For some reason it seems hard for people to understand a magical fantasy couple in a magical fantasy world outside of real life can have a relationship that's:
Evil (selfish)
Unhealthy
Dark
Morbid
Codependent
Posessive
Obsessive
BUT still be:
Functional
Enjoyable for the couple themselves
FULLY HAPPY
A positive experience for the couple
Just because a certain type of relationship will go a certain type of way in real life, doesn't mean it has to in an excapism fantasy where it wouldn't even need to.
Are Ascended Astarion and my Evil Tav a healthy couple that practice safe boundaries and constructive habits? No, absolutely not. Not at all.
Are they content with one another and able to find complete and utter joy in their union and dynamics in a way that is so overwhelmingly positive for both of them? Yes. And that's the fun of it. Since they don't exist in real life, there's no reason for their story to be tragic unless if I wanted it to be. 🤷🏽‍♀️
Nothing about real life matters in this context because I (as the artist and writer for my character and crafter of her story) am not someone who blurs the lines between fantasy and reality, therefore it is safe to indulge in this fantasy and not have to worry about myself wanting to seek this lifestyle in real life.
It's wild to me that so many seem to want to "protect" people from seeing the content and seeking "that sort of relationship" irl. As if it's some infection that will render people mindless. Why think so little of others? Can they not figure out how a block button works? Can they not block tags and keywords? Can they not remove themselves from posts and conversations that make them uncomfortable? Can they not distinguish real life from fantasy? Can they not research BDSM relationship dynamics for real life on their own?
They have google and access to real world communities for healthy couple dynamics in real life. Just as the rest of us do.
While you shouldn't purposely use a trigger against someone, there is no reason for people to censor themselves for roleplaying something innocent and fun, in the way the game intended.
You can disagree, hate AA all you want and that's perfectly fine. But please stop trying to make everyone else who likes him, hate him too. It's counterproductive, it's selfish, inconsiderate, and sometimes borderline victim blaming (when a great many AA fans themselves have trauma experience as well).
Our Tavs and Durges can have a perfectly imperfect relationship with him, be evil and happy with one another as much as we want them to be, and there's no argument against it that makes it a bad, non-canon, or awful thing.

Commissions Open for Writing and RP
Hello, darlings! I'm currently taking commissions for whump pieces (including/especially nsfwhump) and real-time whump roleplay over Discord!
Not all of my work will include nsfw content, but just to be safe, commissions are only open to readers age 18 and older.
Interested? Read on! (18+ only below the cut)
Who I am:
If we've already met, nice to see you! If we haven't, welcome! I'm Bellamy (he/they), a queer and transgender writer with a dark imagination and a passion for sparking whumperflies. I love writing all angles of whump scenarios, from whumper to whumpee to caretaker, and I have a real knack for getting under your skin and figuring out what's going to take your breath away.
What I'll write:
Broad Content: I especially like to write nsfwhump (that is, whump where the abuse is sexual in context or nature), with an emphasis on whump genre tropes around caretaking, rescue, and recovery. I'm also happy to write sfw whump, as well as the kind of nsfwhump that blurs the line between a whump piece with some sexual content and an erotica piece with some whump content. (If youd like to see the more erotica-leaning version of this ad, you can find it at reddit here. Please note that this is in an 18+ only subreddit.)
Tropes: I’m partial to whump stories that involve a kind of total control over the whumpee’s life – things like kidnapping, imprisonment, non-chattel slavery, pet whump, and BBU-style dynamics are always interesting to me. I love long and complicated recoveries, trauma that feels cyclical, and complicated whumper/whumpee relationships. I also love the kind of whump where something about a character seems to be working against them – for instance, I’m always excited about stories in which the whumpee has powers or abilities that push away or endanger the people they love, or that are used to justify harm coming to the whumpee.
I’m super interested in communication, and I also love fish-out-of-water whump – stories in which a whumpee’s position is further imperiled because of a language or culture barrier are extremely fun and interesting to me.
Kinks: I have a lifelong love of stories centered around non-consent.* Within the fantasy of the commission or roleplay, that could be a fully non-consensual encounter, a consensual non-consent (cnc) kink scene between willing partners, or a scene that happens without consent but leaves the whumpee feeling blissed-out and conflicted. I’m into a wide range of BDSM kinks, and I especially love huge, impossible insertions, overstimulation, gangbangs, cumflation, breeding, monster-fucking, and other kinks that are about pushing the whumpee's limits, physical or emotional. I'm also game if the violence gets extreme. (You want the whumpee's pelvis broken under a giant werewolf whumper? I'm down for that.) I'm also willing to explore some scary identity-based scenarios under some circumstances - for instance, if you're a queer or trans person looking for fantasies of corrective rape or abuse, I'm open to talking more to see if that’s something we can (relatively) safely write together.
And there's a wide variety of kinks that are less central to my experience, but that I would be enthusiastically willing to explore. In general, I'm extremely game to try new things, even if they're taboo; if you have something in particular on your wishlist, let's talk about it! I promise to be non-judgmental about what turns you on and honest about what I think I can write well.
*Note: A word about fantasies of rape and abuse - they're extremely common and normal, both among the general population and among survivors in particular. It's very common for people to eroticize things they're afraid of, or things they're processing. This can be true even if you fantasize about being the perpetrator – brains are complicated! If you're feeling ashamed about this kink, please know that there's no need to be.
Character Types: I can write a broad variety of character types, but I'm especially good at two:
A brutal, bitch-breaking whumper with the strength of a linebacker, the patience of a power-tripping cop, and the eagle-eye for vulnerabilities of a middle-school bully, and,
A resilient, sharp-edged whumpee, cold and clever and sparkling, and shattering like glass when they break.
Those are my favorites, but there's a world of options. Some other favorites include innocent ingenue whumpees that break open at once, oblivious whumpers that do half their damage through neglect, clever and accommodating whumpees who try to survive through harm reduction, and slow, subtle whumpers who feign affection and gentleness while perpetrating violence. I also love, love, LOVE a stoic whumpee.
I've written characters across a broad universe of genders and orientations, and I'm happy to explore whatever identities tickle your fancy. I'd consider queer and trans characters a specialty, and I'm also happy to play with gender with cis characters.
Genres: I'm happy to work with a real-world/modern setting, but I'm also super fond of historical fiction, high fantasy, and sci-fi elements.
Hard Limits:
No underage whumpees. (I know that people sometimes want to write whump and/or erotic content featuring underage characters for some of the same healing/processing reasons I outlined above that can foster an interest in darker stories in general. I’m not condemning that; people heal and grow in a variety of ways, and the choices about how they do so can be deeply complex and personal. I’m just placing a limit on what ideas I’m willing to explore with other people; sexual stories featuring underage characters are not among them.)
No underage clients. I will not write with or for any client under the age of 18, and I will block you if you ask me to. Even if the age of majority in your area is lower than that, I need to make my rules based on the age of majority where I live.
No bad caretakers. For some reason, this is one whump trope I just really can’t get into. I can write imperfect caretakers, and I can absolutely write creepy comfort, but I won’t write a person being deliberately clumsy and unkind while trying to comfort the whumpee. (Accidental mistakes/growing together are different – those are fine.)
How it works:
Consultations: Not sure if you’d like to write together? Set up a free 15-minute new customer consultation! We can chat over Discord about what you’re looking for and whether we’ll be good fits for each other.
Brainstorming: I charge a reduced rate for the time we spend talking about what you’d like, whether we’re planning our roleplay or sketching out the parameters of your commission. The first 30 minutes of talking about details is free; after that, brainstorming together is priced at $20/hour.
