All around definitely Caleb... he's my precious blorbo from my mind. I'm the #1 Caleb fanboy. I put him in all my stories because I'm obsessed with him lol. And it's fun to imagine what he'd be like in different circumstances.

I really like drawing all my characters! Since the majority of my characters are made for comics I make it a requirement that I enjoy drawing them because I'll have to do it over and over and over and over.

my fix it one piece headcannons

(besides hot gay sex, proper skin tones ((this is also in the fix it)))

-sanji gets trapped on a rock for his timeskip- this is how he learns to skywalk and ends up on kambaka

just imagine one of the main horrible things that has ever happened to him and he’s back. how long is he going to have to wait? he’s stuck for how long? no. not this time. he spends almost a month there until he sky walks to the island

he doesn’t even have time to complain or whine about the people and the front he would put on. he’s safe and that’s what matters. they take care of him and he comes to have a depose understanding and appreciation for them

he wears the clothes because he doesn’t have anything else- but he learns how to sew and makes the best dresses and outfits later on

- ussop is actually the most comfortable out of everyone with his sexuality. he has THE RIZZ he picks up anyone and everyone just being his cute flirty self

- post skip (and i’ve mentioned this before) sanji, chopped and ussop all working together one meals, and medicine!

ussop island and knowledge of plants- he brings back and is able to grow medicinal herbs, cooking herbs ect ect

sanji has left over parts to his food that can’t be cooked so he learns how to turn them into herbs, soaps, practical things

- franky only upgraded his body again because it was failing him post skip. he got by in his city after the accident- but continuing in his form with all the battles, the straw hats get into only weared down what he had for a body

- robin and sanji would absolutely have met at some point during the timeskip. iva being a top leader in the revolutionary army? hell yeah.

i imagine that robin is also the first one to know about germa and sanjis connection he would have told her. they confide in each other about how they have a similar upbringing

- i also imagine germa being on the revolutionary army’s radar for their experiments, and how this could tie into ceaser earlier that the kid experiment was actually another way for judge to test things out

it just would have made more sense to bring it up earlier/ that doffy had a connection to judge too being a ex world noble teaming up with a next higher power that has a lot of pull and rank and aligns with his ideals

Hi anon! I am so unbelievably flattered that you came to me. I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to reply. Would you like ✏️ anon if you come back?

I hope I answer this well. He is my oldest, dearest blorbo so I'm going to answer with series and book (head)canon, so there are some pretty hefty spoilers below the cut.

Characterization tips....

When in doubt, go bigger and more French! Do you doubt something you're writing for him is believable? You're probably wrong. This guy found Atlantis in canon. He has flown into the sun, switched bodies with a human, and met the literal, actual Devil.

Would he realistically flirt in your scenario? Yes. But what if...? Yes. He will always flirt. Always.

But on a more serious note, Lestat is very vain because he is incredibly powerful yet insecure. He can cause a lot of damage and is his own worst enemy. The embodiment of chaos.

Anne didn't christen him The Brat Prince for no reason at all. He not only pouts when he doesn't get what he wants, he often pouts when he gets exactly what he wants. He is rarely satisfied and once a mystery is solved or an objective obtained he's ready to move on.

Something that makes him particularly appealing to me has always been his contrasts, how he can be so self-centered and horrible, but love so openly and deeply. If he loves someone he would die for them, as long as he looked good doing it. He can hate and love the same person in the same moment and still give them everything he has. But, he will always try to be a step ahead to have his own safety net because trust isn't his thing.

Lestat has such an odd mix of confidence and insecurity. He never once questioned why the Queen of the vampires would be enamored with him. Of course she would be. But even during all of his drama with Akasha he pined for Louis. Many of his exploits are to get the attention of someone who isn't giving him enough at the moment.

I'm going to do a deep TVL dive real quick because this is the foundation of who he is for me. The Wolfkiller. He was embarrassed at being "poor" aristocracy and the one warm coat he had was the one the villagers made for him from the wolf pelt. He wasn't proud of that event, but that coat meant more to him than they could possibly imagine.

