It happened AGAIN: a Facebook page with 83,000+ followers, "Attire's Mind," ripped off the content of one of my dress history posts.

Compare my 1840s readymade men's wear post with the inferior copy (that omits sources and links).

Today it was the Paris Musées redingote post. Notice how "Attire's Mind" uses my image edits (again), and also eliminates my citation while loosely copying the text.

If you are blogging about dress history here, especially if you are a small and obscure blog like yours truly, check "Attire's Mind" for stolen content.

It is particularly aggravating since he is clearly going the James Somerton route with this: stealing the work of passionate but little-known creatives, and making an inferior version that incidentally removes citations.

thoughts on tfem eridan

all headcanons are valid but tbh eridan is very masc, and seems to prefer it that way. even taking into account that most of his outfit emulates dualscar, when he does make clothing decisions that aren't inspired by dualscar, they're always masc as fuck - from the gaudy sneakerhead-type sneakers to the white-rimmed douchebag shades. like im never gonna tell people not to hc eridan as trans or w/e, but the canon suggests that eridan actually prefers to present masc even when there's no pressure to do so, and that's important to his characterization (being a right-wing radicalized 4chan boy, which is an overwhelmingly masc archetype)

#and lest we forget #march eridan was originally both a man in a dress joke #as well as a total fanon fabrication with 0 basis in canon #tbh i think transmasc eridan works better because he really genuinely goes out of his way to present masc #like trolls overall dont care about fashion but even so eridan goes out of his way to accessorize in extremely masc gear #but yeah hc whatever you want like #i believe he owns a dress or two because every male troll should bc gender matters less on alternia #but theres nothing canonically that would suggest that he would prefer that in any way #but also who cares lol. do what makes you happy #this is just the canon discussion blog

My name is Raven! I’m 19 years old and live in the US.

I enjoy y2k fashion, hello kitty, keeping up with the Kardashians, and also juicy couture! I also like super models and fashion shows. A majority of my posts are of that and then my personal thoughts as well.

I like painting and doing art when I can. When I have money, I like to spend it on hello kitty and new clothes of course! I have a hello kitty plushie collection and I collect miscellaneous items as well. I have two Juicy bags and two Juicy mini backpacks. I also have a wallet and then an assortment of clothes. I’m on a journey to find a vintage tracksuit lol. I love Juicy!!

Some of my favorite movies/shows are dexter, PEN15, uptown girls, clueless, shameless, and freaky friday. I love movies with brittany murphy and lindsay lohan!

Idk if this is exactly your fandom niche, but I've really enjoyed your canon analyses before so I thought I might as well ask. Most people in fandom dress Atem in either goth clothing or straight up ancient Egyptian dress but as we know per the Anzu date early on, Atem thinks goth clothing is tacky, and you can't really put him in ancient clothing in modern day.

So my question is do you have any thoughts, headcanon or otherwise, on Atem's style? Or maybe you could direct me somewhere else? Thanks for your time!

Masculine-cut but fruity and stylish. He likes his pastels and his jewelry. Misses his cape, so lots of flowy stuff and layering. Enjoys comfiness. Not necessarily afraid of dresses and skirts which he perceives as gender-neutral clothing but probably saves it for around the house or on special occasions. Contains any number of fashion eccentricities since he wasn't raised with our intuitive style rules but since he's Atem he just pulls it off.

I think in my brain the ur/default "casual modern Atem" outfit is like. A nice collared shiny silk shirt in a pastel floral pattern layered over a tee, big dangly earrings, cartouche, shorts and sandals.