Roleplay: I do paid roleplays in real-time for $22/hour. This means that you book time at my hourly rate and we write together over Discord during that time. Of course, you may not always know exactly how long a roleplay will take – that makes sense! We’ll make our best estimate together. If things get exciting and you’d like to go longer, I’ll be happy to accommodate you unless the extension conflicts with another booking. If our time estimate is incorrect, we’ll settle the balance at the end of the session. If we’re writing for more than an hour over our estimated time, I’ll pause to check in and ask you to pay an additional installment to book the extra time.
Commissions: I write commissioned pieces for $0.04/word, starting at 250 words. We’ll agree on an estimated timeline for the piece, beginning at three calendar days. Pending availability, I also offer rush 24-hour turnaround for an additional $35.
Payment: I accept payment via CashApp, Ko-Fi, PayPal, and Venmo. I request payment for half the booking up-front, and you pay the other half at the end.
Other things to know about me:
I've done a lot of research about the ways in which people can use storytelling, especially in the form of sexual fantasies, to process and move through trauma. I'm not a therapist, but I am a survivor of some kinds of abuse and violation myself; I've always worked through my experiences this way, and I'm really interested in the ways that fantasies and playing pretend can put agency and control back in survivors' hands. This interest shows up for me in the area of sexual violence, as well as in the areas of identity-based violence like homophobia and transphobia. If you like to play with fire, please know that you can trust me to play responsibly with you. I'm highly focused on consent, check-ins, and aftercare, especially when I'm writing the whumper. I will take good care of you. That's important to me.
How to reach me:
Elsewhere on the internet, I go by the pen-name James St. Sebastian and write for Shapeshifter Stories. You can reach me via DM on tumblr @much-ado-about-whumping, via DM or chat on reddit at u/jamstseb, via Discord at #shapeshifterstories, or via email at [email protected]. (Of these, Discord is often the most immediate way to reach me.)
Please feel free to message any time, whether I appear online or off; sometimes I may appear busy or offline when I’m already booked up, but I’ll be happy to reply to your message as soon as I’m available.

My favourite trans people are the slightly delusional ones blurring the lines between real life persona and like self insert OC playacting I really love and relate to the autism of making yourself up in your head and making that your reality. This one nonbinary guy on my ig fyp who does roleplay scenarios of himself crossdressing as a girl and it's like fake or stylized but also clearly sincere and personal. It's like a lot of trans people find their identity through fiction and fantasy and I love to continue to embrace fantasy like literally let's play pretend and stylize and play dolls with ourselves and have fun

Hi, I really liked the way you write, I would like to know if you could do some headcanons of him(Perospero) in love with a female Y/N, I know I would have to have a very special connection with him for that to happen, but it would be really cute. (sorry my English is very bad)
Tumblr media
[ Oh, thank you so much! ;O;/ That's super flattering, especially considering the fact that I haven't written anything on here since June... >>x<< !!
My apologies, but I absolutely do not write Y/N stories or Canon/Reader stories.
I know some people enjoy them, and to each their own, but for me, it makes me really uncomfortable to have the lines between real life and fiction blurred. There are many wonderful writers in the OP fandom, but I don't think the roleplay-part of the fandom is the best place to ask for Y/N here stories. Hope you find someone to write for you! Have a good day, and thank you for your kind words! ]

re the rp post you reblogged about highbloods and lowbloods: what are your own thoughts on what they are? do you agree entirely or partially?
ive never actually been involved with hiveswap, itself or friendsim, so i build off of what i remember from the original comics with my own headcanon mixed in. i tend to consider "midbloods" to just be how some trolls casually refer to people in the middle rather than an actual category (i don't use it myself but all my friends do so i take it into account lol), so i was nodding at what lillie said in regards to that. i found the relative considerations of highblood and lowblood interesting, too. i hadn't thought of it in that way before but i think it makes sense.
though i also think there'd be a more official aspect, a legal hemospectrum. i think on an alternian census it would be split straight down the middle, with lowbloods being burgundy-jade (excluding limes) and highbloods being teal-violet (excluding fuchsias). i think it's interesting to consider where violets stand too, because i used to think of them all seen as royalty regardless of their personal connection to the fuchsia line, but a lot of other people i've met in my roleplay spaces disagree, and i ended up adopting that belief myself to a degree. i'll admit the lines kind of blur to me between headcanons for the original text and worldbuilding for my own separate interpretation of alternia, especially since it's been a while since i last reread it properly lol
but yeah, do you have any extra thoughts on this topic?
i pretty much entirely agree with the most i reblogged about the words being relative to where you yourself are on the hemospectrum! although “highblood” will almost always mean purples specifically, if you’re referring to a specific caste, it can also mean anyone above you, same with lowblood
as for midblood… idk, i guess nepeta to terezi is what i would consider midblooded if i HAD to? but generally i don’t feel like midbloods would be a term that makes sense unless you’re an “outside observer” talking “objectively”. if you are a troll just talking about your real life, then there’s people higher than you and people lower than you and that’s about it

ftr i *do* agree that headcanoning historical figures isnt good, i just think that there is also like. a mariana's trench sized gap between that and headcanoning real life people
speaking from my experience in both the mcyt and hamilton fandom (though memories from hamilton, ill admit, are fuzzy at best i was like 12), it kind of just. doesnt have the same impact?
in the case of hamilton, yes, the lines were blurred between history and fiction, but i do remember there was a distinction made when it came to purely facts (with discussion of the actual historical figures kept under the tags historical [insert name here]) and ultimately: no real life consequences on the historical figures involved, though i assume a lot of hair pulling on historians' side.
in the case of real life headcanoning, the issue comes with the fact that the real life celebrities are, more often than not, subjected to seeing it against their will. for the record, i am *not* talking about specifically headcanons or fanfiction written on characters celebrities play (or in my case the very distinct minecraft roleplay characters), but about actual irl headcanons. in the past it's been shown to cause issues (markiplier and jackscpeticeye, every smplive content creator during that era, etc)
tldr, imo the blorboification of long dead guys is miles away from the blorboification of like. jimin from bts
oh mcyt is definitely different, they’re really characters that they made up, it’s all an act, that’s not what i was talking about.
i’m aware that celebrities see it (like Jimin from BTS) and are going to see it i just think it’s gross,
me i’m the hair pulling historian if you couldn’t tell, i will say do like the songs i’ve only listened to a few but they are good

Otherlink vs Otherkin
I know what it looks like, but that's not what this post is about. I actually want to try to start to stablish the differences between otherkin and otherlink with focus on the origins instead of what can or can't be done. Meaning, this will be a post about whether your nonhumanity/fictional identity is voluntary or involuntary.
While I do not consider myself to be an expert on otherkinity and my own experiences with otherlinking might be or not be the norm, I still believe I could be able to help with some of my observations within the alterhuman community. The thing is, otherlinkers don't truly have a specific narrative and while this could be problematic if it results in elitism, it also means that nobody knows how a typical otherlinking experience is. Thanks to that, it is normal for many inside and outside this group to not know how it is "supposed to be like".
However, this isn't what this post is about. Instead, I will discuss about what it means to have a voluntary and an involuntary alterhuman identity.
Before I go for the actual topic, I will talk about another part of the alterhuman community that I used to be part of: plurals. The reason why I'm doing this is because plurals have those that were born or had traumatic experiences that resulted in them becoming more than one person inside their body whether they liked it or not. This can and usually does cause many issues for these types of systems, but with a lot of work they can become more functional and able to have a good relationship between them. These are usually called endogenic and traumagenic systems.
