The   Kingslayer   was   renounced   around   the   realm.   Her   queen   had   spoke   of   him   as   the   one   who   had   taken   her   father   down,   now   free   of   his   duties   to   the   realm   as   Kingsguard   and   as   a   Lord   of   his   house.   A   fine   men,   despite   his   age   and   lack   of   one   hand.   Doreah   had   wanted   men   with   less,   and   Goddess   above,   she   wanted   the   man.   She   did   made   it   clear   to   him   through   the   night.   And   upon   the   call   of   the   night,   she   was   allowed   passage   to   his   rooms,   his   chambers,   where   she   allowed   him   to   take   pleasure   after   who   knew   how   long.   But   despite   the   rush   she   expected,   she   is   surprised   when   he   leans   down   her   frame,   clothes   removed   and   casted   aside   and   it's   the   warm   of   his   tongue   against   her   wet   heat   that   causes   her   to   laugh   through   a   moan   at   the   surprise.  

She   rises   to   rest   on   her   elbows,   wanting   to   see   the   sight   of   him   taking   his   delight   between   her   legs.   "You   feast   like   a   hungry   man,   my   lord."   Let   him   feast   them,   one   hand   moves   to   his   hair,   brushing   away   and   pulling   gently   as   her   hips   grind   against   his   mouth.   The   weight   of   his   gold   hand   on   her   body   causes   her   to   shiver   against   him,   not   moving   too   much   as   she   is   weak   against   him.   "How   do   I   taste?"   Doreah   speaks   out   loud,   biting   on   her   lip   at   such   a   lovely   sight,   she   does   love   when   a   man   takes   pleasure   in   a   feast.   "Gods,   right   there,   Jaime."

Like was such a legit game changer for me as a kid

I remember that family and grownups and other kids at school would tell me in a sort of mean-spirited way "you look/sound/act/dress/talk like a boy" and I'd just be like

There were other unexpected things that came from that long-term I think but that'sprobably where it started being fun

Jammer's arc this season is making me think of Lou's genius take on Pinocchio as a metaphor for the struggles of Black boyhood and WHEW!!

That constant impossible pressure on his shoulders as he enters adulthood. The way he talks about taking care of his mom and life back home. THE GOAT HOOF COMING OFF HIS CHEST?? Jammer could very easily be my younger brother and so many young guys I know and boy howdy let me tell y'all I burst into tears thinking about all the goat hoofs on all their chests

On a related note, there's something about people (including Sam in this too) who make others feel welcomed that gets overlooked so often - where does that desire come from? Why do you think a charismatic person would prioritize community if it comes so easily to them? I think folks see the "quantity" (so to speak) of the community created and don't consider the quality of those relationships. And yeah you can't ignore the racial aspect of this. The sort of unexamined "this is my Black friend" vibe they are up against in their lives. Jammer and Sam are not just being kind good hearted people. They are searching for something substantive and I really need them both to have moments that let them dig into why that is soon.
