One last update on the pup situation - He IS home! <3 We were able to bring him home yesterday and he's doing all right, though he's still pretty groggy and slowly regaining his appetite. Got him on some special food to help him out and things are headed back to reasonably normal, finally TWT <3 They called before we picked him up and said he was doing even BETTER, which is the miracle we were hoping for. <3

So while he's getting some rest, I've got Rebirth's data disk doing its thing and hopefully, my crappy net and all cutting me some slack, I'll be playing that later today too! <3 Until then, swandiving back into blogwork and hoping I don't absolutely crash like I've been needing to for the last like, 4 days-

would you ever share your private template? ofc, not filled but a blank one! I'm very curious about the information others add in sys documents n stuff!

< Mod Vyvian > Sure! I'll post it under a cut because it's kind of long. Anyone who likes can feel free to use it for their own private templates, but if you run a build-a-headmate blog and want to use this template for your purposes, we'd consider it polite if you changed it up a little like added or removed some sections, at least use different aesthetic formatting.

Some explanations about some of the things:

"Roleics" is something we coined! A "roleic" is something a headmate considers part of their role without it being inherently the role in and of itself. For example, a headmate who feels as though dogs are a part of their role would use the label "dogroleic" and we would write "dogs" under that part of the template.

Because we get a lot of alters who are from or connected to other countries (e.g. songtives whose source is an album from another country in another language), we have the "nationality" section for what country that alter originally hails from in their timeline as well as "heritage" if they are descended from a country without originally being from there. (A lot of the time, the connection is to countries we're descended from, and they sometimes relate to our bodily heritage based on how they relate to our family.) The section for "languages enjoyed" usually connects to that as well as the fact that we listen to music in different languages.

"Spiritual affiliation" refers to whether they have a spirituality/religion and, if so, what it is. "Gods" refers to the specific entities they regard as deities/forces under that spirituality. "Celestial guardians" are something in our spiritual beliefs, and it's where you regard a celestial object (e.g. the moon or a certain star) the same way you would a guardian angel.

"In-sys friends" are headmates who already exist in the system who would likely be friends with the headmate we're making the template for. The headmates listed there aren't REQUIRED to be friends with the resultant headmate when they split, but it's predicted that they would get along together.

The reason our templates have sections for specific favorite media while the request versions do not is because we are not familiar with a wide range of media (plus we do not prefer mentioning specific pieces of media in our blogwork), so that's less for getting new ideas about the headmate and more for determining what, out of things we currently interact with, they would most enjoy.

The reason we have a section on our personal template for kinks but do not offer this on the blog while still offering kink roles is because, while kink is a big deal to us, we have a limited comfort level when offering to write about specific kinks for strangers or in fully public settings (e.g. a Tumblr blog), plus we try to keep this blog mostly SFW.

JP Translator Recruitment

Hello everyone! As a group have been mulling over this decision for a while, but due to real life responsibilities and the pace at which the JP server has been releasing content, we’ve decided to open up applications for another JP translator! Please consider joining and helping us out so we can release even more translations and summaries!

Requirements:

Possess a high level of fluency in reading and understanding Japanese (around JLPT N2 or N3 level in terms of grammar.)

Friendly and able to work in a group with different personalities. 

Quick turnaround rate for translations and punctuality! This is very important due to the sheer amount of things we have to work through, as you can see the lagging state of the ERS right now. This can be flexible depending on real life schedules and obligations, but please understand that this is a very time-consuming position and requires more/less work depending on your level of fluency and translation experience!

Now that I’m not sick out of my mind, I can do some blog updating! XD

I should have all but one thread replied to at the moment! If I haven’t given you a reply and you’re waiting on one from me, hit me up in an ask or IM - It’s more than likely tumblr ate my notif and I never saw it, and I’m more than happy to get that back to you! <3

As I’ve begun playing Genshin Impact as of mid-october and thus know more about the game for myself without having to rely super heavily on @honorisen to hold my hand on things, I’ve actually gone and given a few of my muses GI verses. I AM still new to Teyvat despite being AR37 at the time of writing this post and have a lot to catch up on, though, so I’ll be a bit on the selective side regarding threads until I can fully catch up on the lore and plot. Apologies if I’m a bit clueless in the meantime, though I’ve already read up on and know a lot, I think!

At the moment, only Saiki and Cettra have GI based verses. Sera’s is written over at @sakurarisen​.

My rules have been updated a bit! Of notable addition is the above about GI, and a note on shipping: I will no longer be accepting more romantic ships unless they’re with @honorisen​ / @yoroiis​ / @duelrisen / @codeunknwn​. All romantic-based ships I’ve had to this point will be staying intact and nothing’s changing, I’m keeping them all, but going forward I won’t be doing further ships outside of with Kasa, and am otherwise exclusive with her! <3

Sera has seen the addition of a new family member: @yoroiis​‘s Thoma, an elder brother who she’s been brought up under the belief is her cousin, instead. Further information has been added to the misc section of her about, and Thoma applies to every verse, as he’s completely canon to her in every form.

I’m in the process of working on a credits page and updating/finishing my list of other blogs and muses, but the tag page should be fully updated! If you can’t find the tag or link you’re looking for, it’ll be on the tags page - And if you still can’t find it, my inbox is always open. <3

I beliiiiiiieve that’s everything at the moment... I’m still working on things here and there and do still fully intend to be checking in here 2-3 times a week, but getting sick for about a month right after I made that promise didn’t exactly help.