Then, we have those who cause their own plurality usually by roleplaying, creating stories, acting and sometimes because they truly wanted to have another person sharing their brain for whatever reason. While it is very possible for them to acquire toxic relationships inside them, this is far more uncommon because they tend to be prepared for their new headmate and actually want them to be there with them. They're called the parogenic systems.
As you can see, having the presence of voluntary/involuntary alterhuman experiences is nothing new and it doesn't make any of these experiences invalid. The headmates within traumagenic systems are as real as the ones in endogenic systems and also as much of living beings as the people living in the parogenic systems. All of them are alive and must be respected as people with thoughts, feelings, dreams, history... No matter how or why they came to exist.
Similarly, otherlinkers and otherkin/fictionkin must acknowledge who they are as real. How they came to be is irrelevant in this aspect, except for the kinds of help their communities will be able to provide.
While we don't have a clear understanding of what otherlinkers need, we know that this division is very useful for plurals. Traumagenic systems need a lot of help to deal with triggers, life stressors and their own headmates along with many other things I don't even know about. Endogenics might need some of these, but mostly to be acknowledged for who each one of them are. Parogenics actually need help on how to become plurals (which isn't something that traumagenics/endogenics have to do to become plural, they just are) and how to make sure their relationship isn't causing harm for themselves and the new person/people they are creating.
As you can see, even if all of them are composed of headmates that must be respected as real people, their needs are very different. Some of them want help to adjust to their current state of being while others want to experience the change of being singlet to being plural and to do so in a healthy way. They have the expectation that this will be a positive experience for their lives, so it is no wonder some traumagenic systems do get upset over their existence. How could plurality, a source of pain and problems, become something good for someone else?
This issue usually happens because an individual thinks that plurality = DID/OSDD and actively ignore other ways to exist as more than one person in the body which isn't always classifiable as a disorder. Similarly, we see a lot of discussion on otherkinity and about whether one can become nonhuman. The issue I see here is that many alterhumans have the misconception that one can only be nonhuman if they are otherkin. I'm here to say that this isn't true. One can become nonhuman if they are otherlinkers.
Yes, I said it. A person can become nonhuman. That's what it means to be an otherlinker. You become nonhuman.
Now, how do I know if I was always nonhuman or if I decided to become nonhuman? (Also applies to fictional identities.) This one isn't easy to determine and it might not even be too useful for you. I'd recommend going for otherkin communities if your goal is to get to know yourself as nonhuman and to otherlink communities (that actually needs more members) if your plan is to learn how to experience nonhumanity or if you want to become nonhuman.
However, if that still doesn't satisfy you, I will give a few tips on how to determine if you're experiencing something voluntary or involuntary. You are more than welcome to disagree and to give your own advice on the matter.
1. I used to experience lots of shifts in my life, had past life memories that couldn't be fully explained with my lived experiences, I have body dysphoria related to my identity and/or don't identify as human. However, I chose to call myself [insert identity here]. Am I an otherlinker because I could have chosen not to pay attention to all of that?
Alright, so you're telling me that you had been experiencing nonhumanity since way before you started to identify as an otherlinker and you didn't have much of an choice on that matter? I'd suggest spending some time with otherkin and sharing with them your experiences. Whether it is something voluntary or not, I cannot tell you. You're the one experiencing that, but what you described is a very common thing for otherkin and I believe it would be worth checking this out.
2. I used my fond memories of the past and/or induced shifts to deal with my life circumstances. Does that mean I'm a copinglinker?
Maybe. Did you always had these memories and shifts before you needed to cope with that? If you can tell for sure that you did not, there is the possibility that you are otherkin and using a pleasant part of yourself in order to deal with life. However, if you can't, you could very well be a copinglinker. Don't worry, otherlinkers also can experience memories and shifts.
3. I identify as an OC I created. Am I an otherlinker?
It's kind of a chicken or egg situation here. Did you start to identify as this OC after you created them? If so, was it something you decided to do or was it something that happened naturally? Also, what was your inspiration to create this OC? Were you experiencing very vivid images that seemed to belong to a past far away? Have you been feeling disconnected from your body and this OC's appears to match better as to how you were supposed to look? Were you inspired by something external or internal?
Anyway, these examples I stated were some that I have observed and that appeared to be more involuntary than voluntary in my point of view. While I cannot say for sure if they are otherlinkers or not, I can definitely say that they could benefit from otherkin knowledge. This isn't to say otherlinking wouldn't be useful for them, it's just that there are some signs of involuntarity that I believe to be worth checking.
If there are other examples you can think of and your fingers are itching to type about how it isn't that easy to determine if an identity is voluntary or not, then I probably reached where I wanted to go. It isn't easy to figure out if your identity is voluntary or not and it can be useless to do so. Because of that, it is my belief that it would be more useful if you tried to figure out why you want to be part of one or the other community. What are you looking for?
You see, even the parogenic systems have stories about accidental headmate creation and they're still fit for their label because they did become plural due to their own decisions. Why wouldn't there be cases of otherlinkers accidentally creating their own identities? Or why wouldn't some otherkin experience some degree of a choice in how they deal with their own nonhumanity?
It isn't my intention to blur the lines of what it means to be otherkin and otherlinker. I just wanted to let you know of two things: (1) otherkin and otherlinkers are nonhuman. (2) Figuring out what you want to do with your identity is more useful than trying to fit on either community.
I decided to create this post mostly due to some discussion I've seen on whether being otherkin can come from a choice and... Well, this is my opinion. You can be nonhuman and not call yourself otherkin. Simple as that.

lovers in the night, strangers in the light
Read on ao3
Summary: Seo Injae doesn't like the nosy Han Jipyeong, not until the moment she needed him to meddle.
Rating: T
Word count: 1440
Notes: Title taken from Seori's 'Lovers In The Night': “We could be lovers in the night, we could be strangers in the light, if it's going too fast for you.”
~
I've been a fan of Start-Up since it came out, and got hooked with Injae and Jipyeong after their lone scene together in the finale ㅜㅜ So much chemistry and potential that was only saved for a 30-second scene :( In any case, I wrote a self-indulgent fic a few months back for a friend; it was barely 500 words until I patched it up recently to publish here and on ao3, after being a silent reader of Jinjae fics for so long.
Despite the brevity and straightforwardness of the fic, I hope you enjoy! The fic is under the cut. All mistakes are mine.
At the networking party, Seo – formerly Won – Injae looked visibly uncomfortable conversing with the foreign investor whose hands were getting a little too frisky. She shied at the man's touch, turning away to flinch, but at his beck and call, returned just as quickly, beaming from ear-to-ear like she was never bothered in the first place.
Anyone who knew her would be able to tell that she was faking it.
Han Jipyeong watched from afar, blood boiling at the sight before him. While his instincts were to go after her rescue, the better part of his conscience resisted. After all, it was his meddling that got him tangled up in the long and messy thread of Seo Dalmi and Nam Dosan to begin with, and he's gone through far too much for far too long to wish that misery upon himself a second time. Jipyeong isn't getting any younger, and the true test of maturity, he believes, is to learn when to turn a blind eye.
But he can't stand seeing anybody being touched without their consent. No matter how "normal" this is supposed to be in their line of work, he could never get used to it. And if he himself can't get used to it, how could he expect Injae to?
He shouldn't go after Injae, at least not in the way he's planning to. In the milliseconds passing by, his head tells his feet to stay planted on the ground.
They don't listen.