Also, he loves dogs. Seriously, if you need to write him having a pet dog, go for it. Especially mastiffs and boucherons (book and series canon).

I don't particularly like the word "flamboyant" for him, but he is. He is performative. Rarely does he do anything that isn't thoroughly thought through if someone is watching. He is equally impetuous if it looks good.

Lastly, some emotional characterization. He hates to appear vulnerable, but is constantly vulnerable. It's almost as if he doesn't know how to mask that part of him. His desperation to be part of the Italian acting troupe was obvious almost to the point of being a pathetic fanboy. He can't help but be incredibly earnest. Even if it causes him pain or embarrassment.

The Father of Lies, the Brat Prince, Wolfkiller, Lelio... Lestat is all of these things. That's what has always made him such a rich character. He can be serious, but Anne's description of him through Armand might be my favorite: he must make a gutter theatrical out of stubbing his toe.

How dare I put Raiden as a war criminal? Well, he was only a child back then, but by his own admission, he was ordered to kill civilians and POWs with a big knife when he was a child soldier in Liberia. Most of the time he was a tool in someone else's hands - and he did often too horrible things to people, and then suffered nightmares after this. Has killed his shitty adoptive father who made him like this - and also allowed malicious illuminati to take more control over the world in the process. His girlfriend betrayed him several times, but he still chose to be with her and their son in the end. He was also turned in a cyborg with a katana after his first game, because 20 years ago many MGS fanboys were homophobes who didn't like an androgynous protagonist. It didn't even matter that Raiden is extremely straight. Despite this, was mistaken for a woman at least once.

YES!!! Adric is genuinely up there as one of my favorite doctor who characters of all time. He:

is overflowing with autism, and doesn't want to leave the TARDIS half the time because he wants to sit in bed and read math books

doesn't know how gender works

shows no respect to anyone except the Doctor who he repeatedly beats people up for

walked so Jimmy Neutron and Sheldon Cooper could run

would kiss a boy, but also would say "ew" if you said you like liked him

sucks up to basically every villain, which is a very interesting thing to explore as a writer, but instead everyone just looks at him and goes "you suck stop it"

was the audience surrogate as a fanboy of the show, but he was also from a different fucking universe (which is never brought up again really???? like e-space is just for Adric, no one else gets that)

got blown up because the writers thought he was too cringe

gave the redemption arc HE SHOULD HAVE HAD and was crammed into Earthshock to Turlough, who I'm still developing my opinion on but I've settled somewhere around "ehh you're okay" with so far

glance: At first glance, what stands out most about your OC's appearance? What's their distinguishing feature?

I think it's just how delicate his features are, like, that is his mom's face. And on Ella, those features are sharp & pretty distinctive, you slap that on a boy though & suddenly he is a delicate little bird who is so, so pretty. I think if you had to pick a standout feature, maybe his lips? They're fuller than Ella’s so the shape is more pronounced (& is adding to the prettiness of the Pretty Boy™)

If you want to get into "comparatively, this is standout," then is his height in comparison to the other men at Thorn Hall because he managed to be 5'11" (RIP House Tyrell of Thorn Hall, y'all are maxing out at 5'9"), & his eyes in comparison to most people he hangs out with. He's got double Grandpa Alaric Stark's eyes while his dad & sisters have brown eyes & his mom's side of the family all have purple eyes.

stillness: How does your OC act while still? Are they fidgety? Do they have any common gestures or tics? Does their clothing affect how they hold themselves while at rest?

Griffith is pretty stationary. He has good posture & is maybe even a little stiff, especially in comparison to his dad who stands around posed like a marble statue right after the Ancient Greeks figured out contrapposto. A lot of what he wears is very buttoned up, & so he holds himself pretty straight-up-and-down. Least jaunty lad in the game. He's also definitely one of those "I rest my hands on my sword because I'm not sure what else to do with my hands" types.

favorite: Does your OC have a favorite article of clothing or accessory? What is it? What's the meaning behind it? Do they wear it all the time or do they wear it sparingly to keep it safe?
