What do you think about shoutmon and his blue yellow and black counterparts?

reminds me of those toys made in china that had the same molds and different colors, but the real question is are they all different elements based on there color or are they just the same powers with the same name?

What if in xros wars Mikey had. Shoutmon Shoutmon yellow shoutmon blue and shoutmon black as his partners?

With four Shoutmon's, Mikey's adventure would be very different with four different personalities clashing with each other. I imagine each would have a different character:

The red one would be quick to anger;

The yellow one would be a happy go lucky one who is peaceful;

The blue one would be a crybaby who cries at the drop of a hat;

And the black one would be a scaredy cat who's afraid of his own shadow.

I feel only the red one could form Shoutmon x#. The others can be used in different fusions but not the main one.

I'm a little bummed. After they announced ShineGreymon I realized they were going in something close to series order, tackling Adventure, 02, stopping for Mugendramon, Tamers, X-Evolution, and skipper Frontier to get to Savers with our release here. And if you've read any of my previous reviews, you'd guess I was hyping myself up that Shoutmon would be announced soon!... But the next announced release was MetalGreymon T_T Don't get me wrong, I think it looks like a great kit (I bought 3 for custom purposes), but I'm still sad m'boi's release has been pushed back again.

The Good: This is a fantastic build. It has the best use of parts layering of any of the Digimon Amplified kits by far. It has large-plate stickers, inner wires, new gimmicks, everything interesting from the previous kits refined into a single package.

It's got pretty good posability, with some dedicated additional shoulder joints to help with the odd torso, good ankles, and fantastic wings. The tail even has a little hinge in the ornament so you can orientate it.

The Bad: While the kit adds a bunch of extra joints to the chest, the spikes still hinder its ability to cross its arms over its chest, and thus two-hand the GeoGrey Sword. It's probably part of the reason they gave it the ability to split.

The Details: To match the other kits I've done, I did metallic red panel lining on all the non-red parts, and metallic blue panel lining on all the red parts to match the included stickers. This causes some discrepancies between the stickers and paint, as some blue is present on the white and gold, but I think it looks fine regardless. Other than that, I painted the eyes black, light gold, and silver, and used the plate stickers on the GeoGrey Sword.

Overall, it's a fantastic kit that only really suffers when posing its arms in front of its chest. Like Mugendramon, it's another kit I can easily recommend to model kit fans, not just Digimon fans.

Before Kausgammamon could reply back a door near the bathroom of the ship swung open. Out walk SymbareAngoramon and he smiles as if recognizing the Blue Digimon.

SymbareAngoramon:Kausgammamon!

Kausgammamon:Oh?

SymbareAngoramon:Kaus, it been too long. What the hell are you doing here?

Kausgammamon: "Oh, me? I'm on a trip to the cosmos...in my mind."

SymbareAngoramon "Yeah, we get it, you're on peyote. Where the hell's Betelgammamon?"

Kausgammamon "Oh, him! ...He's still on the ship. We can go say hi to him if you want. HEY! Betel! We got guests! Show some fuckin' respect!

Betelgammamon is blue and injured on the deck, a hole in his stomach that looks to be the same size as Kaus' noise. Kausgammamon growled, shaking his head.

Kausgammamon: You lazy piece of shit."

Kausgammamon: "You better shut the fuck up before I dip my testicles in your mouth again."

Betelgammamon:"SymbareAngoramon, please. He's crazy."

Kausgammamon: *stuffs his junk into Betelgammamon a wide smile on his face.* "WOOOOOO!"

Episode Recap: Shoutmon shows Taiki and the others the Village of Smiles, from whom his army hails. Akari and Zenshirou express a desire to go home (after Akari meets Cutemon, briefly), which upsets Shoutmon. He tries to entice Taiki and the others to stay by mentioning there are other humans in the Digital World, proving it's an exciting place to be. Taiki persists, but the humans are ambushed by Madleomon's army. Madleomon seems to think they're in league with Blue and Loops, and fuses with Orochimon to fight them. Shoutmon returns to save the day, and Taiki Xroses him with Ballistamon to form (sigh) Shoutmon X2. Seeing that they still need each other, Taiki decides to remain.

OC Introduction: Tiso

Design

Tiso is funny.

When they were first concepted (when I was around 13-14 years old), they were quite literally Shoutmon from Digimon but blue. That’s it.

At some point, I got tired of people making overly edgy OCs with godlike powers so in totally not hypocritical fashion I made my own.

Tiso went from Shoutmon to uuuuuuuuuuuuuh some sort of creature I don’t know what else to call it

They were still blue. The only notable change was their personality and that their visual design incorporated “power limiters”. Black bracelets worn on each wrist and ankle.

The power limiters were supposed to hold back and suppress the power of whoever wore them. While nowadays I envision this hilarious fucking concept old me came up with as something that would be used for training, past me wanted to show this over-powered unstoppable monster that’s still being held back by these dingy little bracelets. If Tiso ever wanted to up the stakes, they would snap the bracelets off one by one, with the neck bracelet being the final one.

It was such a stupid. Fucking. Corny. Concept.

And then I liked it as an adult. What a world.

Abilities / Traits

Tiso was this character that had a different set of shit they could do every time they showed up.

Tiso was an edgy piece of shit and I intend to keep that trait.

But now I made sure that they're always like that. For any situation.