The moment the foreigner let go of Injae to take a sip of his champagne, Jipyeong was there in a flash, placing a hand gingerly around her waist. She yelped lightly, but seemed to catch on quick: her shoulders stiffened, only for a split second, before completely losing tension at the sight of the blond European man who witnessed the brazen display of affection between the two.
Injae sank into Jipyeong's touch, offering a silent nod of acknowledgment at him. Her dimples protruded as she looked up at her beau for the night, with Jipyeong's own smile following suit. He could swear it was like looking into a mirror.
Then, knowing the businessman couldn't speak their language, she muttered through gritted teeth, "Are you always this nosy?"
Injae's laugh was thick like honey, trying to mask the sharpness of the thinly veiled remark she directed at Jipyeong. It almost scared him just how well she could fake her emotions.
But two can play at that game.
Jipyeong switched his grip from Injae's waist to her shoulder, rubbing circles around it with his thumb. "You can let go if you don't need my help," he whispered.
If Injae was annoyed, she didn't show it, at least not in front of anybody. Instead, she grabbed Jipyeong's hand, intertwined it with hers, and didn't let go the entire night.
Walking out of the noise-filled venue, Injae's blurred purple vision clears, not that there's much to be seen in the dark anyway. One lonely light envelops the otherwise empty entrance, and all she hears at the moment are the cicadas in the night, and the footsteps of somebody following closely behind her. Steam comes out of her mouth as she sighs, realizing how cold it actually is in her sleeveless evening gown.
She had finally let go of Jipyeong's hand, but his suit jacket was wrapped around her body, hugging her exposed shoulders warmly.
"Just so you know, I didn't enjoy a single second of that," Injae snipped.
"Okay," Jipyeong allows, voice tone a little higher than it usually is, indicating that he's not the slightest bit convinced. He's mocking her. Injae almost snarls at him for being so nonchalant about this, for being so cocky, for having the audacity to be amused at the thought of getting her flustered.
But the truth is, she is somehow thankful. Mostly relieved, that out of everybody who could have stepped in, it was him – somebody she already respects, and definitely someone she could even learn to trust, in time.
While they're co-workers at Sandbox, they're also, in some weird unprecedented way, family. Jipyeong was closer to Injae's own grandmother than she was, but it was never an issue for her. In fact, she's glad there's someone to fill her shoes in all the years she was an absentee granddaughter. She's making up for all the time lost now, and as she navigates her way through a normal life with her real family, Jipyeong is present for those moments too.
They don't talk, not as often as they do with Dalmi separately, but they're civil. Because of that, Injae knows Jipyeong did this out of genuine concern for her.
If it were anybody else, she definitely would have caused a scene.
Injae's valet arrives, and the pair made their separate ways. Without so much as a goodbye, there was a quiet agreement between the two of them to forget all about this little roleplay.
The next few days at work were relatively uneventful for Jipyeong, and he doesn't know why he's disappointed.
He half-expected and half-hoped to run into Injae somehow, to feel the same rush that he did during that night, despite the promise that they would never bring it up again. He couldn't even bask in the awkwardness like the masochist that he is, because he never saw her within those days, not even once.
Is she avoiding me? he wondered. And for the better part of those seemingly dead-end days at the office, that was all he could think about.
It wasn't until Injae came running to him the next morning that he realized she wasn't.
"Han Jipyeong!" she called, but he didn't budge. Finally catching up to him, Injae said his name again, this time much more loudly, pulling on his suit before he could even take another step.
Jipyeong turned around, shocked that Injae was even there.
She was out of breath, and he was half-asleep. All-in-all, not a good combination.
Injae cut to the chase. "Dalmi is setting me up with someone," she complained, sounding restless. She's a woman who wastes no time, indeed. With those words hanging in the air, Jipyeong finally had a vague idea as to why she was blocking him in the middle of Sandbox's footbridge.
And that woke him up better than Youngsil ever could.
"I thought you hated me," he quipped, crossing his arms. He's testing the waters.
"I don't hate you," Injae pressed, "I hate that you're intrusive."
Then, she rattled off, "I can usually handle things like this on my own, but Dalmi hasn't stopped with this nonsense and she has been very candid that she has no plans on stopping until she finds the 'perfect guy' for me. I already have enough on my plate as it is, and – "
Injae bit her lip and sighed, embarrassed at the admission of defeat.
Jipyeong finds it endearing.
"Just one day," she begged, eyes sparkling up at Jipyeong. It was the one striking feature that the Seo sisters shared, and he softened once he locked eyes with the older sibling.
He didn't know what else to say, except that he was definitely flattered that Injae thinks Dalmi would stop meddling in her sister's affairs if she presented Jipyeong as her boyfriend.
Boyfriend, he repeated in his head. Seo Injae's boyfriend. It may be an act, but it's rolling off the tongue better than he imagined. He breathed an amused smile to himself, which Injae definitely caught.
She blinked at him with doe eyes as he offered his hand, probably astonished by the fact that her plan (which was barely even a plan, Jipyeong thought. She could at least have given him a pitch) actually worked, but she firmly took the invitation anyway.
They walked to the office in silence hand-in-hand, which, in retrospect, they didn't actually need to do. Jipyeong could try to deceive himself with a rational explanation: maybe they were practicing. Maybe Injae was just excited and got carried away.
Were they still pretending? He didn't care.
What Injae didn't know was that Jipyeong would have dived in headfirst with this crazy plan in a heartbeat, that the way he felt with her at that party was like an itch he couldn't scratch, that he was just waiting for an opening to feel that way again.
What Injae didn't know was that if even if she didn't ask first, Jipyeong would have interrupted her date anyway.
"Hold your head up," he told her in the elevator, his hand still tightly intertwined with hers. "And remember: you can let go if you don't need me anymore."
She didn't.

pls pls pls tell me you guys know the difference between "straight girls fetishizing mlm relationships" and "people are allowed to genuinely enjoy fictional sexy content regardless of whether or not they're the specific demographic partaking in the sexy content" PLEASE tell me you guys understand the difference I'm LOSING MY MIND over the bad tumblr hot take that straight girls are automatically fetishizing just because they like reading/writing/drawing nsfw mlm content but theyRE GIRLS???? HeteRO FEEMALE???? ENJOYING CONTENT THAT DONT INVOLVE GIRLS??? GAAAAASSSSSP
theres absolutely nothing wrong with people enjoying content that is removed from their reality. Not everything NEEDS to be 100% relatable for someone to find joy in consuming it. can you even imagine if you switched it around and did that to lgbt people? “oh, you are a homosexual? sorry but you simply are not allowed to enjoy this straight romance because it. is. not. for. you.” or “oh, you are trans? you cannot, under any circumstances, consume this cis fiction you buffoon.”
bro! that would be so dumb!
Gay people can enjoy straight romances and straight people can enjoy gay romances. Hell, we should be ENCOURAGING people to seek out and expose themselves to stories and art that depict things they cant personally relate to. That’s one of the easiest and quickest ways for people to come to understand and respect other viewpoints, dingus.
Fiction is a beautiful and magical thing that has the ability to open minds to people and their lifestyles. And sex is and always should be something that we dont have to hide in a sealed box under our beds! There is nothing dirty or shameful about sex between two consenting adults and we need to stop setting up these fences to keep people from straying into territory that "doesnt belong" to them.
Fetishization is real and it does exist in fandom. But the internet has blurred the line between fetishization and genuine enjoyment to the point that these purity warriors cant tell the difference anymore. It's sad and its harmful and its yet another way to make people feel ashamed of themselves and too scared to join in on fandom, which is supposed to be FUN.
