tbh I don't talk about my orientation often or make any pride art relating to it not only bc I am just more sorta casual about it but also because I've never really come upon a label that I felt fit me bc my experience is just kind of wild.

imagine going your entire life never experiencing romantic or physical attraction and then having it hit you over the head like a cartoon mallet when you see a bean man

now that's been the case for nearly 5 years now. he was my LITERAL awakening in that sense lmao

i don't really feel comfortable calling myself aroace because my feelings for him are every bit as real as they would be for someone you could reach out and touch physically, but i think in most cases that's how most people would understand me

i just kind of assumed i'd never know what it felt like so having it, even if it's in a form that's unusual to most, feels wonderful and brings a lot of happiness to my life

When James says “you ask amiss,” the word amiss means “sick, weak, miserable.” When we ask to just get by and endure, that’s a weak prayer. That’s asking amiss. God is saying, “I created the whole universe. Don’t come to Me with a weak prayer, asking Me to help you live in mediocrity. Ask big, knowing that I’m the God of more than enough. Ask Me to show out in your life, to heal you from that disease, to accelerate your goals.”

When you ask big, God calls that a healthy prayer. That’s when He says to the angels, “Go to work. Release My favor. Open new doors.” Ask to be the difference maker. Ask to set a new standard. When you say, “God, I don’t have the funds for this project, but I want to thank You that blessings are chasing me down,” that’s your faith being released. That’s what allows God to do great things.

My pastor 's grandmother -in-law, his wife's grandma, Granny Blake, has lived to see all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren come to Salvation. What an amazing blessing! Now God is calling her home, after a life well lived.