Reminder that Xros Heart’s success stemmed largely from their willingness to recruit anyone regardless of their prior history, up to and including defectors from the Bagra Empire such as Dorulumon and Olegmon and even Blue Flare, their rival faction.

Taiki and Shoutmon weren’t looking for loyalty, they were looking for those who had anything to contribute to the team and loyalty came as a consequence of their ability to lead these misfits.

Hypothetical but how do you think the Kaiser would work in Xros Wars? i was asked which 'rival' i would team up with which leader a while ago and after thinking about it for a while i thought that the Kaiser in Xros Wars may be really really terrifying actually... also who would you pair up in a switch scenario with all the 'rival'/leader characters we got in Digimon?

I think this might actually depend on what we mean by "the Kaiser". If by "the Kaiser" we mean the character of Ichijouji Ken himself taking on the persona of the Kaiser, I actually think he would end up pretty pathetically useless in Xros Wars' setting. There's a reason I call him "an eleven-year-old throwing a tantrum"; he has the ability to brainwash Digimon, sure, but the Kaiser in 02 was only able to get as far as he did because the biggest threat he had going against him was also made up of elementary school kids, and the Digital World had mostly been a pretty peaceful place very heavily spread out without much organization while everything else was incapacitated or sealed. In terms of actually putting his tools to use, Ichijouji Ken's Kaiser is frankly kind of an idiot, because his concept of tactics doesn't go much further beyond the scope of a soccer field and his entire way of going about things amounts to "brainwash it and hit it harder", especially since he really has no true goals except to stroke his own ego and vent out his frustrations. So in other words, I think, up against someone like one of the Generals who's capable of raising up an entire army and creating complicated siege plans, Ken would have stood absolutely no chance whatsoever.

This is, incidentally, why I think someone like Taichi would have actually been a significantly more terrifying threat. Taichi's ability to rally up favor with actual charisma and long-term planning would have been far more terrifyingly effective than Ken ever was.

Now, if we're just simplifying this to "a character like the Kaiser who's capable of using tools like Evil Rings and Dark Towers at their disposal" being put in the Xros Wars world, then yes, I think that would be very terrifying in the hands of someone who's actually got a proper sense of purpose, planning, and charisma. Yuu already did more than enough damage with Apollomon Whispered, so think about how much worse that would be on a wider scale. Ouch.

As for the switch scenario, I think I'd like to see a Daisuke-Ken and Haru-Yuujin swap -- Appmon doesn't have a particular lancer character and even saying it's Yuujin in the first place requires a bit of a force, but I'm just saying I want to see this because I find it interesting how some key aspects of them are basically swapped (in that Haru's temperament is quite close to Ken's in many ways while Yuujin has many traits in common with Daisuke).

Happy Odaiba Day, everyone! This year, I was inspired by the key visual for DigiFes 2022, which has the Frontier kids with merch of their Human Spirit forms. I was especially enamored with Takuya’s shirt! I figured it would be really fun to have the other leads rep their own partners with cool T-shirts. Also, like Takuya in the DigiFes key art, each lead is wearing a wristband with their associated color, because I thought that was a fun touch.

So its Leader centric one! Our favorite goggleboys get trapped in a distorted digital world without their teams and only their partners and the other leaders to help them! While they all met before in Digiquartz it wasnt enough time to become friends so its awkward as hell at first. Taichi and Daisuke get along just fine as do Taiki and Tagiru but the others are just not sure what to do with this situation. (The Digimon dont have this Problem they hang out and get along from day one lmao)

They warm up eventually since theyre stuck together trying to navigate the distorted digiworld while finding their friends while uncovering who took them away and who made this distorted world.

I want to focus on them becoming friends but also on things i think the anime never mentioned/ things i think should be addressed!

Its very headcanon based and will implement a lot of media! I want to get into Trauma and purpose and the way they were shaped by being the leader who is supposed to always be strong and reliable.

The dynamics are going to be very fun to explore haha

The leaders are all going to have an arc that will make them grow as a person!

Taichi is going to uncover a few hidden memories of things he doesnt remember (blue? and what does that voice mean by calling him a Tamer?) Agumon will learn that there is a mission he has to complete to ensure stability and peace, something he was destinied to do.

Daisuke is going to realize what Miracles actually means; how it shapes the world and why its so important to the digiworld, Veemon is going to realize that Courage and friendship grant armor in more ways than one.

Takato will confront the feelings he tried to let go off and bury when Megidramon appeared (he forgave impmon but some feelings are hard to accept) Guilmon will have to face the question of his existence as a hazard digimon and what that entails.

Takuya is going to learn to accept both sides; the Digimon and the Human (the first journey was long and Takuya has started to behave more like a digimon, hiding that is difficult a part of him still yearns for comforting fire), Agnimon isn't there anymore but his parting gift is a blessing and a curse.

Masaru try as he might cant forget Kurata and his experiments; the mad scientis fused himself with a digimon how can that be forgiven? Agumon just wants his Aniki to be happy but some things cant be solved with food and a good fight.

Taiki went through war as a teen and some things he had to do to ensure peace and safety he just cant forget, Shoutmon loves being King, he really does! But the responsibility is more than he can carry alone and why does his core hurt when he talks about omegamon?

Tagiru will need to confront the resentment he came to hold in his heart when ryouma almost took Taiki and Shoutmon away forever while Gumdramon will have to learn that strenght isnt just physical but a mental thing aswell.