Learn what real fetishization is. Learn to distinguish it from the rest and take time to educate the people that do it. Because I'll bet that so much of the so-called "fetishizers" are speaking and acting from a place of ignorance and not any real malicious intent. they’re most likely young and just parroting whatever it is they’re seeing online. and we should always, always aim to educate before attacking
here are just a few, but fairly common, examples of real fetishization:
- calling gay people “sinful little babies” or anything long the lines of infantilizing and sexualizing in the same breath
- only caring about the sexual aspects of an lgbt character or real life person
- obsessing over whether someone is a “top” or “bottom” (and fighting with others when they disagree with you CMON that’s both gross and childish)
- basing someone’s “role” in a sexual relationship on heteronormative aspects, such as femininity or masculinity
- harassing real life people about anything sexual, especially if they are an lgbt person who you are trying to force your fantasy on (just don’t ever ever ever ever think to do this what is wrong with you people, leave them alone)
- using slurs. just. don’t. even if it’s in a teasing/affectionate way. just don’t. unless you are lgbt and taking back a specific slur attached to your gender/sexual identity, just don’t do it man
- being explicitly sexual and inappropriate in situations that don’t call for it (yo, if you wanna roleplay some raunchy stuff then find some consenting adults to partake in private. don’t come at people in a public space and start throwin out porn)
- pressuring writers/artists to write/draw porn???? this is wrong in multiple ways??? do not comment on a creator’s work with “make them fuck” or “when are they gonna have sex????” what is WRONG with you people (also, this isn’t necessarily a fetishization thing but don’t tell a writer/artist who does write/draw nsfw stuff about how you masturbated to their creations. it is pretty much guaranteed to make the creator uncomfortable and it’s just bad manners, thanks)
in conclusion, consume or create whatever fiction you want, babes, just keep in mind how straying one way or another could turn into fetishization and make a lot of people feel uncomfortable.
more than that though, if you stumble across someone online who says/writes/draws stuff that makes you personally uncomfortable, do not attack them. block them.
it’s quick, it’s easy, it’s stress free
stay safe, friends 🖤

post the explanation itll be funny -🌱
Okay so this is probably going to be really long but like essentially what is happening in the dreams (there's been a series of them) is mojang creates this new version of minecraft that's basically like a simulation of Minecraft but in real life. Kinda like VR except like, you are actually in there. They sponsor what is essentially the next season of hermitcraft to take place in this simulation except like also mojang is inviting other people. I do not know what the criteria for this is or who all they invite but I know I'm there for some reason 👁👄👁 on the day of the series launch I obviously have no idea what I am doing and get invited to go along with Wels and Beef, which I agree to. This is somehow the worst decision I have ever made in a dream despite it seeming perfectly reasonable.
You see, it turns out Wels was a part of the early test players for an early version of this simulation, which was, at the time, compatible with normal servers, meaning that his season seven, unbeknownst to his audience, was filmed in this simulation. And at some point during this testing, he fucked up majorly by way of actually cloning himself for what was supposed to be a bit with Beef's cloning machine. No one quite knows what Hels is but he behaves like some sort of sentient AI, one that is not particularly happy to have been brought into existence at that. Obviously this would be bad pr for Mojang, Wels, and maybe hermitcraft as a whole, considering the questionable at best ethics of the whole thing, and so Wels, Mojang, and X basically come to an agreement to keep the whole thing quiet, play it off as some lore Wels made for his series. This is overall a good move for their publicity, considering the fan base loves Hels and they managed to stay out of trouble, but it is certainly not a move Hels is a fan of, and he is further not a fan of the fact that at the end of season seven he is abandoned in the season seven server 💀
So uh, to say the least, he fucks around and finds his way into the new server, pissed, and with an unknown amount of access to Mojang's servers. This is bad news, obviously, and it is worse news that no one knows he did that. He is in there undetected and quickly going to follow after Wels. At which point he realizes a) there are new people around b) I am one of them and I am just an entire teenager and c) I am following Wels around. So, uh, he decides okay time to start causing problems on purpose.
We go into a cave. Hels follows. We split off into seperate caverns at some point and this is an overall bad decision for me considering I quickly find myself in a dead end cave with mr evil ai clone helsknight, who is considerably scarier when he looks like a real person rather than a little pixel minecraft man. I do not remember what he said but I know he decided to be an intimidating asshole and then disappear back into the cave. So I'm like 👁👄👁' and Wels walks in a second later like hey did you run into someone I thought I heard voices and I lie bc like WTF and I make up an excuse to leave the cave and instantly get as far away as possible from that fucking cave.
Fun fact about this series though, the whole thing is being live streamed, basically 24/7, like you can turn your camera off whenever you want cause like. Privacy. Obviously. but essentially you're streaming almost the entire time you're in there. Fancy cameras and shit. And like you still have access to twt and shit while you're in the simulation cause like why not gotta interact with the fan base and all. So obviously Wels fans are like 👁👁 Hels Content. Lore 👁👁. They're loving it. So obviously Wels starts to notice the sudden influx of Hels fanart with the new kid who disappeared halfway through the first day and eventually he sees the fucking clip and is like Oh Shit. That's really fucking bad and it gets worse when I have to start answering questions about that interaction and I'm like yeah, no, that was not planned in advance. My permission was never asked to be a part of that interaction 👁👄👁. So now there are some questions and Wels and X and Mojang are all like how the fuck do we make sure this doesn't become a problem. And essentially things just get worse from there <3
I talk to Wels thinking that that was some kind of prank after the fandoms reaction and he was like fully prepared to have to come clean about Hels being real so as soon as I say that he's like Yep! Definitely A Prank. Sorry about that! Will not do it again! But obviously that does not stop Hels from continuing to be an asshole. There are some arguments. Wels comes clean thinking everyone's cameras are off. They are not. The fandom is split between people who are like so hyped for this meta helsnknight lore and people who are like uh I'm not sure if this is lore anymore guys 👁👄👁. I try to leave the server. Hels locks everyone in the fucking server. Hels cuts off communication between the people in the server and the outside world other than the streams. Mojang is trying to play it off as role-play shit on twt while they desperately try to figure out WTF is happening and how to fix it. The fandom is growing increasingly concerned and there's discourse about if making fan content of what's happening in the server is ethical considering the ambiguity of the realism of the situation. Hels is trying to egg me into helping him destroy the server with everyone in it bc we're both mad at Wels and he's gonna fuck shit up either way so I might as well help him and get out at the end instead of going down with the ship. I am not yet convinced but I am getting fucking tired of all this shit <3
And yeah that's about where it's at. Uh. I probably would not do any serious writing or anything based off these dreams since the concept kind of blurs the line between CCs and their roleplay characters and also uh I feel like mojang might not appreciate the slander there but like it's been a fun series of dreams and I also just enjoy the concept of Hels going from being like a silly asshole to a serious threat and the kinda metaness of it all so-

I read your tags under the last post and you did that as a teen? Thats messed up
hi anon! i don't know what's the tone of your question, whether you think it's messed up i was doing it and now i'm protecting minors from repeating the same bad experiences and mistakes or whether me being talked/convinced into writing and consuming written erotica was messed up. i'll clarify some things and put them under the read more to avoid triggering anybody.
tw: underage sexual activities, grooming, manipulation.
