is just a random cyberpunk dude I made up, and the drones are supposed to kinda look like metroids.

VI. ADVENTURE'S END | Music by Monstrman | Acrylic Art by nyankat

Musician Notes: I wanted to make a song that really captured the finality of finishing a game on the GBA. In reality it’s more about the experience of completing all your games in general, but since it’s GBA themed I added some flavor. The intro/outro was written on my guitar first, then I made the rest in my DAW.

Artist Notes: Acrylic on canvas, 8 in. x 8 in. I listened to a very early draft of Tim’s piece, which reminded me of the ending screen of Mega Man 2, where he walks away through different landscapes. This evolved into the piece it is now, with a person facing away from the viewer with a guitar over his back, next to a GBA set on a table and showing the message “Thank you!” I’m not particularly strong in figure drawing, so I asked Tim to pose as a reference, and I think that turned out quite well. I also asked him if he wanted the GBA or the curtains a specific color: The GBA is silver like the one he had growing up, and the curtains are OG GBA blurple. Thank you for the collaboration, Tim!

What are some of your favourite parts/moments about your version of DK family? 🦍🦧🐒🐵

My pal get ready for one of the best moments of my version of the DK Family you will get to know.

Two members of the DK Family, Donkey Kong SR/Cranky Kong and Donkey Kong Junior got into a rocky start were captured by the corrupted circus owner and taken them prisoner and left them abused *Mostly Cranky*. Chaos ensued when the DK Sr escaped and wreaked havoc in New Donk City until confronted by the enigmatic "Mario Sr/Jumpman." Once the Both Sr and Jr were returned home, they were able to live in peace until the Kremling Empire settled on the island across Kongo Bongo Island called, Kremling Island.

Knowing his Grandson Donkey Kong the third will be next in line for the throne, he was distend to put him into amount of training to make sure he and his Allie’s can be the best Clan they could be until he was ready. had a huge grudge aganst Mario Jr because it sets a reminder about his foe Mario Sr and along with Jr's Brother and Sister. Even though they helped him out along with other Kongs sometimes but that didn't make a point.

The Kong Family struggled from tragic events were both Scar Kong and DK Jr disappearing and Wrinkly dying after the "DKC3 arc" Making Cranky's mental state worse than usually. That is why he helped raised his gran and great grankids to be heroes, taught them so hard to not make the same mistakes as he did.

When DK III and Diddy Kong has first single handedly defeated The Kremling Empire at the "DKC1 arc" The DK Clan grew as they contunued over coming threats together as well as that. Even though foes like The Koopa and Kremling Empire *Mostly* kept coming back to invad. The Kong Family will stick together and always be a strong family.

Mario Jr along with DK III might plan to bring Mario Sr and Cranky on good trems one day.

On May 6, 2023, King Charles III and Queen Camilla were officially crowned as the King and Queen of the United Kingdom and other commonwealth realms. After the passing of the late Queen Elizabeth, her majesty's eldest son was expected to be crowned, and on May 6, 2023, it became official.

More than 2,000 people were invited to the coronation, and many of the guests were high-profile guests from around the world. Some of the notable guests were the Crown Prince of Norway, Haakon and Crown Princess Mette-Marit, Prince Radu and Margareta of Romania, Crown Prince Fumihito and Crown Princess Kiko of Japan, Gabon's President Ali Bongo Ondimba and wife Sylvia Bongo Ondimba, King Felipe VI and Letizia of Spain, King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, Prince Albert II of Monaco and Princess Charlene, Grand-Duke Henri of Luxembourg and Grand-Duchess Maria Teresa,Yang di Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong of Malaysia, Letsie III, King of Lesotho, and royals from around the world also attended the coronation ceremony. Swifties around the world were thrilled as Taylor announced the release date of its highly anticipated own version of "Speak Now."

Taylor Swift took to Instagram to announce the release of her own version of the album "Speak Now." With six additional tracks written solely by her, her version of the album will be released in July of this year, and Swifties can’t wait for it.

According to the star herself, "The songs that came from this time in my life were marked by their brutal honesty, unfiltered diaristic confessions, and wild wistfulness. I love this album because it tells a tale of growing up, flailing, flying, and crashing... and living to speak about it."

And as a Swiftie myself who grew up with her music, I also can’t wait for it. If I could just fast forward to the time I would do it, that’s how I'm excited about this coming release of her own version. I can’t wait to listen to her version of my favorite tracks, Enchanted, Dear John, and Back to December, and listen to her newly written songs.

Taylor Swift is one of my favorite artists and will always be. With her great skills in writing and enchanting voice, I can't help but fall in love with her. With this upcoming release, I’m sure not just me but also Swifties around the world are all hyped up and can't wait for it.