i've mentioned it a few times, but long before i wrote fanfictions, i was roleplaying. by roleplaying, i mean creating characters or writing as characters, basically writing fanfiction but with someone or multiple writing partners at a time. i was 11 or 12 when i started on a french platform and interacted with god knows who. i was around 13-14 when i started roleplaying on facebook and on tumblr. it was not super uncommon for minors and teenagers to do this, especially on facebook. we were a bunch of lonely antisocial teenagers living high school drama both in real life and online. there was massive amounts of lies, manipulation, bullying and so on. but to many, including me, it was the only way to make "friends", some were genuine friendships others were absolutely terrible. i first wrote smut in a roleplay on facebook with someone who was finishing college (my education system is different from america, college means high school and university and even pre-university programs and i could only assume it was the same for her). we wrote our stuff, she was very rude about my typos and my limited vocabulary but i did not question too much out of it, i just thought she was smarter (again because i assumed she was the same age as me). eventually, we got into writing smut. i was aware of the "fading to black" technique, which is what you do when you skip from a scene that gets heated to what happens after the action and in my reply, i faded to black. she asked me to rewrite it, she wanted to do the sex scene because it was "important for character development", it wasn't, she just needed something to satisfy whatever the fuck she needed to satisfy. now i can look back and understand that, but back then i had no idea. so we wrote that scene. the entire time i felt extremely uncomfortable and i kept apologizing and delaying my reply until she completely disappeared on me and blocked my account, seemingly because i wasn't fun to write with anymore.
another facebook experience occured a year or two later. i was 15, i've had some rough encounters with other rpers who held a big place in my personal life too so i was very vulnerable. i came across this girl who never told me anything regarding her age and her personal life, while constantly asking me questions about mine. we wrote this couple, she constantly forced me into writing smut. i'd suggest new date ideas, new plot twists, new settings, anything just to avoid writing sex scenes for the 5th time in the same day. she told me "you'll like it, you'll get better at it when you practice, i'll tell you how it works, it's gonna make you feel good too". so i kept writing with her, i had no other friend at that time so i thought that if i did what she demanded me to do to, she'd stick around and like me. we wrote sex scene after sex scene, we added pregnancy plots, a forced pregnancy even, i was incredibly uncomfortable. i made a different account, i tried to escape her but i couldn't. she had around 5 or 6 accounts where she would go around and find young partners to write with. she had a friend who did the same. there was nowhere to go. i eventually ghosted the previous account we wrote on together and focused on my new character. she was gaining a bit of traction, i met someone there too. we became friends instantly. i was 16 when this new person and i decided to talk more "out of character". we got to know each other, we became best friends and we still are today. we were writing so many different plots and relationships, but they were always respectful of the boundaries we both set. when i turned 18, she finally brought up this previous person who manipulated me into writing smut. she said she had met her, years before me. she was, too, talked into writing sex when she was around my age. we both found out this other person was a 35 years-old woman, a creep, who hunted down our roleplay community to write smut with us, teens and kids. she made us believe it was okay, that she'd "teach us the way". she'd gaslight you and manipulate you into getting what she wanted. there were stories going around that were even crazier than mine. i was manipulated into writing sex with someone twice my age when i was still a teenager. for the longest time, i avoided writing smut, even in roleplays. it took me years to work the courage to write smut again, to develop sex headcanons for my characters in roleplays. i wrote smut with my best friend, whom i trust with my whole life, once or twice and she always insisted we stopped if i were uncomfortable until we just stopped altogether and focused on headcanons and other fluffy ideas rather than fully fleshed out written erotica.
i was reading smut, i was consuming porn, i was on tumblr this whole time and that was before the grand purge of adult material. it was different, in a way, because i was choosing to consume such things. but still. i was like 14 and seeing dicks and pussies out in the wild on tumblr. i had no interest in relationships, in dating, in sex even and i was seeing all of this. i was learning that if you wanted others to desire you, you had to be like the girls on porn videos, you had to do all kinds of crazy things and let (mostly) men take advantage of you because that's hot.
all of that just to say...
IT FUCKS YOU UP. it just fucks you up. it makes you think you're not normal, it makes you think you're weak, you're immature, you're just not cool enough. it makes you think you owe sexual favours to other people. it makes you think your sexual desires are just something people can play with so they can get what they want. i've come a long way. i've learned about my own sexuality a lot. i'm still very insecure in real life, but this blog has allowed me to explore my own desires and fantasies in a safe way, following my own boundaries. it might not seem like much to you. but it was a lot to me. i was hiding this from everybody, my only escape from real life was becoming as toxic as real life itself. the lines were blurred between online and reality. i became scared of people. i thought they were all like the other girls who were full on adults taking advantage of KIDS to write sex. they didn't care if it sucked, they got off from it.
being a blog that is 18+ is not just for aesthetic. it's not just to be cool and act like we're more mature. IT'S A SAFETY FOR BOTH US, AND YOU. we want to avoid that minors fall into traps and rabbit holes. we want to avoid minors from constructing their sexualities around what is clearly fake. FAN FICTION IS FICTION but it can impact your real life, especially when you're young and unexperienced.
i am a firm believer that 18/21 and other ages of consent are NOT magic numbers. you don't suddenly become "mature" at the second you turn 18. they are just minimum age requirements that can allow both you and us some sort of safety. you can be 15 and sexually experienced. you can be a 35 years-old virgin and more sexually experienced than your average person. but that doesn't mean you can't respect other people's boundaries and lurk on their blog while being a minor. you are exposing yourself to things you shouldn't be exposed to at your age.
PROTECT YOURSELF. PROTECT OTHERS. RESPECT EVERYBODY'S BOUNDARIES.

Why are you okay with writing non-con?
*Trigger warning*
It has more to do with the fact that a large number of fics and stories, specifically found on AO3 and Wattpad, are centered around the more “dark fantasy” aspects of relationships.
I don’t condone these relationships, and I want to make that clear. As a psychologist, these are real traumas that affect people every day and I will never believe non-con/rape is romantic or cute, or hell, a character trait/development to make the story more interesting without the proper knowledge and understanding when it comes to real-life people who suffer from the trauma related to these acts.
However, something I’ve noticed in many of these fanfics across the web they deal with what many believe is “dark fantasy,” meaning non-con fits underneath that category. Specifically in more “darker” fandoms, or simply, “darker” areas in the fandom. Non-con sex is a real kink that people enjoy (but I guess the lines are blurred since most non-con fantasies are actually consensual just a pretend fantasy between individuals). It’s hard to grasp honestly, and I get why people are confused to believe non-con is okay to write.
For example, on AO3 there is a tag specifically dedicated to the idea of rape and non-con acts.
Tumblr media
And a majority of these are a huge hit among readers strangely enough. Again, it’s hard to pinpoint why so many people enjoy these types of stories, especially with their favorite character or celebrity, but it does happen. People find it, in many ways, a kink, (now I say that very loosely because kinks are in fact CONSENSUAL) but it bleeds into this idea of dark fantasy.
Again, I am in no way condoning real-life rape and non-consensual sex. This is fake, fantasy, and strictly for those that enjoy it. (This might be off-topic, but I truly believe this is why a large number of toxic relationships end up dominating the media because the fantasy of it is thrilling for some people.)
There are such things as Rape Fantasys for some people, it’s roleplaying. And not to get scientific or anything, but 62% of women end up having a rape fantasy at some point in their life (Link). And this is more of a guesstimate, but it’s pretty probable that a high number of these women have never been sexually assaulted.
It’s not for everybody, and I know that many people find it disgusting, especially those that have experienced real-life trauma. I don’t condone it, not in real life at least, but in fantasy? I don’t mind it.
I know a large population of those in fandoms are interested in these types of things which is why I left the option open.
This was a long post, but I had to give the background on why since this is such a heavy issue. If you still have a problem with it, it’s fine. You don’t have to forgive me or give me a pass to write this sort of stuff. But hopefully, I cleared it up enough that you can briefly understand.
If you have more questions my ask box is always open.

Thoughts on Nightingaleria’s thread? While I agreed about how unhealthy it was for Jared and Holly to blur the line between DnD roleplay and real-life romance, there is a lot about that thread I disagree with (ignoring that Heidi was complicit in the nudes blog, that there is more evidence of abuse on Heidi's part than Jared's, that Heidi has been the one deeming people undeserving of dignity and boundaries because they're alleged abusers, etc)
First things first, this is the part where I have to confess that I'm yet to watch/listen to a single episode of DCA.
Tumblr media
It's always been in my "stuff to check out one day" pile, but I never got around to checking it out. :/ So I can't really comment on what went on during the game itself, since my knowledge of the plot and character interactions are extremely limited....to literally no knowledge.
One thing that did stand out to me is the Twitter thread put a lot of weight on Jared and Holly "weaponizing" their fans to keep the in-game relationship going. To my understanding, anybody into DCA would have seen a story about the characters they created having a relationship, nobody knew about the problems going on in the players' personal, out-of-game relationships. If Heidi attempted to set boundaries at that point, the fans would have been none the wiser unless one of them went public about it....like Heidi did last year.
There was also a lot of emphasis on Heidi not being the money-maker in the marriage and not having the fanbase that Jared and Holly had, with the idea that she had no power/Jared and Holly had all the power over her. I would argue that she had quite a lot of power, using the very thing people say Jared and Holly had over her--Heidi had the ability to take out both of their careers by telling the public about a relationship that not even their biggest fans knew about before then.
I don't know if that actually answers your question. Again, my knowledge of how they interacted during DCA is basically non-existent. But hopefully I at least partially answered it?

BnHA Chapter 171: Knock Them Dead With Your Sound
Previously on BnHA: Deku and Mirio visited Eri in the hospital. Eri apologized for everything they went through in order to save her, particularly Mirio who lost his powers. Mirio told her it wasn’t her fault and that everyone was just glad she was safe, and they all wanted to see her smiling face. Eri tried to smile but couldn’t quite manage it. Deku racked his brain for ways to cheer her up, and struck on the idea of inviting her to the cultural festival. Aizawa said he’d need to ask the principal but that it could probably be arranged. After Mirio explained the concept, Eri agreed, saying that she wanted to get to know everyone better. We then cut to the police, who were watching a live broadcast of a convenience store robbery and trying to trace its source. The robber, a gentleman thief named -- wait for it -- Gentle, took out six heroes in the blink of an eye and then left without taking any money. He said he wanted his name to be etched into history, and as he met up with his accomplice afterwards, he pondered what his next great exploit should be.
Today on BnHA: We are properly introduced to Gentle and his social media-savvy adoring fan La Brava. Gentle specializes in “chivalrous crimes” that target corruption. However his recent videos haven’t been as popular, in part because Stain and the League of Villains have been stealing his thunder. Back at U.A., word begins to spread about class A’s band performance and dance program. Bakugou overhears some grumps complaining about how cocky 1-A is and how they’re the ones who “start all the conflict.” That evening the kids meet to hash out who will be in charge of what. Jirou needs a drummer, and it turns out Bakugou plays drums, but he’s pissed at the idea of being obligated to provide stress relief for the other departments. As he puts it, “we aren’t getting smacked down by the villains because we enjoy it.” Instead he reframes the whole thing as a battle, and vows to knock U.A. dead with his sound. I mean, whatever works I guess. Meanwhile Gentle reveals to La Brava that he’s planning a new stunt which will surpass anything Stain or the League has done: he plans to invade U.A.
(As always, all comments not marked with an ETA are my unspoiled reactions from my first readthrough of this chapter. I’ve read up through chapter 198 now, so any ETAs will reflect that.)
lol
Tumblr media
LIVING LAWLESS. all about that THUG LIFE
okay so the narrator, whom I assume is Gentle, is talking about people who have left their marks on history
Tumblr media
you’re telling me there’s a hero out there simply known as “Brave”? I know we already had a Mr. Brave, and I can tell you right now he has left his mark on absolutely nothing. so that means there’s another guy out there named Brave, so Mr. Brave, your hero name is even lamer than I thought. WHY DIDN’T YOU JUST GO WITH SPLIT END
ooooohh!
Tumblr media
oh my god. I want to know everything about all of these guys right the fuck now. particularly Destro. “special abilities liberation army” sounds a lot like a Magneto type “mutant rights” type of thing. there’s an era that we still don’t know much about right after quirks first started appearing on the scene, and it fascinates me and I want to know more about what it was like. because I have some fic ideas about that time period tbh. Destro, I’m definitely making a note of you
so now the narration is talking about how before the present systems were established, the lines between heroes and villains were blurred and it was an age of chaos
honestly this all sounds incredibly badass, like a superpowered wild west
and Gentle seems to agree, saying it was an age of pure freedom
this guy really feels what he’s doing, huh
Tumblr media
the gentle, soothing, cuddly criminal. when he’s not out doing Crime, he makes ASMR roleplays in his spare time. “sleep-inducing bank robbery 🌙 (whispered/soft-spoken)”
he’s walking over to La Brava now and she says that their account got deactivated “again”, so she just finished uploading all of their videos to a new account
fucking 2010s manga though, you guys!!
and apparently that narration was from his debut video, which she was rewatching and swooning over just now
so he’s going to finish his cup of tea and then they will get on to today’s filming
oh my fucking god
Tumblr media
you don’t understand guys. he’s really a man of the people. he’s on your side! handing out punishments to “those who do not act gentlemanly.” protecting them all from the horrors of expired pudding
oh my god you guys La Brava is the cutest ever I swear to god
Tumblr media
how is she so cute though??
she’s frustrated because the jstore robbery video didn’t get that many views
but Gent says they’re not in it for external validation
she’s really mad though because she says it’s been 6 years since he’s been active as “the villain of the media world”
and apparently when Stain came along and went viral he stole all their views
Tumblr media
yes but you have to admit they are super compelling though. I miss them, actually. where are they
(ETA: for real, they’ve been way too quiet recently and it’s starting to make me pretty nervous)
Tumblr media
did you read that car chase chapter, though. “spectacle” indeed
he says his style is the opposite of that, but nonetheless it can’t be denied that they have momentum
he says all of the 10,000+ comments on their videos concern that violent behavior
are you sure some of the comments aren’t also shipping Toga and Twice. or theorizing what’s up with Tomura’s hands. or talking about how badass Compress’s new metal arm is. honestly they have a lot going for them, man
lmao
Tumblr media
WAY TOO MANY JUMP CUTS
I also agree with the guy saying La Brava deserves more of the spotlight. she’s so great
Gent is letting loose with a hearty laugh and says he won’t be discouraged though, and that his next project will surpass even theirs
that is a tall order, sir. Tomura’s most recent act was a great service to humanity. all I’m saying is, you better not hype me up like the last new villain only to let me down, because don’t even get me started on that shitshow
so La Brava is all excited and asking what the next project is, and Gent is responding with a bunch of cryptic bullshit
Tumblr media
so I guess we’re going to find out more about the history of heroes and when they became an established thing, huh? I’m 1000% on board with this and I may actually be even more excited for this than for the upcoming class 1-A rave, negl. good job getting this manga back on track, Horikoshi!
(ETA: I’m so thick, he’s clearly just talking about U.A. here lol)
so now we’re cutting back to U.A. and Vlad (who I almost called “Brad” again, it’s been so long) is talking to Aizawa about the cultural fest, and he’s all “so I heard class A is doing a rave huh?”
interestingly, this seems to be one of the rare occasions where Aizawa doesn’t seem to be 100% on board with their hijinks
Tumblr media
stfu Aizawa. what’s more admirable than a fucking rave
now we’re cutting to the always adorable children of class A who are excited to plan their festival program
and some shadowy person is coming up to Bakugou and is all “did you hear?”
oh no wait they’re not talking to him, they’re talking to each other about class A right in front of him
um, whoa
Tumblr media
y’all trying to start some shit, huh? gonna talk shit about his class when they’re trying to do something fucking nice?? like it’s their fault they keep getting attacked by fucking villains? okay then. hey on an unrelated note, go fuck yourselves
so are these guys just assholes or is this really what the rest of the school in general really thinks? because I can see why they might not exactly have a favorable impression of them, truth be told. Bakugou’s stunts at the sports festival didn’t exactly paint them in the best light. and most likely everyone has made the connection between the kidnapping and Kamino and the student dorms. and probably it’s not much of a secret who the two kids who were caught fighting on Ground Beta after hours were, either. so yeah
but it’s still a dick move to come and do this right in front of him when he’s not bothering you or anything, so fuck you still, and I will come over there and fight you if I have to, don’t think I won’t
fuck. well anyway, while I’m here grumbling and trying to take deep, calming breaths, we’re cutting back to Heights Alliance, and Iida is taking charge of a planning session
first they need to decide on the music, so Jirou is suggesting genres
she says they really should be doing EDM if the intent is to play dance music, but on the other hand everyone seems set on playing instruments. lol it would be funny though if everyone took turns DJing
so she’s asking if anyone in class plays bass or drums, and is met with a dead silence
she says she plays guitar mainly, so her drumming is only so-so. and she says that if she has to teach a beginner how to play drums then one month is not going to be enough time
OH MY GOD
Tumblr media
I don’t fully understand what’s happening but ARE YOU IN FACT IMPLYING THAT MY SON KATSUKI KNOWS HOW TO PLAY DRUMS OH MY GOD. KATSUKI ARE YOU GOING TO BE IN A ROCK BAND!?
apparently the answer to that question is YES because class A knows all too well exactly how to manipulate him
Tumblr media
MASTER OF PUPPETS I’M PULLING YOUR STRIIIIIINGS
lmao and JUST LIKE THAT
Tumblr media
TOO EASY
holy shit. and it seems like he actually does know what he’s doing as well. go figure, he is good at virtually everything after all
Tumblr media
well, this is everything I never knew I wanted. good show. excuse me for a moment, I’m gonna go play Song 2 by Blur and wonder what the season 4 OST is gonna be like
now he’s trying to walk away again lol
Tumblr media
this is really just an open invitation for someone to come up with a convincing enough reason for him to do it without losing face
although part of me also wonders if maybe he would just rather not be in the spotlight for once. especially after overhearing those JERKFACES from the department of GENERAL JERKS earlier
oh my god Jirou
Tumblr media
come on Kacchan don’t you want to be a good person?!
oh shit now he’s going on a tangent
he says nothing’s going to come of it
Tumblr media
ahhhhhhhh. I see. so it’s that he’s pissed off at the other departments and doesn’t feel like they deserve class A’s niceness
ahhhh but Jirou looks crushed ;_;
Tumblr media
Hagakure is kind of awkwardly being all, “hey, c’mon...”
but Bakugou says that what they’re doing is just “indulging the enemy”
and when exactly did it become Us vs Them though, I wonder. like, if the other classes are the enemy, that implies that your class is Not The Enemy though, yes? aww
oh shit. ohhhhh shit
Tumblr media Tumblr media
oh my. and I didn’t even order any Bakugou feels. “yes, we know,” Horikoshi says, holding out the delivery bag. “these are on the house. please accept our gratitude on account of being such a loyal customer”
oh shit you guys. so what do I even do with these. should I meta about them or should I just eat them while they’re still hot
lol, but yeah. “I didn’t ask to be kidnapped. we didn’t ask to be attacked.” people acting like it’s their fault and like they’re enjoying the attention. and maybe once upon a time he did want that, but it’s one thing to fantasize about being famous for being the number one bestest coolest hero, and quite another to wind up actually in the spotlight because you’re the kid who keeps getting attacked by sludge monsters and Villain Leagues. and then people act like you brought it on yourself because you were too cocky. especially when we know that on some level he does blame himself, so it stings all the more
so why should they go out of their way to try to support people like that? it’s almost like they’re apologizing to those assholes, and fuck that
mmm. [munching] so anyway let’s see where this leads
Tumblr media
hahaha. what
Tumblr media
oh my god this fucking kid
lol. okay so he is on board, then, but just to make it ABSOLUTELY CLEAR, he is not out to “support” anyone, but rather he is declaring war. via drums. that’s right
well hey, however you need to frame it! at the end of the day he has agreed to help, so!
the other kids seem to be on the same page as me lol
Tumblr media
yep. WE’LL TAKE IT
JIROUUUUU
Tumblr media
;_____; I LOVE YOU SO MUCH JIROU
and now we’re cutting back to Gent and OH MY GOD
Tumblr media
CAN YOU PLEASE. NOT
JESUS CHRIST. CAN THEY NOT JUST HAVE JUST ONE FUCKING THING. LET BAKUGOU DECLARE A DRUM WAR AND LET JIROU SHARE HER MUSIC WITH EVERYONE AND LET ERI HAVE A GOOD “DATE” WITH HER DOTING BIG BROTHER MIRIO AND LET THEM JUST RELAX WITHOUT ANY VILLAIN ANTICS
goddammit. I mean like, Gentle’s idea of villainy would probably be to whip out a violin and challenge them to a classical battle of the bands. but even polite villain antics are really not going to be good for U.A.’s PR at the moment. and this guy films everything he does. and just. we don’t need this sob
BONUS:
Tumblr media
everyone this is Agoyamato Tsutsutaka and Togeike Chikuchi. that’s literally all this is. just their names. did we really need to know this lol oh well

I am going to vent for a hot minute about an issue in roleplay. One, I have seen one too many times, in the recent two years. It is always a thing but...stares. I am still going to talk about it. This is going to be A Time.
This may be controversial. I do not expect people to agree or even read and I do know that I may be wrong or unreasonable.
I understand that roleplay is an escape from reality. I understand that it helps people a lot, in times of strife and whatnot. But. There comes a point where it’s incredibly unhealthy when the line between real life and roleplay is blurred when people get overly invested to the point it’s harming them and others. And... they start being guilt-trippy and passive-aggressive, towards others. Neither things are acceptable. For there is a person behind the screen who does NOT deserve to be faced with such disrespect. They behave as though their character is writing themselves and they did nothing. In that disconnect, it’s UNHEALTHY. In such behavior, I’ve seen blatant disregard towards using trigger warnings when it is NEEDED.
But seriously. There needs to be a clear distinct line between real life and roleplay. The unrest is NOT worth it.
The beauty of roleplay is that anything can happen. The beauty of roleplay is that you have the power to go, right, this isn’t going to happen anymore because I said so. The beauty of roleplay is that people are willing to communicate in collaboration. They are kind. They will understand if something makes you uncomfortable and you just don’t want to continue it. Anything can be retconned.
It doesn’t have to be difficult. It really doesn’t. Roleplay is meant to be a hobby and for enjoyment. But the moment it starts affecting someone along with their partners, negatively, then it’s an issue.
This is definitely why I’ve been around here more, and more lately. I am getting tired of this behavior, elsewhere. My tolerance for the drama that comes from it, is no longer high.
